"Founded by Eastside chef Jocelyn Ramirez in 2015, this vegan catering company blends South American and Mexican roots into healthy, plant-based takes on familiar dishes. After launching at LA farmers markets and building a popular stand at Smorgasburg serving fresh juices and smoothies, the operation now aims to open a brick-and-mortar Eastside cafe. To fund the move, the team is launching a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise $50,000 (campaign launches tomorrow and is scheduled to run through August 3); the money will cover equipment, permits, and renovations.
