Informal strip-mall outpost dishing out heaping bowls of ramen & rice dishes, plus beer & sake.
"Tomi is tucked away in an easy-to-miss location but its vegan and vegetarian bowls are warming, as is its Naruto, a bowl named for the cult-favorite anime. The rest of the menu displays a clear Korean influence (think bulgogi fries and kimchi-heavy rice bowls) plus a few sushi rolls. The bulgogi ramen is especially flavorful with bulgogi broth, marinated sliced beef, and garlic crunch." - Janna Karel
"Tomi Ramen & Sake Bar offers a compact menu of Japanese favorites in a 1,432 square feet space at the Paseo Plaza. The venue features counter-service and table seating, with appetizers like $5 takoyaki, $6 fried baby octopus, $5 chicken karaage, and $6 soft shell crab. Ramen dishes are priced at $8.50, offering tonkotsu, shoyu, miso, or vegetable base options with ingredients like chashu, chicken breast, and tofu, with spice levels from “zero” to “super spice.” Extra toppings and rice bowls are available, and hot sake is offered in $4 and large $7 servings. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Bradley Martin
