"Towne House at Wine & Roses, the house restaurant at the fancy hotel in town, is an equal culinary partner to the accommodations and popular spa. Many elegant dinners are served here, but the cozy fireplace in winter and selection of salads, sandwiches, and fizzy cocktails with fresh fruit purees and housemade muscovado syrups make it especially indulgent. And because the space is so lovely for a daytime meal, a brunch of superlative crunchy fried chicken with waffles or a burger with Kewpie mayo on a brioche bun could set the stage nicely for some midday, bon voyage wine tasting. Ask to sit near the fireplace." - Laura Smith Borrman

Beautiful place for nice ambiance and for Valentine's day . The set 4 course meals could of had better options with bigger portions, especially for The price we paid. cocktails was exquisite and they did not cheap out on the alcohol when making good cocktails. Outside seating was cold, I wish they had more heaters. inside lounge area was taken away for valentine's dining, so no really bar lounge area to sit. Good guitar live music was a nice touch. Overall we had a good time but probably would have gone somewhere else for Valentine's. Everyday dinner here is completely different, plenty of options for dinner and bigger portions. I recommend coming here on a regular day and not for a set course menu.

---- Introduction: ---- Towne House Restaurant (now Americana House, seriously, who comes up with these names?), located at Wine & Roses in Lodi, California, offers a high-end dining experience with an average interior atmosphere and top-notch service. Nestled within the beautiful grounds of Wine & Roses, this restaurant provides a unique and delightful culinary journey. ---- Atmosphere:---- - Outside: The restaurant is located on the side of Wine & Roses, behind their café. The setting is picturesque, surrounded by trees and gardens, giving you the feel of being in wine country. You can see caged birds, including parrots, and enjoy a peaceful walk through the grounds. - Inside: The interior was better when this restaurant was not under the management of a generic company and investor-owned. This mangament company came in and sucked the soul out of the place. The uniqueness has left the area. ***This restaurant has been sold to a different company, which came in and renamed it something very generic, 'Americana House'. *** The interior atmosphere is no longer great; it's like the soul of this place has left. Food Quality: Asparagus: Asparagus can be prepared in two ways: grilled or in a cold salad. Both versions are exceptional. - Primary Burger: The burger is juicy and delicious, made from ground steak meat and cooked to medium-rare perfection. The aioli sauce used is one of a kind and enhances the burger's flavor. - Pork Sandwich: The pork is tender and well-prepared, with a thin, perfectly seared slab. The bun is soft and moist, with a hint of olive oil that adds a refreshing flavor. - Fries: The fries are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, making them perfect. - Steak: While not a steakhouse, the restaurant prepares its steak better than many steakhouses. It is highly recommended. - Pasta and Lasagna: All pasta and sauces are made from scratch in the morning. The lasagna is amazing, with well-held-together layers and a blend of flavorful cheeses. - Desserts: The desserts change seasonally but are always great. Every dessert tried has been perfect. ---- Service:---- The service at Towne House Restaurant is superb, with staff providing a 10 out of 10 experience. They are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The quality of service is on par with that of very high-end restaurants. ---- Cleanliness: ---- The restaurant is well-kept and very clean. The floors, tables, chairs, and other furniture are meticulously maintained, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. ---- Service Dog Accommodation: ---- The restaurant is very accommodating and respectful regarding service animals. They ask the appropriate questions and ensure that seating arrangements are comfortable for guests with service animals. ---- Value for Money: ---- Towne House Restaurant offers exceptional food and service at reasonable prices. Unlike many high-end restaurants with high prices, this place provides high-quality food for a reasonable cost, making it an excellent value for the money. ---- Overall Experience: ---- I highly recommend Towne House Restaurant to anyone in the Lodi area. It is a hidden gem with outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. This restaurant deserves recognition, and it should be Michelin star-rated. If you are looking for a delightful dining experience, Towne House Restaurant is the place to go.

When I stepped foot onto this place, it felt like an oasis. Along with outside of this restaurant. The trees, flowers and even there was cockatiels and macaws to see. It's good to hear that the folks take care of their landscape job. I enjoyed every bit of this beautiful scenery outside. They do have a beautiful garden too, it's very lovely! The interior of this place is fantastic, it was relaxing and the waitress was very sweet. I got their special that wasn't on the menu and they do have good service here. Their bathroom is very fancy and vintage, which I dig that design! Overall, the rest of the staff is friendly and they're willing to help us if there's any questions.

The food and service were phenomenal! Between the duck fat potatoes, the milk bread, the smash burger, and the lemon custard tart... I was blown away! Fantastic! Normally, I try to take pictures. I ate everything so quickly there was no chance. The area outside of the restaurant is beautiful also. I had to take a stroll after lunch so I could fit in my car.

Imagine a failed fine-dining experience in the 90s before America found its own, delightful way to gastronomic greatness. The atmosphere at Towne House was neither formal (a busy table of Cab-soused patrons kept making that statement loud and clear) nor casual, but floated in the uncomfortable limbo of "trying too hard." I must admit, when I got in, a welcoming piano bar raised my expectations. Perhaps I should have stopped there, ordered a Pinot from a local winery and chatted with the bartender who wore a magnificent U-shaped mustache and squinted smiling eyes that would convince any reasonable human being to become his best friend without further ado. I was not reasonable, however, and blindly walked my way into the dining room. Tidy, with an efficient layout, some warming touches of walnut wood and clean white tablecloths - a consultant might have helped - but lacking the soul and stories that fill a space with its true essence. I didn't find the soul and stories in the food either. The grilled oysters I was served never saw the spark of a flame. They tasted like naked boiled mollusques drown in green briny oil (felt like pesto met garlic butter but the date quickly turned sour.) The "Honest acres greens" were anything but honest. The whitish watery vinaigrette was a culinary scam, and the rescue team is still looking for the rare snow peas buried underneath the sad little red leaf hill. The chicken came with a flat ball of wet spinach, onion noodles, and squash still deciding whether it was broiled or boiled. Thankfully there was pepper and salt on the table - like in the 90s! I skipped dessert. Do you remember now that failed fine-dining experience from the 90s? These restaurants were expensive but felt cheap. Note: the staff was super friendly and professional.

We had an excellent dinner! All four dishes were cooked to perfection. My sturgeon was nicely seasoned; the chicken was moist; the pork chop was very tender and the crab dish with poached egg was exotic. Our server, Tanya was very warm and friendly. Other staff were also attentive and quick. We also tried two desserts- the apple and cinnamon kulfi and the persimmon cake. The kulfi was our favorite- the poached Fuji apples with crumble hit the spot in terms of texture and taste and the right amount of sweetness. The pork rillettes appetizer was an interesting combination of tastes. Would recommend you make a reservation.

I have been enjoying this hidden gem in Lodi for over 12 years and it has been our regular Sunday brunch place. Most recently with the pandemic, this restaurant is the perfect place for safe, superb dining, and socially distanced seating. They have many tables that are spaced to comply with CDC guidelines. Staff strictly adheres to the rules and sanitation procedures. This Labor Day weekend, with temperatures over 100 and smoky poor air quality, we were so thankful for the staff's arrangement for a lovely birthday luncheon seated at two separate tables in the redwood grove area. The teak tables/chairs surrounded by beautiful redwood trees provided a healthy, refreshing, cool, and the perfect spot for our families while social distancing. There was plenty of room for a stroller for our infant. Staff was so accommodating by providing hot water in a bowl to warm up the infant's meal. As always, Wine & Roses' Towne Restaurant's fine cuisine was enjoyed by all. The kid's menu included popular and delicious selections including fruit and drinks; it was so good that my granddaughter couldn't stop eating her meal for a photo with her family. The complimentary birthday champagne and the candle on the dessert were the perfect touches to a birthday celebration. All of the staff were very attentive and non-intrusive. Water glasses were regularly refilled. We all had such a fabulous time. It was definitely worth the almost two-hour drive from San Francisco plus a bonus trip to the Lodi wineries. Please see the photos (including a few from a prior visit) for the amazing brunch and gorgeous scenic setting. Congratulations to the Chef, Restaurant Manager Tricia Maley, and Staff for consistently providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone of all ages.

I will do a more detailed review when it is available for Americana House. Food, especially the pate, was phenomenal. Rocky start, but it was the first night of the new menu and everyone fixed the issue. I cannot wait to go back again.

Yelp
We were very pleased to have the opportunity to have lunch at the townhouse. We were due to attend a wedding at wine and roses in the evening, so we thought "why not have lunch first?" And we are glad that we did. It is so happening that the weather was ideal and we were seated on the deck. We really enjoyed the whipped Chev and strawberry appetizer (requesting a few more crackers so that we left none behind), and we followed up with a salad, a fish sandwich, and a lemon pasta. Everything was wonderful. Our servers were attentive and pleasant. Finished with coffee and a Matcha cheesecake. This dessert little denser/hardier than the typical cheesecake; i'm not a big fan of cheesecake in general, but it was good. The only unfortunate part is that I live too far from Wine and Roses to make this a regular event, but we will return!

Yelp
Thank you for hosting me and my family to celebrate our mom's bday. We enjoyed our birthday brunch that paired with individual yogurt parfaits and a pastry. Both were delicious. They even ask if anyone has a gluten, dairy or any type of allergy! I made reservations via the website and recd an email from Tracey. She confirmed and provided additional information. It was refreshing to hear back so swiftly! The restaurant is adorable. Looks like it was a home or hotel converted with indoor and outdoor seating. Very unique. I enjoyed my crab omelette. The touch of the salad was nice. They were kind enough to cut my mom's cake (there is a $3.50 per person fee) but that's of the norm like any other restaurant. Huge shoutout to Monica for being so patient and kind with our family. She provided excellent and friendly service. She's an outstanding host! This place is located at Wine and Roses. We had discovered it back in 2014 when we were wedding venue shopping. When we came for my mom's brunch, we noticed a wedding was being set up. We adored it when from afar when leaving. I would absolutely come back here!

Yelp
LOVE LOVE this new gem I discovered over the weekend! Delicious food, fantastic ambiance, great friendly and attentive staff, awesome service and wonderful wine pours! What else can you ask for? Amazing gardens with their Spring Blooms! YUP! I'm almost scared to share my new secret hideout! :0) Spent a couple hours during the day shooting the Spring Bloom Garden Flowers and Wine Tasting on the premises next to the Cafe. Then returned to this restaurant in the evening for a wonderful dinner. Marking down 1 star because I had written in my Open Table reservation that we were celebrating a Birthday. In my haste, I forgot to remind them secretly upon arrival. Bummer. Additionally, although my Pork Chop was very flavorful, it was a little overcooked and dry. I was also surprised that they cut the bone off for the pretty plated presentation. It was a nice surprise. Please order the fresh, warm and delicious bread! So heavenly and delightful ESPECIALLY with that spreadable tasty butter!!! YUM YUM! :0) We had 2 delicious orders of the Asparagus Salad, Pork Belly Appetizer (forgot to get a photo), the delicious, moist and tender Hangar Steak, Duck Salad and my Pork Chop entree. The Pineapple Mousse with Chantilly and ice cream was magical! I definitely will save room for that dessert plate the next visit! :0) Huge portions, tasty food and spectacular endroit for any occasion or just because! Thank You for the delicious food, friendly and attentive staff and great service that's NOT stuffy! We can't wait to return soon! :0)

Yelp
This was my first time at Towne House and I came with my boyfriend's family for a Tuesday dinner! The ambiance was really nice inside, there was live music! We sat at the lounge area to the right of the bar and that was nice. The server was very nice and he did a great job checking in with us throughout the night. We ordered some drinks and apps to share. I got a passion fruit mocktail and it was tart and refreshing. For the apps, we got truffle fries, the honey wheat bread, and the Gnudi. The truffle fries were thick and truffly!! Our table really enjoyed the truffle fries and the delicious honey what bread. The Gnudi app was essentially huge Gnocchi stuffed with cheese. It was cool, I thought it lacked flavor. I got Rocky's Chicken that came with the lemon risotto! I haven't had risotto in so long, and it was so so good. I love how creamy and lemony it was. The chicken itself was super juicy and the glaze went really well with it. My boyfriend got the schnitzel with a cumquat sauce on top. The apple cumquat sauce was so interesting, I loved how unique that was with the schnitzel. It came with a delicious fennel spatzel mixed with green beans, I think that was my fav part of his dish. One of us got the homemade-pasta with a side of chicken, the pasta came in a whole piece that you have to cut up yourself. That was also tasty, the chicken on it was very juicy. The last one got the crispy mujadarra which was a heaping amount of dungeoneaa crab meat onto of a crispy bed of rice with a poached egg on top. I really loved the texture of this crispy rice with the crab! We were all pretty stuffed but had to get dessert to finish off the night. We decided to go with the Chocolate Coulant which was a flourless chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache inside and a side of vanilla ice cream. We all shared it and it was such a sweet end to a good meal. The service was great, the live music was even better, and the food was yummy! The food was a solid 8 but the whole vibe of the place gets a 10!

Yelp
You must try the chicken sandwich and their burger. We came here for lunch and decided to sit on their patio area. The food was amazing. They make everything in house. That brioche bun on both the burger and chicken sandwich was delicious. Super soft and airy. The chicken was perfectly deep fried and the burger was cooked to my husbands likes of medium. Service was amazing. Staff super friendly. Highly recommend coming here for lunch

Yelp
I was excited to try this place first time, early morning last Saturday, I ordered a sandwich, it has egg on it. I noticed the eggs are looking sad, the yolk was almost hard rock, I cut the egg yolk and it crumbles ... looks like it was frozen and was heated. The bun, was so wet with oil, I had two bites to give me a try , I can sorry. Then I have caramel macchiato, it tasted like coffee drizzled with caramel, nothing like macchiato. Maybe I was too early, and the two kids are still sleepy? They could have smiled?! But, I love the ambiance of the place, so I took a lot of photos. So service was bland. Can do better.

David A.

Yelp
Great consistency with an imaginative seasonal menu. Eaten there many times. Excellent wine list with music in the bar

Luisa G.

Yelp
This was pretty decent. We ordered a torta de chorizo, a chicken burrito, and tacos de pastor. My only remark is the meat quality of the pastor and chicken; it was ground meat, which isn't authentic. Overall, an okay place with good service!

Krisitne C.

Yelp
We love this place for a night cap! They have the best espresso martini in town! But I love coffee. Is small but very intimate. A palace To be enjoyed with ones you love or a few friends. Great small bites and a great lost of cocktails and wines! Hosts are very attentive and bartenders very friendly

Adrian S.

Yelp
What a great restaurant! I usually am weary of hotel restaurants, but my concerns were easily put to rest at Wine & Roses. I was able to make same-day dinner reservations on a very busy evening. Host staff were very pleasant and inviting. The ambiance is very elegant and more upscale than I was expecting. Our server was excellent at her craft. The food and wine were stellar! The bill was what I would deem fair for the higher level of service and quality of food we received. Wine & Roses is an easy recommendation. A+

Terry M.

Yelp
Joined a company dinner at this venue, and initially, things seemed promising with a separate room for our group. However, frustration set in when our server, though attentive in general, mishandled an order. My coworker's choice was somehow misinterpreted, and when we pointed it out, she insisted he got what he asked for. Sitting right next to him, I vividly remember his order, and it was far from what was served. The lack of acknowledgment or effort to correct the mistake left me quite disappointed. With a party of at least 12, it's disheartening when such errors go unaddressed. Despite the pleasant ambiance and other positive aspects, this incident significantly impacted the overall experience. It's disconcerting when attention to detail falters in the midst of an otherwise enjoyable evening.

Nick P.

Yelp
We decided to treat ourselves to the recent NYE Dinner a few days ago. Our favorites were the Scallop Salad and the Crispy Black Cod. The Peking Style Duck was very rare and fatty and honestly not very good. The Coulotte Steak was unfortunately another disappointment. It was served very rare to the point we had to send it back for more heat. Steak came back almost the same as the first time and was not tender at all. We brought our own bottle of wine and with a 20% mandatory tip the bill came to $389. We expected more for our money. Service was very good and ambiance the best! Stayed at the Hotel and as always it was fantastic.

Rhett R.

Yelp
Had brunch for a friends birthday on 4/29/23. I had never been here but heard great things. The property itself is very pretty as it serves as a wedding venue. The restaurant was upscale in decor, but comfortable. For the table during brunch service, you get parfaits and pastries. Your coffee, tea, or juice is included. Our tabled ordered the steak and eggs, chicken and waffle, and eggs Benedict. All the food was delicious and crispy skin of my chicken was amazing! We were seated inside which was a bummer because it was a beautiful day, but when we asked to sit outside we were told all tables were reserved. However, the entire time we were eating not one table was occupied outside. The staff was friendly and service was well done.

Magda G.

Yelp
We decided to make reservations for Sunday Bruch before our spa date. The restaurant gives you a nice and cozy feeling with beautiful trees surrounding it. They had a musician outside playing music for those seated outside. It was a bit hot out so we decided indoors. We all ordered the brunch which includes coffee, juice and tea for drinks, a parfait and pasty, and a main dish. I ordered the steak and eggs and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The potatoes were amazing too. The reason for four stars is that I had to request my coffee a few times because I think they forgot about it. They were supposed to come back to refill but they never came with it. The bar drinks took a while to get as well. Other than that, I'd go for the food again.

Nadia I.

Yelp
This lovely gem is tucked away in the garden area of the Wine and Roses Hotel. They do have indoor as well as outdoor seating (with heaters, if needed). Parking is very easy since they have their own parking lot. We were seated outside promptly upon arrival (without reservations) on a Sunday evening. Everyone, from the hostess to the servers were kind, helpful and friendly. The server provided good recommendations and helpful info about menu items. We had their special/seasonal appetizer which included local, roasted figs with goat cheese and balsamic. It came with pork which we don't eat so we had it without - this may have removed a major flavor component because the figs and goat cheese alone were a little bland/missing something. We also had the gnocchi appetizer which was a tiny portion but tasty nonetheless. We shared an entree, the Orecchiette which was in a nice fermented tomato sauce (it was similar to the flavor of vodka sauce), mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and olives. This vegetarian pasta dish was very flavorful and a perfect portion size to share. Pro tip - the warm bread and butter is quite nice when dipped in the pasta sauce! For dessert, we had the blackberry mousse chocolate cake which was very rich and yummy. I loved the chocolate mousse portion along with the blackberry preserves. My partner preferred the cake portion and the chocolate crumbles that came on the side. Drinks were also great; particularly the very refreshing cucumber watermelon vodka cocktail on their menu and my favorite, the 10 year Madeira I had with dessert which tasted like honey and paired nicely with the chocolate mousse. Overall, fantastic experience. This will definitely be our "go to" spot when we are in the Lodi area!

Roland A.

Yelp
This is arguably one of the best restaurants in Lodi. Love the staff, ambience & the food is delicious

G. Ron D.

Yelp
My wife and I enjoyed a celebration dinner last evening. Both the food and service were excellent. We started with the Honey Wheat Bread w/ quince butter, served warm, I had the Painted Hill Bavette and she the Day Boat Scallops with Lemon Risotto. Both were artfully prepared. The Bavette arrived at the requested medium-rare w/ a mushroom & potato gratin, broccoli rabe, cipollini onions, black garlic glaze - absolutely delicious. The Day Boat Scallops were perfectly cooked, as was the risotto. Our server, Sarah, was cheerful, friendly, and attentive. My wife finished the meal with a chocolate lover's dream - the Tcho Chocolate Ganache Cake; I devoured the Meyer Lemon Tart. A great evening at the Towne House Restaurant at Wine & Roses. Always a pleasure.

Leah B.

Yelp
I always enjoy coming here. I have been for lunch and dinner on multiple occasions. The food is delectable. I haven't had a dish that wasn't above par. The experience and service has been great, as well. I absolutely love the old building with all its character and charm. There are so many hidden facets and seating areas, I notice something new each time I come!

Nicolette S.

Yelp
I'm not one to leave reviews but this place warrants one. First of all, the hotel property was beautiful. I stayed for 1 night to celebrate my birthday with my sister and my dog and I scheduled a reservation at 6:30 and got an outdoor seating. The food was unexpectedly delicious and our server, Tanya was an absolute darling. Everything we got tasted amazing and I usually don't like desserts but their chocolate cake w/ berries was phenomenal. I was even thinking of ordering another one haha! We will definitely be back!

Eric M.

Yelp
I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, so we thought we'd give it a shot this past weekend. We went for a late dinner around 7pm, had a bit of a challenge finding the restaurant because it was dark but we just needed to drive to the end of the parking lot. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our host then seated quickly. The ambiance is so nice and it feels like you are having dinner right at home next to the fire place! The menu is a bit short and simple, which I liked lol. I went with the pasta and the waitress was kind enough to recommend adding chicken to it. When the food came out the chicken alone stood out so much, it was juicy, cut and placed perfectly on top of the pasta. Prices were a bit expensive, but that should be expected when eating at a "fancy" restaurant lol

Jen-Jen B.

Yelp
Definitely love the atmosphere here. Romantic and quaint including the hotel rooms at wine & roses. The servers here are very personable and attentive. They checked up on us often which is rare at other places. The food and drinks were really good. I'd definitely would come back to try other dishes..maybe try and make a spa day of it.. It's just the drive that wasn't my favorite. Other than that, I'd recommend the place.

Laura C.

Yelp
The service was great but unfortunately the food was not. We had reservations for brunch and I was so disappointed in my meal. First I ordered a Thai crab omelette and it the omelette was very dry, overcooked. So I replaced that with their salmon eggs Benedict. My boyfriend's was perfect but my eggs were undercooked so the white part of the egg was runny. Not sure I would return again. So disappointed as we were really looking forward to this brunch.

Lynne D.

Yelp
This restaurant has one of the most attractive outdoor eating areas I've ever been to. Large, beautiful wood tables placed so that there's plenty of room between you and the next customer. During covid, the restaurant was open to diners for outside seating only. It was a life saver! The food is prepared by an experienced chef, with a long list of accolades! I've been there about a dozen times since mid 2020, and hv never had a bad meal. The service is spot on, and employees are very accommodating and personable!

Joretta B.

Yelp
Great place for a meat up. Outdoor seating which is great in nice weather. Fresh ingredients and some great gift items both edible and not

Regina C.

Yelp
I've visited their restaurant many times for brunch, late lunch, or dinner, but this is by far their best menu yet. I'm a big fan of their charcuterie selection, especially with the pickled vegetables that I just can't get enough of. Their California cheeses, sweetcorn soup, and sweetcorn creme brulee are also favorites of mine. I really hope they keep these items on the menu for a while. I'll definitely be returning for these dishes specifically. I've tried their pork chop twice now, and it's always a satisfying choice. The service is good, and the ambiance has a relaxed and intimate feel.

Lola M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing experience and first date with someone special. Ambiance is romantic. Loved the pianist. Service was good and our waitress was attentive. Drinks and food were excellent. We took a walk around the property and watched a wedding party take some photos. Highly recommend!

Mike R.

Yelp
Beautiful setting. Our Tanya was friendly warm and attentive. I had the Bavette streak and it was good. Girlfriend had lamb chops were good. The risotto and the baked bread appetizers were really good! Solid wine menu with wide selection of choices.

Ryan C.

Yelp
Amazing service from Daisy... NY strip cooked Medium rare with a beautiful charred crust just as I requested. The potatoes were very simple yet beautifully cooked and seasoned. Asparagus has a nice char too. We also got the house made pasta which was a pesto with veggies and added chicken. Very good chicken and nice bout of fresh asparagus to add to the already vibrant green pesto. For dessert we had the chocolate ganache with white coffee ice cream and holy crap. Whatever that crunchy cookie like topping on the ice cream is in combination with the soft cake and ice cream is a must get and I can't wait to go back..

Dabbie S.

Yelp
Celebrated the BFF's golden birthday at Towne House. We were delighted by the food and loved the secluded feel of the outdoor seating area. It was very peaceful even with an outdoor wedding ceremony taking place in the courtyard nearby. Our server, Tanya, was a gem. She was very pleasant and wonderful to talk to. The parisian gnocchi had a pillowy texture and was complemented with goat cheese. Their calamari was cooked to perfection and seasoned with what they called onion ash. And their chocolate hazelnut tart is a dark chocolate lover's dream.

Suze W.

Yelp
Yes, for brunch & the lounge with drinks and small apps. Not a fan of the restaurant; although the ambiance is wonderful, the food isn't.

Sarah T.

Yelp
This is a lovely restaurant. Charming and romantic atmosphere and at night there was a beautiful piano playing. We sat outside and enjoyed perfect Bulleit Rye Manhattans from the bar followed by a delicious dinner. We ordered the halibut and steak- both were fantastic. The stone fruit salad in particular was outstanding. Friendly and attentive service. We were the last ones to leave - we loved it so much!

Tracy C.

Yelp
Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Great food great service great atmosphere.

Muoi H.

Yelp
My first visit and won't be my last !!Darling restaurant with a good damn juicy prime burger with your choice of fries or salad Our server was attentive and friendly ! The restaurant itself was beautiful with seating inside or outside ! Their mock tail was just okay next time will actually get a cocktail to try

Julie P.

Yelp
Wonderful food peaceful atmosphere. Bring your wallet but it was worth it! Knowledgeable wait staff.

Ellen J.

Yelp
We went for lunch and sat on the terrace, which is well shaded and took advantage of the lovely breeze. My husband had the Hanger Steak sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful and was served on ciabatta bread. I had the the Prime Hamburger and it was delicious. Both meals came with thick fries that were lightly salted and yummy. We had a small side of house salad, that they comped because I was supposed to get it instead of fries. They also didn't charge us for the ice tea because my husband didn't like the flowery taste. We both had the lemonaid. It was a bit bland until I squeezed a lemon slice into it, perfect. We didn't have time for desert, but, will definitely try it next time. They have a chocolate cake with coffee/vanilla ice cream, strawberry short cake and several flavors of house made ice creams and sorbets. The staff was friendly and professional making for a great dinning experience. Leave some time for a walk through the beautiful gardens on the hotel ground.

Jr P.

Yelp
The food was cooked perfectly. Amazing brunch. I can't say enough how well this was prepared. Steak was uniquely crispy on the outside and perfect medium rare in the middle. Eggs were amazing. Waffle and chicken were great. The cook/chef was world class. Staff was nice too! We will be back

Brittany C.

Yelp
This is my second time here, but it's been a few years so it felt like the first time and let me tell you .... I won't go this long w/o coming back again. The food was amazing and so fresh ! The entire experience was Very relaxing, beautiful outdoor surroundings with greenery everywhere, live performance while you're eating (might be weekends only or select weekends) ... if I lived here I'd come weekly okay Bi-Weekly Nice place for a date night/day or a girls day out Don't think twice just come and enjoy!

Caitlin A.

Yelp
expect to pay a good amount for a smaller portion. i highly recommend their blueberry hibiscus tea! so yummy! the outdoor ambiance is great and the staff has been super kind as well

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Went here on a Friday morning, as we were in town for a wedding. We were hoping for the brunch menu, but found out that brunch is only on the weekends. Slightly disappointed, we still decided to stay because the atmosphere was absolutely lovely and the lunch food looked great. And I'm happy we did stay--it was the perfect little meal. The bread and blueberry butter was easily my favorite thing--it came out warm and had a butter that was just sweet enough to complement the hearty bread. The pasta was delightful--it tasted incredibly fresh thanks to all the locally grown produce. And the chocolate cake was incredibly rich, but satisfying. The white coffee ice cream was mind blowing and I still think about how coffee forward, yet delicious it is today. Service was absolutely lovely, with our waitress being upbeat and attentive. If I'm in Lodi again, I will absolutely be back to try that brunch.

Yelp
Amazing - went on a Sunday and as a resident of Lodi it was the perfect escape! Food was amazing, the service was incredible and the setting was like a mini vacation.

Yelp
I used to like coming here, but these days the Towne House Restaurant is one of the most overrated restaurants I've ever experienced. We went for the special Christmas dinner, and were told they would have to put a $200 penalty on my card if we were more than 10 minutes late, as they were sold out. What a crock...! When we got there, we found many empty tables while they were busy. By the time we finished dinner, it was nearly empty. The food was wildly overpriced for what you got. My girlfriend ordered the lobster, which was about the size of a large prawn. My two small lamp chops were around $50, but tiny. The only one at the table who did not receive meager portions was my son, who was given a giant pork bone. The mediocrity of the meal was only matched by the high cost of the bill, which was the only truly extraordinary element of the entire meal. I don't mind paying for exceptional meals - our last excursion to Green's restaurant in San Francisco for New Years was one of the most expensive and exquisite meals I've ever had. Yet, our dinner at the Towne House was just an extremely expensive disappointment. Go to Pietros Trattoria in Lodi or Bud's Seafood restaurant in Stockton instead, where the quality of the meal and the service are commensurate with the price.

Yelp
Jesika, our server, was the sweetest ever!!! the food was absolutely decadent and we enjoyed sitting on the gorgeous patio. It was a hot day, but we were well covered with umbrellas! I had the prime beef burger and it practically melted in my mouth. great place, very nice staff!

Yelp
A friend and I stopped here to eat between wine tastings at some local wineries, and I would highly recommend checking this place out. The ambiance was one of the reasons I wanted to eat here and I was not disappointed. The outdoor scenery/seating areas was beautiful.... lots of flowers and greenery. They had live music which was nice! This time it was a solo guitarist who was playing/singing covers and it wasn't too loud so you could still hold conversation. The service was excellent! We were very well attended to. Everyone was super polite and friendly. The food was also amazing! Everything was plated beautifully. We were there for the brunch menu. (Check online for hours and menus because they change). I got the shrimp salad and my friend got the cheeseburger. We both really enjoyed our meals. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely go back!

Yelp
Excellent ambiance and so warm and cozy on a wet and windy night. The service was exceptional and the food was very high quality. We shared the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the duck and my friend had the lamb and both were very high quality and cooked To perfection. The prices are not cheap but quality comes at a price. Definitely recommended if you want high quality food and a delightful experience in Lodi. And a very nice wine and beer list Loaded with local stuff.

Yelp
Lovely setting, great menus, and top-notch service! Is always such a treat to pop in for appetizers in the lounge or a meal on their patio! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Stopped by here on a Sunday with the kids and hubby and it was great because it was quick and such nice cafe feels. It's right next to the Lodi wine visitor center which is a tasting room. It's actually connected to the tasting room. So a great thing to check out if you have the time! We got the avocado toast (it was okay), the breakfast burrito (pretty good), the lavender latte (barely tasted the lavender), the banana roll (very light), and the breakfast sandwich (great). The staff are great and very informative when we had questions. They have outside seating and indoor as well. They also have some reusable items for sale that are eco friendly and kitchen utensils on display as well.
