Stayed close by on business travel and decided to try this place out. I ordered online to go and it was ready before the estimated time said so (more on this later). I ordered the damn good fajitas with chicken and steak, an order of guac and chips, a side of pico, and churros. The chicken and the steak were juicy and tasty, and all the fixings were fantastic. It's a shame you only get three tortillas, but it's still good to eat all the leftovers without the tortillas once you run out. The avocado sauce is tangy and creamy and ultimately super delicious. The side of guacamole and chips are a large portion. The pico is very refreshing. I originally wasn't given my churro order, perhaps that's why they were done too quickly and I had to call to let them know. They apologized and were to refund my the churros and let me go back for a fresh batch. Too early on the refund since it happened tonight but the churros were also flaky, hot, and delicious. It pairs very well with the dulce de leche dipping sauce. I don't think I've since this place on the south east side of the States, but I'm glad I stopped by today while in Colorado.

I was told about this place from some friends and several of my work mates and I came here for lunch today. The food tasted so good and the service was friendly and prompt. There was a lot of great options, but I suggest the pork tacos or the Republican taco! There are plenty of adult beverages to choose from although we didn’t have any and the atmosphere is a lot of fun!

Tinz

Google
We have been to this place a couple of times and it was amazing. Then someone decided to take away the republican taco which had the jalapeno sausage!! That was the best!! The green chile queso is awesome too. The last time we went we ordered some shrimp taco that was featured and we weren’t a fan. I don’t think we will be returning here soon unless they bring back the sausage!

Google
We come here all the time and love their food, however I specifically asked for the Churros to not be over done for this order on 04/20/2025 as the last few times we’ve had churros, they have been overdone, hard and inedible. We received overdone, hard and inedible churros again… we’re very disappointed as we were unable to eat them.

Oh Boy Food there is Definitely Delicious 🤤🤤 and very tasty 😋😋 Highly recommend....I'm from Saint Louis and next time I come back I'm definitely coming over 👉🫶🔥👌✌️

Google
Ordered the democrat and the steak fajitas tacos and the green chile queso. Pretty good for a fast casual restaurant and a ton of food for the price! Really liked the democrat and how tender the meat was. The queso is my favorite with the spiciness and a little bit of guac mixed in. The service was extremely slow though. The cashier was helping another person find their order but didn't ask for coverage and the other cashier didn't bother taking our order even after waving at her to take ours. The check out process took over 10 minutes (to me, for a fast casual place, is a little long). To receive our food, it took a normal amount of time. Will try this place again by ordering online.

Google
Highlands Ranch Torchy’s, we love ya but things have been off between us. Ordered a bean, cheese and potato taco because I am an adult and I do what I want. Boy was I surprised when I peeled back that foil and sitting there looking sad, a tater tot tacos instead. lol I still ate it because tots. Online order had it all, bean cheese, Crispy taters, however, the receipt taped to the bag just said crispy tots. Either the online ordering system is messed up or…… we are having a falling out. One more things, no bacon jam for the tipsy chick. This has happened time and time again. And the fish tacos was nothing but fish. Someone forgot the fixings. 3 stars for food because its good but usually missing something important. 5 stars for service because we always get take out, but everyone is super friendly. 3 starts for atmosphere because we eat at our house and there are these cats and dog trying to steal our food EVERY TIME. They are cute though. I have entered five pieces of photo evidence.

My kids ordered the street corn and only after we paid were we told they were out so we got something else and they didn't like it. The food was just ok. They gave us a coupon for a free taco next time so that helps.

Yelp
Ok moved over here 6 months ago and Roomate said not good. Well I need to find new Roomate cause her tastebuds suck! Food was great, I was really surprised. Cheese dip is the best, chipolete, Qdoba horrible compared to The torch! Service quick and easy Ambiance is as good no complaints! If anyone looking for a Roomate with horrible tastebuds reach out!

Yelp
Never had Torchy's Tacos, so my friends whom I was visiting in Denver suggested I give the place a try. We stopped by the restaurant around 6pm on a Wednesday and placed a large to-go order. Ordering was made easy as you could do it right on the electronic kiosks, and you take a buzzer with you while waiting. The place was pretty busy at the time. I could see it being a fun, family-friendly spot especially with its big bar and TVs to go around. We got our order in about 10 minutes and enjoyed the food back at my friends' place. I liked what I ordered, but I did find the savory food excessively salty. I loved that the chips tasted freshly fried, but they were particularly over salted. That said, I ate a few other things including the street corn, Baja shrimp taco, kids steak and cheese quesadilla, and a churro with caramel dipping sauce. The street corn was solid. The Baja shrimp was quite a hefty taco loaded with flavor. I'm so glad that I got a kids steak and cheese quesadilla instead of another giant taco. It was the perfect size to not make me feel full, but the quesadilla was pretty basic though. I dressed it up in salsas, sour cream, and guac. Not a fan of the churro, which reminded me of a cake donut. Just wasn't quite the traditional churro texture I was looking for.

Yelp
5 stars simply for their frozen machine not being broken in the summer time! It was really nice to finally get a frozen swirl margarita at this distant Torchy's location! I went to the Torchy's in my neighborhood last night and the frozen machine was sadly still broken. But this swirl margarita is my favorite so I was so pleasantly surprised to see it literally across the parking lot from my original destination in the same shopping center - Hashtag Highlands Ranch! So I had to stop in for a frozen swirl! This Torchy's seemed really huge inside! There was a big horseshoe bar and there were nice suburbia couples surrounding me and my friend. The bartender was super friendly as were the people around us. It was a fun and social neighborhood place! A place where you could drink to those who just started the first day of their job and those who are still job-free - simultaneously! Great place to stop in for a fun drink and a taco while running around Highlands Ranch!

Jon T.

Yelp
Food is awesome! Much better service this time. I'm glad they're getting a handle on things. One note, though, the music is way too loud throughout the restaurant. Virtually impossible to have a conversation.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. I go to often for my own good! Get trailer park trashy. You will not regret it!

Yelp
Logan at the bar was great! We discussed "what's the difference between a taco and a burrito"? It's not size (though tacos are generally smaller). It's not the grain used to make them (corn or flour is fine!) It's not that it's fried (see "street tacos"). No, the difference is that each bite is layered and different in a taco. A burrito tends to be homogenous with a couple of simple ingredients. Torchy's tacos have progressive flavors and textures and acidity and spice. Every bit is different and that makes a great taco. E.g. the barbacoa (so tender and the right level of spice. The fried avocado taco was different, but I probably would skip it. And the guacamole and queso was well crafted and had a nice level of heat. And the chips are light and crispy but not crumbly. Excellent!

Yelp
So yummy!! Definitely recommend this place! One of the employees even gave us free chips & queso to try & it was sooo good!

Yelp
Delicious tacos! Friendly staff. Cool design. I definitely recommend this place. It was not too busy when we visited.

Yelp
Went to Torchy's twice for takeout while I was in Denver and I fell in love the tacos and fajitas were so darn good lol. 1st day I had Steak Fajitas and Baja Shrimp Taco. Took a bite and looked at my fiancé he just smiled no words needed. The steak fajita was so juicy and flavorful no sauce was even needed. The Baja Shrimp Taco was just as delicious but I did add the sauce but was not needed. Second time I decided to try the Chicken Fajitas and a Sangria Swirl and omg Torchy's didn't disappoint once again. Service was great and quick both times even though it was just takeout. The location that we ate from was inside a shopping plaza. The vibe was nice it was given me a retro type look. All in all I would most definitely return back to Torchy's.

Yelp
I have been told many times to check out this place. I have been a few times now and have tried different things each time. They have a taco of the month that changes every month. It's always fun to see what the new taco is. Overall, the place is clean, the staff are very nice, and their new rewards system is great. I have gotten free chips, cheese, and tacos already from being a rewards member. The only complaint I have is that when you order food to go, the portions seem to be smaller than if you order in. I would highly recommend eating there if you can. They also serve breakfast too. Their breakfast burrito is so good that I would recommend it. My favorite thing on the menu is the crossroads with the bourbon bacon sweet sauce. It doesn't come with that sauce originally, so you have to ask for it. Also, don't forget to order their famous green chili cheese dip...it's addicting. I always order the half order, and it's plenty of cheese to share. Can't wait to go back soon and try the new taco of the month coming out.

Yelp
Another time at Torchy's and another good experience. Food as always 5/5. Hot and damn delicious tacos, sensational guac, and the best queso! (Get it Hillbilly style!!!) One thing keeping this from a 5 star review is that the take out always takes longer than the quoted time and the parking lot is such a hassle (shared with a handful of other businesses) Still a huge fan and regular of Torchy's though and can't get enough of that queso!!
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
Nice service. Good selection. Great food. Margaritas a bit pricey but tasty. Love the sangria swirls. Great queso and thanks for a $1 off tacos now for Happy Hour.
google avatar

Kayley K.

Yelp
Best queso ever! Make sure to get it hillbilly (add that chorizo and be extra happy) Everyone is friendly and service is fast. Every location has its own fun vibe.

Yelp
Torchy's Tacos is a great Tex-Mex version of tacos. This was one of the first places I tried when moving here and it has become one of my favorites very fast. They have so many great options but my favorites are the migas (breakfast tacos), the trailer park (fried chicken taco), and the fried avocado taco. I have tried almost all of the regular tacos on the menu and they all have unique and great flavors so you can't go wrong. They also do a taco of the month which is a fun way to keep the menu slightly different every month. They do have a secret menu as well that has some great taco options if you do get bored of the regular menu. During the weekends they have specials on appetizers and drinks. They also have some really good deserts like churros and cookie bites. The service at this torchy's is always outstanding. Everyone is super friendly, kind, and helpful. The restaurant is kept very clean and has a very welcoming and fun atmosphere. On one side of the restaurant it is a bar area with 2 tvs that usually show sports then on the other it is like a normal restaurant set up. This location gets very busy but does have a great online ordering/phone order pickups so you don't have to wait in the line. I love torchy's and would definitely recommend checking it out if you have never been to one or if you are looking for good Tex-Mex food.

Craig S.

Yelp
Queso was all curdled and wasn't very good. This happens three different times. We did go in late but it was same as before.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
Torchy's forgot an item and so I called to complain and spoke with the manager Genevieve. She went beyond the expected to make it right and ensure we stay customers. Doesn't happen at every place. We appreciated the gesture and will probably be more frequent customers now.
google avatar

Lexi K.

Yelp
We had six different tacos from this place and they were all amazing. The grilled shrimp taco is super spicy, so keep that in mind. The fried chicken tacos were delicious. The salsa is amazing. My only complaint was that I asked for no avocado due to a food allergy and one of my tacos came with avocado on it so I wasn't able to try it but all in all, I would whole heartedly recommend this place.
google avatar

Jami W.

Yelp
Picked up some food for a client meeting on cinco de mayo. I arrive righted when they opened and was able to order almost immediately. The menu is small but, lots of varieties of tacos. The gal at the counter was very welcoming and helped me place my order. In a few short minutes (roughly 15), my order was all bagged up and I was good to go. Good flavors, would suggest checking it out... and maybe dining in for the whole experience.
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
This is nothing like your parents' Torchys. It's a retrograde take on Taco Bell food - with equally inspired service. The chips are fried in soybean oli. Don't mention that on the menu. That's why you get sick when you may, parchance eat here. Contrary to what is stated on the menu, it's a damn good...hot mess. Does not actually appear to be a "scratch kitchen," contrary to what the manager says. I don't see a meat smoker or anything approximating it. Just how do they smoke meat? One wonders. Some observations: Queso: worse than Rotel and Velveeta Tipsy Chick: How about putting less on this bad boy Salmon fish taco: Who was asking for this? I guess they're trying to go public and stuff. The food quality and service attest to this... I would avoid at all costs.

Yelp
Decided to stop by this location after work. Fun fact, I've never been inside of Torchys before. I have had some takeout and it was amazing. Plenty of parking in the lot with a variety of different restaurants in the area. The ambiance of this establishment is very decorative. Good vibes inside with fun music playing. Equipped with a patio for some enjoyable sunsets. Good place for a margarita. When making my purchase, I was helped by one of the managers Anthony. He quite possibly had one of the best initial greetings for a business in 2022. I inquired about the food items and he immediately had his favorite choices of tacos and queso. The Democrat with corn tortillas and the Beef Fajita on flour. Make sure to get the lime with the democrat. Along with the queso and chips. And a sprite to wash it down. The food was excellent. The customer service from Anthony was exceptional. There is a difference between the employees whom care and the ones whom don't. You only get one first impression and this one was one to remember. The tacos are sold individually. I'm filled up with my order. My favorite taco of the two was the Democrat. The meat melted with each bite. Nice touch with my name on the receipt as well. Thanks for everything Torchys. I look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
Ugh. Really bad experience here. 1st time, didn't really know how it worked. Stood at the front waiting for someone to seat me, greet me, really anyone that could give me the low down. Staff just standing behind the counter, saw me come in and nothing. Grabbed a menu and sat down and nothing.... They don't do table service, I had no idea. After all this I was skeptical. The food, another ugh. Menu is a bit juvenile, seems like it was a left over from the 90's, not a large selection with a bunch of scary sounding tacos. Ordered a simple burrito bowl, thinking they can't mess this up. Wrong again! Cold, chewy, basically two pieces of actual steak, no flavoring, no seasoning, and the smallest bowl I've ever seen. Didn't even get a drink and my tab was more than $15. Total waste of time and money. This is Colorado, there are so many great tacos in this state - don't waste your time and money here. They really should just torch torchy's.

G M B.

Yelp
Wish I could rate 0 stars. :45 wait after ordering then cold food. Too bad. I used to love Torchy's. Maybe it's just the Highlands Ranch location.
google avatar

Joshua U.

Yelp
This is a follow up. After the wife complained we got a $15 gift card. Because she loved it so much in Austin, I had to give it a second try. Sunday at 1400 is much better than Thursday at 1800. The food was fast, the service was actually friendly this time. So, for the sake of making amends I'm changing my rating to 4/5: would eat here, but it's hit or miss.
google avatar

Justin U.

Yelp
Torchy's lived up to their reputation for great tasting food. It was my first visit. I chose the burrito with barbacoa. All the ingredients were wrapped in a big tortilla so it was possible to pick it up and eat it. It had just enough spice to make it enjoyable and the flavors mixed well. The burrito was the kind of size where you finish half and then ask yourself, "should I take the rest home..?" But because it's so fresh and good you keep nibbling away at it until the next thing you know, it's all gone. :-) The place was clean and there were people walking around clearing away the baskets once you finished. This was nice because if you want to sit and chat with your friends after your meal, you're not staring at the remnants of your meal in front of you while you socialize. One thing to know about tipping. When you pay for your meal you can add a tip. That money is put into a pot and shared with all the people who help during a particular shift.
google avatar

Stephen G.

Yelp
Love Torchy's tacos, have a great menu with different breakfast and regular tacos. We love their fried chicken tacos, highly recommend getting a variety of items though and coming hungry!
google avatar

Jeff D.

Yelp
The family and I stopped in for a quick bite after my son's game and WOW! The staff was very kind and attentive. The food came out quickly and tasty. WILL BE COMING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!
google avatar

Drew J.

Yelp
Torchy's has so many good taco's...but February is when the Scallywag is back. Torchy's does a "taco of the month", and most of them are pretty good...but the Scallywag is one of the best taco's that you'll ever eat. I don't know why it is only available one month per year. But get there soon to enjoy this goodness. My wife had two Scallywags, and loved them both (as expected), I opted for a Scallywag, and an Ace of Spades. What is the "Ace of Spades", you ask? There is nothing on the menu that is called anything remotely like that. Torchy's has a secret menu. The Ace of Spades is delicious, but it might be TOO MUCH...it does take a few Tums afterwards to get the stomach calmed down.

Kelsey Lyn W.

Yelp
I love this place and the food is awesome. The bartender Doug was the best! Service was incredible and I will be back to come to the bar for sure! Make sure to get the hillbilly queso!
google avatar

Barbara S.

Yelp
Not the best, but not the worst! We came in around 1:30, a perfect time to stop by when the lunch rush has calmed down. We ordered and as soon as we sat down we got our food. The service was so fast, it was hard to believe! I chose to try the taco of the month (Midnight Cowboy) and I definitely LOVED this one. I also tried the Democrat, I'm a sucker for barbacoa. I asked for a flour tortilla on this one, but I think corn was the way to go. The flavor in the barbacoa was okay! There was some flavor, but it didn't satisfy my cravings :( My friend enjoyed the Trailer Park and mentioned that she was a little bit disappointed as the chicken didn't seem like it was very fresh. Nonetheless, the food was good, service was great, and the ambiance was laid back and a great spot for lunch!
google avatar

Jenna J.

Yelp
The tacos are good, a little on the expensive side. You get a buzzer that's supposed to go off when your food is ready but ours was brought to our table which was nice.

Kendall G.

Yelp
A regular spot, consistently great. Have had everything. Really like the queso and chips. Guac is good too.

Brett W.

Yelp
The service was great but the tacos were not what I expected. Ordered 2 chorizo/egg/cheese tacos which is what I got but not only was the cheese not melted, it was cold like it just came out of the fridge and the tortilla was the same. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Amy A.

Yelp
Delicious quick-serve tacos with a fun ambiance. Great outdoor seating g if you want something more quiet. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Love the chips and guac or queso. Baja Shrimp Taco, Trailer Park Taco, and the Mango Jerk Taco are all delicious!
google avatar

Ben W.

Yelp
Was visiting a pal in the area and wanted a quick taco, I've had Torchy's many times before and the food is solid. Walked into this location, just a couple barflies with no employees in sight. No communication, no nothing. Waited a couple minutes for anyone ti acknowledge me, went to the restroom and came back out, same deal. Seemed like between the negligence and general atmosphere, the food wasn't gonna be fresh or good either so I walked. As I was leaving a gal/employee came out of the smoking patio but still didn't bother to even speak to me. I swear I'm not a food nazi but I worked in the industry for 15 years - this was garbage. Torchy's is fine - avoid this location.
google avatar

Austin S.

Yelp
I've been going to Torchy's since 2010 when I first discovered the food truck down on South First in Austin, so I'm probably biased. That said, their tacos still deliver even at locations like this one all the way up in Denver. For anyone new to Torchy's, ask for the secret menu to unlock access to a set of tacos with twice the flavor.
google avatar

Taylor H.

Yelp
Logan, our server, really made the experience fun. He deserves a raise! The new items on the menu are worth trying as well. The cougar was excellent!

Ross U.

Yelp
We Waited 49 minutes for to go order. Poorly run and poorly managed store where no one knew what was going on. Sad

Steve C.

Yelp
Have always loved this place and the bartenders have a lot to do with that... Emma, Jane, Dave (way back in the day), Antonio Abigail is right up there too - best bar staff ever.
google avatar

Sophia H.

Yelp
The food was amazing always! Taylor was super nice and a great bartender, can't wait to be back and have her again! Thanks Taylor(:
google avatar

Barry C.

Yelp
We love Torchy's! The tacos are affordable and delicious! We come here weekly. Pro tip: Sit at the bar and the bartenders let you order and they deliver the food.
google avatar

Evelyn B.

Yelp
My family and I love this place, we have been to the restaurant so many times now. The chill vibe and great food keeps us coming back. When I say great food it deserves it. Friendly staff and great service. We are satisfied every time.

Robert F.

Yelp
Great tacos, great staff, great sides. I understand you are testing a new menu that eliminates the street corn. Please bring the street corn back with the new menu. We have been going to an alternative Torchy's recently that still has the street corn on their menu and no longer go to the closer restaurant that is testing the new menu without street corn. Please bring back the street corn!
google avatar

Ruth C.

Yelp
Finally returned here to check it out again. The positive vibe was sort of there but not as it was before. Maybe the folks working that day have some COVID blues. The cashier was more matter-of-fact, will you just tell me what you want to order. There was a jovial guy there so it wasn't only the blues. The tacos just seemed okay. Maybe I am spoiled by another restaurant's experience and this one just didn't match or come close to that one. Maybe they changed their food ingredients quality? Not sure, but it certainly was not the same for me as 2 years ago when I wrote my first review of it.
google avatar

Quintin G.

Yelp
We were pretty surprised at the level of service here -- even on a busy night. Dave was running around making sure everyone was good, and with a happy friendly attitude. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
google avatar

Ashley P.

Yelp
Staff is super friendly; we got recommendations from the cashier and the bartender and food runner were helpful and polite. The food is decent. My husband and I shared some chips and queso and each got a Baja Shrimp and Trailer Park taco, and he got an additional Crossroads. The tacos were A-okay; we actually really liked the Baja Shrimp but felt the others weren't as great. Queso and chips are good, but the queso definitely has a kick so keep that in mind if you don't like heat. I like the atmosphere here and would like to come back for a happy hour or to watch some football with tacos and margaritas. I did feel the price was high for what you get and wish they offered some specials on food. It was about $40 for two of us to eat with fountain drinks, no adult bevs. Still overall, good atmosphere, friendly staff, and decent tacos.

Clayton S.

Yelp
The tacos are decent but the wait for service, especially online-for-pickup orders, is atrocious. This is clearly a location that is overwhelmed by the success that will likely sink it. A promised online pickup time of 7:10pm, for example, came and went. It was 8 pm before it was ready. Also, always always always open up the bags before you leave and double check the order. They get orders wrong three out of four times.

Yelp
Amazing !! I work across at the hospital . I went for the 2nd time recently and even better . I tried the pork green chille tacos . No cheese cause I can't have dairy and still delicious!! Fast service even though I went at 12 . Food and service is fabulous. Tacos are stuffed with meat, no cutting corners for sure. I'll be back ! I walked over cause I'm within walking distance. The only down fall is the parking in this shopping center is insane around meal times ! They deff need more parking with all the restaurants around . Just my two cents .

Starla Y.

Yelp
Great food! Servers are always so awesome and quick to help! Love stopping in for a quick tequila shot and tacos!

Yelp
This is how Migas are supposed to be! After living in Austin for a few years, I am a bit of a Migas snob, and these really hit the spot! They get the tortilla strips nice and crispy, which is what ties the entire taco together with a blend of creamy eggs, and crunchy tortilla strips. I get mine with no avocado due to an allergy, but they still live up to the tacos of my dreams from the Lone Star State! Overall service was great too, super safe for covid. I went in to order and they had me wait in my car, and brought my order out to my car about 15 minutes later, it was so easy! I'll make the trip to go out of my way to go back to this location, I had such a great experience!
