We came here for after dinner cocktails and had a great time. The bartender and the staff were super friendly to us. We had him make us a variety of old fashioned cocktails. We also notice that they have a Haku vodka machine to make highballs, first Haku machine I've seen. Now I know where to get some super fizzy drinks.

I think this would be a great date spot. The bar area has some really great colored light globes. The back is a bit darker and romantic. The drinks are unlike any others you've probably had but they taste great! I didn't get a chance to try the food. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Came here after dinner (on a Thursday night) and was pleasantly surprised!! My husband and I both got bartender’s choice and it was always a hit. The bartender was super knowledgeable and created unique drinks we never had before! It seemed like he was really good at reading us and knowing what we would like. This is a great place if you appreciate a good artistic cocktail and want to have an intimate experience with your partner or friends. The place was super vibey and it wasn’t too loud. This is one of those places I would want to go to end date night with my hubby! :)

Came here on a Saturday at 8pm. There was plenty of seating but it was packed by 8:30. The place is small but they also have patio seating. This bar felt like a true date night bar. Small, dark, cozy. We were well attended to and got water refills all night, which I appreciated. Great service, I felt well taken care of. I opted for the $15 cocktail that they make for you based off your taste.

Wonderful addition to an already packed street with great spots all around. The interior is well curated, dark and perfect for a date, the drinks are phenomenal, and the service perfect. Can’t recommend enough.

Okay wow, this new bar is well… setting the bar for cocktails in Portland. Everything I tried is absolutely delicious, fun, and new. Coming back tomorrow wouldn’t be “too soon” enough. I started with a bartenders choice of “citrus/refreshing” and it went above my expectations. My partner went the same route of bartenders choice but “stirred/spirit forward” I don’t normally enjoy bourbon but I could drink that one with ease. Lastly, we shared the “mango & chili” highball and it was the perfect blend of classy, elevated, and mango white claw.

The best cocktails you will have in Portland. All of the bartenders are great at making customized cocktails for each guest. Really enjoy the attention to detail in their craft. The atmosphere has a cool vibe with great low lighting, indoor and outdoor seating, and a bubble machine! 10/10 would recommend for a date night or girls night!

I live down the street from here and decided to come in during cocktail week when it was insanely busy, and ordered a drink off menu. Whoever made my drink (Appleton daiquiri) did an amazing job, shook it perfectly, and made it just how I like it. Great cocktail spot, seems to be paying homage to the 2000s NYC spots like Death & Co, Milk & Honey, PDT, etc. Not to be missed

Have you drank from a rabbit or a boot? Have you ever had a tequila with absinthe? Have you ever had a server ask you a string of innocuous, probing questions like a personality test or a pleasant first date? Look, I don't want to give away any of what makes this place special, so if you want a couple of drinks with friends and are OK to spend $15 on each, then go here and try it out. It's quirky and lovely and their cocktails were some of the best I've ever had. Give it a shot.

This is the coolest bar and they have such great mixologist that know exactly what they are doing! It's nice and dark on there so perfect for a date night because it is intimate. They also have some outdoor seating. The best thing about this bar is that they have a "bartenders choice" so you tell them what types of flavors you like and they will make a drink for you. The bartender asked us a few other questions like if we want an egg white in it and what type of alcohol. They absolutely nailed the drinks they were soo good! We also had one of their signature cocktails which was the "the right now" which has a good Smokey aspect too it and it has artichoke salt which is such an interesting taste. Overall, an amazing and intimate cocktail bar!

A very cool, trendy spot with a definite mood - but don't let the ambiance deter you from a fun time! The service was very friendly! Drinks were fun with their house special tonic and Japanese spirits. We also had fries, and I would just advise against eating here. It wasn't bad, but was overpriced bar food that made me feel gross afterwards. The drinks are the better choice!

We had some time waiting for a table at a restaurant down the street. The bartender was great, she could tell we weren't sure what we wanted so said she could make something for us just needed to ask some questions. It was great she asked yes no questions like do you like creamy drinks, banana, citrus... I got a great citrus focused drink and my husband wanted something non alcoholic that night and got a fun mixture. Like the atmosphere and the friendliness of both bartenders, very inviting. Nice sit and bar and tables in the back. Like the drink wall.

Cute bar with a fun vibe just off Burnside. We checked it out while we waited to a table a Ken's Artisan Pizza down the road. I was glad to find a cool cocktail bar nearby to visit! I had the melon and pandan drink which I liked! My husband got the Last Rites which comes in a fun cup (he got the banana!) The staff were super friendly. I liked sitting at the bar and watching the bartender make drinks. I also heard other tables asking for them to make up something off the menu and they were happy to do that!

Too Soon is super cute and fun! My friend found this bar on instagram! It's more of an intimate setting I would say due to the dark ambiance and the red and blue disco effect lights. I ordered the melon and panda which was refreshing in a chilling ice glassed mug. My friend ordered the mango chili which I really enjoyed the tangy spice. My other friend ordered the barista's special which was cool that you get to be randomly surprised with a cocktail. But they're definitely will notify you in advance of the type of liquor. Menu is limited. The mushroom fitters were mushy. My friends liked the pork sliders and albacore though, so definitely try snacking on these small plates. The servers were super attentive and always checked in on my party. I would suggest going with a party of less than 7 people because it is a little bit smaller.

Best vodka soda I've ever had. Impressive ice cube as well! Friendly service and very cool. Ambiance was top notch as I don't like "big lights" and it has such a cool purple pink vibe!

Order: Anchorage & Tipperary Pros: This is my favorite bar in Portland!!! The drinks are amazing! The staff are dope! The vibe the vibe theeee vibe is off the chain. This bar is groovy with the funky colors and diverse music. What I love about this bar is the owner!! He remembers who you are and always shakes my hand when I walk in. I feel safe and appreciated as a customer. Cons: n/a

Um EXCELLENT cocktail bar! It opened about a month ago and I have already been about 4 or 5 times. First - cocktails are excellent, highballs are the specialty, and they are actually significantly better than most, the soda water alone is bomb! My favorite drink is the Melon and Pandan, but I've been trying to mix it up and every other drink I've had has also been delicious. There are some really uniquely flavored drinks like Celery & Shiso, which was GREAT, but definitely not run of the mill. I've been enjoying the bartender's choice - just tell them the your flavor profile! On top of great cocktails, ambiance is great -music has been ON POINT, a lot of variety and creates the vibe. Lighting is cool - large moon-like colorful lights that I love. Fun vibes - perfect for friends or like a "keep the date going" and def will be in during the week for a casual drink. The food I tasted was also delish- enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the sauce that comes with the fries ALOT. Obviously, I'll be returning and would def recommend.

Couldn't pass up the signature banana cocktail glass, so made a visit to Too Soon. Was absolutely wow'd by the purple pink glow just passing by this place. They really set a really fun almost tiki ambiance. For drinks, they actually have the option to give details of strong to sweet and let the bartender do the work or choose from a nice list of options. I simply had to get the crushed ice banana drink and my partner a mai thai in another glass. It looks from socials they have a bunch if really fun ones, even a little racecar. For food, the crudo was fantastic, with a glaze that we finished till the last drop. I thought sliders would be smaller, but these were almost burgers! A very welcome surprise at the prices they had for them. Servers here all seemed to have a lot of fun. One bartender blasted a bubble gun in the air which made for such a colorful scene with the disco balls and neon lights in this place. Couldn't believe how cool this spot was, and will definitely be back for more. I wonder which cocktail glass I'll end up with next time!

WARNING - DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR MY FRIEND AND I THINK WE WERE DRUGGED THERE TWO NIGHTS AGO (This is not a statement of fact since we did not get tested, but it is our experience and the only conclusion we could come to) We sat at the bar (the only two there), and after drinking only two cocktails each, we completely blacked out for hours. At some point, we were separated and wandered through the streets, trying to get home. Luckily we didn't get in our cars and drive (only because we were too incapacitated to do so). My friend fell at some point and is badly bruised and scraped up. We came to about four hours later and were completely disturbed by this experience. STAY SAFE, AVOID THIS BAR!!

What a fun new bar - the colors and ambiance instantly draw you in! You walk in and are greeted by friendly staff and great music! I love that the menu is straight forward - with a handful of cocktails to pick from and then a leave it to the experts twist. I did the leave it to the experts and chose the citrus / refreshing profile. They asked me if there were spirits I preferred / disliked and any other notes. I kept it broad and just mentioned I didn't like vodka - they came back with an awesome, and totally refreshing, drink! Look forward to coming back.

Cool vibes. Lots of beautiful and unique liquors line the bar. Kinda purple and silver castle-y vibes inside. A good number of different bites available. The squash sliders were tasty. Staff was cool and quite a few patrons for a Tuesday night.

A wonderful experience, the two bartenders not only had great customer service skills but you could tell loved interacting with people. It was so welcoming and the topper was a fresh baked cookie at the end of the night (I for real). I went there Sunday( 12/01/24) on the way home from a dogsitting and they were understanding I had a suitcase The people there were also very good vibed . I recommendthis place. They are top of the line and very pretty and moody atmosphere. .

Before I get ready to head to a SUPER Funsies, Burning Man Event, I MUST write this review. I've watched this establishment being built and even offered to consult with the owner. I'm NOT sure who he consulted with but it is VERY likely a rapist. Food, shit, music too LOUD, that's perfect to drown out screaming. I mean, we all know a casual date night place has music, the level for quiet, get-to-know-you conversation. On my last visit, I was actually scared, Too scared even to pee. The hall is lined in black. Take a peek at the video filing situation to the right when you first go in. I've been an advocate for sex workers, marginalized community members, and vulnerable populations for MANY years! I watch and listen for signs of date rape establishments. I've not only been an educator for Harm Reduction, I'm an entertainer, work closely with government officials, and have been in event productions and festivals for MANY years; I'm also a PISSED of woman who also has been drugged and raped many FUCKing times! Avoid this place, especially if your date was set up on a dating app. TRUST me, I know. My next step is an investigation, I mean have you seen the surgical gloves laying around outside. I'm repulsed and disgusted. Go Anywhere next door, ASHA, Navarre.

Love this bar! Great ambiance with great tracks playing and perfect lighting to set the vibes. Tip: Stick around until last call...you might get blessed with a free cookie and bubbles. Is it Too Soon to be back again the following weekend?

This place is a breath of fresh air in the Portland bar scene! The servers and bartenders are always exceptionally nice and friendly and wow you forget what an impact that has on your experience. I forgot what it was like around here. Coupled with their amazing and creative cocktails, this place is a 5/5 slam dunk. We love any of the coffee based drinks!

Absolutely loved this place. The bartenders were extremely friendly and we had a lot of fun hearing the stories behind the random knickknacks decorating the bar. The House Special is hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had.

I got a sneak preview last night of this new bar. They did a great job remodeling the former space, and the new back bar catches the eye right away. Cozy spot that seems capable of handling a variety of different sized groups as well as being inviting to the solitary wander. Good lighting, comfortable seats, and an affordable, well executed menu. I tried a couple items but what really stood out were the beignets. Very delicious and not overly sweet. A late night dessert provider can be difficult to find so I'm certain I will find myself back here. All and all a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Went with my sisters on our trip to Oregon and had the best time! The bartender was so cool and made us delicious custom drinks. Loved the chill vibe and atmosphere of the place as well.

The bartender's choice was spot on for me. Alex just asked a couple of questions and presented a potent and tasty beverage. The ambiance was cool and just what I needed after a long week. You can tell that the folks behind the bar know their stuff and take pride in their concoctions.

Too Soon is such a fun cocktail bar! Incredible service and exceptional bartenders. Their passion for the craft is evident in the product -- each cocktail we got here was phenomenal in their regard, including the choose-your-own-adventure 'mystery' one the bartender made with my tastes in mind. Highly recommended for a date or night out with friends!

Came in here after reading the reviews and the hype is so real! Lovely ambiance, I especially love all the attention to detail in the woodworking with funky disco accents. What makes this place really special is that it's one of those places where the menu is small but everything is delicious! We got the chicken and pork sliders which were much more hefty than a traditional slider and on a super tasty biscuit style bun that held up and didn't get soggy. I also enjoyed how knowledgeable and friendly the bartenders were despite it being fairly busy on a Friday night. Water was consistently filled and we left very happy. Not to mention the strong, unique, and satisfying beverages!

Amazing time last night. Service was amazing and food top notch. Drinks were particularly good(two were suggestions from tender) and spot on. Atmosphere was perfect, not too loud, dark but fun. Date night that went perfectly. Thank you and we will definitely be back!!

Second, their menu has a "bartender recommendations" page based on flavor profile. They also have a page dedicated to recommendations of other local businesses. Third, they have creative cocktails and reasonable prices. The atmosphere and decor are great. The staff would see me getting up to walk to the bar and jump in to see what I needed so I could stay with my table. At one point, one of the staff went through with a bubble blower, much to the surprise and satisfaction of our large group. Fantastic! Also... they bring cookies out at last call. Please don't change!

First time ever in Portland, but when I tell you this is one of the best bars , it's one of the best bars! The owner is one of the kindest humans, the staff obviously takes after the owner! Probably one of if not the best time I have had at a bar in Portland! Visit them and show them love! Also the last call tray of warm salted chocolate chip cookies isn't and indication of why you should frequent this bar, I don't know what is!

This is such an amazing new bar! It has a fabulous atmosphere, consistently wonderful and delicious cocktails, and a friendly, welcoming staff! Whether you're visiting or a local, this cocktail bar has everything you could possibly ask for!

It was so nice to walk into a Portland bar and not feel like an annoyance. Friendly chill staff, well thought out cocktails and a great vibe. It was awesome to see the last page of their menu had ideas of what to do after Too Soon! Like dancing spots, dive bars, and restaurant ideas! I can't say enough positive things! Lastly, try the Melon and Pandan cocktail, it was delicious and so interesting!

They have nice drinks and cool ice cubes and a cookie at the close... great playlist as well.

disco ball spins smoothly. music bumps. the leaf in the pandan drink keeps stabbing me in the eye but it's good. ice cubes go hard, uniform shape. squishy seats, cushions are comfortable. chili flakes on mango drink were tangy.
