"This vintage steakhouse sits on the 24th floor of Binion’s Gambling Hall. The restaurant slow-roasts each prime rib in a rock salt crust for a minimum of 40 days, seasoning the meat with a delicious combination of garlic, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, and basil. Both the vegetable and mashed potato side dishes change daily; the prime rib cuts are offered at 16 ounces and 24 ounces." - Jen Avison Smith

"Perched on the 24th floor of Binion’s Gambling Hall on the Fremont Street Experience, the steakhouse hails back to 1965 when it was known as Top of the Mint, at what was once the Mint hotel tower. The steakhouse specializes in dry-aged steaks, slow-roasted prime rib, and poached lobster. And while the restaurant’s dining room still boasts vintage Vegas-style furnishings, the real showstopper is the view of Las Vegas that sparkle through the floor-to-ceiling windows." - Janna Karel

The service was excellent, the table and seats were clean. The menu was well put together with many choices. They come and check on you often. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. I like the scenary. Its got an old mob feel to it. It can become pricey especially if you want seafood but it was worth it

Google
Awesome location & view, old Vegas ambiance with Staff that pay just a little Extra attention to details not common anymore. We loved the cocktails, food, perfect portions cooked as requested. Finished off with a couple awesome desserts! Took me nearly 30 years to finally come to Binnions Steak House, won’t wait that long next trip

My husband and I enjoyed Dinner here. It's definitely an OLD steak house, but probably the BEST in Vegas. The views were beautiful The wait staff never skipped a beat. The CHEFS!!! as you see I have no words. The Bartender is heavy handed but so worth it. The portion size was more than I anticipated. We will definitely indulge here again.

One of the first restaurants we went to in Vegas this time around. We were going in with high expectations and we were not impressed. The steak was mediocre at best, the bone marrow was ok. The sides taste better than the meats. We would go back to try something else besides steak. The customer service was phenomenal!

My wife and I were here celebrating my 55th birthday. The atmosphere and ambience were great. Our meal was close to perfection and the service was top notch. Lawrence and German were phenomenal and they did not skip a beat. We come to Fremont 2-3 times a year and we will be adding Top Of Binibons Steakhouse to our regular stops!

Halloween dinner reservation. Was greeted pleasantly by the hostess and, after a brief wait, was escorted to one of the curved booths on the second tier. Atmosphere: Old school steakhouse but with some jarring modern fixtures. Plenty of red and gold and floral carpeting, which lent a saloon vibe but then the ceiling, at least in my area, was blah, with recessed lighting, and the wall between the bar and booths had plate glass windows. Music was so quiet as to be imperceptible. View out the window from my seat was OK. Food: Amazing and amazingly generous. A whole loaf of complimentary, deliciously crusty bread, with three types of salt, and an amuse-bouche of lime sorbet before the meal. Ordered the 7oz Rib Cap ($59) at medium-rare, and it was perfect. Plate came with snappy green beans. I substituted the included starch side for the $4 loaded baked potato, and it was a stuffed softball-sized monster. Also had a glass of $12 Bogle Twenty Acres cab; very decent pour. Service from Salvatore and Duke was nice and businesslike. Separately, would have liked a table scrape up of the bread and salt flakes between courses; had seen other tables receive that, and my tablecloth was a disaster by the time my main arrived. Value: Unbelievably fabulous.

Google
This is a vintage downtown Vegas steakhouse. The view alone is worth a visit. The food was generally good, steak cooked as directed. We shared the prime rib with risotto, grilled ceasar, escargot. Too full to have dessert but would have tried either the bread pudding or baked Alaska. The staff was attentive. The old fashioned was a disappointment, no single cube and they used maraschino cherries instead of Luxardo.

Google
I chose Top of Binions as my last night in Vegas fancy meal and it did not disappoint in the slightest! The views were amazing and the food was even better! I got the 8oz fillet medium rare and it was cooked perfectly! Service was amazing with attentive servers that were very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
If you are looking for the PREMEIR fine dining experience in downtown Las Vegas then you must book a reservation at Top of Binions. From the friendly host who greets you to the great wait staff, and genius chefs in the kitchen you are in for an awesome evening. The restaurant itself is the typical oppulence you expect from Las Vegas, but the view is a unique distraction that keeps pulling your eye for another look. We started with the chicken fried lobster for two Appetizer. The lobster was tender and moist and came with drawn butter, hollandaise, and a roumalade for dipping. It was the perfect start for the evening. All three sauces were great but my friend really liked the roumalade and I was a huge fan of the drawn butter. After all what goes better with lobster than butter! For dinner my friend had the prime rib with garlic mashed potatos ( his favorite side here) and the veggie that night, sauted carrots. The meat was cooked perfectly and he enjoyed it immensely. The carrots were tender, and the potatos his favorite. I had the chicken in a mustard creme sauce with a baked potato and the carrots. The chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork, and the sauce was tangy and delicious. My baked potato was great but the chicken was so good, I didnt get to much of my potato. Major kudos to the kitchen staff for putting out such excellent food. All in all I look at it this way, you can spend 2 hours having an amazing dining experience or you can spend 2 hours at the craps table and lose more than the meal would have cost.

Yelp
Wanted to just go to the bar this time and have a few drinks and appetizers. Something we have never done. We always go for the full on dining room. Well lucky for us... we sat down and were greeted by Rene'. Our mixologist that honestly... was the highlight of our night. We come to Vegas often as we live in Phoenix . Easy drive. We always dine at Top of Binions. I started with an old Fashioned. Husband had a Martini. As we started chatting at looking at the menu... we decided on Crab Cakes as Appetizer... and Scallops for dinner. And of course more cocktails.. Let me tell you... I loved every minute of sitting at that bar. Told Rene' we were in town for our 30 th Anniversary.... To our surprise after dinner we were delighted with a molten chocolate cake. So special and thoughtful. We can't wait to return. Having dined out for 6 days in LasVegas. In some amazing restaurants... we agree.... Our best night was Top of Binions because of the superb attention and service by Rene'. Thank you so much!

Yelp
We had a memorable experience at Binion's Steakhouse and glad we stopped by. Fantastic view overlooking old town Vegas. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Romantic classy ambience. Perfect for date night. Let's dive into the food::: Sourdough bread::: Comes with meal. We are off to a great start. Oyster Rockfeller::: Excellent! A touch of seaweed was an excellent combination of flavoring. Lamb chops::: Well seasoned and not gamy at all. Well done! Prime Rib::: Delicious! Meat tender and just perfect. Definitely come back! Overall, excellent experience, and would come back for prime rib, service, and ambiance. Highly recommended!

Yelp
In my reviews I try to provide enough info so people like me can enjoy good food and have a great experience. My 5 stars says it all!! The ambiance was old school and classy, from leather seating, linen tablecloth to china settings and the AMAZING view from the 24th floor. Spectacular sights of the city and surrounding areas. Now let's talk food and service... our 3 man staff provided superb attention to details, and to our dining experience. My starter was the French Onion Soup that did not disappoint followed by the mouth watering Filet Mignon with whipped garlic mash potatoes. My husband choose the New York Steak with Lobster and sent back compliments to the chef. Our meal ended with a special treat recognizing our Anniversary. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience that will keep you coming back, like us!!

Yelp
This was our 2nd time here, our first time maybe 12+ years ago on a special occasion meal. We do not come down to Fremont often, but I remember the special magic of this steakhouse. While the casino is run down, when you get to Top of Binion's it does not feel the same and you step into a vibe of an old school steakhouse with touch of elegance and old world Vegas. The views are really lovely from up here as well. The menu has all the traditional items you would want from a solid upscale steakhouse. Our table ordered the chicken fried lobster (yum) starter, Caesar salad, King Crab Legs, and a couple Filet Mignons. All of the food was prepared perfectly and really delicious. The server staff was very attentive ensuring we were well taken care of. I truly hope this gem survives what is happening in the hotel/casino below it as it is a piece of history that must survive that serves up great service and food!

Yelp
The ambiance was great, overlooking Fremont Street. The service by Salvador was top notch, very attentive and quite a historian since he's worked at Binion's Steakhouse for decades. The bone in ribeye was perfectly cooked medium rare and mouth watering. The seasonal vegetables and loaded baked potato were a great pairing with good flavor. The only knock on Binion's was their Manhattan cocktail. They use house marinade bing cherries instead of luxardo cherries. The house marinated bing cherries were very good, but not quite enough to elevate the cocktail to where it needed to be. The flavor just wasn't there. Other than that particular cocktail, I'd recommend Binion's Steakhouse to others.

Yelp
WSOP Day 27 - The halfway mark. Binion's was the home of the WSOP. Capping off any play at the Top of Binion's Steakhouse meant rubbing elbows with the game's greats. The poker world has all but forgotten this spot, and modern steakhouse trends and the pandemic has transformed the menu but make no mistake, this is still a historic steakhouse of yesteryear. True classics remain served in hearty portions at good prices. Put it another way, all steaks come with bread service, veg, and a choice of giant baked potato or side. Straight to it, yes to the classic escargot in herbed garlic butter. Yes to the oysters Rockefeller with the thick bacon lardoons and tangy hollandaise and YES to the chicken fried lobster (deep fried breaded lobster tails in the same buttery, tangy hollandaise and caper remoulade at the ready to pour over) All good. To the steaks. All USDA Prime sourced from Creekstone Farm. All Black Angus cattle. All aged 40+ days. Decent trim leaving enough fat cap for crisped up goodness. Nice sear / caramalization. Cooked close to temp (slightly over). No complaints on my pieces of the 24oz T-bone or the 16oz NY or 24oz NY all intended for ONE. The star, the 24oz prime rib. All stellar in their simplicity. OK service. There are lapses and up selling isn't the best but is there. Solid wine program though lacking in vintage depth. It remains one of the best, old school stalwarts of Vegas, for those content with having a duo of saltines in a plastic wrap as a nostalgic treat. Solid and nostalgically, perfect.

Yelp
I've been coming here for 33 years. The food is fantastic and the service is always superb!

Yelp
Back again ! Couldn't wait. Love the old school charm and the view. Sat at the bar again and had the Ribeye, Risotto and Baby Carrots, and the French Onion Soup (def 1 of my top 3). Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This steakhouse has been around for years and rightfully so. Old school dining at its finest. We visit Top of Binion's each visit to Vegas. Got the Filet Mignon with lobster, garlic mashed and ribeye with loaded baked potato. Both were perfectly cooked, they did the ribeye blackened perfect. Make your reservations 1/2 hour before sunset and dinner is complete. Waitstaff are helpful with suggestions, attentive but not intrusive. We love Binion's!

Christopher K.

Yelp
I was happy to get a reservation on 10/28/24. I was solo this time so I asked to be seated at the bar. I always like to sit at the bar when solo. And they were more than happy to accommodate me. The bartender was so friendly, and made delicious martinis. Great conversation with him as well. My server was very attentive and friendly. The meal started with a loaf of bread...could've eaten the whole thing. I had the filet with side of risotto and veg of the day, which was green beans. The service timing was great and the food was so good!! Cooked to perfection. I did get into the dining room to check it out and took some photos of the great view. Really special place.

Yelp
Top of Binion's Steakhouse. Date of Dining: Friday September 6, 2024 I been coming to Vegas for years and Binion's for poker and gaming and had never been to the steak house. Friends on mine swear by the place and when the wife and I saw it rated as #1 ranked steakhouse on YELP we took the plunge. Added bonus, parking was free when showing your dining receipt. Our reservation was for 6PM on a Friday night and despite the great YELP reviews we were very skeptical. The casino is OLD, the garage is OLD, the elevator is OLD, and the décor is old Vegas gaudy OLD. We traveled up to the 25th floor with exceptionally low expectations only to experience our best dining experience in Vegas lifetime. HOLY MOLY !!!! it was great from start to finish. We had an (old) but amazingly comfortable booth, service was insane with THREE waiters blanketing our table providing easy, fun, and informative service. I am including tons of pics here and a video if it loads. If video does not appear, feel free to find me on Facebook at North Shore Dining (Real) for full review and video. So, the menu is huge, the prices are reasonable and instantly we have water, our drinks are ordered, and one waiter delivers TWO warm loaves of bread with TWO types of whipped butter. We been there 10 minutes and shocked. Next up was a wedge salad which the waiter said was large enough for two people and he was right. The dressing was made in house and all the vegetables we amazingly fresh. WOW! And as a first ever, they provided a small pouring cup of extra dressing!!!! WOW After we finish the salad and most of the bread (LOL) the lead waiter arrives with two small bowls of lemon sorbet. What is this I ask???? The waiter says, "it to clean and prepare your pallet for the main course" WOWOWOWOWW WHAT !!!!!! it was great, and it worked!! Next up we decided to split the 24-ounce cowboy rib eye bone in, added a loaded potato and vegetables. They offer split dinners with full everything for $20, so we did that and got all the sides. In addition to the loaded baked potato (+$4.00) I got the mac n cheese. Excellent choice. The steak was HUGE !!!! tasty, tender, juicy. The sides were great, extra plates and bowl's, change of utensils all during the meal. So impressive. For dessert there were multiple choices with most of them prepared tableside. The daily special was tableside banana foster. Here we are with low expectations, and again we are blown away. Our waited wheeled out the buggy and prepared in and it was huge and incredibly great!!!!!! The bill with two drinks was only $171.00 pretax. We left totally stuffed with elite food, incredible great service, and a huge smile. Highly recommended for anyone, just a shocker wonderful experience.

Yelp
If you're looking for a great place for date night, this is a great option. You can come dressed up or casual. The restaurant is right in Fremont at the Top of Binion (literally). Upon exiting the elevator, you're immediately greeted by the host. The restaurant has a vintage romantic vibe, like something out of an old mobster movie. The team of servers are very pleasant. The views are stunning. From our seat, we had a straight shot of the strip and were overlooking all of Downtown. Food: Appetizer loaves of bread; 1 cheese and 1 sourdough. Both were fresh and delicious, but my fave was the cheese. Before our entree came out, they served us raspberry sorbet "to clean our pallet," and that was a super sweet treat. For our entree, we ordered the cowboy and split the plate for an additional $18. Sides we had baked potato, mac and cheese, and asparagus. I requested the steak medium, but it was a little on the rare side. I also did not care for the mac and cheese. It was a little gritty. Overall, this was a very nice dining experience, and I would recommend it.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Always my favorite steak restaurant in Vegas Make reservations

Yelp
On our last night in town, while visiting my brother, we decided to splurge and have our final meal at Top of Binion's steakhouse. I made a reservation for the three of us for 5:15 PM on a Saturday. We had an evening flight to catch so I wanted to give us enough time to enjoy our meal and not feel rushed. The service was kind and attentive, and what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. The space itself is quite dated, but it is almost a historical monument in Las Vegas at this point. To start, we were served some of their delicious fresh hot bread and butter. All three of us also placed an order for some of their French onion soup. They have some of the best French onion soup I have had outside of France. For my meal, I decided to splurge and ordered the filet mignon while my husband ordered the ribeye steak and my brother ordered the prime rib. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our cuts, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we did not save room for dessert, but the view and the company were the perfect end to the meal.

Yelp
This is my new favorite Steakhouse! There didn't seem to be much of a dress code which I appreciate. The ambiance was so cool. What an incredible view! Our servers were so nice, very funny and very attentive! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Oysters Rockefeller was light and creamy. The Lobster bisque is unmatched! I had the 16 oz Ribeye with the blue cheese was one of the best steaks I've ever had! The risotto was so good! I'll be back every time I come back to Vegas! Side note: We went to Oscars in the Plaza the night before. Oscars fell flat on its face compared to this experience!

Thomas W.

Yelp
I had to find my Yelp login information just to post a review. I'll be honest, it wasn't the best steak I've had in my life. But the service, accompaniments, and general vibe of the place is incredible. It was worth coming all the way to Fremont Street just for this meal. Jeffery made our experience, and we will be back in January to hopefully see him again!

Lin G.

Yelp
I have to admit I enjoyed myself here. We had a friend from out of town and we wanted to show her something authentically Vegas. What better place that Binion's Steakhouse! There's history. A stunning view. It's downtown. They validate parking. Had exceptional service. My friends ordered some cocktails and wines, all looked delicious. My cowboy ribeye was delicious and I loved the sides that they included. The bread was yummy too and I don't eat bread. A flawless evening, reminiscent of Bugsy era steakhouse experience. Also a great starting point to explore Fremont and get a drink or night cap at the Whiskey place they have on the second floor. This was a great experience and I will keep in mind for future outings and cravings for a good old fashioned steak.

Gregory P.

Yelp
First of all you will find a amazing view of downtown Las Vegas while eating! The steakhouse is top floor of Binions casino and has been there since 1965!!! The service is top notch and also pretty formal, so you might have to dress up a bit. Food is always on top, the Grilled Caesar salad is the best in town!!! Try it if you never have had drilled salad! Don't sleep on the steak either! The offer bread in the beginning but don't fill up, they also even offer a Sorbet to cleanse your pallet between meals. Enjoy!

Lori S.

Yelp
Five Stars across the board! Food was excellent! Service was phenomenal! We had a table by the window with awesome views! The Bone Marrow appetizer was off the hook! So delicious! Steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were great! The drinks are excellent as well. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Vegas.

Stevie P.

Yelp
What a wonderful meal! We were in Vegas for our anniversary to see Love at the Mirage and opted for dinner at this steakhouse. It did not disappoint!! First, the ambiance is like taking a step back in time in the best way possible! The restaurant is on the 24th floor and the views are spectacular!! I can only imagine dinner at sunset would be stunning. The bread service was yummy! There was sour dough and a cranberry walnut bread that was amazing and we simply will need to learn to bake!! We both opted for the filet and they were cooked to perfection and served with potatoes and a lovely green bean medley. Absolutely delicious! Lovely surprise at end of our meal was a lava cake that was mouth watering along with a congratulatory card. We still opted to try the Baked Alaska and that did not disappoint! Our servers Kevin and Nick were delightful and took great care of us. I wish we lived closer because we would definitely return for a meal! Be sure to make time to visit this Steakhouse when in Vegas, you will NOT be disappointed!!

Jennifer K.

Yelp
I don't normally leave reviews but wanted to share our experience and appreciation for the wonderful staff. On our nephews last night with us in Vegas last week he really wanted a steak dinner. We didn't have a reservation but were immediately sat and our service team was amazing. We enjoyed tasty appetizers-Short Rib Mac n Cheese, Bone Marrow, along with a Wedge salad. Delicious entrees- the steaks were cooked to perfection and the crab legs are to die for! The service team provided the best service we have had in a long time...from any restaurant. Will definitely put this restaurant at the top of our list for our next Vegas trip!

Sam V.

Yelp
Old School as they come! Great service and prices. This will definitely be a place I'll check back out when I'm back in Vegas in October.

Elida B.

Yelp
First of all the service was great Juan and Rolando they give us a big smile and very good service later the appetizer bone marrow and the big shrimp so delicious we continue our food with a great steak the steaks here are delicious flavorful juicy one of the best on Fremont. I almost forgot about the delicious pallet cleansing cranberry sorbet, I highly recommend the place .

lila S.

Yelp
Service is a 11, best service, food is generous portions and cooked to perfection. Always a winner! Ambiance very nice, not noisy, can speak in a normal voice and can still hear each other. Great place.

Yelp
Finally we made it to Top of Binion's Steakhouse! My bf birthday was the special occasion for us to celebrate. Made reservation way ahead of time to make sure everything is going smoothly. I sent in the list of things my bf might be allergic to, so he won't be served anything dangerous to him. I requested a window seat knowing the view from the restaurant is phenomenal. Everything above went okay except the seating. They seated us in the middle of the dining room and of course I had to say something about it. Of course we had to wait until another table was available for us. Surprisingly, we were not offered to sit in the bar to get a drink while we were waiting, instead they made us wait awkwardly in the front by the hostess desk. Walnut is one of the ingredients my bf is allergic to and guess what, the bread arrived to the table had walnuts in it. Luckily I noticed that before he had a bad reaction to it. The waiter removed the bread and we waited pretty long to get new ones (plain, no walnuts) After that our dinner arrived almost too fast, even though we had cocktails and ordered steaks ... I thought we might spend a little more time and able to celebrate the birthday. We felt rushed! Our dinner was delicious though! Shrimp Cocktail was absolutely my favorite one. Shrimps were big and tasty with couple of different sauces on the side. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. Green beans were also tasty. The lemon sherbet was excellent between the meals! For dessert, my cream brûlée was very good. Bf received a complementary chocolate lava cake with a candle on top of it, made his birthday more special! Thank you for the special treat! Waiters and busboys were attentive, cleaning tables often ... although, the waiters got confused sometimes, lol Overall, we had a great time with a pretty view of the city and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the good service.

Nette B.

Yelp
I'm glad that I was able to dine here right when they reopened after being closed due to Covid. Follow the signs to the restaurant. Unfortunately for me, the elevator to the restaurant was closed and we had to find the detour way. Service was good and the views from the top of Binion's are beautiful. Food: 2 Loaves of Complimentary Bread Steakhouse Mac & Cheese Garlic Mashed Potato Maple Bourbon Glazed Poek Belly Chimichurri Sea Scallops Rib Eye Steak -Medium Washed down with a couple of glasses of wine. All the dishes were delicious and yummy. I loved the char of the steak. The pork belly was equally delicious. Overall, I'd return again to try different dishes.

Yelp
We stopped in here for dinner, we were in town for the Raider game and thought a weekend on Fremont St would be fun. I owed my wife a good dinner and we put our name on the list at Binion's Steakhouse. The 5th star was lost due to the bar, If you are not interested in drinks my review of the food and service would have been 5. The bar; as we waited I ordered my wife a dirty martini with blue cheese olives. "Sorry, no blue cheese olives, it's been a busy evening." It was 7pm! The wait wasn't bad, the host was a good old school representative of an old steakhouse. The waiter was good, and the gentleman who brought the bread gave a great explanation of the type of bread and the types of butter along with the 3 salts. I know it sounds odd but the guy was professional and the bread was amazing. So I ordered an Old Fashion, they had the bourbon I wanted but it was served with ice cubes rather than a ice block! Old school steakhouse should know how to serve an Old Fashion. The drink was ok but you can imagine how disappointed I was. The food, the baked potato was delicious! The Ribeye, very good. My wife enjoyed her NY cut and loved the mashed potatoes. The meal in itself was great, the ambience was good. There was a party of ladies celebrating a birthday and they were very loud. Hey, it's Vegas and people are out to have a good time. I only mention it because some people might be turned off by a loud dinner spot. The price might dictate a place that's a little quieter. All in all, worth giving it a try.

David S.

Yelp
Just an absolute fabulous dinner. My cowboy steak was perfect. The views were spectacular. The charm of the place is self evident. Awesome birthday dinner.

Nicoline C.

Yelp
This place has class. The decor and ambiance remind me of old-school steakhouses. Nice booths and window views are so beautiful, especially when the Vegas lights come on in the evening. We had Oscar and Lawrence aa servers. Didn't get a chance to interact with Oscar as much, but Lawrence was very engaging. He gave us a brief history of the restaurant. Very niceservice. We ordered the primerib. It was so delicious. The bread and the various salts were amazing.. If you like risotto, order that. It's very creamy, and it's made to order. I loved it. You will, too

Steve S.

Yelp
Just went. Regret I did. Ordered cowboy steak medium rare and crab cakes. Steak didn't taste great and the crab cakes was more like bread cakes not to mention it was $40. Never again. Quite possibly the worst steakhouse I tried in vegas. It's a toss up between this and Hugo cellar

Sabrina C.

Yelp
This place has the official old school Vegas feel vibe, so I loved that! With that being said if you go DO NOT sit under a fan otherwise you'll freeze. Lol This place is so old that their heating/cooling infrastructure needs to be updated ASAP! We had to switch tables it was so uncomfortable! I ordered the 16 Oz Ny with blue cheese & my hubby got the rib eye. we ordered medium rare & both came out OVER COOKED!!! We had to send them back! Took forever to get our steaks out the second time around! When we finally got them I wasn't impressed. At this point I was just freezing & starving. This place gets packed! So I recommend reservations! However the taste of the food is just meh. If you're in Vegas & want to try a Vegas classic I recommend Hugo's cellar at the 4 Queens.

Mary S.

Yelp
Wanted to celebrate our anniversary vintage style. Top of Binion's steakhouse delivered. The restaurant is located on the 24th floor of Binion's Horseshoe Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. The ambiance has the look and feel of when Vegas first began. Being on the 24th floor you get gorgeous view of Downtown Vegas. Service was excellent. Our drinks were never empty. Once done eating our plates were picked up right away. Food was very good with large portion sizes. Enjoyed everything about our celebration.

Becky H.

Yelp
Just pass on this one... This place was a complete let down from the venue to the service to the food.

B M.

Yelp
Very classic steakhouse with an amazing view. I was able to enjoy my meal with a friendly staff and attentive waiter. I ordered the French onion soup which was very unique and tasty, had a beefy/chicken broth flavor that was a pleasant surprise. The crab cakes were hug and had a nice texture with the added celery.

Yelp
The service and food exceeded our expectations. Both of our waiters were great and we never waited for anything. The ambiance is very calm and quiet, a perfect date night treat. Will definitely be going every time we are in Vegas

Yelp
Been going for years, my parents have been going there for 40 years, fantastic location and views. Went for wedding anniversary dinner on July 8th... was greatly disappointed...daughter ordered steak rare came out medium well, after sending back was cooked properly, daughters boyfriend ordered lobster tail , he ate most of it but it too was overcooked. My veal was cooked properly but sauce was very salty, wife's prime rib ordered rare plus came out medium....this was our go to Steak House in downtown Vegas was always excellent.... But this was a horrible experience.... On our anniversary

Yelp
This is my first time here. The restaurant is on the 24th floor of the Binion's Hotel . Top of Binion's Steakhouse was originally known as "Top of The Mint" when The Mint tower was completed in 1965. The views from this spectacular steakhouse were second to none and this holds true today. Binion's is now owned by Terry Caudill and the views are more breathtaking than ever. Located on the 24th floor, this gourmet restaurant is a step back in time with its vintage Vegas décor, romantic atmosphere and first class service. We proudly serve Creekstone Farms Black Angus Beef, aged a minimum of 40 days to maximize tenderness, always cut in our in-house butcher shop. Our steaks are charbroiled on an open flame to your liking. Some select menu items include rib eye, filet mignon, prime rib of beef, and cowboy steak. We offer unique appetizer selections including "Binion's classic chicken fried lobster", maple bourbon glazed pork belly, and short rib mac & cheese to name a few. Along with delicious charbroiled steaks, we also offer delicious entrees, including lobster Newburg, chimichurri sea scallops, and risotto champignon for a vegetarian option. Entrées are served with fresh hot baked bread, fresh vegetables, choice of loaded baked potato, risotto, steakhouse mac 'n' cheese, or Yukon garlic mashed potatoes. We invite you to experience the Top of Binion's Steakhouse, where you will step back in time to relax, take in the view and most importantly, enjoy a delicious culinary experience. Definitely a great meal!

Yelp
Old School Charm. Waiters and staff are professional and extremely well mannered. With a little sense of humor mixed in. Great View. Great Food. Steaks were large and the loaded baked potato was perfect. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Atmosphere - Excellent. An old world Steakhouse with a nice view, the restaurant has a great atmosphere. There are 4 top tables along the window and raised half moon booths with nice views as well. Service - Excellent. A team consisting of three covers each table and they are excellent. We wanted for nothing and they did a very good job of making us feel as a valued customer. Food - Mixed experience. I ordered the Burrata Caprese Salad and the Ribeye Steak. The salad was very good. The burrata cheese was fresh and creamy. The only slight disappointment with the salad was that the beefsteak tomato was sliced very thin. The reason my rating is three stars relates to my steak. First let me say that I am very familiar with the difference between a ribeye and other steaks (such as filets and strip steaks), which is that ribeyes have significantly more marbling. On the plus side the marbling adds flavor. The disadvantage is that a less than optimal cut can result in a significant amount of fat. I love ribeyes when the cut is good, because they can be extremely flavorful and tender. Years ago I ate at this restaurant and the ribeye was excellent. This time? Not so much. There was so much "marbling" that it dominated the cut. It was a 16oz steak, so I would have been fine working around the marbling. However, what was not fat was extremely tough. It was so tough I needed to cut the steak into tiny pieces to chew it. I did not raise an issue with our server because we were dining with friends and I did not want them to know how unhappy that I was with the steak. In the end, I left an entrée that was less than half eaten, which clearly had a lot of fat. I am not sure what was more surprising/disappointing; that a steakhouse restaurant of this quality would serve such a poor cut, or that the server (who had to notice the large amount of uneaten steak, with lots of fat, did not ask me if there was a problem with the entree. ) Overall Value and experience - Disappointing. Although I am sure that this was unusual for the restaurant (in fact, everyone else in my group were very pleased with their meal), for this dining experience I have to rate this 3 stars.

Yelp
Classic Vegas! I was actually blown away at how well the staff performed, how incredible the food was and just the overall old vibe of Vegas. My date and I went there for our very first time and kept commenting on how this was a hidden gem here in Las Vegas.

Yelp
I had to adjust our booking the same night with next to no notice, expecting to get cancelled and WOW--what a great group of staff at this place. Not only did they adjust our reservation, but they sat us in one of the top 3 seating views downtown. Wow! Impressive because this place is hard to get into, and the view is just 'VEGAS'. The staff treated us like family, not like tourist. The food--WOW! We had a party of 6 and everyone tried/shared the food and it was spectacular. I have to call out the lamb chops--good god man, they are off the hook spectacular (as was every dish in our group from the filet, ribeye, NY strip, scallops--I could continue). Visit this place! I'm picky, and everything about this place is a great experience. I have already told a few friends visiting Vegas in the next few months 'If you don't LOVE this place, I'll pay.' It's that good!

Yelp
Went to 3 " Big League" steak houses while in Las Vegas this trip. Gordon Ramsey Steak, Golden Steer, and Here. This was the best priced one, got the best bang for the Buck! It's not the others were bad, this was just better! It was one of our 3 Anniversary dinners. All 3 asked if was a Special Occasion. The other 2 did nothing , gave us a card and a free desert. We had cowboy ribeye, (outstanding) with loaded baked potato & veg of the day(not great, I'm from the south, I like my green beans falling apart, and reeking of bacon or ham) she had prime rib , she said it was amazing. We finished off with our free desert a Lava cake, I was amazing! But I am fat, and wanted to try baked Alaska! It was beautiful and great table side show! Give a major shoutout to Jeffery! I kept telling my wife he reminded me of my father in law! He was awesome!! Recommend it whole Heartedly !

Yelp
We chose Top of Binion's Steakhouse for our formal dinner this trip to Vegas after reading quite a few reviews on Yelp. They start you off with a loaf each of Cranberry Walnut Bread and Sourdough. They are served with a traditional butter as well as a delicious honey butter. There are 3 kinds of salt that were very good as well. My 24 oz Cowboy Rib Steak looked really good. It had a nice char on it. It didn't have a lot of flavor so I added some of our leftover butter and salt to it. I ordered it cooked medium and it was cooked to the proper temp. It was a little tougher to chew than I was expecting. My wife ordered the 8 oz Filet cooked medium. When she cut into it, it was undercooked to her liking. Had a nice char on the outside but was quite rare. She wasn't going to be able to eat it that way so we sent it back to get it to the right temperature. Once we got it back it looked better but was still on the medium rare side. She said it was tougher to chew than normal. The service was very good, the ambiance and views were very good. It was an experience that we wanted to check out so we are glad that we tried it. I guess I am kind of a Steak Snob with my expectations but I'm not sure that I'm buying that their steaks are aged 40 days. Recap: Service: 10 of 10 Breads: 10 of 10 Mac & Cheese: 7 of 10 Asparagus: 8 of 10 Filet: 5 of 10 Cowboy Ribeye: 7 of 10

Yelp
You won't go wrong with this affordable old school Vegas steakhouse located in the top floor of Binion's on Fremont Street. You can expect and receive amazing views, service and top rate food in this vintage Vegas restaurant. We were celebrating our Anniversary and were seated on time for our 730 reservation. We started with 2 warm scrumptious loaves of bread with soft butter and a selection of savory salts which was hard to resist. We then shared the lobster, crab supreme dip which we both loved. Our entrees included your choice of potato. His salmon served with bearnaise sauce was cooked to his liking and well presented. My filet was perfectly cooked and I opted for the mash, and bordelaise sauce. We decided on a side of carmelized onions which was enough for 4 people! Our server Guzman was so friendly and we appreciated the outstanding customer service from him and his team. They treated us to a complimentary special occasion dessert which made a memorable experience we won't soon forget. I look forward to going back again on our next trip to Vegas.

Yelp
This place has the feel of old time Vegas and that's what we wanted. We had reserved a seat and were thrilled to be near the window for the nice views. There is a crew of 3 people that take care of you, so you never lack service. I started with a nice glass of Pinot Noir and it was a good pour for $13. The menu is fairly limited because they focus on being a steakhouse. There is a variety of appetizers and salads. They brought a plate of bread for the 4 of us. One sourdough loaf and one rosemary. There were 2 kinds of butter and 3 different salts to add. Yummy!!!! I opted for the lobster bisque to start and then the 8 oz filet mignon with a loaded baked potato. Asparagus was the vegetable of the day and since it's my favorite, I was thrilled. The presentation for the soup was very nice. There was a small piece of lobster and a crostini in the bowl and they poured the soup in front of you. The soup was flavorful and rich, but way too salty for my palate. They did give you a lemon sorbet next in order to cleanse your palate. We did wait awhile for our entree, but it was great as we could enjoy the views and conversation. My filet arrived and the plate looked delicious. The baked potato was HUGE. My steak was perfectly cooked at medium and I knew when I saw it that it was too much for me. I had wanted a 6 oz, but 8 was the smallest they had. The filet was moist and tender, the asparagus crisp and tasty. The baked potato was loaded with cheese, bacon, sour cream and butter, but was barely warm, which was super unfortunate because the flavors were great. We were all too hungry for dessert, but were able to watch a neighboring table and they looked amazing.
