Owen was fantastic.. explained the nuances of the food and just great host.. Food was very good.. Loved that we were able to customize entrees! One of the best in town no doubt

Had a great meal and experience! We ordered the olives and half dozen oysters for starters. Had the ribeye and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare and so flavorful. Also the veal was very tasty too. Highly recommend and I will be going back for sure!

We attended a wedding there lastnight and it was pure magic ! I didn’t know they offered this but I am so happy they do! The moment we walked in it was magical. Every detail was perfect. The atmosphere, every detail on the table like the roses, glitter & candles everything was so special. The food of course was perfection! You have incredible and kind waitstaff. Our server was attentive and she made us feel special even with such a large group. If you are looking for an intimate and special place for a wedding this is your place ! Thank you for making my friend (the bride) feel so special and loved !

Everything we get here has been fantastic. We first discovered this restaurant the day we got legally married, then we asked them to cater our wedding and we’ve frequently either taken friends or have ordered delivery when people are in town. Everyone we’ve experienced Tonno with has also been super impressed. The staff is always very attentive and super kind. Never disappointed in anything we’ve ever had. The restaurant is nice without being stuffy-nice and they have a nice outdoor area when the weather is right for it. They always have their own parking lot! Don’t skip the desserts!!

Tonno was great. We ordered the Caesar salad, mushroom risotto, and mussels for starters. Everything was flavorful and delicious. For mains we had the bolognese and Sunday sauce. The Sunday sauce was rich and the meatballs were perfect. The bolognese was much different than others I’ve had, unfortunately not one of my favorites. However the homemade pasta was very good. Our server was attentive and welcoming.

5-Star Review – Exceptional Service & Food at Tonne We had an amazing experience at Tonno in Gloucester! From the moment we walked in, without a reservation on a busy Friday night in August, the team made us feel welcome and somehow found us a table. Our waitress, Lindsay, was outstanding—warm, attentive, and incredibly quick on her feet. We arrived with just 5 minutes left in happy hour, but Lindsay made it happen, getting our happy hour order in right away so we could enjoy oysters, mussels, shrimp, rice balls, and tuna tacos at a discounted price. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For our mains, we had zucchini flowers, shrimp scampi, swordfish with white beans and orzo, and a pasta dish reminiscent of cacio e pepe. Each one was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served with care. Between the outstanding service, excellent food, and the welcoming atmosphere, Tonno exceeded our expectations. We left happy, full, and planning our next visit. Highly recommend—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Lindsay as your server!

It's 5 star dining and service! The food was excellent, as was the service! They were super busy, and they did not miss a beat! Alex, our bartender, was amazing. She was attentive and made great food and drink suggestions. We only had appetizers, and both were spectacular!

Remarkable service and food. The best seafood meal I’ve ever had. Came for $1 oysters from 4-5 pm and stayed for dinner. Tuna is bluefin from the harbor. Swordfish best ever. Great for GF diners. Sarah was one of the best servers we’ve ever had.
