Tony’s Pizza - Review - Cebu City - Cebu - The Infatuation

"Tony’s is doing classic thin-crust pizza really, really well. Pepperoni, mushrooms, Italian sausage—these are the slices you actually want, baked to crisp-edged perfection with just the right chew. The neighborhood shop’s facade is softened by climbing plants, and the bright red door leads you straight to these no-nonsense pies that you can eat in large, unapologetic bites. But that’s not to say they don’t dabble in the unconventional, and their weekly specials fill in that gap nicely. We’ve seen spicy beef bulgogi, mac and cheese, even quesabirria—drizzle your pick with hot honey and call it a day. All for under $5, just as nature intended." - Chandra Joshua

Great pizza! I had pepperoni, cheese, and Italian sausage. The sausage one had yoghurt ranch and was my favorite, and the hot honey sauce was the perfect complement. Wanted to try their garlic knots, but they had run out before 6 PM. Staff were helpful. Cutting the pizza with the wooden utensils was tricky, but they did slice one in half for me when I asked. Classic pizza joint energy with the red-and-white setup, though the space feels a bit tight. There’s a CLAYGO policy, but our table still had crumbs and paper trash left from previous diners. The door can be hard to open, with the cashier having to help customers a couple of times. Some young vendors also came inside, and staff didn’t seem to mind.

Arrived 5:40 to an empty restaurant, a few minutes after ordering and sitting, the restaurant was fully booked and the line for ordering got long ( a lot had to order for to go ) so be early to dine in. The garlic knots are delicious! Very savory and soft but crunchy. Service is really quick when the flavors are ready, but if you have specific orders and they run out it can take 10-15 min for service. The space is homey although a bit tight, superb neighborhood pizza store vibes which I appreciate. I recommend the italian sausage pizza and some garlic knots! My wife said the pepperoni is alright, the special pizza is a bit spicy. 5* for its price, overall I would say it's 4* pizza.

We were hungry after shopping some long fins in Bad Fish Dive Gear. This place was right across Prutasan ni Adan and it's a tiny space. I didnt know this place exists until my friend recommended that we eat here. We got four different slices of pizza, my personal choice was that one with "italian" something on the label (i forgot the whole thing). When you add ranch and hot honey on it, oh boy it was amazing! Their truffle and four cheese slices were also good! I would definitely come back and have some of that hot honey goodness!

Food: Their thin-crust pizza comes highly recommended, based on online reviews, so my expectations were quite high. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed to receive a reheated pizza, and I found the overall flavor to be underwhelming. However, their in-house sauce provided a good complement, significantly enhancing the taste of the pizza. Place: The dining area is quite small, so if you arrive during peak hours, you may find it difficult to get a table and might have to resort to taking your food to go. Overall: It's a decent option for first-timers, but be prepared for potential dining challenges during busy periods. No dedicated parking area, you’d have to park on the sides.

A cozy place serving fresh pizza! You can't go wrong with their Cheese Pizza. Also tried their Italian Sausage Pizza and it was crazy delicious! Worth a try when you're in the area.

A friend of mine had been raving about this pizza spot, saying it was so good especially when freshly made and still hot. Naturally, I was curious, so we decided to give it a try yesterday. While I can definitely see the potential, our experience was a bit of a mixed bag—mostly because of the timing and a few small issues. When we got our pizza, it wasn’t exactly fresh-out-of-the-oven hot, and I think that really affected the texture and overall experience. The crust had already cooled down and became a bit tough and chewy—hunit na gyud sya. We were given a disposable knife and fork, which unfortunately couldn’t handle the pizza at all. It was really hard to slice through the crust, so we had to resort to eating with our hands, which was fine. That said, I’m not writing it off just yet. My friend insisted that it’s way better when served hot and fresh, so I’m definitely planning to go back and try it again under better circumstances. I have a feeling that freshly baked, that same crust would probably be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—just how it should be. One thing I really did enjoy was their hot honey sauce. That sweet and spicy combo? So good. It added a nice kick that complemented the savory flavors of the pizza really well. I can see how that sauce could elevate the whole dish when everything’s served hot and as intended. As for the place itself, it's small but cozy. The interior is clean and minimal, nothing fancy, but it has a laid-back charm that makes you feel comfortable. It’s the kind of spot that’s probably great for quick hangouts or casual dates. Service-wise, everything was smooth. The staff were polite and helpful, though I do hope they consider using sturdier utensils, especially if the pizza is going to sit out a bit before serving. Overall, I think I just caught them at a slightly off moment, and I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying their pizza fresh from the oven—because if it’s as good as my friend says, then I might just become a regular too.

3 Strikes! We have order 3 times for “take away” pizza. Each time half of our order is burnt! We just tried again last night-we even asked to make sure the pizza was not burnt.. But again - pizza was burnt, and the Garlic Knots over baked. How can the chef put burnt pizza and bread into a take away box? 1 star ⭐️- 3 strikes you’re out.

Dropped by for a quick afternoon snack when we’re in the area. Place is cozy, and pizza is acceptable since we ordered the most recently cooked pizza; we haven’t tried “reheated” ones as stated by other reviewers. Price per slice is also fair. Parking is a challenge here since you have to park along the street. Just make sure to park properly to avoid getting clamped by the CCTO. Best time to drop by is definitely before dinner time, since the place is small and has limited seating.
