"All the masa here is homemade using a nixtamalization process, and much of it gets shipped out to Mexican eateries across the city to be enjoyed as tortillas and tamales. The restaurant part of the tortilleria makes nachos that hold their own in NYC’s nachoscape. The impossibly light wedges of fried corn dough stand out amid the beans, Oaxaca cheese, crema, pico de gallo, and half an avocado sliced on top. For a few bucks more, add meat." - Paul Schrodt

Small restaurant but yet very warm. Sitting back to back with perfect stranger, so when i lean back, i would touch someone's back behind me. The seats were very high, i had a hard time climbing up. I'm only 5'1". But the food is good. Atmosphere is good.

The food here was really good, even better than expected. My son said, if we're in the area, let's come back here. Even though it's small and popular, they keep the wait reasonable. Also, it is full of interesting spaces. It has high tables, cozy booths with dividers between booths, little outside high tables between tall stalks of maze. Cool place. Great food. Hey, and Guy Fiery was here! That must be good.

Everything is absolutely delicious!! Prices are very reasonable... Margaritas are made perfect with a nice kick. A Must Try if your in the area or just finishing a Mets Game

Very good place for tacos. I would call this more Tex-mex than authentic, but simple style with high quality ingredients make for fantastic tacos. The margaritas are also good. My only complaint would be the seating. Backless stool and bench type with nowhere to hang a jacket or coat anywhere is sight.

Your average Mexican food. Good but nothing special stands out. Fun decor and previous ratings attracted us here! Waitress was super sweet and helpful with answering menu questions. We got the naco app... Definitely over priced for the serving size we received. Same thing with one of the "single" platters we got to-go. They actually got our to-go order wrong but we didn't have time to wait and have them remake it, so we took it but the portion was again, too small for the price we paid. Our tacos eating in-house were average. Tamales were okay. One was too spicy and very dry, the elojote one was delicious and very original (would definitely get that again!)

Very unique! Saw the great reviews and went and was not let down. Definite go to if you’re in the area. Food was delicious and affordable!

We ordered tacos, tamales, and pazole. All of them looked and tasted authentic. However, The prices are on the expensive side. You can get similar tasting tacos and tamales in Roosevelt Ave or Sunset Park for half the price. But if you are looking for a refined Mexican meal for any occasion this is the place. Also, don't forget to get a few dozen fresh tortillas on the way home for taco night.

Got a single person lamb tacos. Very good. Ordered a side of sour cream. It was literally a teaspoon amount and was charged $2 for it.
