Funny story. My wife booked this place with 0 clue what it was because we were both running a bit ragged from our trip. Naturally, after a full day spent in Naples and Pompei, we were both sweaty and in hiking attire when we arrived and saw, with jaws on the floor, that this was a 2 star Michelin.
As you would expect from a 2 star Michelin, service and food were great. I would say, we had just been to Lido 84, so it became an inevitable comparison between the two( we aren't rich, we just like food and usually budget for one ultra splurge meal a year).
I'd say, technically, every dish was well executed. Very tasty and with remarkable cookery and finesse. There was nothing overwhelming and frankly even the desserts were so delicious. I would say, in comparison with Lido, this menu was more conventional as fine dining goes. Lido was much weirder in what they served. Whether one is better than the other will likely depend on the customer and what they are looking for. For example, I thought Lido on the whole was better/more interesting, but the best one or two dishes between the two meals was here. Just stunning in simplicity. Also service was top notch as you would expect. Honestly, If you told me this was a three Michelin star restaurant I wouldn't have been surprised in the least.
If anyone is reading this and wants any one particular piece of advice, it is don't come in a $17 shirt you bought at Costco. Nevertheless, they were very gracious even in those circumstances.
