A real highlight is the small, yet transparent, open kitchen, which allows you to watch the father-and-son duo meticulously preparing your sushi – a testament to their dedication behind the craft. But of course, the real star of the show is the food. From the moment your order arrives, it's clear that this restaurant prides itself on using very fresh ingredients. Every piece of sushi is a testament to this commitment – the fish gleams with top quality, and the vegetables are crisp and vibrant. i got the salmon poke bowl and was very pleased with the taste and the quality of the fish and veggies. however, the portions were insanely small, especially for $17. definitely felt hungry after. would recommend other rolls, but they were a bit overpriced as well.

I’m the weird person that loves sushi, but only the cooked ones. Tokyo Sushi had a great fresh selection and the service was great. I asked for help trying to find the cooked sushi and was shown pictures and given explanations about what the rolls were!

The Shoppes - where the restaurant is located is tucked away just behind the post office on Germantown ave. It took a few minutes to find the entrance. Tokyo Sushi is one aisle in and right at the corner. I ordered a fantastic trio of shrimp. Shumai, shrimp tempura and Hawaiian Mango shrimp. Pleasant service, prepared quickly and every bite was perfect!
