Yelp
Choosing a star rating is difficult, because there were things I liked, the staff, the ambiance, the cleanliness, the wait time, the portion sizes, that I don't want to be effected by what I didn't like, ie: the food.
So let's talk about the food.
Mozzarella sticks:
These are good size mozzarella sticks. An order came with 6 of them stacked like Lincoln logs, they were dusted with Parmesan and oregano, came with two marinara sauces and one ranch dressing. The ranch was wonderful. The marinara sauce was served warm, but was too thin. The mozzarella sticks themselves were slightly over cooked, (Gordon Ramsey would have called someone a donkey over them) with light scorch patches and mozzarella explosions from too long in the fryer. These were still delicious and the best thing we had at Tony C's.
Individual lasagna:
This didn't seem like an individually made lasagna, more like a slice of lasagna taken from a sheet. Only half of the lasagna had meat on it. The sauce tasted like spaghetti o's and the entire thing was overall pretty bland. The roll that came with the lasagna looked promising but was dense and doughy, like the kitchen had run out of yeast. It was a disappointment.
The pizza:
We ordered the large Primo pie and let me say, the size didn't disappoint. The crust, however, for a thin-crust pizza, was chewy and not crunchy like I would have expected. The toppings were well distributed but the pie was lacking in cheese and even sauce. The primo comes with caramelized onions, but in Tony C world, that means lightly sautéed, and again, the whole pie missed on flavor, even the sausage which tasted like hamburger meat's first cousin.
All in all, I would probably recommend for an after-game get together for a group, but not a place to go if you're craving good pizza.
