Tom Yum Thai Bell AZ

This is definitely a one and done for us. There were four of us and two ended up getting sick. The pad Thai tasted burnt so we only ate a couple bites of it. It was truly a very strange flavor for pad Thai. The combo platter was best described as greasy. The pho and the crab fried rice were the best tasting things we ordered. However, the rice was eaten by the two of us that got sick. We paid $150 for four of us and it was one of the worst meals we’ve eaten in Surprise.

I've been looking for a good yellow curry since moving to this part of town. Tom Yum's customizes the spice level and is nice and creamy. I didn't like the taste of the carrots on their own but everything together tastes great. The portion size and rice to curry ratio is perfect. I loved the decorations and it was nice and quiet inside with good service.

Tom Yum Thai is such a cute little spot with a cozy, homey vibe. They have a ton of options on the menu, which made it hard to choose, but we ended up going with the Pad Thai with shrimp, beef and green beans, and the Penang curry. Everything was super flavorful and came in great portions, so we were able to share between the three of us and still had leftovers to take home (which tasted just as good the next day). They also have a nice beer selection, which was a bonus. The lady who took care of us was really sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Even though we’re from California, this place has become one of our go-tos whenever we’re visiting family in Arizona. Definitely worth a stop!

Love this place! Great flavor, great service, very friendly locals. I stopped in for dinner after making the drive from Phoenix to handle a task. I had the Coconut Soup with tofu& extra veggies. Jasmine tea, hot. Great! Then I proceeded to devour the Massaman Curry with chicken. It was so good that I overate. It's a long drive--more than an hour from home--but I will be back, with friends. A comfy environment and quiet. Locals dining there greeted me warmly. A great place to have a first date or to talk quietly. Clean. Highly recommend!❤️

Huge portions and amazing flavor. Our group ordered panang curry and orange chicken. The orange chicken comes as a massive portion and it’s super crispy and fresh white meat with great orange sauce. I would probably order this for 2-3 people it’s so huge. I’ll come back and try the Hawaiian fried rice next time.

I started by washing my hands, The state of the bathroom was reasonably acceptable, however what is absolutely not acceptable is watering down the had soap to the point it is totally ineffective for its intended purpose. It makes me ask serious questions about the management, that they think that is okay. How clean are the hands of the employees that have to use the restroom and use that soap to wash up? It was blatant. It was not the only thing that seemed watered down, the sweet and sour sauce was to, also the curry was similarly runny and flavorless. The chicken was also suspiciously absent in its amount. Between that and the burnt veggie roll, I am not sure what to make of this place. But it feels pretty steep for what you get. The curry was ordered at a 3 but was more like a zero. Barely tasted any spice or heat at all. The veggies were mush, totally inedible. I would never serve any one this food if ran a restaurant, I’d be embarrassed… I will not be returning. They did nothing to make it write, wasted most of the food.

Delicious food and the folks that work here are very friendly. Will be back again soon! Certainly enjoyed the Massaman curry!

We used to really like this place but hadn't been in for a few years. Decided to get take out for dinner and we were very disappointed. My veggies and chicken in the Broccoli Delight were way overcooked. My husband's green curry was sugary sweet and the mix of flavors was odd. Their veggie spring rolls used to be my favorite but those weren't good either (overly greasy and they've changed the filling). It was all "barely edible".
