How Calling Foods ‘Guilt-Free’ Reinforces Diet Culture | Eater

"A national grocery chain noted in the text for selling a tub of 'reduced-guilt' spinach and kale Greek yogurt dip, serving as an example of how retailers have long marketed everyday foods with guilt-tinged language. The product highlights the piece’s argument that phrases like 'guilt-free' are a recurring marketing tactic used to position snacks as morally acceptable choices, reinforcing diet-culture messaging rather than simply providing transparent nutrition information." - Amy McCarthy

Google
This is one of the worst Trader Joe’s I have experienced. The employees are ruder than the customers that shop here. In the last year of shopping here they have progressively gotten worse. Prices are about the same as Publix on a majority of staple items (milk, eggs, butter….) and some items are cheaper (flowers, some produce, snacks…) This particular location isn’t worth the hassle.

Google
I always love to visit Trader Joe's when I'm on holiday in the US. Great selection of products at reasonable prices. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

Google
I like Trader Joe’s and this is the only one in Gainesville. I buy my pasta from here and sometime the frozen orange chicken - altho it is better to buy this at Panda Express. Sundays are extremely busy and I would not come at this time. I came by accident and you can see for yourself- absolute madhouse. Way too busy. Nice staff and people tho. They have free samples. And food quality is usually good but too expensive for me. Do not park near front door and avoid the drive way as it is heavily congested and you get stuck. Sundays are extremely busy. Park far away from entrance

I went to Trader Joe’s today and one of their check out girls actually told me she couldn’t Double bag my Groceries because it was a new Corporate rule. I then told her to Double Bag my Groceries anyway . She refused and walked away refusing to serve me. So she rang her bell and they sent another girl who I suppose was her Supervisor she said the same thing. But she did double bag my Groceries. I suspect these people are racist because I had my African dashiki shirt on. There are some products I like in the store, but overall in a store that sells meat I’m not particularly pleased with it . I will make a concerted effort to not shop in this store anymore . The hundreds of dollars I spend per month in the store Will stop . If these corporate people and the supervisors of these stores can’t train their employees About the basic rule that the customer is always right . And center Their Customer service policies around this principle then I will definitely make a concerted effort to avoid this store . They need to get these automatic check out machine machines like other stores . I really hope they go out of business. They also do not check their produce. My wife and I got sick eating their produce. I’ve called several times to complain. I will call the Alachua County inspector to come in to make sure that they keep their produce fresh and rotate it.

Google
Really had a pleasant time visiting this place in Gainesville. Our first time in the area and was surprised what this place has in store for us. Always love going to this store and still hope to get one for our area!

Google
Another great Trader Joe's. Found all my favorites easily, stocked up on a few, and bought some treats for all the great people at Lake Center for Rehab. Please, please, please Trader Joe's come to The Villages - you've got huge fans here with money to spend!

Google
Under construction but still awesome. My cashier Corey was super friendly and great to chat with. The selection is slightly smaller than usual due to construction, but there is still plenty of variety. I was so pleasantly surprised to see a Trader Joe’s on the corner that as usual I bought a few more items than I had originally anticipated..

Google
I forsee these locations becoming increasingly popular with the Concentration RFK Jr is putting out about the products we purchase with chemicals and dyes in them. Beautiful store, great selections, pleasant service. Excellent experience!

Yelp
Typical trader Joe , excellent service and food . I bought some goodies to bring to Gainsville but forgot my friend is diabetic and so we returned what was no good and purchased everything her and her family could eat . Parking is ample space.

Yelp
I love Trader Joes and I'm so happy my son does too. When setting up his apartment in Gainesville, I wanted to stock the kitchen to we took a ride over to TJ's. Located on Archer Rd in Butler Plaza, there's plenty of parking even during peak times like move-in week or football season. It was packed the day I was there, but the employees were hustling to fill the shelves. The staff was amazing and willing to go out of their way to help. The best vegetable and salad section, whether you like organic or regular, it's always fresh and half the price of Publix. Fruit is the same. I do find the berries pricier but where else can you find bananas for 23 cents a piece or a bag of brussels sprouts for $3 and the choice of spices are amazing. It eases my mind knowing that my son can shop and eat healthy without breaking the bank. Don't forget to grab a bag of those 99 cent dark chocolate peanut butter cups that are conveniently placed at the checkout...you just can't leave without one!!!

Yelp
Solid Trader Joe's location. Store is always well stocked even, during move in weekends. Staff is always around if you need something. Lines usually move pretty quick and parking is usually available.

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's. Unfortunately there is none near where I live. Whenever I go to an area that I think there is a Trader Joe's, I Google them and this time there was one about five minutes from where I was. I hope someone from their corporate office sees this and opens a store in The Villages,Florida

Yelp
Sam went above and beyond to help my dad find some cookies that were made with brown sugar. He was very happy to help and was excited to show my dad the right products. The store is very clean and well stocked, we came back several times during our trip.

Yelp
This is the second time I've got food from here that has been within the sell by date and it's rotten. I ride my bike to get here, it's not feasible to make a trip back for replacement. Very disappointed, the trader Joe in my old neighborhood was always stocked with fresh goods. Groceries are way too expensive nowadays to get home and they're not edible.... never mind the time wasted
google avatar

Britney M.

Yelp
I like Trader Joe's because they offer a lot of original products that are not offered by other stores. I love their chocolate covered peanut butter cups especially. They have pretty good prices, probably a bit cheaper than Publix. The store isn't huge so it is easy to find everything you need, but this also means that it is pretty crowded there on some days. Customer service here is also great; there are always many workers available that are more than willing to help and provide customers with a good experience. I also really like their spicy mango lemonade and potato pancakes
google avatar

Yelp
Trader Joe's never disappoints me. Even when my seasonal favorites are gone, and I know that I will have to wait another year for the spiced apple cider, or dried hibiscus flowers. If you have some time and don't mind really looking closely at the shelves you will find so many tasty treasures. Chocolate dipped biscotti Tempura shrimp Spinach pies Lemon curd Sunflower seed butter Herb tahini dip Quinoa stuffed grape leaves There's so much good stuff here!!! Try what looks good- the prices are always excellent and so many of their items you won't find anywhere else.

Yelp
The staff wore masks and only 50 customers were allowed in at a time (a good thing) Trader Joe's is always appealing to us...we drive up from Ocala to shop there. Our HUGE disappointment was...they no longer carry pumpernickel pretzel rods! OMG! The horrors of it all! They had some other pretzel rods that we bought and will try BUT...we are down to our last 1/2 bag of the brand we love with no hope in sight of finding them elsewhere. Dang! We are always wishing and hoping for a Trader Joe's in Ocala. SR 200 would be a super location...build a store here and...please bring some pumpernickel pretzel rods.

Yelp
The last few times I have been to this Trader Joe's location (the only location in Gainesville) they have not had the items I specifically went in to buy. Yesterday I had a list of four items to buy but only walked out with one, as the others were out of stock, empty on the shelves, or otherwise nowhere to be found. I was told things "MIGHT be seasonal" which doesn't really give me any sense of when to actually expect them to return.
google avatar

Lee L.

Yelp
Even as prices are sore, Trader Joe's still has fairly good deals. Love so many of their products that you can't get anywhere else. The only problem with Trader Joe's is their limited locations and they're always too crowded.
google avatar

Rachel E.

Yelp
My favorite place!!! I wish they did online sales. So many fun and great options!

Yelp
Trader Joe's has some unique and good foods. I don't go often but I love to stock up when I get to visit.
google avatar

Yelp
I went in to buy one item for $2.99. As normal I walked out with way too much. This is the success of Trader Joe's. shopping here. Living in Ocala for the winter we have to travel 50 minutes north to Gainsville or 75 - 90 minutes to Winter park. Always a hike, always try to time it when we are in the area. In Maine we travel 12 miles & we are in TH's in Portland. Again

Yelp
Adore traders Joe's and very happy to find it on Gainesville This magic place is always full of surprises Staff is smiling and helpful. Tip: Go for the seasonal finding and enjoy the selection. You won't go wrong Is my favorite thing to do while at Trader Joe's Great quality consistently.

Yelp
I love trader Joe's. I always appreciate the vast choices of international based food and always end up trying new products here, especially if Indian or Asian based. Nice clean store with friendly staff

Yelp
DO NOT BUY THE TRADER JOE'S BRAZILIAN CHEESE BREAD I from Brazil and this product it's an insult to the Minas Gerais state, the culture, and the Brazilians. The receipt it's not even close to the famous and delicious Brazilian cheese bread (pão de queijo). I'm afraid that I am loosing the trust on Trader Joe's products.
google avatar

Yelp
I know this is so cliché... but who DOES NOT love TJ's? It's just so hard not to! They have some of my favorite products ever: curry chicken salad, pretzel buns, croissants, plantain chips, just to name a few and not to mention a fantastic cheese selection. And everyone knows of the outstanding customer service. AND for those of you NOT in the KNOW... they have ONE DOLLAR greeting cards. YES! The cards are only a dollar and they are so cute. But beware, the one you might love will not necessarily ever return. I always buy multiples and keep one. Maybe I'm hoping to go back and be like, "Hey, it there anyway to bring back this card?" LOL! I also love that I can buy succulents here. Whenever I am making gift baskets I am always sure to add things from here; be it sauces, pastas, olives, oils, soaps, herbs and spices, you name it. I think of the person then find things accordingly. Yeah, maybe for me it's an atmosphere thing, but you can't beat that shopping experience.

Yelp
I've hardly ever had a positive experience when I visit this location. My personality is socially pleasant, and I'm conscious of social distancing guidelines and wearing my mask but despite that, my experiences there have been rather cold. I don't know where many items are located and if ever I've asked for help the floor employees behave as if I'm inconveniencing them. My experiences with cashiers have been quick but not friendly. I normally greet them first with a hello; but no one has really asked if I found what I need or anything. Another time I asked two employees who were chatting with each other if there was a manager who could help me and the both of them pointed me to a middle aged man who was handling a box. As soon as I approached him and said hello, he cut me off and pointed me to customer service where I waited in line and spoke with a non manager. It's so awful, and everyone swears that the employees are so kind and helpful. I stopped going there and switched to Whole Foods where the environment is so much more positive and welcoming!

Yelp
I told a cashier it was my birthday week (he asked why I was buying flowers) and he gave me dark chocolate peanut butter cups as I he handed my my receipt. These workers are all going to heaven and everyone deserves to experience the love and joy they bring to the world. I hope their pillows are cold on both sides every night for the rest of their lives.

Yelp
Trader Joe's is 100% my favorite grocery store. As compared with Tampa and Boca Raton stores, the Gainesville store is AMAZING. They have speciality products very fast after their released, and I've only not been able to find something 1 time (and this was during COVID-19). The staff here are so friendly and always make a conversation with you. The prices and selection are great, and I find the fresh produce lasts a good amount of time.
google avatar

Yelp
Best store in Gainesville hands down! Having moved from L.A., I missed me some Trader Joe's products. I missed the atmosphere, the unique products, the ready-made meals, the free samples, the Veggie Chips, and all of their wonderful seasonal and limited edition products that they acquire and name after themselves. Now that we have one in Jacksonville, I don't have to drive all the way over to this TJ's anymore; however, this location has a great vibe being in a University town. While I'm ever in G'ville, I make sure that this is one of the places I visit just to see what I can pick up. Gainesville peeps, you really have it good having your very own Trader Joe's!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I now understand why Trader Joe's has a legion of dedicated shoppers. Their food quality and prices are great. I wouldn't do all of my shopping there, but if I need some good cheese and frozen desserts I will stop here. Their produce is of high quality as well. Their return policy is the best! They will take back anything with the Trader Joe's label. It doesn't matter how old.
google avatar

Pamela J.

Yelp
Yeah, this location was 5 stars for me. It was large, there was lots of space to walk around, they were sampling the delectable speculoos cookie dough cheesecake, they were sampling 3 different bottles of wine and they had products I have not seen before up north in the tri-state area. One product that really stood out was a trio of Middle Eastern spices you typically have to go to a specialty store to purchase. Learned they are opening a distribution center in the Daytona area which will bring more store openings across the state of Florida. Thank God. Trader Joe's is sorely needed in the Ocala / Villages area. Please come...pretty please.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
If you're not "ready" for TJs you'll find yourself confused when you first get there. Once you get the layout and the chill atmosphere you'll be happy to frequent. Much cheaper than Publix and much less stress than Walmart

Yelp
I recently went to the Trader Joe's on Archer Rd and had a nice time. I am not the biggest fan of Trader Joe's as they were at one time associated with Aldi and you do not want to get me started with my hate for Aldi grocery stores... I found this Trader Joe's to be not as big as some of the others ones that I have been to. With that being said it served the purpose of the reason I went in. I went in to get a few items that I knew they would have and I would get a good price on. If you liked packaged food then this is a great place for you as you can stock up your freezer with lots of good products. They also have a nice selection of produce, meats, cheeses, milks and other products as well. I have been told they have a good wine selection and I did see the beer they have but I did not buy them. I do like that they always have a ton of lines open to checkout. I think this is really nice! I can see why people love this store. Not sure when I'll go back again, but I know what to expect of this location!

EC B.

Yelp
Great choice of items reasonably priced. Always easy to find a staff person willing to help. Love this store.
google avatar

Sai J.

Yelp
No matter where I've lived. I really miss this TJ. The staff here is the friendliest ever. By far my fav Trader Joe's.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite grocery store, and the Gainesville location is the best. I have never met such friendly workers and they really try to help you with whatever you need. I love that they have seasonal items and items that you cannot find anywhere else. I could write paragraphs with how great this store is, but to keep it simple I will just say that it is a solid 5 stars.
google avatar

Hanaa U.

Yelp
Trader Joe's never seems to disappoint. Although it's a bit of a bummer that there is so much traffic in the plaza, it's worth it if you make a trip early in the morning. Also this means less traffic in the store which makes it a more enjoyable experience. TJ's always offers a small sample of their featured coffee blend in the back of the store, providing customers with a little boost while shopping. I don't come out to Trader Joe's for my everyday shopping, but there are a few staples that I always stock up on. Five things that are always on my shopping list: Brioche (perfect to make french toast with), frozen hash browns, frozen chicken tikka meals, cane sugar, and of course mint chip ice cream. The prices are decent, the organic options are plenty, and the customer service is always spot on.

Yelp
If you don't feel like spending a small fortune shopping at Publix, and like ethnic food, then Trader Joe's is a great option. Well, a good option for those people living on or near Archer Road. For students living at or near the university, it can be quite a trek to get out to this location. There is definitely a lack of decent grocery store options in downtown Gainesville, but now Trader Joe's has competition that is actually located downtown. One of my major flaws as an adult woman is that I am not a Wino, nor do I even like the taste of wine. One of my TJ observations is that most of the customers at this and all locations are only interested in buying beer and wine. The store has also caught onto this, and that is why about 1/3 of the floor merchandise is dedicated to alcohol. My main interest in not Cookie Butter either, since it is much more enjoyable to make that at home. I come to TJ's for frozen meals, pre-packaged bagged lettuce and produce, and some pre-made meals. I find their produce department to be slightly expensive and only decent quality. Aldi, their parent company's store, is a much better option. However, in Gainesville, Aldi stores do not yet exist. This is the first Trader Joe's location that does not have a messed up parking lot nightmare. Since this store was built in a pre-existing strip mall with ample parking, I can get in and out of the store with great success. If only their other locations were this nice.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Trader Joe's is my first grocery store stop out of the plethora of grocery stores in Gainesville. Sorry Ocala you are missing out. Why do I stop here first because of the prices you get on quality items to include organic. Hands down you get more for your buck. That being said customer service is good and store is clean and the trademark diagonal isles are well stocked. I could not , however give them a perfect score because I have encountered out of date and some spoiled produce on occasion. I always stop here still before Publix or Wards because prices talk and you know the rest.
google avatar

Yelp
What a wonderful grocer. Small, but wonderful. Inexpensive Trader Joes brand is pretty much what you'll find here. Dover Sole at $7.99 a lb!! Sure, it's frozen....but so what? Where else around here can you get Dover Sole? All the bunches of flowers are only $3.99! I purchased the lemon pepper paperadelle and it was fantastic, as well as the fig butter. There is a limited selection of produce, but if you can handle that, you'll be fine. The convenience of this location is fantastic. Easy in...easy out. And a good variety of businesses all around. Three cheers for Trader Joes!

K N.

Yelp
Trader Joe's has some of the best tasting foods especially the pink pasta absolutely delicious. I always get the Alfredo pasta, sweet potato gnocchi, fresh eggs and fresh butter. I could go on and on about everything thing I but, it would take to cus I have very long list! I go there at least 2 to 3 times a month so I can get some of that delicious food! So I definitely recommend Trader Joe's in Gainesville Florida!
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
What's not to love about Trader Joe's?? Its not a store, its an experience. It begins with the monkeys dressed in Aloha shirts hanging from the huge tree out front. Kinda creepy. Love all their stuff, best junk food anywhere from chocolate covered potato chips to mango ice cream bars. Lots of gluten free to make me happy.... breads, cake, pancakes, cookies, etc. Lots of vegan stuff too! YES! AND all in a cool environment, I don't know why but it makes me feel like a hippie all over again. Just wished they had better produce than the store in Naples. Thats ok, love them anyway, the staff makes you feel so at home, you don't mind.
google avatar

Yelp
Found what I was looking for and the cashiers were extremely fast and welcoming! Great service

Yelp
I'm happy for Gainesville. Haha! This is a fairly big location with most of the standard TJ goodies available. I stopped here to pick up some picnic snacks for a kayaking adventure- I find it interesting sometimes to visit the grocery store when out of town just to see if there are local fun things to try that are different from our stores back home. We ordered a fair amount of stuff from the cold prepared foods section, but it wasn't that great. I got the tarragon chicken wrap, which was totally bland. I'm so glad I bought a jar of cornichons to accompany it. v(^_^)v The tabouleh salad was sad. Complete lack of flavor. The chick pea salad... this was okay, but could have been significantly better. Everyone was super nice as usual, and the sample lady gave us forks and spoons for our outing, which was very kind of her, especially since the samples she was offering didn't require spoons or forks, so she helped us out with some from her backup stash. A pleasant grocery shopping experience as usual!

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's so much! The prices are really great for the quality you are getting. I love the creativity and wit that go into their products and how their staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Walking into Trader Joe's is always a fun experience and you really can't beat their prices on produce! There are always free coffee and food samples at any time at Trader Joe's. It's a great way to try all of their unique foods. They have an INCREDIBLE selection of snacks, frozen food, chips, yogurts, cheeses, flours, etc. You name it, and they have it! I am not a huge fan of eating frozen food, but everything they have is good if you are looking for a quick meal. Their frozen garlic naan ($2.29 for 4 pieces) is my favorite! They also have the best prices on Tahini, scallions, mushrooms, and more. The list goes on and on. If you are looking for a cheap, quality wine to make sangria out of or just to sip, their 3 buck chuck is perfect! Their wine selection is also immense for the amount of space they have and their staff is always there and ready to help. During the weekend, they have wine tastings which help make the process of choosing a lot easier. Their wine prices are also some of the cheapest in town (when compared to Lucky's, Publix, and ABC). The only con is their meat and seafood department, which is pretty subpar. I really only buy their drumsticks and ground turkey because everything else is ridiculously priced (well for a college budget). Their seafood department consists of frozen seafood, and they do not offer the meat cutting services that Publix or Lucky's has. They also lack a deli with hot food, but they have a huge prepackaged salad section, which is just ok. I haven't really found a TJ salad I loved. Do not try their sushi because it is a mouthful of rice. Overall, Trader Joe's is a Gainesville staple for me. I go their for their produce, greek yogurt, grocery products, and wine. It is a great one stop shop with great prices. 8/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Trader Joe's GNV is small but it's full of good items. It's very clean and the prices are reasonable. I bought a watermelon the other day and it spoiled before I got the chance to cut into it and I was so disappointed, but my money was refunded no questions asked. I like the TJ's newsletters; the circular gives a complete write up about new products in the store or coming soon to the store. I enjoy reading the reviews and learning about the new items and samples are shared daily.

Yelp
It's a grown-up's play place. Trader Joe's store layout, graphics, and packaging all make grocery shopping an experience, not just a chore. It even makes eating at home fun, which is a big plus for students who want to save on food. It's been three months since my wife and I moved to Gainesville, and Trader Joe's remains as our favorite place for groceries. They still bring in some of the most attractive products at very affordable costs. Yes, Fresh Market is great. We love Fresh Market. But TJ's is much closer to us and a bit more affordable. Sure, I can be a bit biased towards TJ's aesthetics, but TJ's products (even their chocolate bars) always manage to leave me nostalgic for more. FM does have a wider selection of organic produce, but, again, their prices can be a bit high for a postgraduate family of three. I do miss the Hawaiian shirts they wear at TJ's in California. Wonder why they don't have them here. Current favorite TJ's purchases: frozen chicken masala and garlic naan. A tasty, economic alternative to going to an actual Indian restaurant.
google avatar

Moriah M.

Yelp
Really friendly grocery store. It's short sweet and simple to get in and out. I always get my organic produce from here and it tastes so good!
google avatar

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place except that I wish we had one closer to home. We drive an hour to shop here but we walk out with 5 huge bags and have only spent around $100. Nice, clean and everyone is so helpful. Nice healthy options, great coffee samples. See ya again soon!

Yelp
Pros: Great deals on some items, welcoming staff Cons: Small, no weekly deals Bottom Line: While Trader Joe's won't replace your grocery store of choice it's a welcome supplement Trader Joe's has long time been a favorite grocery store of mine. The welcoming atmosphere, the guarantee of quality items, and the eclectic assortment of things to try, I am absolutely enamored with this place. Since Trader Joe's is located in butler plaza, I always stop here when I do my grocery shopping. It's not as cheap as Target but definitely a better point price then typical Publix items. Some essentials for me are guacamole, and their 19 cent bananas! Then there's the vibrant assortment of cheeses that dwarfs every other store. Trader Joe's brand seems premium without the premium price. Their toiletries like their tea tree soap and shampoo have become must haves in my bathroom. Almost every time I come here I find something new that I want to try. It's small however so don't count on finding everything you need here. Something that people might not be used to is that Trader Joe's flyer isn't really a deal flyer; the prices don't change from week to week. The flyer just highlights some of their items, but you'll never find bogo here like at Publix; they are proud of the integrity of their prices, which I'm fine with. Finally their service is out of this world! The staff is so kind and ready to help you and it even beats Publix service. You can tell they are a tight community. Honestly this place totally has the island vacation feel, so Trader Joe's is honestly where shopping is an experience.

Yelp
Great selection, friendly staff, clean store. What else you can ask for? The price is reasonable for food and wine
google avatar

Java A.

Yelp
No, a lot/most things here are not healthy for you or organic.. and are really no different from some Walmart products.. but, it is cheaper than Walmart in many cases. And the customer service is much, much friendlier and more helpful than most places. Overall, I'm neutral about TJ's. Cheap stuff but Walmart quality. They do have a lot of unique foods you can eat if you're vegetarian like myself.

Laura Terese H.

Yelp
I had heard the hype about Trader Joe's for awhile. The decent cheap wine, the Trader Joe's Brand goodies, the overall uniqueness. It didn't disappoint. Went in here on a Sunday evening, it was still quite packed with people but not wall to wall. I had looked up items online before going in and wanted to get those certain items. They didn't have them yet, it might have been because they are brand new. (the smoked salmon caper dip, and the Brie with Truffles) The place feels like you are in a different world, like Trader Joe himself now dictates the universe and you only have his items to choose from, we kinda liked the weirdness of it. It was very much like the Dharma Initiative (for you LOST fans out there)They have amazing prices on their brand of groceries, and an impressive array of gourmet delights. These are the items we grabbed of Trader Joe's Brand: White Bean Hummus- delicious, BUT on the card describing it, it said it had "pine nuts" they were not in the ingredient list, or on top of the hummus itself. 2.99 Pistachios- 5.99 a huge bagful! Slicing Brie-which comes in a 16 ounce log, it was perfectly creamy and only 6.99! Sour Cream-it was sour cream, good and cheap. Parmesan pastry Pups- like the old pigs in a blanket these are a step above, you bake them up nice and crispy I loved them. 4.99 for a dozen. Charles Shaw Chardonnay or the "two buck chuck" which is actually 2.99. It was very light, we made spritzers with it, totally would buy it again. Island Soyaki Sauce- a marinade that has teriyaki plus pineapple flavors. 3.69 for 20 ounce..we used it on Salmon and it was tasty! Black Pepper and sea salt Chips- Thick cut ridged chips-perfect for dips White corn chips- used these with a Mexican layer dip 1.79 a bag Chocolate Lava Cake-comes in a pack of two and you bake it...its decadent and chocolaty and gooey. 3.99 We grabbed some other stuff as well, like tomatoes and onions. which were super cheap. I had so much there I wanted to try, and Everything we grabbed was excellent . Most of their products are gluten free, no preservatives, Kosher and they use Sea salt and that makes me feel better about buying it. We are in love with Joe....

Yelp
I love Trader Joe's I mean you name it they have it. It is lots of fun to go and shop here. I love all the international goodies you offer. Indian and Asian and others. It's a very clean store and it is a pleasure to visit, very friendly and respectful store employee's. I would just love if Trader Joe's could make a store in my location, you would have so many customers buying your products and enjoying the fun place to shop.

Yelp
Decided to check out this Trader Joe's while I was in town since I won't be able to get close to the local one that opened for awhile now. I was able to pick up everything on my list except for one thing, which was fine by me. The store was still pretty busy, but it was a Saturday afternoon. The shelves were fully stocked and we barely had to wait in line to check out. It was a very pleasant shopping experience :)
