Tom Yum Thai Bell AZ

This is a hidden gem. The food was phenomenal. The service was fantastic. The place was nice and clean and comfortable. I got pad thai w/ chicken at spice level Thai Hot and every bite was delicious. My wife got the chow mein w/ shrimp and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The portions were large too. We both only ate about half or less so we could have shared one entree. We will be going back here every time we crave Thai food from now on.

This is definitely a one and done for us. There were four of us and two ended up getting sick. The pad Thai tasted burnt so we only ate a couple bites of it. It was truly a very strange flavor for pad Thai. The combo platter was best described as greasy. The pho and the crab fried rice were the best tasting things we ordered. However, the rice was eaten by the two of us that got sick. We paid $150 for four of us and it was one of the worst meals we’ve eaten in Surprise.

I've been looking for a good yellow curry since moving to this part of town. Tom Yum's customizes the spice level and is nice and creamy. I didn't like the taste of the carrots on their own but everything together tastes great. The portion size and rice to curry ratio is perfect. I loved the decorations and it was nice and quiet inside with good service.

Tom Yum Thai is such a cute little spot with a cozy, homey vibe. They have a ton of options on the menu, which made it hard to choose, but we ended up going with the Pad Thai with shrimp, beef and green beans, and the Penang curry. Everything was super flavorful and came in great portions, so we were able to share between the three of us and still had leftovers to take home (which tasted just as good the next day). They also have a nice beer selection, which was a bonus. The lady who took care of us was really sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Even though we’re from California, this place has become one of our go-tos whenever we’re visiting family in Arizona. Definitely worth a stop!

Love this place! Great flavor, great service, very friendly locals. I stopped in for dinner after making the drive from Phoenix to handle a task. I had the Coconut Soup with tofu& extra veggies. Jasmine tea, hot. Great! Then I proceeded to devour the Massaman Curry with chicken. It was so good that I overate. It's a long drive--more than an hour from home--but I will be back, with friends. A comfy environment and quiet. Locals dining there greeted me warmly. A great place to have a first date or to talk quietly. Clean. Highly recommend!❤️

We were in the mood for some pad Thai or green curry when we stopped in for lunch. We went for the green curry (mild) with chicken and I could not have been more impressed with the flavor and quality. I’ve had lots of green curry and this was among the best I’ve had! My only complaint was that, because we asked for a seat not in the sun, we were seated around the corner, which had the result of our waitress rarely stopping by because we were out of sight. She was friendly enough when she stopped by, though, and the foot came out quick and fresh. I would definitely stop again!

Huge portions and amazing flavor. Our group ordered panang curry and orange chicken. The orange chicken comes as a massive portion and it’s super crispy and fresh white meat with great orange sauce. I would probably order this for 2-3 people it’s so huge. I’ll come back and try the Hawaiian fried rice next time.

Food order picked up. Fresh spring rolls were almost all lettuce. Angel wings were tiny. Pad thai was so so. Maybe a new owner? Bar area was filthy. Needs to be revamped. Patio was untidy. Lots of weeds.
