The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. Food here has easily made it on to my comfort list, not to mention value for the amount you receive for the price. Monday night fajitas for two has become a regular visit and the old number 8 can't be ignored either. Wether dining alone, as a group, or family I can't recommend them enough!

Google
Tortilla Marissa's is a must-visit for delicious Mexican food! 🌮🔥 The chile rellenos and fajitas hit the spot—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. 🌶️🥩 The chips and salsa were on point, fresh and addictive. 🫔✨ Oh the prickly pear Margarita was so good, I had to have another.... And the fried ice cream? Ah perfection! 🍨🔥 The service was friendly and attentive, and the cute decor made the whole experience even better. 🌵🎉 A great spot for a tasty meal with a fun atmosphere—highly recommend! 🙌💃

My daughter and I stopped in for the first time. Had an amazing lunch! Service was excellent and our orders were brought to us in a timely manner. Definitely recommend the chicken chimichanga!

Google
*****STAY AWAY HORRIBLE FOOD********The food was bad. Medium rare sirloin well done. Green chili is pure cumin powder gross can stuff. Minute rice.. First and last. Tortillas are stale store bought. They serve Tortillas in a bad for take.out. chicken is chopped into pieces and burnt. The artichokes are hard. It was on going. We ordered a second dinner, *****STAY AWAY HORRIBLE FOOD!!!!******

Honestly, we were just craving Mexican food on a recent drive from Laramie to run errands. It was really close to 5pm, and we expected the crowds this time of year to be crazy, even on a Wednesday. There were only a few cars in the parking lot, but we "what-the-hell"-ed it. The menu was a little unusual from "standard", but hubby ordered fajitas, and i ordered the layered enchilada casserole. Hubby claimed he was satisfied by the salsa. He equated it to Paco. Our dinners, though! I fell in love with the enchilada casserole at first bite. So YUM! He really liked his fajitas, too. The servers were great, and I'll be having my new favorite casserole for a few visits before I try other menu items (I'm in love!), though I know they will be equally delicious! Portions were good, and next time I'm getting a margarita!

Google
The best part of this place was the service. The waiter was magical. The Fajitas were not bad. The meat was well seasoned and tender. My only gripe was the guacamole was kind of black and the lettuce was not totally fresh. The 9 year old loved her food. She got a bean burrito and the flan. The artichoke dip was perfect as well.

Google
Extraordinary service second to none. The food quality is out of this world, friendly staff, great atmosphere, very clean and tidy. The waiter was very attentive and recommended food choices. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The prices are very reasonable they won't hurt your wallet. I will be eating again at this great restaurant again soon.

Google
It was our first time in, and despite being very busy we got our food served to us very quickly. The atmosphere was nice, along with the food, and everyone who worked there was prompt to greet us and check up on us. 5/5 for Tortilla Marissa’s

Yelp
My grandparents love this place, so cool how long it's been around! Such a fun and colorful place too :) As someone who gets picky about seasonings, I really appreciate the ingredients for certain sides being listed on the menu. The chicken nachos were great!

Natalie V.

Yelp
Best frozen margs in town! We love Fajitas For Two on Mondays. It comes with a heapin' helping of steak, peppers and onions, with all the best toppings as well. (Sour cream, guac, lettuce, tomato, cheese and lime). Carrie is by far my favorite server. She is kind, charismatic and prompt. The whole staff is really welcoming and helpful. It is a cozy spot with beautiful decor and quite a bit of seating. Definitely one of my go to spots in town for a date night.

Yelp
My wife and I ate at TM's again today, and it was better than ever! I had the "Arroz con Mariscos" for $16.99. The menu description is: "Grilled seasoned salmon or shrimp served atop a bed of rice with either Roasted Pepper Cream Sauce or Tomatillo Sauce and fresh guacamole." I had it with the Roasted Pepper Cream Sauce, and it was just dee-lish-us!! The salmon was perfectly seasoned (a little spicy, a little tasty), and it came out sitting on a bed of brown rice, piping hot, topped with a ball of fresh guac. I dove in immediately while my wife started on her usual Sunset Burrito. The menu describes it like this: "Sunset Burrito $13.99/+ Artichoke con queso and refried beans inside a flour tortilla and topped with a choice of sauce and melted cheeses. Served with southwestern rice. Steak, Carnitas (Spicy), Chicken, Beef, Portabella Mushrooms $15.99" She got it w/portabello mushrooms, as usual, and said it was as tasty as ever! We both took about half of our serving home, because the portions are just HUGE! They have changed it since the picture I found online. Today, it came out big and round. My wife could probably not put her hands around it even if she had wanted to. If you haven't been recently, put your paper down and head down for supper. You will NOT regret it!

Yelp
My family ate out at tortilla marissas last week. First time in I dont know how long. Many many years. The restaurant was clean, cute and comfy. It was quiet on a saturday night. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. She was also very attentive. We had some questions on the menu as is always the case when i try somewhere new. The corn chips are gluten free. The corn tortillas are gluten free. I ordered some fajitas minus the cheese and sour cream to make it vegan. My daughter who is vegetarian got some stacked enchiladas with some kind of cream green chili sauce. The traditional green chili has pork in it. The refried beans are vegetarian. We all really enjoyed our meal. Everything was so tasty and the portion size was good. The only part we did not really enjoy was the salsa that came with the chips. It just wasn't as good as some other places we have been. It was fun to realize we have another choice for a night out.

Yelp
The salsa and chips were fresh and quite tasty. However, the salsa is served warm which I thought was a bit odd but it was tasty and the veggies in it were fresh and not soggy. I had a chili relleno and a cheese enchilada. The relleno was not as crispy as I'd like it but it wasn't soggy or greasy and was delicious. The cheese enchilada had the right amount of cheese and the sauce is spicy and flavorful. The tacos are seasoned well and have a generous amount of filling. The shell of the taco was very fresh but did not fall apart. The refried beans were real beans and not the reconstituted beans you find in too many restaurants. They are made fresh, seasoned well and quite tasty. The house margaritas are good and very strong. Service was excellent. There was only one man waiting the tables. He was friendly and very efficient. However, more attention needs to be paid to the cups. We got a cup that was chipped and should not have been used.

Yelp
Service was worse than I remembered the last time I swore off Tortilla Marissa's. We never recieved water or menus in the 10 minutes we sat in a sticky booth. When we walked out the manager looked right at us and didn't speak a word. Super friendly.....I can't speak to the food as we never got the chance to order. Based on the ambiance of the restaurant, I wasn't missing much. I keep hoping it'll close and something good will replace it in that location. STAY AWAY AT ALLL COSTS. JUST TERRIBLE.

Julie B.

Yelp
Ordered enchiladas. Simple meal. Very bad, tasted like warmed up burnt, Two day old chicken pieces, cheap cheese. Tacos very mediocre. Black beans scraped off bottom of pan. Stuck together. Sweet waitress. Need a new chef and new customer service at front. Love the decor! Love supporting local but sure we will go back

Samira S.

Yelp
Every time my boyfriend and I come in here we always get Shawn as our server and he always delivers great service. The salsa and chips are delicious. I got the fajitas for the first time and the steak was great! Amazing place to eat and great dessert options.

Yelp
We eat out 2-3 times a week and this was bar far the worst food we have ever had, ever. Started with the queso - just awful. Took a few bites between us and the aftertaste was hard to describe - but never had anything with cheese taste like it wasn't actually cheese - it was just ... weird. Then came the enchiladas, fajita "steak," and rice. Again just awful. The steak wasn't any type of meat I have ever had before - it looked like a Salisbury steak you used to get in school cafeterias - but not nearly as good. The rice was bland, but probably the only thing I could have finished. The enchiladas were again an a very very odd tasting cheese - anything but Mexican flavor you'd expect. The other thing, we ordered was the nachos and again after a couple of bites - you just had to stop. We have never walked out after a few bites but simply had to - we paid in full and left. Funny thing was the waitress didn't even seem that shocked when left a table full of food uneaten and she asked why and we told her it just wasn't good. On a positive note - the waitress was very nice and friendly.

Yelp
Chill :) nice salsa. Helpful hostesses. Spacious. The food was a no. Cooks you can make good food there's YouTube Mexican recipes to read watch listen and learn from. Using no spice other than cayenne isn't good food.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
The best Mexican food around! It's a hefty drive for us, so we occasionally try other Mexican restaurants, plus we eat Mexican whenever we travel. When all's said and done, this is the place that keeps us coming back. It offers a warm, casual atmosphere, incredible food (with lots of vegetarian options!), and super-friendly service. Even if things aren't perfect during a visit, we know it was still better than having gone elsewhere. You just can't beat the food, service, and warm vibe.

Yelp
The tea was good. Chips were good. For a place called tortilla I expected fresh. They taste like discount grocery store tortillas. The steak fajitas were fatty and had some nasty sauce on them. Rice -taste like it was out of a 90 sec pack. Tacos nasty $38 with tip for LUNCH. 90% on table when we left.

Analise R.

Yelp
The food is pretty awful but I'll give it a 2 for an amazing, friendly server! There's nothing fresh about the salsa they give. I asked for medium steak for my fajitas, steak was completely well done. If you know nothing about Mexican food it may be okay, but someone who has ate authentic Mexican food, this place falls really short

Yelp
We decided to order delivery after seeing them pop up here on Yelp. I ordered through the Yelp app, which worked well except for one issue. I was not informed of an additional $5 fee for ordering through grub hub (on top of almost $5 delivery fee). I'm glad the restaurant was friendly with me as I worked through the issue with GrubHub. So, word of warning, double check the fees and call immediately if you have concerns. Anyway, onto the food! I particularly enjoyed the Yucatán soup with lime and sour cream added. I ordered the Shrimp Quesadilla and it was delicious! Good amount of crispy charred shrimp with cheese and guac. The mango salsa was a great mix of spicy/sour/sweet, I ate it like a side dish and not as a topping for the quesadilla. My partner ordered the Number 8 and was very happy with the variety and amount of food. We'll be ordering from Tortilla Marissas again in the future! Thanks!

Yelp
This place has REALLY gone downhill. It used to be one of my favorite Mexican joints when it had the original owners but man it was horrible today. All of the food was basically un- edible. Cheap meats, microwaved food, horrible flavor and overall just greasy. The place is filthy and everything was sticky . We couldn't even finish our margaritas!

Cheryl G.

Yelp
Had the Monday Chicken Fajitas special for two. They were very tasty and just the right amount of food. Chips, salsa and margaritas were very good too! Will definitely go back again.
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
This place used to be my favorite white and cheap mexican food place in fort collins. Now it isnt. I think they got a new cook. Everything I would get here would taste good. I used to like the nachos and now they arent loaded like they used to be, they are soggy, not much cheese, they put their wet salsa on their and also alot of wet black beans and this makes them soggy, also they are always overcooked. Not really my go to place anymore sad to say.

Yelp
The 5 stars go to the Avocado Tacos. I took one bite and I fell in love. I've never seen a taco option like this before with the fried avocado! I added steak for just 1.50 more. Our server suggested getting them Baja style and I'm glad I did! They were soooo tasty. For dessert, we got the sopaipilla to share and it was big enough for 4 people! It was delicious. You can't be a Mexican restaurant unless you have good margaritas. Tortilla Marissa's definitely does them well. You can get the classic or a flavored one. The classic are only $2.50 during lunch! The service was good and we felt very taken care of! We were sat right away, our server was nice and friendly, and our drinks were always filled. We loved Tortilla Marissa's!

Samantha R.

Yelp
The worst food I have ever eaten, even my husband said it was horrible, rice tasted like it was a 90s microwave rice, we didn't even take more than two bites of our food the Queso had the worst after taste. Not sure what is up with the restaurant but it's horrible!!
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
Great margaritas! Salsa was mediocre, definitely could be spicier! Food was great. I had the chili relleno dinner. Rice was really good. Our server Sean was very friendly and the service was great!

Kristi H.

Yelp
Best service and food, I love this place, I always feel at home. Mike, Sean and Ashley are always the best.

Yelp
Maybe my problem started by ordering take-out instead of eating inside? The takeout containers were pressed cardboard instead of foam -- good job in concept. But the closed containers acted like steamers in the time it took for delivery, so the fresh tomatoes in the street tacos were cooked to mush and the tortillas fell apart in shreds. I ended up just dumping everything into a pile and eating it with a fork. But the real shortcoming of the street tacos was a liberal inclusion of chopped green chilies and strong onions. It was right at the edge of too spicy to eat. Please... you can add chiles on the side and I can munch them if I like the spiciness, but if you chop them and put them inside, how can I regulate the spice level? Maybe a different chile choice might have helped, too. We also got chips and salsa. The chips were unusually thin and well salted. Again, the salsa was very spicy. I expected and enjoyed spicy when I lived in El Paso and traveled in New Mexico. Done right, it adds to the food experience. I guess my mouth just isn't ready these days -- like made of boot leather. Still, there are some very interesting and less common choices on the menu, so YMMV from mine.

Yelp
Been coming here for 30 years. Cannot say enough about the quality, freshness, friendliness of this second home!

Yelp
Honestly, we arrived in Fort Collins today after a long day in airports. We perused the menus provided by our hotel And Tortilla Marissa's seemed to be just what we were looking for. We were going to get our meals for take out but decided to say and glad we did. Enjoyed some amazing food, cold beer, and had we done take out, we would not have seen the order of dessert nachos go by. Yes, we ordered and had an amazing dessert and fresh, hot coffee. Would recommend in a heartbeat!! Staff was more than accommodating, professional, and friendly.

Cindy Lou M.

Yelp
Move to Wyoming two years ago from California " San Diego " we took a day trip to Fort Collins and had lunch here. It was the best Mexican food I have since leaving CA. I would make the trip just for lunch/dinner. The staff was the best. If you are in Fort Collins CO. A must eat. I had steak fajitas.
google avatar

MirLo S.

Yelp
We had the best server ever. Extremely attentive her name was Shauna, or at least that's the name on the bill:) great service. BUT food was not it. We got carnitas, enchiladas and chips and guac. Tasted like there was mystery meat in the carnitas. We guessed chicken. Enchiladas had the same mystery meat. The guac tasted bland. overall the service was great but the food was a waste of money.
google avatar

Martha A.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered the sopaipillas for dessert and it was a warm, pillowy goodness served with cinnamon ice cream.

Judi H.

Yelp
Delicious relleno's!!! Excellent service! Thank you tortilla Marissa's...we will be back!!!

Aspen L.

Yelp
What a fantastic night! Skylar was our waitress and she made the whole experience! She was witty and hilarious!

James K.

Yelp
This place had great service, and very nice people, but the Mexican food was probably the worst option in town. Been to many places across Fort Collins, and this place, while very friendly, just didn't seem to have food that was appealing at all. Kind of sad for the cute environment they have but the food just didn't live up to expectation

Diamatom T.

Yelp
I drove by on Friday December 2, 2022 scoping restaurants. Decided to try for lunch on Saturday. Place is not authentic at all. Food was not what I was expecting (beef fajitas). The beef was tough as nails and had no taste of what I am accustomed. The highlight was their house Margarita. That hit the spot. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for great and authentic Mexican fare.
google avatar

Claudia B.

Yelp
Great food with big portions. Good margaritas. Always have had quick service from friendly staff. One of the better Mexican places in Fort Collins!
google avatar

Susan C.

Yelp
Thanks for being open for takeout during the virus. We stopped there to order our favorite chile rellenos in town and were not disappointed! Mike took our order, payment via our credit card, and brought our order with gloves and mask to our car. We truly appreciate the great quality of your food and the friendly service we always receive. Thanks team! We will be back again and again!

Yelp
I hadn't been here in years! A friend invited me and said that this restaurant was under new management and that I should give it another try. I'm glad I did. The food is made fresh to order and is flavorful. The fresh salsa they serve with the chips is unique in that it is warm. The ambience is quaint and inviting. The food is more Tex-Mex but is tasty. They have an extensive menu with tacos, burritos, enchiladas, rellenos, fajitas, as well as steals and seafood platters. The cheese dips and appetizers are great as well. We had flautas, chile rellenos, and avocado tacos. All were tasty and very filling. The table next to us ordered the super nachos which where enough to feed 10 people! The spices and flavors are excellent and the prices are affordable. They have a two for one special on fajitas all day Monday's. The desserts are really good and filling. We had the fried ice cream and sopapillas.

Yelp
Very slow service and I ordered an Arnold Palmer and it came back pretty clear like water. No lemonade taste what so ever I asked the manager if maybe their lemonade was out and he looked at me and said no very rudly. He came back with another Arnold Palmer and said nothing was wrong with their lemonade. It was still weak they just put in a bit more ice tea for color this time Have been going to this restaurant since it opened on the 80's. Last few times it has gone down hill. Sorry to say I probably won't be back. There are way better restaurants now in FOCO

Olivia G.

Yelp
Wish I can give a 0 star. When we first got there, we got two glasses of water which had green floating stuff in it. We asked for new water and the kind waiter gave us some and apologized to us! However, the manager- Mike -had other ideas for us. He brought out our food, and stuck his thumb in my sour cream. His words were "ha oops". He turned around to walk away, so I stoped him and asked if I can get a new sour cream. He rolled his eyes snatched the sour cream from us and walked away. Whatever he may have been having a bad day? It happens. While I waited for my new sour cream, I notice how dusty the windowsill was. Next thing you see is a dead bug being tossed around by a fly. Look over to the other window, and see a piece of shredded cheese. Does not look like they do their daily cleaning lists. Also, the booth I was sitting in was broken. Whenever you reached over the table to grab some chips, I about got flung out of my seat! Super unsafe. When I brought it up to the manager - Mike - he threw my card at me, threw the receipt book at me and walked away once again.

Yelp
We've been in Fort Collins for two years and have yet to find a decent Mexican restaurant. Granted we are from Texas and there are a gillion hole in the wall taquerias and cafes. TM's reminds me of one of my favorite restaurants - Tortugas. A nice blend of Baja Cal/Mex and other styles mixed in. We had the lunch combo special. I had the chicken enchilada and Yucatan chicken soup. Both were presented well and excellent. I like that they took the time to create a presentation rather than just pile on a bunch of iceberg lettuce and chopped tomato. This is the first full-service Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins I would go back to. The table next to us had two lovely dishes - red enchiladas and a tortilla stack with shrimp covered in their signature artichoke cream sauce. Both looked very inviting!

Mike M.

Yelp
I love me a good meal at Tortilla Marissa's! They have great food and great atmosphere, and I always see the parking lot full when driving by. I started going to Tortilla Marrissa's a while back, and their food has never disappointed. I ALWAYS get the make your own combo meal, and it's always a great pick. This option gives me a choice of almost half of their menu, just smaller quantities. I HAVE to say that you need to try the Portabella Mushroom burrito as part of the make your own combo. It doesn't say it on the menu, but you can switch up your burrito to almost any of the options that they have. And their portabella mushroom burrito is KEY to a happy tummy. I also always order a chile relleno (crispy of course) and mmm mm definitely a great choice as well. The atmosphere is always great, and they have a good happy hour special on margs.
google avatar

Daniel F.

Yelp
The absolute worst salsa in the world. It was hot and taste like the back end of a donkey. I would not let my dog eat here. I couldn't even finish my steak burrito because it was so bad. Don't!! do not go here!!
google avatar

Lindy S.

Yelp
We started with the Artichoke Queso, which was an interesting (good) twist on your typical cheese bowl. It was creamy cheese with chunks of artichokes and a nice chile-induced zip. He had the combo platter and I had the Tortilla flats, in an effort to try something unique. It was sort of like a quesadilla or Mexican lasagna, with chicken and cheese layered in tortillas. I opted to just have it smothered in green chile, and it was some of the best I have had. The serving sizes were generous, and we had enough odds and ends to take home for my husband to take lunch the next day. I believe the owner was our waiter and he was very friendly an entertaining during our visit.

Libby S.

Yelp
Simply not very good. Service was great and prices were fine, but the food was really bad. I am from San Diego and I'm always looking for good mexican food here and this was not it. My friend and I both thought it tasted like chemicals. We got the steak fajitas and a soft taco plate.
google avatar

Ryan N.

Yelp
Service: 5 Food: 3.5 Atmosphere: 4 If you're craving Mexican food and not looking for anything special, you can't go wrong with Tortilla Marissa. Their most popular dish is the Roasted Signature Chile Rellenos; a very mild dish with very traditional flavors. The stuffed chile's come with a side of Mexican rice & beans that are very bland and lack flavor. The chile's themselves are very delicious, with a bit of a crunch they offer a lot of flavor. Overall there is nothing overly special or unique about this restaurant. I would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere causal and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Zach M.

Yelp
Wife and I were lucky enough to find this little gem. If you get a chance stop by and give them a try. Kyle is the bomb.

Treyvon M.

Yelp
I will NEVER eat here again! Nasty burnt food that I threw up when I got home!

Lucy M.

Yelp
I made fun of Colorado's concept of good Mexican food until I came here. Been a customer for years because the salsa is amazing and the hot sauce is terrifying. I do not recommend the salmon though, legit may be microwaved but I'm picky about fish so idk.

Ja'Layia J.

Yelp
Overall good food and flavors I ordered green sauce enchiladas and steak fajitas and I ordered a side salad with that and OMG the chopped lettuce was Brown so no bueno for me. I may try them again but not the salads
google avatar

Jane C.

Yelp
Yuk. My baja tacos were inedible. The tortillas were so soaked with wet mango salsa it could not be picked up without it falling apart. The beans had zero flavor. One highlight....The water was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean. But clearly survives as folks in this area have no clue what good Mexican tastes like
google avatar

S M.

Yelp
Loved the southwest-mex food. Great price for an authentic margarita flan was the real deal, yummy. everything was fresh and clearly not pre-made.

R H.

Yelp
Best burritos I've eaten in Fort Collins so far. I've had the steak burrito and the carnitas burrito, both are really good, but out of the two...the carnitas one is my favorite. Nice and spicy and the pork was cooked just right and was still moist. They also have really good chips and salsa, although I still prefer my salsa room temperature, but it was interesting served warm. The employees are also very friendly people, which makes dinning there a pleasant experience. No doubt I will be a frequent customer.
