Tommy's is one of the iconic Columbus pizza places. It's been on Lane Avenue at several locations forever. This might be the "classiest" of the locations. It's pretty close to lots of OSU attractions. This is the busiest during the football season.
It has similarities to local rivals like Donatos and Iacano's. Just in case you didn't know, Tommy Iacano opened this place. They specialize in a cracker thin crust, which is popular for some reason. It's not my kind of pizza. Luckily they have good subs. Inside it looks pretty old looking and has been there forever. It has several dining areas inside. There's a private area that's good for parties. It has a pretty standard pizza and sub menu. They also have beer on tap. It's not much of a selection, but you have a few choices. There's Bud Light, CBC, and Molson. It's about $3 a pint. It comes in a plastic mug. This feels kind of cheap, but it adds to the charm. I had a vegetable sub. It's about $7 for the full size. This comes with cheese that I left off, Italian dressing, mushrooms, peppers, and tomatoes.
It's more family friendly compared to the location closer to campus. It's still a good option for a game day meal. This has a ridiculously cramped parking lot and it's hard to get out.
