Tortas Biarritz - Review - Roma - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"At Tortas Biarritz, you’ll never go wrong with the Biarritz Torta, their version of a cubana and a certified flavor bomb. For about $6.50, you’ll get stacked pierna, milanesa, ham, gooey cheese, and avocado, elevated by their signature caramelized onions made with tomato paste. This spot that’s been around since 1940 might have a fancy name, but there’s nothing French about it. Biarritz is pure Mexico City torta culture. It’s always busy, yet somehow never overcrowded, and despite the popcorn ceilings, harsh lighting, and lack of music, it still retains an old-school charm." - Guillaume Guevara

It's good food, it's like visiting an old cantina, the menu is exactly like that. I had a pulpo en su tinta sandwich, my wife, milanesa (real beef, not soy) there's a cup with peppers in vinegar on the table. Horchata is bad, artificial syrope from the bottle and water. Good prices and good service.

Simply, they serve the best tacos in town, at least in Roma Norte. With chicken and guacamole, miam ! They have a very good services, polite personnal, a nice place to eat as a tourist. Eating outside is good on terrace. Inside you will feel more the mexican culture.

A restaurant with some years of experience. The tortas (Biarritz, octopus, cod) are the crown of the place. Good attention by the employees. The restaurant is a good place to take your meals.

One of the best place to have sandwich (Torta) I recommend Biarritz( same as cubana), bacalao. They always gives you very nice pickled chilies and vegetables

This is the budget Olive garden of tortas. It has nice outdoor seating, they serve a wide array of drinks, and the food isn't awful. The facilities are clean and the staff is nice. However, it's lackluster, and given the array of tortas available at street vendors, you shouldn't be coming here for a great meal. This is a cheap meal that is safe for those that want to try a Mexican sandwich without taking any risk.

Best Tortas I have had in CDMX so far. More healthy than the alternatives. Filling and cheap!

Order the torta Biarritz and sister it with the roasted garlic. I meet a friend here so we can eat this torta every time I visit Mexico City.

Good old fashioned tortas with a special touch on the house specials. Great balance between flavor, ambiance and location.

Yelp
Average food at slightly above-average prices. Atmosphere and service is decent. The food is just not that great especially compared to other places. Even some street vendors outdo Biarritz, and for a lot less money.
