I have always loved Tonno's. Its a big part of our family and it has always been a great experience until yesterday. That is why it was so much of a surprise and after seeing how everything was handled our views have vastly changed. We looked past the rude interaction about showing up 20 minutes early for a reservation because we were happy to get a drink at the bar while we waited, we just wanted to get parking. Our server was great to start when a drink was not good, she hapilly brought something different. It got much worse from there. One meal was very incorrect and another dish was completely missing from the table. When this was brought to the staffs' attention they offered to bring the missing dish packaged to-go and I told them I could bring the other dish home at that point to take the time myself to cook it accordingly since everyone else in the party finished eating already and I wasn't going to make them wait after it took so long to even have an opportunity to tell the staff it was wrong even after numerous times trying to flag them down. I was insanely disappointed to see both dishes still on the bill thinking one might be removed for the gross inaccuracies. They asked if I wanted to speak to management and I said I would. When our server returned, instead of a manager, she had a tiny bag of pre-made to go drinks as a resolution saying it was the best she could do. While I understand that was true for her personally, it was not true for management. I will not be returning, and we will happily bring our business to the other amazing restaurants in Gloucester and recommend you do as well.
