Torrance Tavern

I placed an order to go for two breakfast burritos. Neither came as I ordered them. My husband’s had bacon and avocado but no jalapeños. Mine had bacon but no avocado. I had to pay extra for avocado and then didn’t get any.

Second time I’ve been here and everything is great! We ordered Buffalo Wings Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon (upgraded to garlic fries) Steak Salad Medium Well Kids cheeseburger (not pictured) The food was really good. I like how the kids meals were a good size and not mini so my child was satisfied and didn’t feel hungry after. The service was pretty quick but just took a big longer to get refills since there was 2 servers and about 10 other tables. Total for 4 meals with 4 sodas came out to $90~

Amazing place... Very crowdy on weekends. Music, sports on TV, everything is black ( roof, walls, pillars etc) sports bar gives a lively feeling. We tried fries, drinks, Tavern house salad, burger.

Torrance Tavern is a very popular spot for drinks, food and sporting events. There's a great selection of beer on tap and a large selection of foo s on the menu. There's plenty of seating available. You won't be disappointed.

Torrance Tavern is clearly a Torrance staple, cause well, its in the name. I have come here more times than I can count and nothing has ever been disappointing. The service, selection of foods, and the really generously timed Happy Hour are all ways that Torrance Tavern has a portion of my heart. Starting with the food, its typical tavern food, but they definitely do it well. I've had the burgers and fries, most of their appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches, and a wide selection of their cocktails and drinks. Of the places I have been, their cocktails and beers are fairly priced, and its even better during Happy Hour. The drinks are always great, props to the bartender! Service and seating is where it can get a bit iffy, and that is kind of why I knocked two stars off the Service only. Service, especially when its busy and the crowd gets wild if a game is on can be extremely inconsistent. I've been give the wrong items at times and there are periods where a server doesn't come by for a while, even when you just got seated and you are waiting for your order. And if there is a game, expect to wait if you don't have someone to claim a table early.

I had the western cheese burger, sweet potatoes, and the onion ring tower was OK. Nothing special. The Buffalo boneless wins need help. Probably the worst I've ever had. Now the environment is nice. You get to watch multiple games at once and a verity of beers.

Have been here a couple times - tavern/sports bar vibe. Lots of screens to watch games, a bar seating area, plus table seating. On a weekend, kids and adults both there. Food is hearty and lots of drink options. Great staff. Enjoy!

The wings were cooked really well, but they were a tab heavy on the sauce. Definitely will ask for light sauce if I come back. The bartenders were very friendly and checked in often.

Service is great, food is ok, not a big fan of the burgers. I wish the burgers were grilled but they taste like they are boiled. We love to stick to the wings and beer! Game days are great to watch here

Torrance Tavern has had a great facelift and I am here for it! My coworkers and I come here for happy hour and I haven't been in a bit, but walking through the doors, it was a new vibe, modern feel! The menus look professional, the bar area has a light up marquee with their happy hour times. I got the basic burger. Thousand island, lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion with a side of fries for about $18. It was delicious. Happy hour starts at 4 and their happy hour menu is okay, onion rings, fries, the basics. The happy hour prices are for appetizers and drinks for the table, not an individual meal. The servers do rounds, so we didn't have one consistent server, which was okay, they were on top of it though! From the items I saw around the area, Tuesdays they have trivia starting at 8 pm and taco Tuesday. Overall, solid spot for food or to hangout after work. Also- kid friendly! They have a kids menu with items around $9

My boyfriend and I visited Torrance Tavern this past Friday to watch the Dodger game. While it was extremely busy, our servers kept checking on us which we appreciated :) Here is what we ordered: Onion rings- I freaking loved these onion rings. They were really crispy and the onion did not slew off the breading Tavern salad with shrimp- This salad was plated so nicely and it was yummy, but it just tasted like a regular ol' salad. There wasn't a wow factor even though I added shrimp Wings- Now these? These wings were immaculate. The right amount of crispness and crunch. They were nicely tossed and the flavor was amazing. 10/10 Nachos- These nachos had a lot of toppings which is a plus! The meat was tender and flavorful Overall, I would definitely be back! There are plenty of parking spaces even though it is shared with several other businesses

My friend and I stopped by around 9 pm after an art show at the Torrance Art Museum. We had no expectations and were hungry. This place surprised us!! The food was absolutely delicious. I had a beer- Modelo was on draft and went down easy. We ordered him as a sweat potato fries and then a cheesesteak. I am from Philly and this was an amazing ing cheesesteak. Now I know to go for a great fix when I am missing home. The staff were great and attentive. The place has at least a half dozen TVs with all kinds of sports and other things going. The music is going and the noise level is perfect where you can have a great time and a good conversation. I am definitely going back for the cheesesteak- amazing. I highly recommend this place.

The food was incredible--Chelsea had all kinds of recommendations & was bang on with them !!! I will definitely be back for more buffalo chicken mac n cheese!!!!! She provided such an incredible service even on game 2 of World Series!!! Chelsea had some great drink recommendations as well -- I loved my Bloody Mary! The vibe in this place is so fun, glad to have checked this place out & will be back!!!! Especially if the waitresses / waiters are as attentive as she is!! 10/10!

Came here for some late night drinks with friends. They had a great late happy hour deal although I didn't see the check so unsure if we got the deal. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin spice espresso martini and it was good. Definitely had the right flavor and was pretty strong. I also got the Parmesan fries, they were yummy but were very greasy from the cheese and had quite a bit of Parmesan. The service Was alright, a bit slow and they forgot two drinks at the end. But cool joint!

Best dish was chocolate chip cookie Ala mode. Second was fish and chips. Definitely SKIP the boneless wings (tastes frozen and store bought). Fried chicken sandwich was also just okay.

Celebration for a friend and the gang got together. They were accommodating for the party of 10 even though the place was packed. Large shared parking lot for the strip mall. I think this used to be a pizza place years ago. Staff was friendly and attentive, which was appreciated since arrival times, drink orders and food orders varied. A few in our group very very thirsty and hungry - yahoo!! Happy hour 4-7 Monday - Thursday The staff also assisted in taking group pics and bringing plates and utensils for the serving of a cake that was brought in. Thank you. Drinks and food were delish. With such a large party, it is still wise to check the bill and keep tabs of what people ordered as we were overcharged. It was worked out with the staff but use those eagle eyes to check it yourself. Ok, bye.

Great place to watch a game! (For us, Olympic soccer--U.S. women vs.Germany.) Started with a plate of wings--fried, as they should be--half classic Buffalo and half Asian, per the bartender's recommendation. Both excellent, with the Asian wings bring a little bit of sweet heat. Then a Buffalo chicken sandwich, a Tavern burger and a Cubano, which is new to the menu. All tasty, but the standouts were the Buffalo chicken (moist, crispy and flavorful) and the Cubano (a little different take, but still really good). No rotating taps even though it's on the menu, but an Offshoot hazy IPA and the always classic Elysian Space Dust kept us hapoy. A solid sports bar vibe with plenty of TVs and attentive servers.

Parking is in a commercial strip mall you shouldn't have a hard time finding anything. Service is always on point I usually sit at the bar but when I don't I receive the same service as if I were sitting at the bar. We usually order wings and a steak salad and a burger and we share that and let me tell you it's absolutely amazing I have never had a problem with there food or service or even drinks this is a good place to enjoy the games and enjoy good food

Always good food and service. Plenty of parking and a solid happy hour. Plenty of TVs for Monday Night Football

Really love this sports bar in Torrance! There are lots of TVs and food there is actually really good! We got the nachos and Cuban sandwich and they were both really tasty. We've gotten the chicken tenders and flatbread before and they were really good too! The down side is.. service can be a bit slow.. but at least the staffs are really nice!

They have a nice happy hour, good food & cheap drinks! Chill place to hang out whether you want to eat a whole meal or just grab drinks

Fast service on a busy night, was just here for the desert which was good and plenty for the money.

Always a fun place to meet up with friends. Olympic Basketball was on. USA won. The Korean wings were amazeballs with a oh so slightly spicy sauce. Banging! Service was fast and attentive. Coming again next week

True sports bar with amazing food options We've been looking for a sports bar that will play audio of games. Believe it or not it's hard to find in the South Bay.. Glad we finally stopped in. Plenty of TVs. Drinks are priced fairly. Food was pretty outstanding for a traditional sports bar. I would classify the fare as gastropub quality food. Bartenders were all friendly and attentive. All staff seemed to prioritize guest experience. Can't wait to check them out for happy hour which if I'm not mistaken is on until 7pm M-F!?

Places order for tavern cheese burger and onion rings. Love the burger was moist taste fresh and huge actually. Onion were very crispy

Food was great arrive pretty quick Everything tasted great Service was great When we got there Saturday it wasn't busy I decided to go here so I can watch baseball and soccer at the same time Always love the vide and environment here. The staff was great Will definitely come back and will recommend to other to come hang out

Nice spot to come chill and watch dodger games and grab a beer. The cocktails were nothing special, but it is a tavern so that should be expected. The staff were friendly and nice and the decor inside is really cool and dodger themed. A lot of ample parking and open late so that is a plus.

We stopped here for an early dinner on Friday. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and served promptly. We ordered boneless wings (Carolina Reaper and Korean). Both were very good! The Reaper wasn't too hot but had more flavor than a typical buffalo sauce. The Korean sauce wasn't very sweet and was a nice pairing to the Reaper. For entrees we ordered the fish and chips and the steak salad. Both are a must try and we're excited to be back to have them again!

My mom and I stopped here for lunch and had a pleasant experience. The staff were very welcoming especially the older gentleman who gave us some good recommendations. My mom had a pulled pork sandwich while I had a quesadilla - both were pretty good. The atmosphere was relaxed with patrons enjoying lunch and drinks while watching sports on multiple screens.

The Western Burger and Fish and Chips were really good as was our service. Lots of sports on the big TVs too. Our only complaint was that the music was too loud to have a conversation.

Servers are friendly, food is just average at best. Wings 3/5 - sauced is good. chicken was over cooked. Wings don't come with carrots or celery. Asked for bleu cheese and it was super watery, no chunks of bleu cheese in sight, straight from a bottle. Nachos - 3.5/5 - flavor is good, they came out suspiciously quick as if they were preassembled and just thrown quickly under a broiler. Parmesan fries 1/5 - super soggy and greasy. Don't know how they even feel comfortable serving these. They tell you all the plates are hot, so kinda obvious stuff has bren sitting out and is heated right before serving. Place is cool, servers nice, but just order drinks, skip the food.

Decent bar food with price tag. Onion ring "tower" of five rings, cheesesteak wasn't exactly packed either. If you came to drink and want some wings, cool but if I am gonna drop 50 plus bucks on food for one I would go to an actual restaurant not just order at the bar.

The chile verde nachos to start, BBQ bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries as the main... you're WELCOME!! Omgod. Delicious!!!! I will run this back as often as my diet allows lol the vibe is chill - we watch the games sometimes when we go eat. One of my fav cheat meal spots !!!

Our first time at Torrance Tavern. We started with the onion ring tower which both my boys enjoyed especially my youngest who is finicky about his food. I had the fish and chips which were tasty! My younger son had the burger and my oldest son had the grilled cheeseburger!! We were not disappointed with our meals!! They have a big beer selection and Open bar. I wanted to try their old fashioned but I was in the beer mood. The staff was great and very outgoing! They took care of us and were very attentive. It's gets packed so come early They have seating at the bar and dining tables. It's very family oriented We definitely recommend Torrance Tavern

First time here. I enjoyed the salad with blue cheese dressing. But it's nothing special though.

This is the place you want to go. Food, service, ambiance, are all outstanding. One of my favorite restaurants in the area by a wide margin. This place is great, the food is amazing, can't go wrong with anything.

The music is very loud can't hold much of a conversation Food is good I don't recommend if you want to talk with your group (at least inside)

It was an excellent place to watch the Dodgers play - great food and crowd, too!!-- and excellent prices. The ten dollar burrito is the best deal anywhere!! The service was very good as well. I am a fan and will be back!

I have been going to this location in the South Bay way before it became Torrance Tavern. Let me tell you that nothing compares to what it is now! What an outstanding difference this ownership group has made in comparison to every other one in the past. There was a bit of a bad reputation before and now I have no problem bringing my kids in to eat & watch a game. In fact it's one of their absolute favorite places to go. The recent remodel really pulls in the community feel and the vibe is just wonderful. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere makes it way more than a just sports bar. Congrats on turning around a relic and making it clean and fun place for the whole family!!!

This is a fun little sports bar with TVs everywhere and a pretty good Happy Hour (4-7PM, $2 off beers and some discounted apps). Service was rather slow but that's because they only had 2 servers who took orders, brought out food/drinks and also bussed tables. We got the Chile Verde Nachos and the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. They gave a smaller portion of the nachos for happy hour but it was still quite a lot, and the flatbread made me full!

Don't come in for the service unless you are a regular. Had to get my own menu and walked up to owner/mgr for menu and other bartender to order drink Such a shame.. Received a thank you from bartender without looking at the me in the eyes. Thank me later.Staff is complacent w regulars and their drink discounts. I still tipped 25 percent plus as well.

i want to start off by saying the service here is always phenomenal. the servers are always so welcoming and the whole ambience is so hype every time i come here. the food always slaps too. the one thing that got me today was how hot is was :( it felt like no AC was on and in this scorching weather, it was too hot to drink. but everything else was great! just hope they'll get the AC running and it would be perfect! always love coming here for a chill night :)

I've had this spot on my "to-do" list for awhile. Although not a fan of their wine (it's like yeah duh Andrea, who orders wine at a pub anyway...), I thought their burgers were pretty decent! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both were pretty amazing! If I had to choose between the two, I would go with the Buffalo Chicken since it was slightly less messy and easier to eat. Service is really good here to as they were very attentive of us.

Awesome sports bar, a lot of tvs with plenty of places to sit. Service is great, shout out to Lauren and Juan. Delicious food, I recommend the steak salad, steak and frites and the skillet chocolate chip cookie for dessert! It's our new favorite sports bar spot!

Cake first. The chocolate peanut butter cake is out of this world. Carnitas nachos and pesto chicken wrap along with fries above average. The portiona are generous and we fed three with leftover, except cake. That plate wa licked clean. Service was fast and friendly. We went for lunch during the week.

We've been wanting to try Torrance Tavern and are happy we did! It is easy to locate with plenty of parking. Inside, it is clean, updated, and attractive with roomy blue leather booths, sparkling hanging lights, and several good quality TVs for sports viewing, along with a good bar. Music was playing at a pleasant volume. Jorge, our server, is excellent. Now, for the best part: the food was fresh, piping hot, and delicious! We really enjoyed the large wings, beautifully prepared fish & chips, and BBQ chicken flat bread--the portions are generous enough for another meal later or tomorrow! We're looking forward to our next visit to enjoy some of the other menu items. We'll definitely return soon!

Love this local hangout! Great food, cool ppl, unpretentious vibe, and great prices. Sports games are always on, especially for a Dodger game and the cold beer accompanies the delicious food just right. I especially love the burgers or the steak frite with sweet potato fries and a Space Dust IPA. And the folks who work there are always so helpful and kind. Just writing this review makes me want to go back already!

Went there for the World Cup on TV - loved the food! The service was extremely fast and efficient. Our waitress (group of 8) was always checking to make sure our orders were perfect - but no complaints from us. Everything was accurate and prepared perfectly. Then restaurant is in a strip along with other dining experiences. This was my first time here. The parking lot is huge and no problem finding a space. I had their Western Burger and one of their IPA's. I have to admit I passed on their 8%+ Elysian Space Dust in favor of a more manageable beverage. But for those who crave it, they've got it Overall we had a great time and this bat and restaurant gets my recommendation.

Popped in here for a quick bite while in the area and the food was excellent. We had the best Cuban in the area and the pork sandwich was delicious as well. The French fries are perfect. The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping us choose entrees -they were spot on. Altho this is a tavern it is clean and spacious and there are plenty of TVs for sports viewing. I will look forward to going back! Thanks guys for a quick meal - great service. Unsuspecting gem they deserve the stars.

Torrance Tavern is the real MVP! Went there for the NBA Finals, but the food stole the show! Happy Hour vibes are on point, Monday-Friday 4-7pm and 10:30-close every night. We started with the Golden Road Mango Cart ($6) and Jucci Kiwi Strawberry Sour Beer ($6). Sooo good! Now, onto the grub! The Buffalo Wings ($11) were fire! And the Onion Ring Tower ($9)? Insane! We couldn't get enough. But wait, it gets better! The Tavern Fish & Chips were bomb! And the Tavern Ultimate Grilled Cheese with Ham? Cheesy, hammy perfection. And dessert? The Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie had us weak! Warm, gooey cookie with vanilla ice cream. Pure heaven. The staff at Torrance Tavern were awesome. Super chill and made sure we had a great time. The place had a great atmosphere for watching the NBA Finals and enjoying some killer food. Torrance Tavern, you're the real deal!
