Torchy's Tacos - Review - West Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"This West Midtown Torchy’s is the first Georgia location for the popular chain and their sloganed “damn good tacos.” And the tacos are pretty good. It has the trendy corporate franchise polish—floor-to-ceiling windows, a shelf with branded merch, and a menu hanging above the order counter with print so small it signals they expect you to already know what you want. And if you don’t, we’d suggest the migas breakfast taco (stuffed with eggs, avocado, tortilla strips, and cheese) and our favorite, the Trailer Park (fried chicken, lettuce, and pico). Both prove mass produced menus can still flex perfectly good flavors. Food Rundown The Threesome The dip trio includes creamy guacamole, spicy red salsa, and our favorite thing, the queso—it’s yellow and has chunks of guacamole mixed in with a sprinkle of cotija cheese on top. If you’re riding solo and can’t commit to all three dips, just go with the queso. Migas A flour tortilla holds an enormous portion of eggs, green chiles, avocado, pico, and tortilla strips—it's so full it’s hard to pick up. Our only complaint is that the corn tortilla strips can sometimes be a little too chewy. Trailer Park This is an essential order, especially for first timers. The fried chicken is good (though it could learn a thing or two from some of the fried chicken institutions in ATL) and sits in a flour tortilla, smothered in a spicy poblano sauce. Green Chile Pork The pork is juicy, tender, and topped with slightly spicy green chiles, crumbles of cotija cheese, and cilantro. It comes in a corn tortilla, which doesn’t hold up as well as the flour ones, but it holds together long enough to avoid disaster. Fried Avocado For our vegetarian friends, this is as close as you’ll get to trying the Trailer Park. It has mostly the same ingredients, just swapping out the chicken for lightly fried pieces of avocado." - Juli Horsford

Atlanta Restaurant Openings - Eater Atlanta

"Mike Rypka’s Torchy’s Tacos, a popular Austin-based taco joint, is set to open on August 23 in West Midtown on Howell Mill Road. It will be the chain’s 126th location and the first in Georgia. The Trailer Park taco is a best seller made with fried chicken, green chiles, pico de gallo, and cheese. The new location is hiring for all restaurant positions, including cashiers, bartenders, food runners, expo, prep, grill cooks, and dishwashers." - Henna Bakshi

Queso was great as always but the brisket was really dry. It normally is quite tasty but not so much this time. I generally love the crossroads taco but this time it wasn’t good. The rest of my group all enjoyed their food. Normally when we come here there isn’t a table available. This time only about four tables had customers and a couple of people at the bar. It was very strange to be sitting in a virtually empty Torchy’s.

First time visiting this place. I’ve traveled from Nashville, Tennessee and I had a coworker recommend this place. The lighting, wait for food, and customer service was good. The cashier was even patient with me ordering. It worth coming back to.

Torchy’s Tacos in Atlanta didn’t disappoint! I had tried it in Austin and had liked their tacos a lot. And this location in Atlanta was amazing too. The tacos that we got—trailer park, fried avocado, Baja Shrimp, Brushfire—all tasted divine. We especially liked the Baja shrimp and fried avocado tacos. They’ve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to select from as well. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and it wasn’t busy. The seating area inside is fairly spacious to handle busy hours. The restrooms in the back were clean too. The staff was kind and polite and checked in on us to see if everything was to our liking. Overall a 10/10 experience at this Torchy’s location and I highly recommend visiting here.

I first went to this place in Texas. It was a very unique experience nonetheless. I felt the same way when I visited it here. The food was good and fresh. Skip the corn, it was 5/10 at best. Tacos, chips and queso were definitely on point. Too bad they’re tad on the expensive side.

Google
I tried the Baja shrimp, and while it was pretty tasty, it was a bit too salty for my liking. Not my personal favorite, but definitely not bad. Now, the real standout was The Republican—a brisket taco that completely surprised me in the best way. I had never thought to combine those flavors, but it worked so well. I’d give it a solid 9/10—there’s always room for improvement, but it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Hillbilly Queso, which is loaded with all kinds of toppings. If you’re into bold, hearty dips, you’ll probably love it. I’m a texture person, so it wasn’t totally my thing, but I still found it flavorful and worth trying.

Google
Torchy's Tacos are better than all of the other tacos because they are huge on flavor, more spicer and soooo flavorful. The provide best service. The queso is so delicious w/their fresh house-made chips. Cocktails & Happy hour prices. Located on Howell Mill near 11th street.

Google
Idk why this place is rated so high. The prices were high, 8$ for one taco nothing else. The tacos were mediocre at best. Service was self serve, with food drop off. And it was a building with lights idk why it’s 4.9. It’s a 2 at best. Just above Taco Bell.

Google
Damn good tacos is right. a mess to eat coz thata why they have plenty of napkins. amazing tasty and full of flavor. and pretty good for the money. highly recommend it

Food & drinks were good & affordable! You will have to pay for parking if you stay longer than an hour & half.

Yelp
It is about time!! There is a Torchys in Atlanta midtown area! Great food, fast service, and that special Torchys difference! I have missed Torchys ever since we moved out of Austin Tx. If you haven't tried it get here!! The question is the bomb, the Diablo sauce is fire, and the specialty tacos just superb!!!! I'm telling you make plans to get here asap! While it is still young and before it blows up in popularity and you have to wait for hours to get in. Your tastebuds will thank you!

Yelp
Great for what it is - a quick and casual taco spot! This import from Texas has some of the greatest queso I have ever eaten. Do not leave without an order of the question - pro tip, there is a small size, which is typically enough for 1-2 if you're ordering tacos as well. Parking can be a little confusing but they do validate for 2 hours.

Yelp
From the outside, it first appeared that parking would be a challenge. However, conveniently attached to Torchy's is a parking garage (don't forget to bring your ticket with you because they validate!). My boyfriend and I parked and then walked upstairs, leading us straight into the building to Torchy's interior door. Upon walking into the trendy restaurant, we headed around to the counter to order. There was a line but it moved quick. Surprisingly, although packed, we also managed to snag a high top table. To start, my boyfriend and I ordered a "threesome" appetizer (chips with queso, guacamole, and your choice of salsa--we chose red). It came out quickly and we gobbled up the entire app. That "award winning queso" was definitely the star of the show. It's very special! Second place for us went to the salsa which had the perfect amount of spice to it, and third went to the still delicious guacamole. For our taco choices, we each got a limited time special "Holy Diver" taco on flour tortilla. It's: cooked cabbage slaw, achiote grilled shrimp, diced mango, pickled onions and jalapenos, cotija cheese, jalapeno tartar sauce, cilantro. We also wanted to get the "FoSho" or one of the other avocado tacos, but the associate at the register informed us that they were out of avocado. No worries. Instead, we each got a "Mr. Orange" taco, and my boyfriend got a "Baja Shrimp Grilled" taco. We also ordered a side of rice and beans, and an order of street corn. After finishing our appetizer and sitting for quite a while for the rest of our food, a manager came over to our table and apologized for wait time. My boyfriend and I were feeling very relaxed and unbothered, so we thanked him and told him it was okay. I really appreciated him doing this because a lot of places don't. It was professional and kind. Later, we were told that they didn't have the shrimp that they use for the Holy Diver but had smaller shrimp they could use--we okayed this because at least they still had shrimp! We waited. Finally, our tacos and side of rice and beans arrived and they looked delicious. Another server also stopped by and asked us if we were told that they were out of the corn as well. We said no and he offered to bring some kind of replacement. I asked for the "damn good tots" without bacon, and they delivered. These had the same queso on them as the app so they were delicious! It was such a tiny portion though. For so many "sorry, we're out of..." moments and long wait time, I feel they should have done a little more for us. Maybe a full size tots order (because this had to have been the 1/2 size) or a drink on the house or something. I'm not one of those types of people constantly looking for a freebie, but it was kind of a turn-off to consistently have to say "it's okay" for not one (avocado), not two (standard sized shrimp), but three (Mexican corn) different things... two of which we weren't told until after placing our order, paying, and waiting. I get that they are popular, but to run out of so many things before 6:30PM looks ill-prepared. All in all, while we typically prefer more authentic Mexican restaurants to Tex-Mex (although still honorable) , we found this place to be fun and flavorful! Despite the flubs, I'm sure we will return to try more things.

Yelp
I haven't been to this location since the soft opening and a lot has changed. We sat at the bar to get faster service. The bartender was efficient. The food service is super slow. It took almost an hour to get our food.

Yelp
The Mr. Orange Taco on a corn tortilla was delicious. I really, really like the chorizo spicy queso dip. It's called the Hillbilly Queso or something. Ext time I'll get a bowl. I also had a nice mandarin Jarrito to flush it all down with. A win for me. The Republican was just okay, not for me. And the Brushfire was pretty good as well. But the Mr. Orange was my favorite. I'll come back for that one.

Yelp
The rumors are true, they really are damn good! Location and Parking Located on on Howell Mill Rd in West Midtown, Parking is validated for 2 hours if you park in the deck behind the building (just follow the signs). Once you go up the elevator, turn left and the restaurant is there. No need to risk your life outside in case of inclement weather! Venue and Atmosphere Plenty of bight light and seating will greet you. If you enter from the parking garage door, the restroom is on your left immediately. Go to the front of the restaurant to order at the counter, take a buzzer, and seat yourself. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Our food took awhile to arrive, but they were busy so I get it. Food and Beverages Damn good tacos... and queso... and guacamole. I could stop there but I'll also say that the tacos are pretty generously portioned, the queso is some of the best I've ever had (seriously) and the guac is flavorful and smooth. The steak is also cooked very well and the meats are seasoned wonderfully. I should mention that the "spicy" items (denoted with three chili peppers next to their names on the menu) were only slightly spicy to me. I thought that three peppers meant my mouth would be burning, but everyone has different spice levels I suppose. For the record, I loooooove spicy food and was a bit disappointed that my tongue wasn't singed after 5 consecutive dips of queso. Verdict I'll definitely visit again! Next time I'll get a margarita with my guac.

Yelp
I recently visited Torchy's Tacos, and unfortunately, it didn't leave me impressed. On my first visit, my order was mixed up, and instead of just fixing it, the blame was put on the "new guy" in the kitchen, which felt unnecessary. My mom convinced me to give it another chance, so we went back the following day and decided to dine in. The food was okay, but again there was an issue with our order. This time, my mom was offered an alternative, a bowl, but we were far from impressed. Honestly, we could've gone to Chipotle and gotten a better bowl that would've been worth it. I will say, the tacos were good, but overall, the experience wasn't memorable. I definitely won't be trading Velvet Taco for Torchy's anytime soon. The service was just okay, and even the churros were disappointing--doughy and not worth it at all. Give it a try yourself and let me know what you think, but for me, it's not my go-to spot.

Yelp
We love Torchy's tacos and are very excited that there's finally one in Atlanta. They validate parking, which is terrific since this area only has paid parking. You order at the counter and then sit down to receive your drinks and food. There are tons of different places for you to pick to sit. There's bar seating and tables. We had a group before, so we sat near the patio door because it was a little too cold to sit outside. We love their green chilies queso because it has more than just cheese, and their chips are thin, salty, yummy ones. It does have a little kick, so if someone is sensitive to heat, they won't be able to eat it. I love to eat so much queso that I only got one taco. I picked the salmon one, and it is delicious. My husband got pork and the grilled shrimp. I only tried the grilled shrimp, and it was delicious. I had the hundred tasty margaritas and put a rim around the top. My husband had the Paloma, which was delicious.

Yelp
As Texans, we've been waiting for more of our Texas faves to come to Atlanta. Torchy's is finally here and it didn't disappoint. Tastes just like home. The service is efficient and good. It was pretty busy and loud but we were able to still find a seat. Context to photo--Top left: watermelon Red Bull marg and trailer park (extra trashy), top right: trailer park-hill billy (secret menu), bottom: Mexican candy marg, trailer park (trashy) and brush fire taco

Yelp
Very similar to the Texas locations! Loved our guacamole, queso, and tacos. Trailer park and fried avocado are my favorites. You can't go wrong with any of the breakfast tacos either. Service was great. Parking is free for the building that they validate.

Yelp
Because they are new to the area they weee extremely crowded but it was to be expected. We waited in line for about 20 min but it was definitely worth the wait. I had the tipsy chicken taco and the republican taco! The republican was very good. Didn't care for the tipsy chicken taco but the queso made up for it. The queso is to die for!!! It's really good! Definitely will be back when it dies down some. Parking is available for free for up to two hours just be sure to take your ticket with you as they will validate upon placing your order. Overall, I'd say: Food: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Also they have seating inside and out. If you visit soon take your patience with you!

Yelp
I went to the soft opening yesterday! There's parking in the garage as well as street parking that's like $2 for 2 hours. I know how Atlanta is so I parked a little farther down on the street. We were pleasantly greeted once we arrived. We were instructed with what was on the menu. First of all, the inside is huge. It can easily fit 50-75 people. And also has an outside patio area. The food was delicious! I ordered the Tipsy Chick and the Crossroads along with the Mexican rice. I took of the jalapeños and chiles. The tipsy Chick came with the bacon glaze on the side. The glaze was simply top notch!!! It made my taco mouth watering. The Mexican rice was okay. Nothing really special about it but good as well. My daughter had the Republican and the corn. She loved her tacos but the corn was not too tasty! I tried the corn and it wasn't good. But luckily, we were there for the TACOS and not the sides lol. I also had a drink called Keep It 100 which was delightful! I will definitely be returning. The Tipsy Chick & Crossroads are worth a return visit!

Yelp
Atlanta finally got a Torchy's!! I had been to a location in Austin many years ago, as well as Dallas. So this was my first time having it in quite some time. The tacos were soooo good, and they are so big too. Me and my wife got two tacos each and shared the street corn, and the rice/beans. Everything was so flavorful! It was pretty busy when we went, and It took quite some time to get my food, but I'm sure they've got a pretty tight system now, so shouldn't take too long to get your food. It's located in West Midtown, so it's close to everything! It's a perfect place to grab a bite either before or after a date. There is a garage attached, where they will validate for up to two hours. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is the Tex-Mex place west midtown has been looking for. Went to Torchy's today and man and I happy I went. First of all the space is huge. Plenty of indirect seating with some seating outside too. Parking is in a deck right behind the location so there wasn't any hassle getting there. The team was so friendly and helpful. Everyone was eager to answer questions and offer suggestions. The food. On point. I'm bias the trailer park taco and the Mr. Orange. Love both of them. The Mr. Orange was just a little salty but amazing besides that. The Hillbilly Queso with chorizo might've been my favorite part of the meal. Rich, cheesy, with just the right amount of spice. Also had the house rocks margarita. Great flavor; not too sweet, and a good amount. Glad to have Torchy's added to the West Midtown food scene!

Yelp
Tacos are very fulfilling. Had the republican - my favorite Democrat- eh couldn't eat it - didn't like the taste one but Salmon- eh not bad but not amazing. Probably would get again Guacamole was good Beans was mediocre Street corn was also good

Yelp
Our daughter moved from metro Atlanta to Dallas, TX in January 2024. She has been raving about Torchy's Tacos and told us that they had opened a location in West Atlanta. This great taco joint is located in the Star Metals office building and they validate parking in Torchy's if you use the visitor parking deck. You take an elevator from the first floor parking deck to the second floor and enter the lobby. Torchy's Tacos fronts Howell Mill Rd. You place your order at the front counter so if you enter from the lobby of the Star Metals building then you have to walk around to the front entrance. They also have a bar with numerous big screen TVs above the bar. We came to Torchy's on Sunday afternoon and the Falcons game was being broadcast on all the TVs. The music is cranked up very loud so talking with your friends is challenging but it is a hip atmosphere. We ordered a half order of Green Chile Queso and chips. The queso is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The accompanying chips were thin and crispy and so crunchy. My only complaint was the cook was heavy handed on the salt on the chips. My better half and I ordered two Trashy Trailer Park tacos, one Hogfather taco, and one Tipsy Chick taco. The Trashy Trailer Park tacos are off the chain delicious. The Hogfather taco was also great but beware of the side of Diablo Sauce because it is SPICY but a great sauce. The only disappointment was the Tipsy Chick because they did not serve it with the Bacon Bourbon Marmalade. I asked a server for a serving of this sauce but it was very cold and didn't elevate the taste of the taco. All in a great taco restaurant that you need to try in West Atlanta.

Janine R.

Yelp
We were so excited that Torchy's opened in Atlanta after enjoying it so many times over the years in Houston. If one is to dine in when they mess up one's order, it can be rectified on the spot. However, when the staff messes up the UberEat's order, the only recourse is to call and have the staff say (after much denials that they forgot to put half of the order in the bag and then to hear their surprise when they enviably find it sitting on the counter right next to them) you have to go pick it up if you want it or file for a refund. Staff here is poorly trained. Torchy's, please don't become the Popeye's of messed up orders.
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
I've had 2 disappointing service experiences at Torchy's since they opened their first Georgia location. The service is slow! Their regional manager was there on our first visit, and you could tell the bartender and servers looking after us were trying to hide their mistake from the RM. The kitchen must have lost our ticket because it was 34 minutes before they brought out three tacos and a salad! People who came in after us had gotten their food before ours was ready. They also served us the wrong drink size. Luckily, one staff member who was cutting limes at the bar in front of us chatted with us and kept trying to check in on the kitchen while they sorted our food. On our second visit, my husband's order was wrong, but we took the food to go, thinking it would be prepared faster, and it wasn't. We definitely won't be returning, even to redeem the $5 off they gave us for their first mistake. What a shame because we loved Torchy's in Austin.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise to find out torchys is in Atlanta! Great service w friendly & attentive staff and torchys food rocks

Yelp
Man it was a good night with a welcomed taste of Houston. Visited Torchy's to celebrate a small but significant win for my partner and it did not disappoint. It was my absolute favorite taco spot in Houston when I lived there and when I saw that was going to open soon I knew I had to check it out. What I did know is that the amazing service that I used to receive at Torchy's in Houston would be elevated here in ATL. Kae greeted us with a smile and answered all of my guys' questions (he always has a lot of questions at new food spots). Next, Nashali sprinkled some magic on the quick delivery of our food. The trailer park was delicious and the salmon Baja was super flavorful and filling. The queso is always a hit and my guy loved it too. He had the burrito and a trailer park. Daniel came by and checked on us and that topped of our visit. Food evolves, but Amazing customer service will always leave a lasting impression. Torchy's ATL left one on me.

Yelp
First time visit to Torchy's and it was a pleasant experience. Very easy to order in person or online. The space is welcoming and roomy for dining in. I placed my order for take out and the food was labeled and packed in foil to keep the tacos warm. We enjoyed the additional sauces packed with our order. I will definitely come back to try additional items.
google avatar

Yelp
Arrived for todays soft opening. This place is like an elevated version of velvet taco. Bigger inside, more food options, bigger portions, a full bar and great customer service. I hope they keep doing what they're doing.
google avatar

Yelp
I have a new spot for my love of tacos. My taco hunger will be fulfilled at Torchy's. The tacos here are to die for, and the servers are very nice and sometimes very funny! The vibe is always right at Torchy's!

Yelp
As someone who has lived in San Antonio, I was really excited about this place opening up. But boy was I disappointed. We sat at the bar and the service was uncomfortably terrible. Which is crazy because they weren't even busy. The bartender was just.... rude. But honestly I can deal with that if the food or drinks are decent. The taco came out and it was all cold, not sit under a heat lab cold, but refrigerator cold. It seemed like they meant to pop it in the microwave and forget. The drinks.... Terrible. I didn't think it was possible for a taco spot to mess up a margarita. It was overly sugary and the cup smelled like wet used towel. I left without finishing my drink or food. We will not be returning. So sad with how this place is being ran.
google avatar

Alyse B.

Yelp
Went here for their grand opening not too long ago, service was great, everyone was very welcoming & knowledgeable. Throughout my time there I was checked on to make sure I was doing alright. The place is fairly large, indoor seating, a bar, & outdoor seating as well. The food was okay. I had the queso which was pretty good, definitely would get that again. I had 3 tacos they were alright. Nothing to brag home about but they weren't bad by any means. I would give it another chance to try them again or to try another type of taco or different dish. Also had a frozen passion fruit margarita. That was a tad sweet but good!

Yelp
First the place is really load also it was 4:15 they were sold out of most of the sides The counter person she was really nice very helpful ordered the fried avocado also the democrat let's see how long the wait will be it didn't take that long for my border to come out the fried avocado was very good fresh The brisket kinda greasy though The sides they were sold out wanted the tater tots also the street corn both sold out the place itself is really loud you have to raise your voice in order for someone to hear you I would return food good staff friendly

Lili J.

Yelp
This was my first time here, and I definitely get the hype. They have a ton of taco options, and I really liked everything I tried. The chips and trio of dips were really good, and the roja salsa was tasty. Even though I normally don't go for guac, I really liked this one. The tacos are definitely the star, and they are huge and so filling. I loved the green chile pork taco; it was so flavorful and yummy! The baja shrimp was also good but I felt like it had a little too much slaw compared to shrimp. I will definitely be going back. The staff was super nice and helpful with any questions we had. The space is pretty big but it can be loud if it's busy.

Yelp
I was on my way to another place to grab lunch when I passed the billboard that there's a Torchy's in Atlanta. I said a quick prayer that it's the same Torchy's I ate at in Austin! Punched it into the GPS and headed straight over!! Did not disappoint!! The food was delish. The inside was too loud and cold for me, so I opted for a table in the sun on the quieter patio. Can't wait to come back and bring friends!! They will validate your parking in the deck too!
google avatar

Alex K.

Yelp
This is a much welcome fusion experience of tacos. I was very surprised by how tentative service was here. it was refreshing and welcoming. The portion size is are large to be expected. You can walk away. Happy. Just eating two tacos here. The flavors are fantastic and the spice level is just right. Would definitely recommend stopping in here for tacos if you were in the area. They do validate parking and the garage is around back at the facility.

Yelp
LOVE THE QUESO AND TACOS! THATS all you need to know, the quality, the taste it's all A1
google avatar

Shami P.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and it was packed!! We ordered the dip trio, 2x breakfast tacos, corn, 2x chicken tacos, and a kids cheese quesadilla meal. Staff there were great and friendly and checked on us a couple of times when our food took a while to come out. Food was tasty and hot when it came out. Everything was flavorful and yummy! Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
I've been a fan on Torchy's since I first tried them in Austin years ago. I've been waiting for their Atlanta location to open since it was first announced. Although the tacos are as good as I remember, they really have to get it together in the kitchen. The service is painfully slow for a taco joint, and I've had issues with them getting the order right both times I've been. Until they get it together, Velvet Taco is a better option just a block up, where you won't be waiting forever to get served something that shouldn't take that long for a professional kitchen to whip up.

Yelp
I'm familiar with Torchy's after first experiencing them in Houston, TX, so I was happy to see a location open in Atlanta. I'm not sure when they opened but it's near Interlock so I knew it must be new. I came in and placed a to-go order on a Tuesday evening for the Brushfire, Baja Shrimp & Chicken Fajita tacos - just to get home & realize I had someone else's whole order. :( but I called back and Kelsey, the young lady who answered, was the same employee who took my order; she was apologetic & advised me to come back the next day so that the manager on duty could fix it. I just returned and the manager, Emma, got me a replacement order ASAP and it is delicious as I remember it. Every place is gonna have kinks & i'm sure this location will be great.

Yelp
We have a Torchy's Tacos in Atlanta!!!! This is such a great addition to the city. If you haven't been to one in Texas, don't worry--we have our own now! I've already been twice this week because the food, vibe, and overall experience is awesome. The food is always fresh and staff is super friendly and helpful, especially if you're stuck deciding between food options. They also check in to make sure your food is just right and that you're having a good time. The customer service is fantastic. I love that the managers and staff go out of their way to ask how everything is. It's rare to see that these days, but Torchy's nails it. The manager even gave me a t-shirt because I love this place so much! (Thank you!) Today was my second visit this week, and both times have been great. As someone who has family in Austin, Texas, I always hit up Torchy's when I visit (it's my first stop and last stop!), so I'm super, super excited to have one in Atlanta now! Shout-out to the staff who made my visits awesome: Daniel, Adarius, Destiny, and manager Jason (plus a few others whose names I didn't catch). Bottom line--the food, service, and atmosphere are on point! Highly recommend! And don't forget to try "The Threesome" appetizer on your first visit. You won't regret it!!

Yelp
Me and my friend ate at Torchy's on January 2nd. We had a couple of drinks, I enjoyed mine, my friend, not so much. Tacos were okay. However, days later I realized they charged my card for the full price of our ticket even though my friend and I split the bill. I called the restaurant and spoke to a young lady who promised she would get back to me. I then called back and spoke with a male manager who named started with a D and was told he would handle it and would send me an email for verification. He stated that the card didn't verify when it was charged originally so they went back and manually entered the amount. I have yet to receive an email or a refund. And it's so ironic because I took the time to make a positive tik tok about my experience here. I advise anyone going to pay in cash!

Yelp
So glad there's one in Atlanta now! Queso, tacos, and Margs are all excellent! My go to is the tipsy chick but they are all great.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place so I stopped in today. From the moment I sat down, the bartenders energy was terrible! I ordered the shrimp & salmon taco & when I asked her about the avocado sauce she replied "don't worry about it cuz we are out of it" I said ok because I can't do dairy or eggs. I waited for my tacos to come out & when they did one of them had ranch on it & I said hey i cant do mayo or dairy, she sighed & rolled her eyes & said I will have them remake it. When she brought it back it had cheese on it smh. It seemed as though everything was a problem for her. This is why businesses fail, you have to be careful who you hire because they represent you & your company. I will never come back!

Yelp
Best. Tacos. I've. Ever. Had. Oh my goodness! I had the jerk chicken taco, the republican and the Baja shrimp. Every single one of those tacos were to die for. The service was quick and easier and the cashiers gave a lot of good suggestions. Very nice ambiance and the shorts they have for sale are cute too!

Yelp
We came for the soft opening and got tacos for takeout. If we lived closer this would definitely be our go to taco spot since we think it's some of the best tacos we've had in a while. For the takeout orders we can't compliment the packaging enough. The wag they're wrapped up in the foil they stayed warm and put together. We were also given copious amounts of salsa with the tacos! The queso was fun and had a unique flavor too. Will definitely go back next time we're in the area, wish there were more Atlanta locations!

Yelp
Love other Torchys locations but the management of this location is a mess. Waited over 30 minutes for a basic order of tacos. Disappointing, hope they get their act together.

Yelp
Super syrupy grain alcohol drinks, we could not finish them. Nasty tacos that reminded me of at home tacos. The cheese was still cold on top. They got a 3 instead of a 2 because they do validate parking.

Yelp
The service was awesome from the bartenders. The sangria was good a little sweet. The tacos are tex mex and you can get flour or corn for all. The guca and elote. The ambiance and decor really nice with a patio, plenty of seating. Food comes out fast. I would go back for sure. Go check them out!
