Dined here for a weekday lunch. Located near one end of a strip mall, the exterior design and signage is minimal and unassuming. Enter the restaurant and you're drawn in by the modern design with subtle traditional Korean style décor. Staff warmly greeted us and immediately escorted us to our table. The dining area is spacious with good mix of regular tables/chairs and several grill tables for Korean BBQ, etc. The dining area had mostly soft lighting and a mix of neutral and some colorful hues throughout. Even had a couple of TVs on (no/low audio) in the dining area, one with the news and the other showing K-drama (at that time - When Live Gives You Tangerines). Waitress was friendly, very courteous, and helpful with some suggestions based on what we were looking for. Waitress suggested the Oh So Myun (which is ojingeo-bokkeum on noodles and serving for two). The squid and vegetables were delicious and flavorful. Also decided to try their jjajangmyeon, which was perfectly cooked, flavorful, very filling, and satisfying. Banchan served with the meals were ok. Waitress was attentive and even asked if we wanted more banchan sides, which was already sufficient. Overall, great meals and very good service at reasonable prices. Sufficient parking available in shared parking lot. Also appears to have some covered outdoor dining seating near the front entrance of the restaurant.

Google
Tofu Village (싸리골) has always been my go-to spot for authentic Korean cuisine. The food here is consistently delicious, capturing the true flavors of Korea. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in each dish make every visit worthwhile. One thing that would make the experience even better is having more BBQ tables. As a true Korean BBQ restaurant owned by Koreans, it deserves to have ample space for guests to fully enjoy the grilling experience. Despite this, the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming, and the staff is attentive and friendly. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean BBQ experience in the area, Tofu Village (싸리골) is definitely worth a visit. I can’t recommend it enough!

Good service. Food was decent. The strip mall looks rundown but the inside wasn’t bad. It’s old but service was nice and food was good enough for me to come back again.

Google
This place a very nice decor at the entrance and the dining room is nice. The staff is respectful and attentive. The food was AMAZING and DELICIOUS! Every was great from the appetizer, the man plates, and side dishes as well. I will definitely visit again.

Google
I won't be going back. The waitress had an attitude, never returned to refill our side dishes, and only refilled some drinks once. The food was decent but not spectacular, and they included a 19% gratuity AUTOMATICALLY. I always like to tip, but as the customer, I decide how much based on quality of service. We definitely didn't receive service deserving of 19%.

If you want to try Authentic Korean food, this place should be on top of your list. Great scrumptious food with best service is why I love visiting this place. My personal favorite is JhangBong, Tofu Stew with Kimchi and spicy Chicken. Their hot Stonepot Bibimbob is also delicious. In appetizers, I usually prefer Tteokbokki and Kimchi Pan Cake. Overall, food is great and everything about this place consistent. They never fail to disappoint. It gets pretty crowded on weekends during dinner hours but it is worth the wait.

Google
Food was good, service was so so. They want to save cost in a strange way. We ordered a little too much and had a lot of leftovers. so we asked for 3 containers. They said they would only give us 2 containers and ask us to put three different dishes in one container. I just don’t understand their logic to make your customer upset to save a container that cost maybe 25 cents.

Google
Great food, good experience with the bbq. Really like grilling own proteins. We had beef, spicy pork and shrimp. Nice flavor. Our family enjoyed the experience. Liked the side items also. Had sprouts, potatoes, and the classics. Will have to return to try other things on the menu.

Yelp
A few things to note: 1. If you want a table with kBBQ grill, ASK for it, but plan for all of not most of your party to order kBBQ. 2. The service isn't bad, it's just different. 3. They give great banchan (Korean side dishes) and will refill as you ask. 4. If you want kBBQ, do not order just one dish. Order at least 2 or they'll get annoyed with you. Instead you can order most of the stuff on the kBBQ menu but already cooked. If you do that, the meat comes with lettuce leaves and a few sauces (one peanuty sauce and another sort of sweet chile sauce), which you can wrap the meat in. Most of the negative reviews about this place are because of the service, and I think it's mostly because Americans aren't used to service from other cultures. There are certain expectations for how much to order/eat, and an understanding that waiters are here to feed you and that's it, in places like Korea, that aren't as common in America. The waiters were never rude, they were just to the point, unsmiling, serious, and of few words. We did hear from our waitress that some of the owners can be stingy, but she happily refilled drinks, banchan, and gave us extra kimchi to take home. Here's what I tried: -Bulgogi: 7/10 - It was good, just not the most flavorful. I've had better bulgogi, and it also wasn't piping hot. I also think the marinade could've been better, but it was bulgogi, it was good, and there was quite a bit of it. -kBBQ (precooked) Galbi: 9/10 - I adored their Galbi. It was hot, the special sauce on it was sweet, salty, and umami, and the meat itself was tender, well cooked, and had a bit of a chew to it. The meaty flavor really shined, and paired with the lettuce leaves, rice, and sauces, it was absolutely divine.

Yelp
What you need to know: 1. If you want Ginseng Chicken Soup, you must order it two hours in advance. 2. If you want the full BBQ experience, get a grill table, but if you do that, you have to order as many meat entrees as there are people in your party ($25-$27 each). 3. You may get a tiny lecture if you start eating the sides before your meat is ready. 4. Service is good. 5. Bulgogi dishes are delicious, duck is good.

Yelp
I haven't had Korean in too long so my husband found this place for us to go on a date night. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and offers k-dramas on some of the TVs to watch. The food is very well flavored, fresh, and delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Excellent Korean restaurant!

Yelp
Bought one of everything on the menu.. you know when you try a new place and you want to try everything. Yeah, i did that as a single dine in eater. Lots of food. Everything was good no complaints. Least favorite item the pot stickers (Mandu). Had plenty for lunch the next day after eating heavily. Prices are fair. Atmosphere is good. Convenient location off 75.

Yelp
It sucks having to give this place a 1 star after all of this time because the food is good, but I can't deal with the poor customer service anymore. I just came to pick up my order not too long ago. When I arrived and gave my name, they stated that they accidentally gave my order to someone else that had the same first name as my last name. I understand mistakes happen so it sucked but I was completely understanding. They were going to quickly remake mine when the customer that accidentally took my order came back since he realized the mistake. They immediately tried to give this order back to me, but I expressed my concern about it being unsanitary since it was most likely opened already by the customer and not sure what else. The hostess proceeded to argue with me to try to convince me to just take the order when one of the staff came by and stated that they'll just remake it. I waited about 10 minutes and they gave me my order. I fully believe that they just waited that same period of time until they handed me the same order they accidentally gave away because the jjajjangmeyon I ordered was completely lukewarm at this point. I previously had a bad experience when I picked up an ordered a few weeks ago as well and just thought it was an off night so I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. However, this one takes the cake. I don't intend on coming back even though I love the food there, but I seriously question their practice and service skills. Absolutely disappointing after all of the years I've been here.

Yelp
Best Korean spot I've found for many miles around. If you're looking for authentic then this is your place. Everything I've tried has been very good.

Yelp
Came to Tofu Village for the lunch portion of the Kimchi Jjigae ($11.99) and was a little bit disappointed. Something was a little off about the stew. Yes this is a subject comment, but it just didn't hit the spot. And on top of that they charge way to much for extra cup of rice. Sure miss the kimchi in Koreatown Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Food: 2 Service: 5 Dinning Experience: 5 Total: 12 of 15 / 80% /

Yelp
Don't come 2-3:40 they eat their dinner and the service is poor. Also the don't wear hairnets in the kitchen area or any where rakes. Always good for Hot stone pot Doi Sholt Bi Bim Bob Make sure you specify this one because it comes with a very hot stone pot that crisp up the rice! And this is what you want to go with your delicate ingredients inside great contrast in both texture and taste!m Also the Kal Bi is also Consistently tasty and good value! The prices have gone up $3+ from when I was hear earlier. The service is normally not bad except when they are eating dinner As far as the restaurant itself, floors aren't the best cleanse leanness but it's always swept.

Yelp
I know I leave mostly 5 star reviews these days, but there's honestly no reason to do anything less! Tofu Village offers a wide variety of Korean dishes (stews, meats, rice and noodle options, etc.) and good banchan on the side. The dining room is dark and sultry with a couple TVs and outdoor seating seemed to be available, too, probably for busier times. I passed the restaurant over day and noticed the Korean on the sign and knew I had to hit this spot up on the way home that day. My daughters and I loved the jajangmyun and dolsot bibimbap. I wanted to order way more, but this ended up being plenty of food to feed us with leftovers to take home! Jajangmyun is a dish of soft chewy noodles in a thin-ish black bean-based sauce mixed with some beef and veggies. I haven't found it in many Korean restaurants here, so it was a real treat to eat it again! I wish I had had some salt to bring it up to my taste, but it was pretty well done as far as authentic flavor go. Dolsot bibimbap is my ultimate Korean comfort food. White rice topped with marinated beef, all kinds of veggies (e.g. sauteed spinach, bean sprouts, maybe zucchini and carrots), an over easy egg, and bibim sauce which is made with a sweetened gochujang (fermented chili paste) which you can add to your taste. (If you're not great with Asian spice, feel free to ask for the sauce on the side!) Pricing is a bit higher than Il Mee, which is about 5 minutes away, but the selection is larger. Service was great when we visited. I am really looking forward to when I can come again! Logistics: lots of free parking is available for the whole plaza. Men's and women's bathrooms are available near the front.

Yelp
The food never fails to be perfect. The service is quick but sometimes odd. I like odd. We eat here often.

Yelp
Tofu Village serves as great comfort food. The service can sometimes be a little slow depending on when you come in, but staff are happy to help if you have any questions. The environment is nice and calming, and there is usually plenty of seating with accommodations for small and large parties. Food at Tofu Village usually doesn't disappoint. I usually order Bibimbap or bulgogi. I've yet to be disappointed by either and they also provide large portions of sides. The beef is flavorful and tender. Only complaint is the amount of bulgogi they offer for the price. You might leave feeling hungry as the portions aren't exactly large enough to keep you full.

Yelp
Outstanding food. The most authentic Korean food we've found so far in atlanta. Excellent spot.

Yelp
Pretty good but wouldn't be in our standard rotation. Being diabetic I ordered an all meat dish. It was a sweet flavor and still drove my blood sugar up.

Yelp
Since my family isn't here, I've been craving authentic Korean food. Based on the ratings and reviews, I decided to try this spot. I should stick with my go-to place and stop trying new spots. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was hot brown water. I tried to look past it and ordered a spicy rice cake appetizer (Tteok-bokki) and bone broth soup (Soll lung tang). Once I received my food, everything appeared normal, but I noticed my rice cake broth was extremely loose. Traditionally, it's a thicker base and more of a red color, but this wasn't that at all. Maybe I'm used to making these dishes with my mom, and I'm overly critical, but nothing was right. The non-broth soup didn't have the traditional taste I was looking for, blah and not salt. I will say the kimchi was tasty, and I purchased more. I ate the rice and kimchi, but I couldn't eat the rest, so I packed up and left--wasted time, money, and effort. I'm not sure if the cook did this intentionally or was just bad business, but I won't patronize this business in the future. I'm assuming they won't be open for long with this level of service and food.

Yelp
Good solid Soon Tofu and banchan in the Marietta area. I haven't found better in cobb.

Yelp
We ended up here because our normal Korean spot was too busy and we were hungry We'd been wanting to try it after seeing soupbelly post about it on Instagram! Definitely worth the trip. The servers were all so nice & checked on us regularly. The food was good and most of the plates were big enough to share. I had the kimchi soon Doo boo and my husband had chicken ka su Chicken was sooo crispy and sauce was thick & tasty. Really good with the little sliced cabbage I didn't get a pic of the banchan but lemme say those potatoes are lit and the fish cakes were so good! The soon Doo boo had plenty of beef, tofu & even an egg. It was flavorful and I got medium but I'll definitely take it to hot next time. Wasn't sure what their idea of spice was. They also have kbbq that isnt all you can eat but it smelled good! There's plenty of parking & seating. The place is huge inside

Yelp
A friend and I ate here last week for the first time. Someone had recommended it to my friend (who's a vegan). I am NOT a vegan, so I was very happily surprised to find meat on the menu along with the vegetarian options. The server was very helpful as we chose what to order. I got the spicy chicken (which was delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender). We also got an order of fried dumplings for an appetizer, and they were delicious as well. I thought the decor was cute...not fancy, but homey and comfortable. We definitely plan on going here again.

Yelp
We stumbled in this place from Uber eats instead of Yelp. I think they suffered a lot during the pandemic but adjusted to do more home deliveries, and they managed to stay open. CHARCOAL BBQ I'm so glad they did because i didn't know that they have charcoal bbqs! We are always on th hunt for good charcoal Korean bbq and trekking to Duluth for 9292 was getting to be insane. The westside has its own little place and we are here for it! GALBI We got the galbi and it comes with all sides, salad and sauces. It is not all you can eat, so I'll just order the Galbee dish for one person. It is quite expensive, around $25, but they are pretty generous on the meat. BULGOGI The bulgogi comes the same way as the Galbee, but I think I prefer the Gabi a lot more because it was marinated and was full of flavor. The Bulgogi is not marinated, and was a bit of a drier meat. TOFU STEW WITH BEEF AND VEGGIES Soft tofu soup was so good, spicy, flavorful, and just warms your stomach. This is a must get here. The place seems to be run by old Korean ladies, and they are also your servers. They come often to cook your meat, cut them for you and almost serve you like an old Korean mom should.

Yelp
Love this place! everything is perfectly marinated and quality meats. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Plenty of parking

Yelp
Did not expect to find really Korean food near kennesaw, but this place did not disappoint. Had an amazing experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Very nice service, I like the kimchi. The location is also convenient to everywhere. Will come back.

Yelp
Show stoppin mate! Incredible food incredible service incredible staff! I have lived in the area for years and this was my first time and I will be coming back The ambiance inside is very nice and calm. Very comfy

Yelp
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! NEVER COME BACK! No wonder this place is went down the hill like who would come to get dirty look from the server while you're eating or asking for refill ?? Last visit , we didn't even eat and decided to leave! Never again!!
google avatar

June N.

Yelp
I've always left satisfied. Service is good and seating hasn't been an issue. Parking is easy. We usually get the steamed beef and a soup but they have large menu so you are sure to find something you like. Great option in the area!
google avatar

Kai C.

Yelp
We have been here many times because the food is not bad and it is closer than driving to Duluth. While eating there, we noticed they saved the lettuce from a table that did not eat... I assumed they are saving it to serve to the next sucker ! I would not want to eat left over from other customers.

Yelp
Last review I'll leave for this place. I don't know why we keep coming to this place. It's so bad. Maybe because of the fact that we knew the previous owners. I'm not sure. Came with my wife and my parents. We got our food fairly quickly, but my parents noticed right away after eating the rice that it wasn't cooked all the way through. Uncooked rice, for those that are unfamiliar, when eaten isn't all that noticeable. The difference between cooked and uncooked is the aftertaste. The rice becomes gritty and these little rice bits linger in your mouth. And after that you get the taste of grain in your mouth. We brought this up to the staff to which they said "there's no way that could be". They offered to get us another bowl, but it would be from the same pot so there would have been no point. They actually ended up bringing us new rice (not sure if they just microwaved it or actually cooked up a new pot). By that point too much time had passed so we had lost our appetite. My wife ordered the soft tofu stew. It was thick. Like really really thick. I've never seen it that thick before. It was almost like if you left it in the fridge for like an hour you could scoop it all out in one piece. It was bad. We ended up asking for to-go boxes for everything (within 20 min of us being there) and left. We didn't take the soft tofu stew. It was that bad. The only redeeming factor for this place for me was the katsu sauce. But I was able to find out how they made it and as they say, once you know how the sausage is made... Their clientele seems to be directed to non Koreans at this point. The only Koreans you'll see in there are probably there because they didn't want to cook that night or didn't want to drive all the way to doraville or Duluth. Stay away.

Yelp
This Korean bbq is about as good as it gets from service to their food. We come here often for lunch and it never disappoints. The gal bi is the best I've ever tried anywhere. The spicy pork is also very tasty and just enough spicy. The sides are all authentic and everything else is good as well. Give these people a try you won't be disappointed

Yelp
We enjoyed great food at reasonable prices this New Years Eve at Tofu Village Korean BBQ. Our table of five enjoyed an edamame appetizer, Jhab Chae (sweet potato noodles with beef), Bul Go Ki (marinated beef), Kal bi (short ribs), Took Hae Yang Kook (soup with beef and veggies), and Dwaeji Bul Go Ki (Marinated beef in Bbq sauce). Plus hot sake and plum wine! All was delicious, including the sides with free refills. The Eggplant was surprisingly our favorite side. Our table was relatively private and very comfortable. This was my second visit here and I will be back!

Yelp
Went here for lunch and this place is an incredible value for lunch! 1. Pan Chan include for lunch and staff will refill anything you want 2. I had the stone pot bimbimbap. Veggies and meat were fresh, gave it just a couple minutes to get some nice crackled rice. Sauce came on the side, which was nice 3. Seafood tofu soup was delicious, don't expect world class seafood but for the value, it was great 4. The salad for appetizer is ok, similar to a Japanese restaurant with ginger dressing
google avatar

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
Well prepared dishes. The lunch portion is large. I had the spicy chicken and recommend it. I plan to come back. Delicious!!!!

Y T.

Yelp
No refills on side dishes! She said only my meal comes with sides but my husband's appetizer costs more. If I came alone and ordered one meal and asked for more sides, there wouldn't be an issue? We are never coming back.

Yelp
I loved Tofu Village! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was great! I got the Bulgoki and it was amazing. Seriously. The server was super attentive and always right there when we needed her. Will be back AND will bring more friends!

Yelp
The service was terrible. I could tell they were busy but gave me unresponsive action when I needed something.
google avatar

Yelp
Hard to find good tofu soup in this area. This place is always good! Definitely try it! Take out orders can take a long time though and be sure to order over the phone. They have online orders in their website but they never check it.

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT EAT HERE! 1. Service is absolutely horrible. This was our first time doing Korean BBQ and to get the waitress to explain to us how to order was like pulling teeth. She was extremely rude and essentially hurried us to order. 2. This place is dirty. It's super dingy and yes a cock roach did in fact greet us during our experience. 3. Food was simply OK. Nothing about it was delicious nor was is it absolutely gross. But it definitely was not enough for me to come back... especially with these prices. These previous reviews glorifying the places are absolute lies. It was because of the reviews that got us coming here and it was a decision we instantly regretted.

kasey s.

Yelp
Great food! We did the Korean bbq and it was great. The pork and shrimp were big portions for just two people.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Servers are extremely rude. Their food quality and taste has taken a nose dive. Went there for lunch at 12:30. There was only 2 people eating. That should have been a clear sign for me to leave. Yet ordered food w 3 friends. Dumpling was frozen dumpling you get from hmart (cheap kind). Food was just spicy with Korean pepper without any flavor. Server just seamed pissed off and annoyed from the time we arrived. The only Korean restaurant in my area and it's dismal. Hopefully they get a new management because it's just embarrassing.

Yelp
I was so excited to hear there was a Korean restaurant in Marietta! We were in the area so we decided to check it out. The restaurant decor has a very traditional old school Korean vibe which I liked. The menu has a lot of great options. If you want Korean BBQ make sure you let them know when you first get to the returns they so they can seat you at a Korean BBQ table. If you just want Korean food they can sit you at a normal table. They had a lot of great options for stews, noodles, and different specialty Korean dishes. We ordered the mushroom tofu soup and the Sol Lung Tang. Once you order, they bring you out a little salad which is a nice little starter not typically done at other Korean restaurants. When our food was ready to come out they provided tons of great ban chan (Korean side dishes) to enjoy with our meal. The side dishes were great and the food was good too! It wasn't the best Korean food we've ever had, but for Marietta we were very satisfied. If you haven't had it before, I would definitely recommend the Sol Lung Tang. It is a very tradition Korean dish made with beef broth, noodles, and has tons of green onions. They bring you a little thing of salt for you to mix into your soup so it's to your liking. It's perfect for cold days or if you're feeling a little under the weather. The service here was really great too and everyone was so friendly. We'll definitely be coming by again if we're in the city!

Yelp
I have never experienced such horrible costumer service! Our family decided to go out for lunch to a Korean bbq restaurant since our kids love the grilled marinated short ribs. We enjoyed the authentic dishes at this restaurant. We sat down and order with a friend who has never been to a Korean restaurants. The lady who took our order was smirking at us in disapprovals after we order a marinated short ribs, a rib eye and large stew. She kept saying, "no refills sides." I told her ok. Then she shook her head in disapproving of us and threw the menus on the cart as she walked away. I wondered if it was because we only ordered 2 meats instead of 4. Irrespective of what it was, she didn't take time to explain to us; and she was very nasty about it all. Our family got up, paid for our drinks which we didn't even drink, canceled our orders and left. I enjoyed the food here and that's why I came back with my friend. That was no way to treat your costumer. My family and I are definitely never coming back and so is my friend who got a a horrible treatment from a Korean restaurant.

Yelp
Written on February 7, 2019 [Summary] Tofu Village KBBQ is a casual, quiet restaurant in Marietta that serves nothing but authentic Korean dishes. Its quietness and somewhat dark, yet warm setting makes it a great romantic eating-out experience. It is far from busy, even on weekends, and it is this very quality that allows Tofu Village to offer remarkable service to the guests that do come. It is a great place to eat true Korean food for the locals that do not want to drive an hour to Duluth. They don't serve AYCE KBBQ but rather platters. From the pictures though, the proportions are ample and the cuts of meat they serve here is high quality. [Location] It sits across by Wellstar Atlanta Heart Associates, in the same corner where Queen Bee Tattoo Parlor is situated. The parking spots are ample and you should not have any trouble here. [Atmosphere] Very casual and cutesy. The setting is dim, with the only sources of light are hanging above the tables. Its a relaxing and cozy mood, and the temperature's just right. You can solely focus on the food, the people you've brought, and the experience you'll share here. [Service] If you read the summary, the service here is very good! The ladies that work here are very sweet and attentive. They frequently visit my table, which is good because I keep destroying the banchan! They teach me Hangul too, and are very nice to talk to! [Food] Mixed Soft Tofu Soup (seokk-eo sundubu jiggae): A hot soup with soft tofu, beef, clam, mushroom, and green onion garnish. The soup can be non-spicy, mild, medium, hot. It is served with a bowl of rice and side dishes (banchan). I usually get it the hottest available and eat it with all the banchan. It was so good I got it again on my second visit, and the banchan complements it so well. I was first introduced to this soup at Jang Su Jang, and they know how make a mean soon du bu. Although I still prefer JSJ more, this place is pretty dang good. I'll definitely be here more often, and it's not just because I like to save gas lol. SIDE DISHES (banchan) *Side dishes are free, and you are welcome to ask for more! Braised Potatoes (gamja jorim): Chunks of potatoes braised in soy sauce and other ingredients. A somewhat sweet and salty banchan that's good to eat when your food gets too spicy LOL. Very delicious! It's one of my favorite sides. Fermented Cabbages (kimchi): Fermented cabbages with seasoning, a staple in Korean food! It has a bit of tang, but it's definitely not close to spicy. I never really liked kimchi, but this I definitely eat! Spicy Cucumber Salad (oi-muchim): Sliced cucumbers that is sweet, spicy, and sour. This is also one of my favorite sides here. It is a great blend of tastes, and the cucumbers have a slight crunch to it! Tofu Village really know what it's doing. Eggplants (gaji): I forgot if it's stir fried or steamed, but it's good enough. I don't eat Korean style eggplants too often, but I don't mind it either! Broccoli Salad: Chunks of broccoli that has a slight crunch and a drizzle of sauce (gochujang?) on it. Fun to crunch on. Soy Bean Sprouts (kongnamul): Also fun to crunch on! Not sure how to describe it, but it's good! -- Tofu Village is pretty awesome. They might pale in comparison against other restaurants in Duluth, but they offer something special that makes me keep wanting to come back.

Yelp
The customer service was terrible. They didn't give me water in the beginning. Since we had two people, they didn't want us to order a combination, pressuring the customer to order more as well.

Yelp
AMAZING!! Our tummy was very happy. We got the beef and jumbo shrimp bbq...so tasty. We also had the tofu beef stew!! Seasoned just spicy enough - hits you right after the second spoon of broth. Especially happy with the time of day - around 1 on a Saturday. Social distancing was easy. Felt safe. The staff was attentive. The sides were fresh. My daughter was happy. We forgot to take pics :( We ate it all and had extra sides.

Yelp
Went for a date lunch with my boyfriend. The restaurant was pretty empty due to Covid but the staff was attentive.. they told us about all the restaurant had to offer and the side dishes that we would be having with our food Overall it was a good experience and the food was pretty tasty

Yelp
I went to this place several times in a month, because it's the one of the few korean resturant near the area. The service was terrible and the waitress gave me dirty look when I ordered a togo, because they were busy... I will not come back.

Yelp
I was craving Korean BBQ but didn't want to drive an hour to Duluth so we decided to try this place out. It's a lot closer to home and the food was good. Came on a Sunday around noon. No wait, plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. Meat seemed fresh and flavorful. The only thing I wish they offered? Meat combos. We ended up ordering the bulgogi and short ribs. It came with plenty of sides like kimchi, potatoes, rice, veggies and more. They use coal for their grill so that's a plus. Service was really good. Two ladies checked up on us a lot and were very attentive with refilling sides and drinks. The decor is super cute and relaxing.

Yelp
Worst costumer service ever. Wouldn't recommend at all. This place has rude people and bland food, literally found mold on my food and a fly in my drink.

Yelp
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Stopped by here for the first time and hadn't tried Korean food in a while, but oh was it good. I ordered the spicy bbq pork and it came out sizzling to the table. The flavors were so well balanced and the fermented sides paired perfectly with the pork. If you don't know Korean food, you won't understand the fermented sides - but everything balances together, while being different and unique. 100% would go again

Yelp
It was the best meal that I have ever had. I went with my group of friends to celebrate my boys birthday. Amazing soon tofu, kimchi pancake, naengmyeon ever! It was incredible. Waitress was amazing!

Yelp
I cannot speak to the authenticity because I'm not Korean nor have I ever been to South Korea but I'm guessing it's pretty close because of the customers. Koreans were eating there themselves so I think that is a pretty good sign. Apparently, you should make reservations to eat there but my friend and I didn't but we came at a perfect time. When I first arrived, there was only a couple eating there at a regular table. However, as time progressed, the restaurant began to fill quickly. People seem to eat here in groups. My friend and I chose the barbecue option and you sit around a little grill. It was almost surreal to have the server who seemed more like a grandma chop our vegetables and fresh meat on the grill. I ordered a tofu appetizer and she seemed hurt that I did not eat it all. Here is the thing, the proportions are HUGE. There is no way one person can eat it all. Ok, maybe one person could but the tofu slices were the size of my hand and there were four of them! I ate two which was a feat in itself. I chose the chicken dish but the next time I go, I'm getting shrimp because my friend's shrimp was so good! I tried foods that I have never tried before like fish cake and was pleasantly surprised. The rice was good and I worked hard to eat everything with chopsticks. That was fun. Parking is ample and the restaurant is pretty easy to get to from the highway. I'm glad that I don't have to drive all the way to Duluth to get a decent Korean barbecue.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza and there is a quaint outdoor seating area, although the benches don't look too comfortable for seating. The interior is nothing fancy but not a hole in a wall either. Came here on a Friday but it was not busy and it made the restaurant look and feel cold and not very inviting. The fact that there's a grill right there on the table didn't warm up the atmosphere. For entrees we tried spicy squid and duck, both cooked on the grill. The dishes came with many banchan dishes, lettuce leafs, and white rice (sadly, no brown rice option). Overall it was ok but nothing like Korean bbq places in Duluth. Here the waitress wanted to cook our duck until well done and we had to sneak it off the grill early before she destroyed it. Overall: berr and wine only, service was ok, atmosphere was also ok. I doubt I'll go back though and would rather drive to Duluth next time the craving strikes.
