"You’re in Times Square. This isn’t the night to be classy. Have a New York tourist experience at Tony’s Di Napoli where the chandeliers are tacky, and the tablecloths are red-checkered. Just like at the original uptown location, the Italian food hits the spot. Caesars and parm are served tableside, and the pasta is heaping and al dente. Tony’s is great for a not-so-serious group." - bryan kim, sonal shah, will hartman, molly fitzpatrick, ciera velarde, arden shore
"Family-style Italian restaurant offering large, shareable home-cooked portions—an ideal choice for family gatherings and groups looking for hearty, traditional Italian fare." - Rachel Chang Rachel Chang Rachel Chang is a travel and pop culture journalist who contributes to Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, and more. "Come For: Good times, al dente spaghetti, and parmesan shakers on the table. With its dangling chandeliers, checkered tablecloths, and deceptive photo of Frank Sinatra in an Italian restaurant that isn’t Tony’s, Tony’s is just the right amount of tacky. Caesar salads and chicken parm are served with tableside flair, and the spaghetti and meatballs or rigatoni alla vodka are always al dente, with pungent sauce. Just keep in mind that portions here are gargantuan. Cruise ship-big, and windowless enough to host a corporate conference, this family-style spot (which has just one other location, on the Upper East Side) is like Bucca di Beppo, if the food at Bucca di Beppo was really, really good." - bryan kim, willa moore, will hartman, ciera velarde, molly fitzpatrick
"Once we tried all the chain restaurants in Times Square and ranked them—and Tony’s DiNapoli won by a landslide. It’s the kind of Italian spot where you’ll always go home with chicken parm leftovers, even if you gather round with your seven closest friends. With its dangling chandeliers and red-checkered tablecloths, it’s the perfect amount of tacky—and the food is actually pretty good. Come for a fun, family-style meal, and always get the tableside caesar." - willa moore, bryan kim, matt tervooren
"The popular Italian restaurant made a name serving family style, so it’s a natural for large parties, and a bargain at $49.95 for the Thanksgiving menu. It kicks off with pasta e fagioli soup or salad, and includes roast turkey with sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce, followed by apple crisp dessert. For those who can’t resist the fried calamari or chicken Parm, the a la carte menu will also be available." - Beth Landman
