Incredible food, but what really sets this place apart is their cooking classes. The classes are in high demand so you have to get your tickets in advance, but it is well worth it. We had a bunch of regulars attending with us, so we knew it was going to be a great time. The owner, who instructs the class, is very kind, patient, and generous. He took his time teaching and answering questions, provided more than enough supplies, and did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful experience. We started with a cocktail and fresh focaccia bread. The marinara sauce with the bread and some other dishes was the tastiest sauce I’ve ever had. There was a self serve station for water and wine throughout the class. We made a fried risotto appetizer, pizza, spinach and cheese ravioli, and gnocchi. The owner and his staff gave one-on-one instruction when needed, and were very nice and helpful. We gave the staff everything we had prepared to be cooked in the kitchen. Our dishes were returned hot and ready for a delicious meal. There was so much food we were provided with to go containers and had it for several meals afterwards. We were also treated to limoncello gelato and limoncello shots at the very end of the class. This class was so fun and informative, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The quality ingredients, experience, drinks, and food were well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Went to the Torino class on 10/5/24. Had an amazing time - open bar, steaks, and a variety of pastas plus dessert. And loads of leftovers to take home. Very accommodating for dietary restrictions as well. Would absolutely recommend!

This is really good if you’re into fresh Italian pasties. They also have delicious pastas that you can choose from. I ordered the meatball sandwich which was around $13. It’s very filling! My favorite part about it was how fresh the meat tasted and the cheese was sooo gooey. I recommend visiting the the place if you’re on K street. 👍🏼

I really enjoyed this market. It's very similar to some of the markets I experienced while driving through southern Italy. Small and inviting with a friendly staff. There are so many options in this store, if you want to cook from scratch they have the ingredients. If you want to cook with fresh pre made pasta that's an option too. They also have fully cooked food if you just want to grab take out. You can also stop in to try all the house made sauces and desserts!

My cooking class here was one of the best experiences I’ve had living in DC. Everything was created with immense attention to detail. The space is beautiful. The staff are attentive, friendly, and patient with all skill sets. The food was delicious and bountiful. A perfect experience for a date night, evening with friends, or even a work event. My Italian cooking class started with limoncello spritz and focaccia. We made ravioli, gnocchi, and watched our chef make fresh mozzarella for an amazing burrata. All finished off with a ricotta cheesecake dessert. We left with 2-3 meals worth of our own made pasta. Cannot recommend this more. Thank you Daniele and Carlos!

I really wanted to like this place, as I’ve been there before and had a good experience. However this last time was unacceptable. Picked up an order for ravioli with vodka sauce and tiramisu. On the very short walk from the restaurant to my apartment, the sauce leaked all in my bag. My wallet, glasses, AirPods, masks, everything was COVERED in sauce. When I finally got home and opened the bag. I saw that they didn’t even close the container. All they did was put a rubber band over the container. Such sloppiness and lazy handling of my food. There’s no reason a bag that’s in my hand should spill over, if the food was properly stored. To be a high quality restaurant, the care for the food is not there. Would not recommend because of this.

This is a quaint market that sells pasta, wine and other Italian delicacies. They also sell prepared foods. Sandwiches, breads, and bomboloni donuts that you can fill with a myriad of fillings. The highlight for me was the gelato truffles omg. Had the spumoni flavor. It had a nice crunchy chocolate shell and pistachio cherry gelato.
