"Amidst the strobe lights and the thumping baselines of Boystown lies this unpretentious dive bar. With a killer jukebox, a friendly and nonjudgmental atmosphere, and local beers on tap, Town Hall is perfect for a low-key night out. The bar’s sticky floors are probably due to its many Jell-O shots served." - Grace Perry

Come see I Saw You by Bruised Orange Theater group every other Wednesday night for a great comedic date night. The cover is $5 so it won't put you out, anger the drinks are very reasonable with Great Lakes brews on tap. The bartender has been there for ages and is wonderful. The vibe is a nice and cozy dive bar. We've been coming for the show for 6 or 7 years and never get tired of it or the bar.

I love Town Hall. It's a good respite from the rest of Boystown. If you go, enjoy the jello shots and vodka soaked gummy bears. The atmosphere is very relaxed and all are welcome. I always have a great time here with no worries and no fuss.

Town Hall Pub is easily the most underrated bar in Boystown. It truly reminds me of a small, neighborhood bars where you go for a drink after work and everyone is a friend. Nothing over the top, no loud music blasting. Just a simple place to get a drink, sit down with friends, and enjoy your time.

Dive-y Boystown hot spot! Town Hall Pub is great. Unlike every other bar in the area, pretension does not exist here! Be comfortable, be relaxed and be yourself. Outstanding prices. You name it, they can make it. Don't leave without having a Pudding Shot! I can't walk by this place without stopping and having one...or 5!

Great spot to "hide away" when the rest of the Boystown bars are packed or charging cover fees. Wide open, comfortable environment with tons of comfy seating. Great prices and they offer jello shots, vodka gummies bears, pudding shots, variety trays, beer and the standard drinks available at most other bars but without the huge lines or overly crowded atmosphere. Bright, comfy and relatively quit, enough to allow for conversation within small groups, making it a perfect pre- or post-party location.

This place is great if you like dive bars. The staff is fantastic, and everyone that I have met here is friendly. It is a good place to just hang out with pals. I would definitely tell others to at least check it out for a more chill night.

I only found myself in this bar recently after living in Chicago for the past two years and I love it! The owner is incredibly sweet and the dive atmosphere is perfect after a few hours in other overcrowded venues. I will definitely be back!

This place might look sketchy from the outside but BOY is it fun inside. Very friendly staff and accepting of everybody that comes in. A must do here is a PARTY PLATTER which is a plate filled with vodka soaked gummy bears, jello shots and a chocolate pudding. You won't regret it. The only bad thing is that they only take cash.
