Tonno Gloucester

Owen was fantastic.. explained the nuances of the food and just great host.. Food was very good.. Loved that we were able to customize entrees! One of the best in town no doubt

We were greeted with a smile and upbeat attitude and we were asked if our table was to our satisfaction. Our waiter Ezio was very knowledgeable about the menu and fully explained all the dishes we were interested in. The Shrimp appetizer he recommended was amazing! The pasta was fresh and the sausage was delicious. The risotto was cheesy and delicate with fresh asparagus. Wish we had room for dessert. Cappuccino and expresso were spot on . Give it a try!

Had a great meal and experience! We ordered the olives and half dozen oysters for starters. Had the ribeye and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare and so flavorful. Also the veal was very tasty too. Highly recommend and I will be going back for sure!

We attended a wedding there lastnight and it was pure magic ! I didn’t know they offered this but I am so happy they do! The moment we walked in it was magical. Every detail was perfect. The atmosphere, every detail on the table like the roses, glitter & candles everything was so special. The food of course was perfection! You have incredible and kind waitstaff. Our server was attentive and she made us feel special even with such a large group. If you are looking for an intimate and special place for a wedding this is your place ! Thank you for making my friend (the bride) feel so special and loved !

Everything we get here has been fantastic. We first discovered this restaurant the day we got legally married, then we asked them to cater our wedding and we’ve frequently either taken friends or have ordered delivery when people are in town. Everyone we’ve experienced Tonno with has also been super impressed. The staff is always very attentive and super kind. Never disappointed in anything we’ve ever had. The restaurant is nice without being stuffy-nice and they have a nice outdoor area when the weather is right for it. They always have their own parking lot! Don’t skip the desserts!!

I didn't usually give 5 stars across the board but this place was fantastic!!!! Oysters were the freshest I've had recently, food was on point!!!! I got the tuna steak with an additional side of the white beans. I was so happy with my choice. I plan to return next time I'm in Gloucester. I can't remember our servers name but his recommendations and patience was much appreciated and worked out in the best possible ways. I was there with my 2 kids and niece and everybody left happy and satisfied. Server was tall with glasses and he was excellent!!!!!!

Tonno was great. We ordered the Caesar salad, mushroom risotto, and mussels for starters. Everything was flavorful and delicious. For mains we had the bolognese and Sunday sauce. The Sunday sauce was rich and the meatballs were perfect. The bolognese was much different than others I’ve had, unfortunately not one of my favorites. However the homemade pasta was very good. Our server was attentive and welcoming.

My wife and I ate dinner here on 8/12/25. Excellent meal and service, and reasonably priced. Our server Owen was very knowledgeable about every item on the menu. I ordered the Fried Zucchini Flowers and Veal Milanese. My wife ordered the Risotto appetizer. Luckily we decided to only have the Zucchini for our appetizer and have the Risotto and Veal for our dinners. The Risotto was delicious. And was definitely enough for dinner. The Veal was enough for two meals. Ended up taking half of it for lunch the next day. Reason for 3 Atmosphere stars? Very noisy with everyone trying to talk over everyone else. They also had music playing but you really couldn't hear it - just the thumping of the drums... One suggestion! Keep your bottles of Limoncello in the freezer instead of the fridge. I was going to have some after dinner but after hearing that it was only refrigerated, decided to pass...
