Tony G’s Pizza

One of coolest local pizza restaurant I have been. Looks so modern, with bright color and wooden, it’s was a delight to dine-in at their restaurant. There are lots of tables available to sit, a TV in the corner, couple of fridges in the corners for drinks. Bunch of pizzas are already available to get the slices. We got few plain slices and half a dozen of garlic knots. It was brought to our table within couple of minutes. Semi thin pizza crust with lots of cheese on them. Garlic knots were soft and fluffy alongside delicious marinara sauce.

Food is always great from here. We just ordered the Sicilian within the last few weeks and had it delivered...WHOA! That hit the spot for the entire family. It was better than expected. We haven't ordered any other pizza from anywhere else ever since. Waiting for payday and gonna order another one 😅. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I stopped by here to get a quick bite. I had a slice and some garlic knots, which were pretty good. The associate working behind the counter was very generous and kept checking to see if everything was good. Thank you!

Super disappointed with the LACK of communication about the order of garlic knots that were supposed to arrive with my pizza this evening. After chasing information for AN HOUR AND A HALF OF CALLING I’m told that my garlic knot order was REFUNDED without my knowledge. BROCCOLI BITES without explanation ARE NOT A VIABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR GARLIC KNOTS.

Stumbled on this gem today. Ordered: (did not share with anyone) Amazing flavor and FRESH) Boujee Cutlet Sandwich Crispy chicken cutlet, prosciutto, spinach, fresh mozzarella. Also we had a cheesesteak Stromboli which also was excellent. Clean establishment is huge for me but this place was that and delicious. We will be back sooner than later. Excellent job chef and staff.

Everything has been great so far. Our new go-to for delivery pizza. Loved the rollatini white pie and garlic parm wings. I prefer to order it well done for crispy crust.

Ever since Tony G’s had open, I’ve been going there on a daily basis and it seems they can’t keep me away. Tony G’s food is very appetizing and different compare to other pizza places that I’ve gone too or know of in Medford. Their Services are awesome, very kind, and have great patience.

We have had several pizzas, wings, Italian hoagies, and other appetizers from here. We were looking for a good pizza place since were kinda of new to the area. We have tried several others in the area. This is our new Pizza joint. Everything we have had has been amazing. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I always order for pick up and my food has always been ready when they said. And every order has been correct. Prices are good, and parking is decent. So glad I found our new pizza joint.

It takes a very confident and talented pizza maker to make a tomato pie, let alone various version of it. My personal favorite is the grandma pie and my favorite "regular" pizza is just plain old cheese with extra cheese (again, a testament to the sauce). So many in this area have accepted the most mundane of pizza's because there's some weird cult following for a local staple because people refuse to try anything new around here. I can't encourage more that anyone step outside their "spot" and to let Tony G's win you over. I could eat from here every night and be wholly fulfilled and happy - all the dishes across the board. The owner's daughter is almost always at the register and makes sure you're fully taken care of. On top of that they have a TV on for the customers all the time so you never have to feel bored whether you're eating in or ordering slices for take out. Trust me, let them heat up your slices and don't take them home to toast because their ovens are so well seasoned that your appliance could never live up to the flavor of their ovens.

This pizza shop is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great and other times not so much. If you like sweeter pizza sauce this place is your jam. Their prices have gone up drastically. I understand the market fluctuates. The plain is usually what we get from here. I've had a bunch of cheesesteaks but the roll is always soggy. The meat can be gristly. The corn nuggets are good.

Great local spot for pizza. Nice staff. Spacious dining area. Food comes out quick. Plain pizza is good. Restaurant is clean. Bathroom is clean.

This was my first time at Tony G's since my first and only visit when they first opened. The inside of the restaurant looks completely different (in a great way) from the way it looked prior to Tony G's taking over. I actually wrote them off because the pizza was undercooked, doughy, and bland. I recently heard that their pizza quality greatly improved from when they originally opened and knew I needed to give them another chance. Today was the perfect day. I work from home and my company gave my team DoorDash credits for a team lunch. I placed an order for a large pie, half plain and half onions. The order completion was set for 15-25 minutes and Tony G's had my pie ready in 15 minutes. The pie traveled from restaurant to my home in a box, so the pictures and the review are of a pie that is not immediately out of the oven (which we all know pizza right from the oven and not enclosed in a box is optimal). The person working the counter was kind and professional hearing how she interacted with the costumers in front of me. I left instructions on my order for the pie to be cooked Well Done. It ended up being cooked very nicely. Crust was crisp and the pie had a good cheese to sauce ratio. I was very pleased with my order and my experience with Tony G's. I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not giving them another chance sooner but now I know there's another pizzeria in town that I enjoy. Will definitely be back again.

Stopped in yesterday with my brother looking forward to the great cheesesteaks they used to have. Not anymore. They used Liscio's rolls before. This time it was a dense, chewy roll (similar to store bought amoroso), not optimal for a cheesesteak. Meat was ok but not as flavorful as it once was. It was sub-par at best. I would rate it somewhere between a Wawa cheesesteak and run of the mill pizza place that uses frozen quick steaks. It's pretty disappointing because this was my go-to spot for cheesesteaks when I lived in Medford. They kept their prices up and moved way down on the quality of the food. It's a greedy move and the reason I won't be returning.

Can we just stop with these raving reviews? I tried this place after visiting Yelp, and I would've thought this place was some kind of hidden gem with the greatest cheesesteaks in the world. Well I hate to burst your bubble, but this place's cheesesteaks are on par with wawa. This was one of the driest cheesesteaks I've ever had. There was absolutely nothing special about it. I'm assuming many of the reviews here are written by friends/family of the owners because there's no way this many people would speak so highly about this cheesesteak, especially with so many places to get a decent cheesesteak around here. I also ordered a Stromboli, which is why I gave this place 2 stars and not 1. The extra star is based just on the size of the Stromboli. Besides that, the sauce was way too sweet and some of the boli seemed undercooked. I just needed to be honest in this review, because it seems like every other review here seems super dishonest. Safe to say, I won't be visiting this place again.

Tony G's steak sandwiches and pizza's are delicious, this is our go to place when we want to order.

Pizza is pretty good but small in size and priced higher than others in town. Biggest complaint is the up charge for using a credit card with no prominent signage. They tell you one price but then if you hand over a card, they add the surcharge with no warning. Not ok. Credit card charges should be at the expense of the business, not the customer. Part of owning a business in 2024. Leaves a bad taste, especially when it's not announced verbally ahead of time.

Customer service is a lot to be desires. Stood in the dining room for 15 minutes waiting to order 2 slices for my kids. didn't even get acknowledged by the staff. If they merely said "i'm sorry for the delay, we are busy" would have been all that would have been needed. I even asked if they had time to take my kid's order and they said "No". Irony is that I love their pizza but will never return. We went to tried and true Pappa Johns (which isn't 'real south jersey pizza... ) but the kids love it and they answer the phone, are kind when you walk in, and deliver the product exactly when promised.

This place is fantastic and is now my go to pizza place. The sauce is sweet and I'd you get a hynoptic aka swirl pizza, you'd be hard pressed to find a better pie in SJ. Order it well done for the best taste. The cheesesteaks, wings, and other sandwiches we've tried are all fantastic as well.

Excellent--our favorite place in Medford. excellent pizza and sandwiches. the buffalo chicken and cheesesteak eggrolls are delicious. wings are great. nice people, as well. Really happy with Tony G's.

Food is consistent and delicious. Delivery, dine in and take out never disappoint. They always get our order right. Super friendly staff also. Highly recommend.

Tried them for the first time tonight ... pleasantly surprised! This appears to be a hidden gem. Cheesesteaks are better than you'll get from 80-90% of other places, very filling with quality steak and rolls. French fries were outstanding. I look forward to trying out their other items.

Had 2 Buffalo Chicken pizza slices a few weeks ago - excellent! Highly recommend - ample pizza slice, crispy crust.

VERY VERY good steak sandwiches! My cheese steak hoagie had all the necessary ingredients of a good hoagie--lots of lettuce-tomato-raw red onion-oil vinegar and oregano combined with a good cheesesteak! My lunch partner's pizza steak he found very enjoyable!

They have the best pizza's and cheesesteaks. The cheesesteak with everything on it is so good!!!! Also the cheesesteak wrap is awesome. I gave them 5 stars , I will definitely order again

Hands down best cheesesteak in Medford!! I was partial to a place on the outskirts of town but that place changed owners. This is a real meat cheesesteak unlike others in town that have no beef flavor!! Their red sauce is also amazing on whatever it's on.

Oil for the French fries have not been changed for days making them like eating rocks . Pizza was just so so.

Very disappointed in both Tony G's and Slice after my last order on 8/24/23. I always order regular coke when I place an order and unfortunately on more than one occasion, Tony G's seems to run out of coke for my order. When I received this last order, the delivery person had cherry coke instead of regular coke with him. I had him bring the soda back to Tony G's and in a few minutes I received a call from Tony G's asking if I wanted a different soda as they ran out of regular coke. I told the girl on the phone to just credit my order. Today, 8/25, I checked my account and the refund for the coke, $3.75, was not there. I called Tony G's and was told that Slice would have to handle the refund. I called Slice and was told that someone from Tony G's had just called them earlier that day - basically they didn't even call slice until I called that my refund was not showing on my account - and that it would take between 3-5 days to be refunded. I had an issue with Slice another time before in not getting my order correct when I ordered from another pizza place and at that time when I asked for a refund, the other pizza place automatically refunded me the amount right then. I was ordering from Tony's on a semi-regular basis since moving to Medford two years ago and this week, I even ordered on Monday and on Thursday. Unfortunately, won't be using slice or ordering from Tony G's again since they are both at fault for the way my order was handled.
