I love Trader Joe's so much! The prices are really great for the quality you are getting. I love the creativity and wit that go into their products and how their staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Walking into Trader Joe's is always a fun experience and you really can't beat their prices on produce!
There are always free coffee and food samples at any time at Trader Joe's. It's a great way to try all of their unique foods. They have an INCREDIBLE selection of snacks, frozen food, chips, yogurts, cheeses, flours, etc. You name it, and they have it! I am not a huge fan of eating frozen food, but everything they have is good if you are looking for a quick meal. Their frozen garlic naan ($2.29 for 4 pieces) is my favorite! They also have the best prices on Tahini, scallions, mushrooms, and more. The list goes on and on.
If you are looking for a cheap, quality wine to make sangria out of or just to sip, their 3 buck chuck is perfect! Their wine selection is also immense for the amount of space they have and their staff is always there and ready to help. During the weekend, they have wine tastings which help make the process of choosing a lot easier. Their wine prices are also some of the cheapest in town (when compared to Lucky's, Publix, and ABC).
The only con is their meat and seafood department, which is pretty subpar. I really only buy their drumsticks and ground turkey because everything else is ridiculously priced (well for a college budget). Their seafood department consists of frozen seafood, and they do not offer the meat cutting services that Publix or Lucky's has. They also lack a deli with hot food, but they have a huge prepackaged salad section, which is just ok. I haven't really found a TJ salad I loved. Do not try their sushi because it is a mouthful of rice.
Overall, Trader Joe's is a Gainesville staple for me. I go their for their produce, greek yogurt, grocery products, and wine. It is a great one stop shop with great prices. 8/10 would recommend!
