Seattle did not disappoint me at all! Dim sum style are authentic Hong Kong style. This is not a huge restaurant, there is about 30 tables and tables are spread out. I like the updated atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Once you walk in, you feel is welcoming. The only thing I have to complain is the restaurant is tucked in at the very end of the corner in the parking lot. Without any guidance, I won't be able to find this place. I felt like I found a hidden gem in the area! The dim sum and service was awesome! There is a QR code on the table where you place order. One of my worry was after placing order of the dimsum, they usually ask you to pay the bill. BUT IT DID NOT happen here! Once you submit the order on your phone, the food comes out quickly within couple minutes. Def will come here again when I'm in the city visiting.

Google
Our go to dim-sum spot when we are in the Bellevue area. Service is quick and food comes within 5-10 minutes after placing the order easily online through QR code. Waiters were friendly and attentive. Facility and bathrooms are always clean. Atmosphere is lovely! Would recommend bringing your friends and family.

The food quality has gotten much worse. This used to be the best dim sum place on the east side. But it has either changed ownership or cooks because today, the food quality was pretty bad. They tried to serve us 6 dimsum dishes that were obviously cooked hours ago and cold, and one was clearly burnt. When I asked for one of the dishes to be made fresh, they seemed pretty annoyed. They also started charging an 18% forced gratuity on 6 or more people. Before, we had to wait 30 minutes or more to get a table, but today, on a Saturday at lunchtime, it was more than half empty. Looks like we'll need to find a new dim sum place...

This is our favorite Dim Sum restaurant around the Issaquah area. It has all the typical Dim Sum varieties and is reasonably priced. Because of its popularity, peak hours are always packed, parking is very limited, and the queue wait time can be as long as 45 minutes. But there's a theater nearby with lots of available parking if one doesn't mind a short walk. And for those who ignore the no-parking signs at the neighboring grocery store, be warned that their enforcement of towing violation is very real. Other than the parking woes, this restaurant serves authentic Dim Sum dishes, food is served very quickly, and service is prompt.

Google
Friends in Bellevue recommended Top Gun Seafood Restaurant for our dim sum brunch. We were there on a weekday a little before 11:30 am. They already have lots of customers in there. We were still seated right away. We will have to wait for the table if we come 15 minutes later! The dim sum and other dishes are excellent. The dining room is very busy. That’s why the service was a little slow! I will be back because the food is delicious!

Google
It's a solid place to get some dim sum. The portion size here are pretty large, and the food comes out quick. Instead of ordering from a cart, there is a menu that you order from using your phone. It can be quite slow when everyone is trying to order from the website. The other option is that a waiter can come and manually take your order from you. We ordered a good variety of dim sum for for of us, to a point where we didn't have any free space on the table. I enjoyed their congee and beef shui mai.

Google
Great variety! The shumai is the best I've ever had. Egg tarts are very cute! Small and flaky! Will be our go to when we visit Bellvue in the future.

Google
I used to love eating at Top Gun for dim sum and other dishes, the last time I was here was about a year ago but this time the quality of food and service has gotten dramatically worse. First off you now have to order thru a QR code that’s on every table and order thru their website on your phone. Next, the quality of food has really gone downhill, less meat, shrimp, vegetables in the dim sum and no condiments for the congee. The service was very unlike other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to, and it was difficult to get someone’s attention when I needed something. I asked for sriracha hot sauce(they used to have it) and was told no and all they have is the crusty chili oil in an old and dirty looking container on the table. There are a few other dim sum restaurants on the west side that are much better than this place now. It’s sad because I used to love coming here with family and the food and service was so much better. I’m guessing the owners are trying to save every little bit of money they can.

Yelp
Food is amazing! The oysters are so fresh and they are 3 dollars each. Great value! Great Service as well. Would recommend!

Tony ..

Yelp
Great food; good ambiance; good services This restaurant has plenty of fresh seafood. Waiter also made recommendations on what's best for the day. We spent a long time eating on the fresh crab we ordered so our other dish got cold. Our waitress even brought it back to the kitchen to reheat it for us. Amazing service.

Yelp
Came for Father's Day brunch and it was maybe half full at 10am. The server didn't ask us what tea we wanted, and we got jasmine which is fine, but would've been good to have a choice lol You enter in your order online which was super convenient. The food also comes out really quick. The food itself is okay. The bbq pork bun had a weird flavor, the bean curd rolls were a bit dry for my liking, and the egg tarts are super small, which messes with the proportion of egg filling to crumbly crust. Everything else was mid at best. Ambiance is okay. Some of the tables are way too close together which isn't great. Overall, I'd say, just plan for the wait at better dim sum places.

Yelp
I've been coming here years and it has never disappointed. Granted it had been a couple of years since my last visit and while they remodeled, the food is the same good quality. While it is right across from Factoria mall, the location may be a little hard to find if it's your first time, as it's behind another building. Parking isn't always easy either, perhaps you can park at the mall and walk over. Once inside there are the classic fish tanks at the front and large seating areas. Unfortunately it appears they no longer have the carts and instead you order via your phone (QR code that identifies your table) or with the wait staff. I personally loved the carts but seems a lot of places are going this route. As usual the food came out very quickly and tasted great. The prices and portions here are decent and Top Gun will remain in my top picks of dim sum restaurants in the area.

Yelp
With all the new places to try it's been a while since we've been to Top Gun. Just as I recall - solid dim sum. Seemed fresh. Definitely tasty. Good portions. Da boss felt like chow mein so we ordered up at the house special chow mein - plenty of shrimp, bbq pork, squid and chicken and of course crunchy noodles with gravy. Topped it off with some dim sum - shrimp balls, siu mai and stuffed bean curd rolls. Plenty of food and we went away happy. Went in at a really goofy hour so we had our run of the place which is nice.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and was expecting there to be a wait but we got seated pretty quickly. The overall vibe is typical of a dim sum restaurant. A bit chaotic but in a good way lol. Service was alright. We got our refills pretty quickly and the employees scooped the soups into our bowls for us. Food was great! Everything was flavorful and they came out rather quickly despite how many patrons were in the restaurant at the time. I'd come again.

Yelp
Top Gun is your typical dim sum restaurant -- crowded, smells great, and lots of lazy susans around round tables. The decor is pretty nice and the staff is helpful, but the food itself was just okay. The menu is pretty standard as far as dim sum goes, but some of the items weren't my favorite. The chicken feet were a bit too oily, and the xiaolong bao were dry... which is crazy, given they're soup dumplings. Is it the worst dim sum ever? Not at all. But there are better places to go on a weekend.
google avatar

Megan T.

Yelp
The seasonal spotted shrimp is so good and a high recommend if they offer it. The seasonal fish was good, but had a lot of bones and was so tender almost to the point of being too much. Everything was very well seasoned and the greens were exceptionally fresh. The food is on the pricier side, but I believe it is well worth

Yelp
I love my dim sum and was craving it while in Seattle. We checked this spot out that was supposedly a popular spot among the locals. We got the staples like the shrimp dumplings, shumai, spare ribs and egg tarts. The dumplings were massive! They were easily twice the size of normal ones and full of filling. In terms of flavor, I would say it was pretty good. Most things were decent, but nothing mind blowing. Good dim sum spot to start your day!
google avatar

Yelp
You could argue the food is "Top Gun", but the cleanliness is definitely bottom rung. Here's a picture of the bathroom. I shudder to think what the kitchen looks like if this is their customer facing effort of cleanliness. .

Alyssa W.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years, but unfortunately, we may need to find another dim sum spot. Over time, the prices have steadily gone up while the quality of the food has steadily gone down. It has become very hit-or-miss with each visit. Sometimes dishes come out lukewarm, as if they were leftovers from yesterday or the seasoning is off. Today, the salt and pepper squid and chicken feet were overly salty, the deep-fried shrimp had an odd taste, and the chow mein lacked any wok hei. This place used to be packed on weekends with a wait for tables, but now half the restaurant sits empty and you can walk right in.

Yelp
Great dim sum with large potion sizes but mediocre service. The dim sum itself is very tasty and comes out extremely quickly. I really liked the shumai, which is way bigger than other dim sum places'. I've had plenty of dim sum before and the "football", which are fried mochi filled with meat, was better than I remember. The service is pretty lacking - they are very prompt asking what kind of tea you want right when you sit down but aren't clear that there's a $2 per person charge. at the end of the meal, i tried to request the check multiple times using the online ordering page but it never came, so i finally flagged down a waiter. to be fair to them, it was quite full in the restaurant. Came away quite full - about $100 for all three of us, and enough leftover for another meal.

Yelp
Very tasty food. Service was super fast and spot on. The ambiance is a little fast, noisy and kinda dirty restrooms. Everything else was top notch.

Yelp
Got here at around 10 am on a Saturday - plenty of seating and no line. My friend and I were seated quickly, but a crowd did start forming around the time we left (around 11 ish). The food is a solid four stars. Service is average for a Chinese restaurant - the servers will leave you alone unless you call them over, which I honestly prefer, because I prefer to eat in peace. I think this is definitely one of the better dim sum places I have been to in a while. The food is made fresh upon ordering via checklist menu. Although it can't beat Vancouver, BC, it is still decent and worth a visit!
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
Food arrives piping hot. No waitstaff pushing steam carts. It all comes out when ordered. Food is good. Figure about $25/person. Place is always busy when i go. Parking sucks. I've always had to double park there.
google avatar

Josh K.

Yelp
Always love Top Gun! They have a large seating area and it is great for large families. They do charge $2 for tea and it is a bit pricey but I think the food makes up for it! You order through a QR code menu so keep that in mind. Love their shrimp balls and siu mai!!
google avatar

Tia P.

Yelp
I love coming here for dim sum or celebrations with my family. We always get the Peking duck which is delicious! The decor and table set up is very nice. Highly recommend giving this place a try.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
We used to love this place years ago, so we were excited to come back for dim sum--but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The shumai didn't taste fresh, the rice rolls had an odd texture, and the rice cake was so off we couldn't even finish it.

Yelp
Good dim sum for the Bellevue area! Service is relatively fast and food came out probably in ten minutes. Ambiance is loud and bustling, but that's dim sum for you. We enjoyed all the typical goodies -- chicken feet, pork baos, turnip cakes, shao mai, and shrimp balls and noodles. The restaurant could be cleaner -- sticky floors, a little grimy exterior. Parking was also very tight at 11am on a holiday Monday.
google avatar

Edna D.

Yelp
This restaurant is so busy! We came before they open but the wait time was like 20 to 30 minutes. The restaurant itself was huge but they only open one section of the restaurant but staff move through diners quickly. They have good dim sum, the shumai is huge in size which everyone enjoyed. The cilantro and shrimp ball and bean curd is my favorite. The congee with century egg didn't wow us at all, it was grainy in texture. The tea that they served us was just water and we need to call their attention and ask for another tea pot. The parking can be a problem, too many customers not enough parking!
google avatar

Smaly K.

Yelp
Maybe between 3.5 to 4 stars. I've been here a couple of times, and they do get really busy. Decent dim sum, I'd say, your average. I didn't find it to be any greater than some of the other places I've tried. It was satisfying and didn't have just one dim sum item I really like.
google avatar

Mei Jie W.

Yelp
Ordering was very convenient and modern. Everyone was able to order from a QR code for the table. You do have to pay at the front though. The portions were varied. The egg tarts were really tiny, but there was a lot for other dishes like the noodles. Very lively atmosphere that aligns with other Chinese restaurants.
google avatar

Rita P.

Yelp
"The food was okay, with a decent taste but nothing extraordinary. Overall, it was quite average."
google avatar

Epi L.

Yelp
This place still has IMO the best dim sum around. We have been coming here for years and the quality is still good. You order from a menu now .... I do miss the carts because sometimes we would get a wild hair after seeing something that looked interesting. I am less likely to do that from the menu. Service is fast. Their "little dragon balls" used to be xia long bao but didn't have much soup in them. They have the biggest and the best shui Mai here. Sugar cane shrimp, wok fried noodles, shrimp ball, green beans (weekend only), sticky rice, taro cake...all delicious! It does get loud when it's full. Go early!
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Be careful!! We went here today and had four dishes for Dim Sum. With tax, our total was $31.50. We paid cash. Out of $40, they gave us back $6.50. I guess they either can't count or they tipped themselves. There were only two of us in our party! We will not return!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is big, and it gets fully packed. I came in on a Sunday afternoon. It was half full, but got completely full during the dinner hour. So here's the good and the bad Con:s - Food took over 40 minutes to arrive - Service. There is no service to speak of. Not once did anyone stop at the table to ask if we needed anything. When the food eventually arrived, it was almost thrown onto the table by someone running past very quickly. They were far gone before I even finished saying "thank you." Pro: - The duck was delicious. Probably the best cook out of all Chinese ducks I've ever tried. Soft. Seasoned just right. Perfection. So what's the verdict? Will have to come back to try other things. The food is good enough to overlook the lack of service. And I'll just remember to not come hungry. :)

Yelp
Top Gun Seafood in Bellevue has good, fresh food, but it gets very crowded, especially on weekends. Be ready for a long wait, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.
google avatar

Qian H.

Yelp
I used to come here with my Dad, pre-Covid, and I would say things have changed quite a bit. I stopped by with my family today and it was packed. We were told that are wait time will be about 20 minutes, it was closer to 45. There's no longer ladies coming around with carts, you order everything through a QR code, and everything comes as it's prepared. For the first round, we ordered 9 plates and 2 arrived really quickly and then the others took a little while. There's definitely no coursing and little to no service. The food is fine, there is too much MSG in it. There was not a dish that I was wowed by, after ordering 12 dishes. It's OK, but I don't think I would come back again. I've also never been to a dim sum place where they charge you for tea. It's literally called "Yum Cha" for a reason. If anyone has a recommendation for a delicious dim sum place in the area, let me know!
google avatar

Julia Z.

Yelp
I love dim sum! Their portions are huge. Their prices are high. For three people, two women and one man, we ordered shao mai (4 per order), xlb (4), spare ribs, chicken feet (4), taro puffs (3), chive and shrimp pocket (3), and rice noodle with shrimp. It was slightly too much food. But what is dim sum without variety?? Their menu is an online menu but the tea situation is odd. They cost $2/person for a pot of tea, but if you order dishes there's an "add on". We were assured this add on version was incorrect multiple times and that it was just $2/person. (We didn't end up adding the tea to the online order but did order it, and they had it on the receipt later.) The food overall was pretty good! I also like their red vinegar for dipping. One of us didn't really like the chive shrimp pockets, felt they would've been better as har gow, and I don't necessarily disagree. The food is so huge. That's really all there is about it. For sizing, each shao mai was about twice a normal one. Probably a better plan with people would be to order them and cut everything in half! Service was okay. Bathroom was okay. Place was very busy. Food turnover was fast.

Yelp
Good place for Cantonese food. Sad that it is closed down. Dim Sum factory at the Factoria mall is a good option to go to.
google avatar

Food D.

Yelp
"Mixed experience at this seafood restaurant! Food met my expectations, but server seemed overly pushy about tipping. Ambiance was decent, but bathroom cleanliness and aesthetics fell short."
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
Used to be one of the better ones but the dim sum game is a bit more competitive now on the eastside. Service is ok... but a sense of chaos is typical. Either you love the noise and the random bustle is places like this or you don't. If you are willing to drive - consider T&T seafood in eastern Edmonds. If your pockets are flush that day, consider Sun Sui Wah in Bellevue.
google avatar

Mark Y.

Yelp
For those looking to avoid the Chinatown parking mess should head here for what's one of our favorite dim sum locations on the eastside. It can be a circus on the weekends or at peak weekday lunch hours but they have a wide variety of dim sum choices. My one knock was a couple of dishes on this most recent visit were lukewarm and felt like they had been sitting for a while. We also ordered har gaw and never got them even after reminding the wait staff and having them eventually telling us they ran out. Wow running out of one of the most popular dishes? Oh well everything else was good and most of the other steamed dishes came out hot. The stuffed steam tofu dish is our fav! The ambiance is typical of a Chinese restaurant which is frenzied and like a fire drill with waiters and service staff running in all directions.
google avatar

Rj A.

Yelp
Food is extremely oily for what we ordered, portions are large. Service is efficient. Ambiance not really.
google avatar

P C.

Yelp
Service is 5 Stars Food including dim sum are delicious. The egg white dried scallops is super yummy However the QR code order system is very convenient but lack a feature for reviewing orders

Mel M.

Yelp
Honestly, good food good price. All the negative reviews don't know what they talking about. Seems those people Just want to complain about every thing in their lives. I highly recommend this place! Try it for yourself:)
google avatar

Yelp
Rainy day lunch dim sum on a Friday, yes please! Parking is a little tight per usual but I was able to find a spot without waiting at 12pm. I was promptly seated and offered a pot of tea. It was lovely being surrounded by tables of folks enjoying their lunch! There is a QRC code for the menu on the wall with a table number, if you can't hit the "add to order" button - walk up to the front and order. A bit pricey here. Prices on Yelp do not reflect price in house. I got all the goodies - har gow, stuffed eggplant, chicken feet, beef chow fun, Chinese broccoli. Service was fast and the food was hot and tasty!
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Food was delicious. I think they may have one of the best Shumai I've ever had. Service was okay, ambience gives you that homey feeling. They are busy and at the same time the ones who helped us only spoke mandarin or Cantonese which was a little hard since we cannot understand. But I cannot complain about the food.

Zafina A.

Yelp
The green beans have been one of the best we have ever had at a Dim Sum restaurant. It was hard for us to get service because different people were coming and going and we were being told to ask someone else.
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
It's a solid place to get some dim sum. The portion size here are pretty large, and the food comes out quick. Instead of ordering from a cart, there is a menu that you order from using your phone. Yelp
Order thru QR then deliver to table. I had to bring my iPad cause I could read on my phone LOL
google avatar

Thuy N.

Yelp
I came here recently with my family because we haven't had dim sum for a long time. There's a sign that says they check the vaccine card at the door but they don't. When you first enter the establishment, you must go to the front to put down the number of people and get a little number placard so once a table is available, they would call out your number. Once you sit down, no one say anything to you. No menu, no carts, no instructions on how to order. If you look somewhere on your table, you will see a QR scan that will allow you to check the menu and order. So that was cool but would have been nice if someone would inform you of this. Don't you dare ask the workers or the lady at the front any questions about your order like if it went thru ok. Because they will straight up have attitude, and as if you are bothering them. The folks bringing out the food should wear gloves because their fingers were all up in the food as they were putting it down on the table. Straight up nasssssty, we are still in a pandemic and I don't know where your finger have been, sir. Make sure you count your order because they forgot one of our order, which I'm pretty sure we were going to get charged for. Who knows how you pay before you leave works?! Some people received the black cover with the bill, the others just head up to the front. Would I come back? The food was just okay. It wouldn't be the first on my list, that's for sure.
google avatar

Reina D.

Yelp
No more carts for dim sum. You order off your phone with a QR code. I miss the excitement of seeing the carts and the anticipation of what they hold but with the QR you order everything you want and sit back while all your dishes come piping hot from the kitchen. The food was still very good. Didn't love the "little dragon bun." Picture looked like soup dumplings but there was no soup and it was pretty dry. We also had the beef noodle, sticky rice, chow mein, shumai, shrimp and cilantro dumpling, bean curd and tofu shrimp. They were all delicious and huge. But the prices like everywhere else has gone up a lot. Sadly Inexpensive dim sum is a thing of the past. I saw mixed reviews about service. It's pretty typical of Chinese restaurants they are efficient and that's all I care about. It's not a diner where the server will chat you up and cheerily get you what you need.

Yelp
Loved this place before COVID hit because it would actually operate like a more authentic dim sum restaurant -- pushing the carts around knowing that the food is fresh. The first couple of times we came back after opening up, you could just tell that the food was precooked and just reheated. Guess they just made extra expecting that there was the flood of customers like they had. But they had very little business then and just a surplus of food. After that, its been better, no more carts, you just order through a QR code, but the food is definitely more fresh. Our favorites are the chicken feet, the ribs, stuffed bell pepper, radish cake, eggplants, and others I can't remember. It really is the best dim sum you can get around here. They do charge you $2/person for tea but the total comes out around $60-70 when we go out as a family of 5.
google avatar

Tim H.

Yelp
It's not the most scenic of restaurants but the Dim Sum is the best here outside of the standard ID spots. All the best items are here and the spare ribs are on point.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
Delicious Dim Sum! They have an online QR code ordering system and food comes out fairly quick. Weekends are super busy so be prepared to wait for a table. Large dining space with traditional decor. Great for large groups, would come again!
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for good authentic dim sum in the Seattle area, I would say this place is my top choice. I must say that this place might not appeal to everyone. It's noisy. It's crowd (long line if you come late). The servers aren't the most welcoming. But that's the authentic Chinese restaurant experience. Customer service is not their priority. It's about the good food. My favorites for dim sum are: - Shiu mai - Taro puff - BBQ pie - Chicken feet - Football

Yelp
Taste-wise it's okay. Service is super fast. Parking in AMC-area business complex next door during weekends.
