New Brazilian Restaurant TorresBee Opens in Round Rock, Texas | Eater Austin

"Opened in Round Rock this summer at 1904 Town Centre Drive, Suite 150, this casual Brazilian eatery specializes in Brazilian pizza — pies whose crusts are filled with requeijão (a soft Brazilian cheese similar to cream cheese) and are loaded with toppings and typically eaten with a fork and knife. Signature pies include quatro queijos, Portuguesa (Calabrian sausage, ham, onions, bell peppers, olives, eggs, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and tomatoes), and frango com catupiry (pulled chicken, cream cheese, oregano, and tomato sauce). The menu also features traditional Brazilian dishes such as feijoada, picanha, escondidinho, coxinhas, and dadinhos de tapioca, plus desserts like brigadeiros, bolo de cenoura with chocolate, and pudim. Founded by owner-chef Bee Torres in South Carolina in October 2021 and relocated to the Austin area in February 2022, the operation began as a pickup-and-delivery service from a North Loop ghost kitchen before opening the physical location with manager and co-owner Marcelo Drumm; hours are currently limited (10 a.m.–8 p.m.) with takeout, delivery (in-house and via DoorDash), and indoor dine-in available." - Nadia Chaudhury

Google
The service was fast and friendly. I’m not Brazilian, but I really enjoyed the music they played, it added such a great vibe to the place. My husband and I ordered the Feijoada and Picanha (8/10). Both were very tasty, but the Feijoada definitely stole the show with its rich and intense flavor, 20/10. We also had the Pavê de Maracujá (15/10), which was creamy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, not too sweet or heavy. Highly recommend.

Google
It has been a while since I had such a memorable meal! The place has such a warm vibe, and there was live music on the patio Saturday evening when we were there that added to the ambiance. Our server, Stephanie, was absolutely top-tier! Her passion to share the experience of an authentic Brazilian meal came through from her helpful recommendations to her enthusiasm at our feedback with each delicious dish. I genuinely just wanted to hug her when we left as if I was leaving a friend’s home after hosting us for the evening. There is not a single thing we ate or drank that I would not order again! Trust the recommendations from the staff, you won’t be disappointed.

Google
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Their coxinha is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted, crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned and creamy on the inside. You can tell it’s made with care and authentic Brazilian flavor. Brunch (all-you-can-eat) on Sundays is my favorite thing! Plus, the staff is exceptional!! Every server I’ve met has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Brazilian food and a warm, friendly atmosphere!

Google
Carol was an amazing waitress and guided us through the menu and made our first time at Torresbee a memorable experience. The live music outside was a cultural event that made us feel alive. The food was delicious and their menu is extensive you can try so many dishes. We will be back with Carol as our waiter 🫶 Viva Brasil :)

Google
Me and my girlfriend wanted to go out a try something new. We came across this place and checked out their menu online and decided to give it a try. We both walked in and were greeted in a timely manner as it was a busy day in there. The food we ordered was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life. You seriously have to go here. I don’t remember the name but I had a dish that was like baked with beef under a layer of mash potatoes layered in cheese and it was absolutely amazing. 10/10 I will be back to have that amazing dish again.

Google
I’ve tried almost their whole menu already and everything is super tasty. The service itself is full of fun interactions with all the servers, especially Davi!!

Shaine P.

Google
Ana was wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of my questions and put up with how picky I am with grace and a cheerful smile. Will be back to try the brunch!

Google

Yelp
Ok. I saw this place a couple of days ago, when I arrived I thought like meah. But one thing change my perspective, it is the most traditional Brazilian Breakfast, nothing like fogo or casa do Brazil none of that, this is so authentic that Everyone in the place was full on speaking Portuguese. I Loved it brunch was small but there you pay for quality, the fried items Not grease at all Service was awesome everyone that help, guess what yup From Brazil. Ambiance was a little bit of Copa Cabana. So if you want something on the price up side and good quality great place GO THERE and you will be saying ; "Esta comida é como o futebol deles -- o melhor do mundo. Muito obrigado!" From Chile to Texas and to Brazil, Loved it.

Yelp
The location is gorgeous, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It's bright and inviting. Our server was very attentive. The appetizer was interesting, and we enjoyed it. They didn't have the Brazilian cheese bread we were both craving. It turns out they only serve that earlier in the day. My friend enjoyed her steak with all the sides, and she said it was delicious. I had a picanha steak with mandioca frita (fried cassava). With avoiding onion and garlic, my options were limited. My food was well cooked and delicious. I would definitely try this place if you don't have crazy dietary restrictions like I do.

Yelp
I keep returning to this hidden gem in Round Rock. They serve breakfast until 5 PM. They have a very unique menu and a great outdoor patio with live entertainment on Saturday night. I had lunch there Wednesday with the Lunch Bunch. I ordered a skewer of roasted picanha. It was perfectly grilled and very tender, and an order of their bread and butter, which is unique. It's more like a roll but perfectly toasted. I also ordered a fried egg and a roll, but they didn't bring it until my meal was almost completely finished. It turned out to be an egg sandwich, which is not how it was described on the menu. Nevertheless, it was also very good! I do hope it survives as it's one of my favorite places in Round Rock. We need to support Torresbee. Give it a try!

Yelp
We live in the area and had been wanting to check it out so we did a few weeks ago, at a weird meal time on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded but does seem to be at peak times and we were seated immediately. I got a Roy Rogers to drink and she got a water but in the future, I'd like to try one of their mixed drinks. The Roy Rogers was decent but probably needed more grenadine. We decided the best way to try their food was to do a few different apps and share an entree so that's what we did. To start, we shared the coxinha and also the bolinhas. One of us preferred one of them whereas the other person did the other but they were both decent. For an entree, we got the Feijoada and the waiter advised us to get the greens for the side, which wouldn't be my typical choice but boy, was he right. The greens had such great flavor and made a great compliment when eaten with the Feijoada. Overall, nothing but positive things to say.

Yelp
Me: if you could eat anything tonight what would you choose? Friend: Authentic Brazilian food...I know a place I'm so glad that we got to check this place out because it did NOT disappoint!! The service from the time I walked and asked if they could seat a party of 6-7 for a small celebration without hesitation they said inside or out. The service was 10/10!! From answering all of our questions, to checking on us consistently throughout the night, making sure we enjoyed every dish and drink. The space is cute and also clean. The decor is modern with pop of color (green) it's not too much but also calming. Now for the food...EVERYTHING we tried was absolutely amazing!! My steak was so tender, full of flavor and not dry. The sides were def the cherry on top. I didn't even get pictures of everything we ordered but it was all so tasty. Then came the desserts and usually I don't even order desserts because when the food is good I leave nothing and have no room. Idk how I managed to try each one and they were so delicious. I will def be back adding this to my regulars. Thank you for a wonderful night helping us celebrate a colleague.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere. Family friendly. They brought out purse hooks as we sat down. I love that someone really considered some pain point for women diners. Staff was warm and welcoming. Anna our server was bubbly and offered great recommendations. Food was tasty. I went with chicken parm. My sister had the beef stroganoff. Both were yummy. Star of the show was the chicken appetizer with a green garlicky dip. Chef's kiss! We'll definitely be back. They offer a Sunday brunch and live Brazilian music in the evening.

Yelp
Fantastic little restaurant in a busy shopping center shared with Randall's. There are many things on the menu, but we tried the pizza. Brazilian style pizza must be mostly about the cheese. Our Pizza de Calabresa Acebolada was like a cheese overload--and this wasn't even their cheesiest pizza. Not that I mind cheese--I love it. But this was super-duper-over-the-top cheesy. Bear that in mind when you order and ask your wait staff. Our friends that we dined with got other dishes due to dietary constraints. At some point their side of the table was filled with what seemed like 15 small plates and bowls. It all looked good, but the serving sizes seemed diminutive. The ambiance is modern and a bit flashy in terms of graphics, but the main dining room is reasonably quiet. There is a large patio outside with lots of seating when the weather cooperates. Our service was provided by a kind young lady. There may have been a bit of language barrier in describing dishes we were unfamiliar with, but it worked out in the end and our orders were correct the first time. Our waitress provided excellent service to us. Will I come back again for the pizza? Absolutely! But we might try another that has less cheese. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Loved TorresBee! Having worked in Brazil for several years, I have yet to see any good Brazilian restaurants in the area (outside of the steakhouses). First thing I noticed was a lot of spoken Portuguese, which definitely created a Brazil vibe. I got the Feijoada entree which included Farofa (usually toasted cassava) which took me right back to Brazil! I never had Feijoada in Brazil, but when I had it here, the flavors certainly reminded me other dishes in the past (especially the black beans). Really happy with the presentation and flavors. We also got the infamous cheesy bread (Pao de Queijo) which is baked to order so it showed up mid meal (our server did inform us about the timing which was fine). Another delicious item. We didn't do any dessert as our bellies have a limited capacity, but the desserts looked incredible (pictured). We are looking forward to returning and trying some other menu items and hopefully some dessert. Oh and service was superb! Thanks Ana C!

Yelp
This place was recommended to my husband by his dentist who is Brazilian. The food here is delicious and they have such a wide variety of options. The restaurant itself is very large, spacious and clean. Kind of like an upscale sports bar. They have a beautiful dessert counter and freezers where they offer frozen options of some of their foods available for purchase. Now I will say that for lunch, the entrees can add up, so I wouldn't consider it a regular lunch place in my price range. However, the last time I came here, I came with a group and we wanted to taste more things so we each ordered a few appetizers. They were very filling and it was a great way to get a sampling of the menu. My favorites were the Coxinhas and the Dadinho de Tapioca. As an entree, I had the Picanha, which was cooked well and I liked that it came with several sides such as rice, beans and a veggie mix. They came in their own bowls which they explained is a traditional way for food to be served in Brazil. This place also offers amazing desserts! My favorites were the coconut ones called Beijinhos. There is such an incredible variety of food that I do want to go back and try it all - especially the breakfast!

Yelp
This is a Brazilian restaurant, not a steakhouse in Round Rock. They have ample seating with indoor and outdoor options. They have a good variety of Brazilian foods that range from finger foods to real entrees. I've been there maybe 3times and service was a bit slow. Food wise you can't go wrong with their salgadinhos. The bolinha de queijo and their coxinha de frango are simply amazing. They fry it as ordered so they are going to come pretty hot to the table. Please be aware of that. Also, try guaraná which is a Brazilian soft drink. For the stroganoff I thought the price was a bit steep, for the amount of food that is served. Their brigadeiro in their bolo de cenoura was really good, but the cake itself was a little dry. I have heard they have great pizza as well, but no GF options, so unfortunately I can't try them. Hopefully they will include that in their menu soon.

We definitely will be back To try some other ones,.. The pineapple and mint juice omg !! So good !!! Inside is very casual & relaxing We were not a big fan of the steak for it was a bit tough but the bacon dust was very interesting and tasty Beans n rice has lots of flavor as the sampler plate was good but different Sauces are really good !!!!!

Yelp
Stopped in during the evening when there was live music on the patio. I ordered pastries to go from the dessert case. They looked fantastic in the case! They looked fantastic boxed up and they looked fantastic when I got them home. Very elevated looking desserts. I got the Brigadeiro, pudim, sonho de pistache, camafeu de pistache. The employee assured me that the pistachio didn't have any almond and he was right! They tasted authentic and delicious and I would love to get the sonho again as the bread/pastry was sooo good. I was not as impressed with the pudim as it isn't as good as some of the flan I've had before. Prices reflect the quality as some of the items are over $10. I would like to try their savory/entrees in the future as I was very impressed with the quality of the desserts and the cleanliness and look of the restaurant.

Yelp
We absolutely loved eating at TorresBee! Authentic Brazilian food and so, so good! If I lived here, I'd come every week. Must stop!

Jason C.

Yelp
I've been wanting to eat here for months now after a worker at the Brazilian Market nearby recommended it to me. It was amazing. I ordered the feijoada which was very delicious. I came here with my family. I can't remember what they ordered but they all said they really enjoyed it. We also got dessert. Flan, churros w/ caramel, and cake. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you to Jr, our server, he did a great job! I highly recommend this place!

Chris U.

Yelp
Went for lunch and our server, Pedro helped us decide on a brasilian pizza and stroganoff de frango. Excellent food, excellent service! Obrigado

Yelp
Torressbee is what happens when good food tries to survive in a hurricane of confusion. Let's get one thing straight--the food is actually pretty good. The flavors slap, the menu's got promise, and if you squint hard enough through the chaos, you might even enjoy yourself. But here's where it all unravels: service and logistics. We came with a party of 10, hoping for a fun evening. What we got? Outdoor seating next to a live performer doing their best while we sweated through our outfits, tried to hear each other over music, and slowly lost our will to socialize. I specifically asked for an indoor table to enjoy the AC and, you know, have an actual conversation--but it was like shouting into the void. And the drinks? Tasty. Real potential. But so full of ice they turned into flavored water faster than you can say "this was a mistake." Honestly, this place is probably ok if you come with a small group--like four max--and mentally prepare for a little mayhem. But for a big party, or if you're hoping for ambiance that isn't sweaty concert meets dinner roulette, look elsewhere. Will I return? Probably not. But hey, credit where it's due--the food was solid. It's the experience that left a weird taste in my mouth.

Yelp
Food: so tasty! We tried: 1. Stroganoff de Franco -- chicken in a white sauce with mushrooms topped with crispy potato sticks served with white rice. I'm coming back for more soon! 2. Escondidinho de Carne is the Brazilian version of Shepherd's Pie -- tasty comfort food. 3. Bolinhas de Queijo -- mozzarella cheese balls with garlic parsley dipping sauce. All delicioso! Staff: Ana and David are both attentive, cheerful, and pleasant. We'll definitely be back with our family and friends.
google avatar

Nasiah R.

Yelp
This restaurant is really cute and looks clean and well kept. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I only tried the desserts so I can't speak to the food. I had the beijinho, brigadero, and camafeu de morango. The desserts were so delicious! I throughly enjoyed each treat. I will definitely be back to try more treats and to try some entrees.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious surprise! So I was not familiar with Brazilian food before eating here. Found this place by accident because something else was closed and so glad we did. Caroline was the sweetest server and very helpful in explaining dishes and recommendations. They have weekly specials and outdoor dining options. Also saw post regarding live music on Saturday night. We will definitely be back and looking forward to trying other items. Everyone in our group was impressed and we all left full and happy.

Yelp
I used to live near Santa Maria RS and this was a perfect taste of Brasil! Amei tudo que comi lá!

Yelp
Passing it on... a friend shared her love of this new spot with me a few weeks ago, I did the same with another friend today! They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert... plus items to go for dining at home! Have you ever needed a quick, delicious, beautiful treat to take somewhere? The dessert case is a work of art! The service is always exceptional, it's clean, quick, and no matter what time you go, it's humming with people.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a 10/10. The food is amazing, and our server Ana was super attentive and friendly! The churros are a must have!
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this place through delivery (Grubhub) and it was very good. The food was delicious, the Togo containers were clearly made with presentation in mind and they made it quicker than the time the app said. I actually want to go see the place in person now. 10/10 you should try it at least once
google avatar

Liz G.

Yelp
Wow! This restaurant was 10/10. My cousin took my family here while we were visiting round rock and I am SO thankful he did. To start off we got a sample platter, it was fresh and the flavors were exquisite, we were brought two dipping sauces of pepper jelly and what I believe to be a garlic mayo dip. Next, my main course arrived, I got the Picanha and it was mouth watering, cooked to perfection. The sides presented with the steak complimented the meal well. I tried a bit of everyone's food and I was never disappointed. The food here is high quality and absolutely amazing. The service was just as good as the food. Our server was very kind, she seated us immediately checked on us regularly and explained the traditional way to eat things when we were confused. She was very friendly and I had a really good experience. Finally the ambiance, inside is nice and spacious, the bathroom is clean and the main area is as well. Overall I had a solid experience here and highly recommend trying this place out.
google avatar

Heloisa D.

Yelp
I ordered uber eats from this place and so far is the best Brazilian food I have ever tried in Austin. The food is really authentic and I recommend!
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. This is a Brazilian Cafe with authentic Brazilian food. If you're not familiar the staff there are all Brazilian and can educate you on all of the items that are listed. Now the menu is simple it's not overcomplicated, however the food was amazing. We started with the cheese balls and some kind of garlic sauce. I can't pronounce the name because it's in Portuguese however it was amazing my husband had the pasty and it was stuffed with cheese and ham I had the Brazilian steak and it was flavorful without sauce it had a nice char on it. The star of the night was our server Victoria! She was Johnny on the spot and very helpful when asking questions about the menu. The ambiance there was very warm and inviting. I can't recommend this place enough and please give Victoria a huge shout if you happen to go in she's amazing but I have to say all of our servers were.
google avatar

Michel F.

Yelp
I was very underwhelmed by the $29 brunch. Many of the items were cold, nothing tasted exceptionally good and it's nearly all doughy stuff and sweet carbs. No fruit, no soup, no veggies and the deli meats and cheese are super basic. The eggs were so overcooked and dry that didn't even try them. Only thing that was good was the coffee mixed with their creamy chocolate. Service was nice but food is really not great.
google avatar

Angela M.

Yelp
Will you came to check this out as it is close by the house and I was not sure what Brazilian comfort food wooden tail. So we got the sampler platter which was a lot of deep fried goodness. I really enjoyed the combination of the mashed potatoes and cheese and the dipping sauces. Everything was super fresh. We also had the Nutella and strawberry crepe that was made with tapioca flour. It was a little bit different and kind of crumbly since it was gluten free but the kids liked it. We tried to get some of the fresh baked bread but they were completely out so we will definitely have to come back again and try that. We also tried a chicken empanada which was again very fresh and delicious deep fried goodness. We got two items to take home from the front which were Sweet treats from the bakery. Both delicious. We also had some cocktails which are very pricey. I will say they're $16 a piece base level without any added flavors. All in all it was a fairly pricey visit so I don't know if I would normally come here. Maybe to just try one dish or a few sides, but it is a nice addition to the area and the service was amazing. I love the setup inside and it is really great that we're getting more food diversity out in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Food is delicious.. reminds me of São Paulo.. excellent service.. very polite and friendly.. place is nice and quiet.. got to enjoy a nice lunch

Angela H.

Yelp
We are gluten-free. The menu had the gluten-free items marked. I got Strogonoff de Carne. It was delicious! Or server was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew what was in the items (since we're gluten-free). We will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

Yelp
A friend suggested we try this place for lunch, and what a fantastic suggestion it was! This Brazilian restaurant is located in the Randall's shopping center in Round Rock. It has a very nice ambiance, and our server Stephanie was excellent! She was attentive and fun to talk to. She was also quite knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some dishes we might enjoy. My friend and I shared the Sample Platter which contained three cheesy appetizers and the mini pasteis (six fried pastries containing a choice of chicken, beef or cheese or a combo of all three) and the burrata salad. Everything was delicious, and I ended up taking home one of the fresh-made pizzas for my husband and me. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning soon.
google avatar

Shane L.

Yelp
Have this place a try tonight and not disappointed. Sorry but I can't pronounce the dishes or spell them correctly but they were good. Bread cheese poppers basically. Shepards pie, and a couple different desserts rounded out the meal for us. Service was great and fast. A truly enjoyable
google avatar

Bailey W.

Yelp
It was great! we loved everything. I recommend the tapioca. We also got coffee and juice
google avatar

Marcia H.

Yelp
The food is amazing and, the staff very friendly and love the ambience. I already want to ho back.

Yelp
Brunch was ok. The price is very expensive for what you get and coffee is supposed to be included but they charged us additional. Make sure to check your receipts. Service was good and the place is very clean. Overall I would not return to this restaurant.
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
Food is delicious. However it's is way overpriced for its portion size. Will only get it when I have serious big time craving for Brazilian food.

Matthew H.

Yelp
The food and atmosphere here are amazing. A comida e a atmosfera aqui são incríveis.

Yelp
Great spot! Really nice, casual ambiance with excellent service by Ana and Daniel. We had the Portuguese pizza, Feijoada, and chicken stroganoff. All three were amazing! My wife lived in Brasil for while and she said everything was completely spot-on and super authentic. Can't wait until they get their bar finished so we can also have a Caipirinha to complete the experience. Even if you haven't had Brazilian food before, there are lots of great dishes to check out in a very chill atmosphere at TorresBee.

Rosalind A.

Yelp
My first time visiting a Brazillian Restaurant, and having phenomenal food and service. WOW!! My daughter brought their Amazing feijoada home, and I had to visit the next day, to have more fejioda, and multiple dishes once viewing the menu, Including carne picaña, catupiry and more! The beautiful desserts looked too pretty to eat, but again my daughter brought one home, so I purchased multiple, and OMG!! Once again...Amazing! Anna and Daví made the visit super special with their kindness and top notch service. One of the few restaurants where you don't have to look for your server! Very attentive! I'll be back for the live music.on Saturday nights, food for family and catering! All around Amazing experience, Beautiful restaurant and wonderful Ambiance, inside and outside... 10 stars really!

Molly S.

Yelp
The caipirinhas are top notch.Try the dragon fruit!! The tapioca appetizer is my favorite! This place is clean, has amazing food and service! All of the employees are super nice.

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Amazing food and great atmosphere. We had the beef stroganoff, cheese bread and burrata salad all were amazing. We will be back!

Ann H.

Yelp
Food was excellent, tried appetizers, entrees and desserts. If you love cheese this is the place for you; many dishes contain cheese. Big shout out for the stuffed mashed potatoes and the feijoada, excellent. The homemade dulce de leche is a must for your dessert! Wait staff always ready to answer questions and checked in with us often. Great experience!

Lindsay K.

Yelp
TorresBee is the BEST restaurant for Brazilian food in Austin! We went two weekends in a row. Everything we have tried has been absolutely delicious!! Our server, Stephanie, was so great and amazing! She was very attentive and explained everything. 1000% recommend this restaurant and try to get Stephanie!

Wolfguard 1.

Yelp
We walked in the door and they didn't greet us right away , we asked to be seated outside and we ordered our overpriced drinks. The waitress wouldn't look at me at all and didn't take my order, she took my wife's order and took off and my wife had to call her back as she wouldn't look at me. I had her order for me as I some how couldn't get her attention. And I asked for a Dr pepper because I wasn't gonna go broke buying overpriced store bought beer, and she brought me water! The worst part was the food as it was very disappointing, I paid $20 dollars for my dinner and they gave me friggin French fries. My chicken was overcooked and felt like rubber, and their homemade tomato sauce was awful. The live music was great but a bit too loud, our overall experience sucked, we'll never go back we should've had Mexican food I instead.

Rolando V.

Yelp
the waitress ana was amazing I've been back 2 weekends to have lunch the cappuccino is on point. definitely coming back

Donna H.

Yelp
The appetizers were good but the chicken parm was very tough and I couldn't eat it. The steak kabob was meager to say the least. The cocktails were over priced. The seating was very uncomfortable and the music was too loud. I could have eaten out 3 times for the price of my ticket. I won't return!!

Jeane D.

Yelp
Viemos do Colorado pra comer a melhor feijoada. Com o melhor atendimento do Pedro e da Stephanie.

Caroline D.

Yelp
We had pastel, picanha and sonho and everything was delicious. The staff was attentive and quick, and the space is really nice. They have a sizable patio for outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back.
