Halloween Pop-Up Black Lagoon Is Returning to Seattle | Eater Seattle

"After a tough stretch since its Alki shop closed in 2021 during the West Seattle Bridge closure, Top Pot has returned to West Seattle on California Avenue near Alaska Street, a welcome comeback for longtime fans of the popular chain." - Harry Cheadle

If you charge $4 for a doughnut, it should not have completely raw dough in the middle. Most of ours did. Had the doughnuts been cooked properly, they would have been good.

I ordered one of their new drinks: Strawberry Mango BobaChiller! Soo yummy i’m obsessed with the mango popping bobas in it! Can’t wait to try some of the other new items!

Google
The filled doughnuts my kids said were fine, the apple fritter just alright. But the cake doughnuts?? Atrocious!!!!! So dry, way to cakey, and way to expensive, and the customer service leaves MUCH to be desired, save yourself the /25$ doughnuts and find a better spot!!!

Delicious, friendly, and great atmosphere! What a wonderful business to go into this central location in West Seattle. Love seeing Julia behind the counter—what a lovely human to be doling out coffee, donuts 🍩 and community!

Google
I deducted a couple stars just for the fact that their sale system makes you tip before you can total out, never shows the total and I was not offered a receipt. Tipping for putting a donut in a bag?The service industry just got a raise and I'm expected to tip just for you doing your job. Now if I asked you to make a coffee or something custom then I have a choice to tip, but the system gives only tip options in order to close out the sale. I just think it's tacky.

This place was the overall winner in our side by side taste test with Voodoo Doughnuts. Top Pot has a good selection, fresh and very tasty, very friendly staff, good amount of seating. My only regret is that I didn't try the Ovaltine Latte. Stop by and enjoy!

Google
Amazing donut shop. Tried the cookies and creme, delicious all around. The dough is soft and the oreo toppings were very tasty. Recommended if in the West Seattle area. Would come back.

Fast and friendly service with a large variety of flavors. Raspberry bullseye donut was tasty. Large clean indoor space with a good amount of seating.

Yelp
My favorite study and work place! I'm a sucker for Vietnamese coffee and a glazed doughnut. This location is quiet/chill and the workers are friendly. This is a weekly spot for me.

Yelp
Top pot in West Seattle is our favorite donut shop. They have the best maple bars and the kids love all the sprinkle donuts. The coffee is really good too! This location is new and has plenty of seating. It's nice for bringing in a group or friends or the family. Service is always top notch and friendly. They do run out of their popular donuts but these are the freshest top pot donuts you can get. Check it out

Yelp
We are visiting this area and walked into this location in the Junction in West Seattle. We tried three different donuts- the maple bar, a pumpkin Old Fashioned and a Salted Caramel apple fritter. All were so fresh and delicious! The staff were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We are definitely going back here the next time we are in W. Seattle.

Yelp
Great service and donuts. Happy to be the first to review. I got the glazed old fashion donut and latte. Donut was the best old fashion I've had. My husband started with the opal Vietnamese cold brew but it was quite sweet. They were happy to make him a latte to fix it. He got some other donuts like the apple cider one and it was really good too. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
A local institution. The coffee's great, the donuts are excellent and the vibe is welcoming. The picture of Obama buying donuts on the wall at the 5th Ave location is one of my happy places in these dark times.

Yelp
I bought a mango fritter it was overpriced and nasty. I couldn't taste any mango and the outside was stale almost burned. The counter person clearly hates their job and was miserable. Don't go here you're going to spend 5 dollars on a nasty donut. Go next door to joy dough

Yelp
Visited with my nieces, nephews, and kids. The employees had crap attitudes, they seemed super annoyed we came to buy frickin' donuts at a frickin' donut shop. I don't think we even asked, "do you have anything besides donuts?" If we did then maybe, maybe, maybe they could have popped some 'tude. But I'm pretty sure we didn't. I'll chalk this up to bad culture at this store. If you're slinging sugary cakey stuff and you're miserable you must have crappy bosses.

Yelp
The ambiance is really clean and cozy all at the same time. Lots of really unique drink and donut options.

Yelp
I went to a coffee shop and ordered a chile tea latte and a bacon gag and cheese clock and the Barista said "Coming right up Diva" and started serving Barista realness right in front of me and when I got the drink and tasted it I said "I'm dead as a chile what's in this" and the Barista said "a little bit of boots can I hold a lot of fierce hunni" and I said "wow imagine clocking a gag here" would reccomend, also everyone who works here is hot?! Pay them more or you're not an ally

Yelp
Why stay open till 9pm if you have no doughnuts around 7pm? You can still get coffee but you're a Donut shop, make more donuts and have them till close. Thats like going to an In N Out they tell you they ran out of burgers but they still got soda you can purchase.
