The 25 Best Restaurants In Fort Lauderdale - Miami - The Infatuation

"Top Hat Deli is a shiny, modern Jewish deli right by downtown Fort Lauderdale. It’s a great option for a group breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The menu has lots of good options—matzo brei, breakfast sandwiches, bagels with lox, challah french toast, and more. They have cocktails in case you’re trying to have that kind of brunch, but also plenty of hangover-friendly foods (like ramen with bacon broth, pizza bagels, pastrami sandwiches) in case it’s that kind of brunch. Top Hat is also less than a mile from Las Olas if you want to take a digestive stroll down Fort Lauderdale’s most walkable street." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Really good lunch spot in Fort Lauderdale. Been here numerous times and very consistent. Fried bologna sandwich and chicken salad this time. Potato salad was very good as well. I will return.

We go there often for lunch, and everything on the menu is delicious. Very generous portions and good service. The cookies are a must try!

I had The Classic (a pastrami on rye) with a cucumber salad side. Delicious! The sandwich was huge and I probably should have shared it with a friend… but also I’m pretty happy I didn’t. Ha! Kitchen was fast with the food, waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was perfect for conversation. Wonderful place! Will return!

Iordered the first cut in-house made pastrami on rye, came with a side, I got coleslaw hubby had the Ruben also came with a side coleslaw as well. Friend had the Turkey club, Coleslaw as well. Turkey was thick slices big sandwich.

We visited Top Hat Deli for the first time while on vacation in Fort Lauderdale. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The service, food and atmosphere were incredible! The service was outstanding and makes you feel at home. We ordered the Reuben with potato salad and a BYO chicken salad sandwich with deviled eggs. The flavor of the reuben was perfect, juicy, not dry with perfectly toasted bread. The chicken salad was crisp and refreshing and paired well with deviled eggs. I wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time!

I recently visited Top Hat Deli in Fort Lauderdale with my service dog, Ember, and we had a fantastic breakfast experience. Our server, Tais, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding, with the biscuits and gravy being a must-try. However, the only drawback was the loud atmosphere due to poor acoustics, which made conversation challenging. Despite this, the excellent service and delicious food make it a top recommendation. Ember and I had no issues dining here, and we look forward to returning!

I’ve been a longtime customer and have always come here for the matzah ball soup — it’s one of my favorites. But after a recent experience, I’m deeply disappointed and won’t be returning. I stopped in for a quick lunch during a busy workday. While I was eating, I overheard two staff members betting $10 on what they thought my nationality was. It was shocking and offensive. My background isn’t something to be joked about or turned into a guessing game.( one of the guy came to me and tell me they were betting and needs answer from me) I left immediately. As someone who supported this place for years, I expected to be treated with respect — not as the subject of a game. Very unfortunate experience

This was the perfect spot for an excellent, & delicious breakfast. I got the avocado toast with smoked salmon - it was amazing and healthy. My hubby got the brisket sandwich. Ashley was our waitress and she was super awesome because I couldn’t decide what to get lol and she had great recommendations! Their baked goods were also incredible.

Yelp
Found this deli in Fort Lauderdale near Las Olas. The matzo ball soup is excellent with large plump balls and not skimpy on the noodles. The cole slaw on the Reuben was wonderful and the sandwich filled me up. The prices are steep but well worth it. Lots of free parking next to the business and pleasant employees. Loved this deli.

Yelp
TOP HAT DELI #1... Today I was super enthusiastic to try the reuben and their famous matzo ball soup for the first time. Located in east Fort Laud, so on my drive there, I endured a pain in my gut concerned about parking as most places in the immediate area. A sigh of relief upon arriving at the deli entering a massive FREE gravel parking lot with a clearly posted sign indicating "Top Hat Deli Guests Only". So far I'm very pleased. Noticed the deep dining area of the eatery with a display of oversized cakes and enormous cookies with one taking on the bizarre moniker "Chunky Monkey" which delightfully contained chocolate chips and cream cheese. Ordered two quarts of matzo ball soup with a warm reuben sandwich that came with two mini golden crusted potato latkas and a kosher pickle slice. The bathroom was spotless and adored the comical multi gendered, alien and "whatever" placard affixed to the door. The deli decor continued into the bathroom with a big picure of a shocked pickle ogling a huge deli sandwich. The soap gel dispensors were also well appreciated. Transported the food to my families house and enjoyed a wonderful feast split with the wife. My mother-in-law raved about the matzo ball soup, but I added salt. I will order two sandwiches next visit. FYI, careful with the sharp edges of the bread when taking a bite. Too Jay's is out and Top Hat Deli is now in!

Yelp
This could be one of the worst "delis" I've been to in history. The server recommended I try their "in-house meats", so I got the pastrami sandwich, which should have been named the Dried Stale Cardboard sandwich. It was easily the worst pastrami I've ever tasted. Could barely finish half of it, and stomach has been in pain since I left. I feel nauseas from it. Wouldn't be shocked if I got food poisoning. McDonald's meat is better than this place. I'd recommend eating out of a garbage can over someone ordering pastrami from this joint. Go anywhere else instead.

Yelp
Ordered to go and the place was popping. The lochs bagel was amazing. The service was quick and they even mentioned ordering directly through them would be cheaper than door dash because of fees so I appreciated the honesty. The place has a bar that I will have to check out next time and An amazing cookie/desert display !

Yelp
I love a good tuna bagel. This tuna didn't have too much mayo, was very clean didn't taste fishy, was pleasantly surprised. The bagel it was on was okay, wish it had a little bit more everything seasoning on it but other than that it was great. The pickles were awesome I loved the flavor of it, very light and tasted like no other pickle I've ever had. Fiancé got the classic and added coleslaw to it and he loved it. It was clean on the inside, pretty busy around 1pm had a classic diner feel to it. Service was good. Felt like everyone working really loved working there. Would come here again!

Yelp
What a great Jewish style deli. I like it. Service is quick, nice dining room, and the pastrami is GREAT! No pics today but definitely have to urge folks looking for an excellent sandwich and very good sides like macaroni salad or potato salad should come here.

Yelp
I haven't even left yet and I couldn't wait to write this review of how amazing the service is at this establishment. Our server was amazing along with the owner working together to ensure we have the best experience. He was active walking around clearing plates and checking if we were okay along with our amazing server. I don't have her name yet but she has some purple in her hair and I just love her! The Ruben egg rolls are a must waiting on the rest of my food now. If you need a great breakfast/lunch spot with a full bar you definitely need to check this place out. Thank you!

Yelp
I took my Mom down to Fort Lauderdale as my sister treated her for facials today. Afterwards, we were all hungry and looking to grab something for brunch and close by down town, we went to Top Hot Deli! Going inside, it was quite the shpatzir as older gentlemen and people were eating jewish and breakfast delights! As for brunch, we ordered 1x corn beef hash, 1x nova salmon platter, 1x side of pickles, and 1x assorted rugelach to go. Moving on with my review, the food was pretty good. I'll start off that the corn beef hash was excellent! I've had corn beef hash many places that have a can tin taste and stringy hashbrowns. However, this one had nice diced chunks of tender corn beef and additional corn beef strips on the side! Also, the eggs were nicely creamy inside. The nova platter possessed fresh cured salmon and fresh vegs; although, the bagels texture was lacking as it was missing that chew and pretty airy. The pickles were simply kosher dill flavor, but were brined well and had a great snap with each bite! The rugelach all possessed nice flavors, but they could've been crisper and were a little dry inside. Moreover, our server was super friendly and attentive which is always great! Overall, with a few tweaks, Top Hat Deli has the potential to be a star or two higher from today's visit. We still had a nice breakfast together, but would give this a rating of 3.5/5 stars.

Yelp
Jackie is a gem! Truly such a kind, attentive, hospitable human. I had brunch on a busy Sunday afternoon and didn't have the best attitude after a slight error with my order. Despite my poor attitude, Jackie was even more of a star. Truly killing it with kindness. She's a shining example of their "be nice" slogan. In addition to the warm and inviting service, Top Hat offers the best breakfast and brunch. My new go to order is no doubt their house made pastrami sandwich on rye! We also love their customizable grand schlam. Unbelievable value for quality and portion. Top Hat is a must try!

Yelp
Starting off by saying you get what you pay for - portion sizes are huge and yummy. The avocado toast was spectacular and from now on I will only be topping my avo toast at home with hot honey. The ricotta absolutely made this!!! My sister is more of a simple girl as she has celiac but they accommodated her allergy and her dish was to her liking. She had been wanting to try this place for awhile and she will definitely be back. To finish, the doughssaints.... Oh my lord... melts in your mouth. So good. To die for. Will come back just for these!!

Yelp
Great for a delicious deli meal...breakfast or lunch. Try it, you'll like it! Great, friendly service

Yelp
I absolutely love Top Hat Deli! I especially love their matzo ball soup and home made potato chips. I have also tried their huge amazing cookies which I cannot recommend enough. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. I can't wait to go back for this delicious comfort food!!

Yelp
The entry way is a little chaotic with people waiting to be seated, ordering takeout, looking at the baked goods, etc. We put in a large group order-- we did not know where to stand and wait for our order. Most of us ordered sandwiches, which are a little overpriced for something so basic. I got the turkey club, but they did put a lot of turkey in there. They also don't package cups of soups to go, so I will likely dine in next time. Our favorites were the huge cookies-- like literally a few pounds heavy each. You can definitely split one cooking with a group of 4-5 people and still have more!

Yelp
We've been going here fo years. The only thing that changes is that it keeps getting better. Matzo ball ,was hearty the right amount of salt and a tasty broth. The whitefish platter, the fried shrimp ,the Nova platter, the Leo and the Meatloaf is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place also great location. Food 5 star Ambiance 5 star Service 5 star

Yelp
The mimosas are yummy, the food is great, but my favorite part is how they were able to create a modern deli. The built-in counter adds an old school diner feel, but the decor gives it an elevated touch. I walked over here after church on a Sunday & we were sat immediately. Their staff had on the dopest Halloween costumes, it was cool to see them invest so much time into the makeup/outfits. The kids dining in especially loved it. Our waitress was friendly, well informed & attentive. She quickly answered questions about the menu & provided great suggestions. For my drink, I had a passion fruit mimosa, a Halloween special I believe. I tried their popular deviled eggs & they didn't disappoint! It's an incredible union of flavors & the serving of 3 was perfect for 1 person. The relish they use is great quality & the everything bagel seasoning is a nice touch. For my entree, I ordered the Grand Schlam with scrambled eggs, bacon which is a generous portion, a latke & sourdough bread. Next time I'll add cheese to my eggs but they were perfectly fluffy & I'm picky with my eggs. The latke is flavorful but not overpowering & pairs really well with ketchup. The butter & jam served with toast are also fantastic. I appreciate them using good quality ingredients, you can taste it right away. My boyfriend was able to order a custom breakfast sandwich since he doesn't eat meat which was nice. The front has various deli items for sale which makes for a convenient pickup.

Yelp
What to say besides delicious. This spot has been around for quite some time, and they are just so good. The quality of food, the service is fantastic and it's a welcoming environment. While I do feel some of the items are overpriced, I do enjoy going. I've always had lunch because I'm a sucker for matzo ball soup, but I went for breakfast this time and am so glad I tried the French toast. It was on challah bread, topped with berries and granola, and finished with powdered sugar. That will run you $14 by itself, and of course, I had to add a side of bacon, which was $5. One thing I am bummed about is they don't have decaf espresso, but they did have bottomless decaf coffee, which I believe was Argyle coffee. It was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. They were more than accommodating on a busy Saturday morning. No wait, good service, and good food!

Yelp
Food and service are always excellent. Today, Billy took care of me at the bar top. I had a "grand schlam." Also, if you're doing a drinking lunch, try a vodka with apple juice. :)

Yelp
This place is one of a kind. We went for brunch on a Sunday and this place was packed. Staff got us seated under 10 mins followed by food wait time only 5mins. Everything came out fresh. Me and my wife got the brisket plate very savory & home style. Cheese blitz was phenomenal. Potato latkas were simple but delightful. This place also has a full bar and dessert. We will definitely be back to try the pie.
google avatar

Nicole T.

Yelp
Went back for the Challah French toast who's served with oats, berries, light simple syrup and powdered sugar. YUM!!! The thick slices of French toast were toasted, yet still melted in my mouth. The oats gave the toast a bit of crunch, the berries added freshness and the simple syrup was the perfect amount of sweetness. Two pieces of toast doesn't seem like a lot but I could easily share this plate. Our server was friendly and we also had the pleasure of meeting the general manager, Julio, who brought our food to our table himself. He was also friendly and professional - he took a few minutes from all he was doing to talk with us about the restaurant. Thank you, Julio, for making us feel even more welcome! I also appreciate how well kept the restaurant is. It's clean, the booths are new and comfortable and both dining areas offer excellent accommodations. I found my favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Fort Lauderdale!

Kristen S.

Yelp
Visiting Fort Lauderdale before our cruise and the bartender recommended Top Hat for breakfast. Wow, I am so glad we went. We travel a lot and love to find local spots that have different and good food. This was both. We had the challah French toast and the meat omelette. Both were amazing. The French toast melts in your mouth. So good. The service was also excellent. If you live here or visit here, I highly recommend this place.

R C.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance was amazing! We could not decide on what to get so we shared waffles and chicken pot pie. It was delicious and the staff was super friendly. If we had more time in Fort Lauderdale we would be there often!

Yelp
My daughter and I visited here for brunch. We did not have to wait at approximately 11am. We were seated at a 4 top table in the middle of the restaurant. It was pretty busy and bustling. We gave our order to the server. And later we realized there were specials we weren't told about. We shared delicious pancakes and lox and bagels. Bacon and coffee. The food was very good. The best coffee! If in the area we will visit again. We will definitely order dessert to go as well.

Yelp
Top Hat is our absolute FAVORITE deli to visit on the regular! I've been here so many times I've honestly lost count. On our most recent visit, we were coming back from the airport after a few delayed flights and needed a quick (but delicious) sandwich. Their tuna salad is an absolute delight and always on perfectly toasted bread. Staff is always 10/10, super welcoming and accommodating. Probably also one of the cleanest spots downtown. Their breakfasts are also really great - anything you can think of to order they have it. I also love this new location with the bar seating and TV's. They always have super fast service and they pay attention to customer queues; they noticed we were in a bit of a hurry on this day and didn't choose to stay and linger so we were in and out in like 30-minutes. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot, Top Hat is a 10/10 recommend from me.

Yelp
What a breath of fresh air. We stopped into this place as it was across the street from the hotel we were staying at. Great food (Jewish Flare). Great Service (Shoutout to Eli). Clean & Enjoyable atmosphere. Easy "Yes" if you're looking for breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
This place is right across from my apartment and it's dangerous... Dangerous because it's SO good and SO close!!! My friend and I love this place! Whenever she visits me from Jupiter she begs me to take her here. We are in love with the latkes and knish (my fav!!!)! Everything is fresh & delicious. It's always packed, but you won't ever wait long from our experience & staff is so friendly! Just LOVE it! One of my favorite spots in Fort Lauderdale!
google avatar

Anie R.

Yelp
Nice joint to have a simple meal whatever that may be. Their menu is simple but totally worth it! Portions are just right & prices are right on point! Can't believe I use to work in the area & never knew about this joint! Yet again it's kinda hidden away. Regardless, glad I went! Totally recommend!

Yelp
This review is for food that was ordered and delivered via door dash. There were no issues with the delivery service and the food was well packed from the restaurant. After looking over the food we noticed a few issues. My plain bagel, not toasted, with lox cream cheese spread, was not as expected. I opened the box and noticed a sesame half not toasted and a bottom everything bagel toasted well. No lox cream cheese to be seen. Yes, there was an up charge. I called the restaurant and explained my situation and the person on the phone said that it was not his problem. I needed to take up my issues with the delivery service. The next minor issue, on our first review of our order was only two very small potato latkes. For the price, I expected three to four as they are quite small, just over two inches wide. But after tasting them, two were more than enough. As the delivery bag was not sealed, the delivery driver could have taken them if there were more. All of the other food was good along with a nicely sized servings. FYI, the lox, tomatoes and onions are sliced very thick. I'll not return do to the poor customer service.

Yelp
This is a friendly neighborhood Deli. The place is huge and always busy. Food is always fresh and comes fast. The interior is bright and modern, providing a comfortable dining experience. I usually bike there but they have a big parking lot onsite. Their latkes are bite sized so don't be afraid ordering an extra side.

Alan G.

Yelp
First of all, very accomodating. My party of 4 wanted a quiet booth in back and that was no problem. Our waitress was extemely honest and helpful in choosing what to eat. Matzoh Brei, Lox and Bagel, Avocado toast were a hit. When we were done eating, they told us not to rush as they didn't need the table and let us chat until 3pm close time. True customer focused.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, lovely food, and really good service. Prices are respectable too! A nice quick distance from FLL airport or the beach so you can't go wrong. They also have a full bar if you're appreciative of things like that. =) Highly recommend it. Corned Beef Hash was delicious and so is the coffee. The breakfast sausage left something to be desired but everything else was delicious. We will be back.

Yelp
Best diner in the area! I get the pizza bagel every time and it's soooo good. The service is super quick even though they are usually very busy. They have a big menu so there is usually something everyone wants. I usually bring whoever is visiting me from out of town and they always enjoy the place. Staff is very friendly and the food is decently priced. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Pricey but good classy sit down deli near downtown Fort Lauderdale. 4 stars all around: ambience, service and food. 4 star food: food is great but aggressively overpriced. Their version of quinoa power bowl was roughly twice the price you expect. 4 star service: service can be a little spotty. On a couple of different visits there's been a need to forcefully call someone over for refills, final check, etc 4 star ambience: the neighborhood is improving and interior ambience is great. The parking lot and immediate area can be slightly sketchy.

Yelp
We stumbled on this place last year when we were in town. We stayed in the same area again, and have eaten 3 meals here. Service is always great. Food is good and large portions.

Yelp
Live nearby and went for first time today , boy have I been missing out . Food was absolutely delicious Service was outstanding. Tice was our waitress and she's so sweet, gave us recommendations. She was spot on !!! Will be back .

Yelp
We were in town for a couple of days and it was near our hotel. I had read reviews and wanted to go for lunch. It was excellent! Every meal was perfect and the service was superior. Having eaten at many delis, I must say this was one of the best. It brought back many memories. Wish we could have had another meal there. How much did we like it (there were 10 of us)? I would consider cruising from Fort Lauderdale just to have another meal at Top Hat Deli.

Yelp
Awesome food, amazing vibe. A true NY style deli, vs just using that as a catchphrase. The food quality is as good as it gets. Breakfast is delicious dine food with a deli twist (eg, Eggs with latkes), and lunch has all the classics. Most recently I had the brisket sandwich on challah roll, with house-made gravy. Uh, yes. Get it. Desserts are on fire, the cookies are as good as cookies can be, and recently i had the chance to try the blueberry pie. Phenomenal. Everything is just excellent. Best part? The service. With age, I've come to appreciate great service. I sat at the bar (love sitting at a good deli counter) and was completely floored by the service I received from Billy, who has been there almost a decade. Super personable, knows the menu inside and out, and actually makes recommendations tailored to your level of hunger, what you're in the mood for etc, vs. giving a class "Everything is good" answer that we all love to hear - not. He even got down to specifying which desserts are better heated up vs cold - Billy if you're reading this, you made my day with an amazing experience. I live half hour away, and have zero hesitation about going here for breakfast or lunch - what a vibe, what a meal, what a service experience.

Yelp
There have been a number of deli's I've tried in South Florida, and this happens to be one of my favorites. The service stands out here. The service is quick attentive and totally is consistent as "The Nice People"s restaurants' service usually are. The menu selections here for breakfast and lunch are plentiful, especially breakfast. They have a great selection of Omelets and Egg dishes, great fresh white fish and Nova plates, and extraordinary Challah French toast that we split. The portion is large with 2 thick slices of Challah with powdered sugar, granola, blueberries and strawberries on top. Every order comes out timely and so fresh. It's always a pleasure coming here. Thier coffee is great and also serve lattes and Cappuccino. I have basically narrowed my breakfast dining in Ft. Lauderdale to Top Hat Deli if we want just a quick and great fresh meal. I have noticed that all of The "Nice People" restaurants are ALWAYS consistent with top notch food and service. They have a parking lot with ample parking on the side of the restaurant. Sometimes we have had only short waits but they turn the tables pretty quick. Great location near the Flagler Village area right off US 1 and 3rd Street. We will keep going back.

Yelp
Top Hat has always been on my list of places to try but up until recently i had never been. We stopped in for lunch and the first thing you notice is the giant case of sweets! Now that's a view! Then we were greeted and seated. Our waitress came right over and took our drink orders and my sister ordered the pickled platter. I assumed it was a platter of pickles like my mom puts out for the Jewish holidays but instead it was a platter of pickled veggies. A few actual pickles and then beets, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage. She absolutely loved it! Then for the main event. I got the classic Reuben with fries. The sandwich was stupendous! Crunchy rye bread filled with warm corned beef, sauerkraut, melty Swiss cheese and flavorful thousand island dressing. Every bite sends you through an edible excursion! And let's talk about these fries. These fries have NO BUSINESS being this good. They came out hot, crispy, well seasoned and everything fries should be! Needless to say, I'll definitely recommend top hat to anybody and i will make it a point to get back as soon as I can!

Shayla M.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend. Had the reuben with potato salad and the classic with cucumber salad. Customer service was incredible. Thank you Eli! We left full, happy, and warm due to finishing our lunch with a warmed up brookie. Make sure to stop by

Yelp
I do not often say it can be fun to go to a deli, but here I am and it's just a pleasant fun lunch. Staff are friendly and there are not hassles getting in and out -in fact Top Hat has its own free parking lot. The sandwiches are good. I much prefer the pastrami over the corn beef. My fries have been consistency hot which I appreciate. Nice ambiance, good deli food, you are in the right place.

Yelp
The most welcoming and friendliest restaurant I've ever been to. Our server was truly amazing. It was our first time visiting and the food was exceptional. My husband and I shared the classic and the pastrami was to die for. We also shared the pancakes and they were super fluffy and light. Even for a Wednesday morning the restaurant was busy so we knew it was going to be good. Can't wait to come back one day!

I absolutely loved this place and it's staff. And true to its corporate name -- be nice -- everyone was beyond friendly and personable. We sat at the counter during a busy lunch hour in downtown. We got excellent -- prompt and delightful -- service. And the meal we had was delicious. My husband ordered their LEO -- lox eggs and onions -- mixed into scrambled eggs. It came with his choice of whole wheat toast. He ate every bit. Said there was a lot of lox (salmon) in the dish and he really liked it. I got a whitefish (the chunk not the salad) platter. It came with a bagel and cream cheese. There were capers, lettuce and tomato on the plate. I left off the onion. You don't see this too often here in delis or if you do, it is at an exorbitant price. So I just had to order it. It was just the right amount of food, and very fresh. We even had a couple other interesting discussions with other people here -- staff and clients. The burgers are huge. The menu has many appealing items. It's not easy to choose. I wish they were closer to me. I would be here everyday...

Yelp
All of it went well. Best deli I've eaten at in decades. If I had one wish, it would to live closer to Top Hat. The staff is kind and friendly. The food is phenomenal. I've been in Ft. Lauderdale for a work trip and had lunch here on day 2. On day 3 when I returned from work in Miami, I was disappointed to find it closed and didn't have dinner. On day 4, I'm here at Top Hat again. There is a reason the place is busy. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Top Hat is Top Notch!!! A lunch stop here today and they were packed (after eating our lunch we now know why!) We found two seats at the counter and had a very pleasant server great us and took our drink orders as we looked over the menu. I chose the LEO (LOX Egss Onions) with Rye toast and Strawberry jam. Our orders were delivered fairly quickly considering how packed they were. My LEO was huge and had plenty of Lox in the fluffy eggs. The strawberry jam for my rye toast had large chunks of strawberries throughout. This a a very friendly and popular part of the Be Kind restaurant family. So glad we stopped here for lunch and will definitely be back so that I can try their Liver and Onions and the Meatloaf blue plates!

Yelp
Stepped into this place from California to bring sandwiches to my clients here in Florida. My clients were very impressed with their Classic sandwich and their cookies. In fact, I was impressed myself. Cookies were fresh. Soft. Not overly sweet. I ordered the next day again for my next customers to visit. When it's good, it's good! Don't look elsewhere.

Yelp
Plenty of things that need to be cleaned up here. I went for lunch this afternoon and got a turkey sandwich with fries and matzo ball soup. The matzo ball soup was the only thing that was good. The fries are 100% frozen checkers fries from Walmart and not the kind that should be and are normally served at a deli. Had I know they would be that quality I would have got something else. I did the build your own sandwich option for $16 which only let you get one type of meat. I ive never been to a deli when you couldn't get at least 2. I go to Toojays all the time and am able to get 3 for the same price (turkey ham and roastbeef). I asked for turkey road beef and salami and was told my sandwich would cost $40. 40?????. I asked for the manager and she told me it's $15 for each type of extra meat that you want. 15 DOLLARS? EXTRA MEAT IS THE SAME PRICE AS A WHOLE SANDWICH WITH SIDE? Doesn't make any sense at all! I was forced to get turkey only and couldn't believe the quality. Was not the quality of turkey you find in other delis and I got 2 slabs on each half- I was probably served about $4 worth of turkey. I asked for no veggies only turkey cheese and thousand island. They brought veggies, didn't give me cheese , and didn't give me thousand island. Additionally, didn't bend bring me ketchup for the fries. I had to send my sandwich back to get the cheese added that I asked for. The cheesecake here is more expensive then the Cheesecake Factory On top of all of this, it was impossible to enjoy my lunch there as it felt like it was around 60 degrees. Cold air kept blowing on me my 2 friends that were with me at the table. The customers next to me even said it's always cold in there. I asked the manager if she can do something about the vent that was in front of me and she said something along the lines of it was spread out through the whole restaurant. In summary, the fries are cheap fries from Walmart, it's freezing in the whole restaurant, and impossible to enjoy a meal here and stay for long with how cold it is, the prices are high, extra meat is the same price as the entree itself, you can't get a multiple meat combo unless you want to pay the same price as a steak, and the meat quality isn't up to true deli standards unless it's just a the turkey here
