Google
This shop is really cute with a broad, fun selection of Chicago souvenirs. Honestly, the prices were phenomenal for the quality of the items - this is not your cheap souvenir shop but you will find your next favorite item on any budget. The staff was friendly and helpful. We went on Memorial Day and had no problem finding parking. Would love to go back some day!

Google
Great store for both locals and travelers! Board games, shirts, magnets etc all Chicago themed! Highly recommend!

Google
Great spot for Chicago themed and transit themed gifts, huge variety! Little pricey for some items but clearance section is large and very high quality things. Recommend

Google
I stopped by to get a couple of gifts and I liked the designs of their products. You can find patches, stickers, t shirts, maps and more. Like the name, the theme is transit by you'll find other products too. Nobody offered help. T shirts were polyester so they were soft. I'll come back again, street paid parking on Milwaukee Avenue.

Google
Cute shop, but the clerk (long dark frizzy hair) was more committed to her texting than to customers — guess I should’ve DM’d her to get service.

Google
Great little shop with all kinds of souvenirs! Super cute stickers, magnets, puzzles, prints, shirts, you name it! Pretty decent prices as well. Very friendly staff.

Google
Neat store with tons of local style Chicago trinkets. Prices were generally fair, few things needed a reality check though IMO. I enjoyed my time, and def would come back

Google
Terrific spot to buy Chicago-related retail. Shirts, games, cards, socks, shower curtains, and more. One of my favorite places to buy gifts for friends.

Yelp
Great place to get souvenirs, really well thought out designs and lots of options to choose from :)

Yelp
Thank you world of Instagram for bringing this place to my attention before we left Chicago!!!!! I couldn't find the sort of souvenir items I wanted, and voila! The best place ever. They have fantastic shirt designs of course related to Chicago themes like the cicada unearthing (horrifying.... we really picked quite a time to visit), the fun sewer cover designs, the subway loop, Chicago style dogs, fancy architecture, etc. And they've got all these fantastic designs on mugs, cups, glasses, stickers, post cards, magnets, key chains, etc. I was really after one thing which was an artistic designed umbrella. I had one ages ago from the MoMa which was black on the outside and clouds on the inside. It broke and I never had a chance to replace it with another "fancy" umbrella. Here they had one that's black on the outside - and the chicago subway system on the inside. I love it! They have a second location uptown somewhere too which is fantastic. And the staff were so friendly! I love that they have bathrooms for their customers, too. Bonus points there for sure. Highly recommend popping in if you need any Chicago themed gifts.

Yelp
Merchandise wise, this place is great for all things Chicago branded. Bought some swag for a gift. Can't wait to get it wrapped (PaperSource) and shipped off. Prices are reasonable. My one disappointment is I did not get the same welcoming experience as the next two sets of customers that walked in after me. Consistently is key for good branding.

Yelp
This is your one stop shop for anything Chicago related! There are great souvenirs and Chicago-themed everything. High quality items at an affordable price.

Yelp
I found that souvenir shops in Chicago are harder to come by than expected so I'm pretty glad that there's this place. Chicago souvenirs galore. The souvenirs here are by the actual brand of the same store name and have a trendy vibe to them (no generic souvenirs that look like they were designed during the 80s). Shirts, hats, mugs, magnets, pins, keychains, and more! Definitely make a visit if you're looking for Chicago souvenirs to gift yourself and/or to others!

Yelp
I've been to this store many years ago but never really "discovered" it until the last year or so, when an dance organization I was a part of flew dancers from all around the world to Chicago, they fell in love with the city, and I racked my brains for a place to take them where they could get more substantial souvenirs than "I Heart Chicago" mugs. I finally remembered Transit Tees existed and it became one of my favorite places to take guests... and one of my favorite stores in general. As a proud Chicagoan (lived at Belmont/Western my whole life, and Skokie does not count!) my love for the city has grown in recent years due to my constant "homecomings" from the army as well as my master's degree which has led me to study various aspects of Chicago's infrastructure through housing and GIS, such as crime and the CTA, to name a couple. As a result, Transit Tees became much, much more relevant in my life as a TRUE Chicago souvenir stores. I've gotten into collecting enamel pins lately and Transit Tees has an amazing selection of unique enamel pins, most of which can be purchased as stickers too. I myself bought a CTA token pin and a Chicago flag token on clearance for only $5 each, and I spent a little bit more on a cool non-clearanced "L" map pin. They have a lot of other pins too that may look stupid to a non-Chicagoan, but makes someone like me chuckle in ironic nostalgia, such as the ubiquitous newspaper machine arrangement, a box of tamales, and the dreaded orange parking ticket. They also have every single CTA stop represented in a magnet, sticker, or pin, which is really cool. They have a wide variety of other items too such as clothing, cups, decorations, postcards, etc. I myself have really only indulged in the pins/stickers but I'm hoping to shop around more next time I go to see if there's something else I like. My all-time favorite purchase from them right now, however, is the absolutely AMAZING EL: The Chicago Transit Adventure board game. I saw it advertised on Instagram and instantly knew I had to get it, and I'm so glad I did. It's been a hit at all the parties I've brought it to, and it's super addicting. There's a lot of explanation to get out of the way, but I find players get the hang of it even if they aren't super familiar with the CTA and how it works. Looking at you, Kayla, my Morton Grovian girlfriend! Anyway, the board game is absolutely wonderful and it's clear a lot of passion and thought was put into it by true Chicagoans. If you're a Chicago fan, a board game fan, or better yet, both, this game is a must buy for you! The service here at Transit Tees is always pleasant as well. The store is nicely arranged, and has the right amount of "clutter" to give it a bit of character and make it clear that they have a lot of awesome items to offer. They're also super engaging on social media, particularly Instagram; they're always reposting the game nights I tag them in which is fun to see! Love, love, love this store, and recommend it for tourists and for anyone that's fallen in love with Chicago like I have! Y'all deserve better than an "I Heart Chicago" mug!

Yelp
Cute little shop that's great for both locals and visitors. I've gotten so many things from here--a CTA card game, CTA board game, stickers, keychains, magnets. Everything is so cute and much better designed than what you'd find in souvenir stores in the Loop.

Yelp
I've never stepped foot into this store but I accidentally came across this business while online searching for a Chicago card game. I love card games so when I saw that Transit Tees had created a unique Chicago Loop card game I was thrilled. The game was released the day after thanksgiving but was available for preorder before then. Unfortunately this store is not located close to where I live or work so I subscribed to their newsletter hoping for some Black Friday deals since I'd have to pay shipping costs to have any items shipped to me. Thankfully for Black Friday they offered 15% off any order. I ordered the Elevated Card game and a cute greeting card. My order was nicely packaged and was shipped to me within a reasonable period of time. It even included a $5 off coupon for my next purchase! I love the card and love the card game. It looks so fun and I can't wait to play it! I really enjoy these type of businesses that make hand crafted products. I can't wait to one day visit this store. Transit Tees just sent an email newsletter out inviting their subscribers to visit the up coming One of a Kind Holiday show at Merchandise Mart to visit their booth (along with 600 other independent crafters). I just reserved my ticket and am hoping to stop by their booth! Thank you!

Yelp
Super cool souvenir store. Yes you read that right. All things Chicago - city, landmarks, subway line, etc.

Yelp
I purchased a Groupon for "Transit Tees" months ago. Since it was approaching the expiration date, hubby and I made a trip to Wicker Park, where TT is located at. Honestly, I can go bananas over these Chicago-themed kinck-knacks and spend a week-worth of my paycheck here. The Groupon ($40 off) kept me in check. They have a large selection of t-shirts that are locally-made. Toward the back of the store, there are two (2) racks of "clearance tees" for both men and women ($14 for one, or $24 for two). I saw some ingeniously-designed magnets with the "L" stops, pencils with the "L" colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, brown, pink, purple), and baby bibs and onesies. They are art pieces portraying the Chicago landscape and panoramic views. I have generated a list of "to-buy" items, with one of them being the Chicago periodic table. There are probably an insane amount of merchandize I would love to purchase, it's too bad that adults have responsibilities. Bills need to be paid first! There's also a Yelp check-in offer ($10 off $40), which is equivalent to 25% off on a purchase over $40. This should come in handy if you're picking up some souvenirs or home decors for your residence.

Yelp
If you are a tourist or a very loyal local this is your place!! They have huge variety of different t-shirts, matching shirts for . They also have everything you can imagine. From collars to shot glasses, whiskey glasses, Magnet for the fridge. Literally everything u could want with chicago flag. !!! If you check in they have 10$ off with a 40$ purchase! I totally loved it. And I'm always coming back

Yelp
Fun Chicago-themed shop for tshirts, cards and gifts. Something fun for anyone who loves living here or needs a gift to take home! Check it out if you're in Andersonville.

Yelp
These folks have game! Chicago Handshake was a huge hit at the party, and we're all paying the price for that! I get nervous about pre-orders from a small shop like this. My bad. Transit Tees online ordering was seamless. We were rushing to get to the store to pick it up the night of the party, it was going to be close with their closing time, they waited, only a couple of minutes, but who hasn't had a shopkeeper close the door on them! Any way, great game, great service, highly recommend both!

Lupe M.

Yelp
Came across this shop while searching online for a local store with Chicago themed shirts. Not only will you find tees but you can find lots of other Chicago pride merchandise. I checked out their website but noticed they don't do shipping. Planned a visit during my lunch hr. I knew exactly what I was looking for. It was an in/out visit but quickly browsed around. Found what I was looking for. You can find some deals in back rack. Be sure to check-in via yelp for $10 off $40 purchase. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Super cute place to buy Chicago related souvenirs. I initially ordered online, but there was a mistake with my order so I came back to exchange it. Totally ok, because I got to look around the cute stuff in stock. The cashier was really nice and apologized for their mistake
google avatar

Yelp
I desperately wish there was a place like this in my city. Always find great Chicago swag here when I stop in!
google avatar

Alison Y.

Yelp
If you love Chicago, you need to come here. They have everything you could ever want from coasters, glasses, shot glasses, stickers, magnets, pins, shirts, decorations etc. The place is always well organized and is a great place to decorate your own apartment with Chicago pride or take out of towners for a visit to stock up on some gifts. They've got some really great stickers that can go on your water bottles so make sure you take a look!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything at Transit Tees exudes massive amounts of Chicagoan pride, from their t-shirts to their buttons to their glasses. There is a wide range of items available so you'll be able to find something to take home. This is one of my favorite places to buy souvenirs-- their merchandise is unique and a bajillion times better than whatever is at O'Hara's.

Yelp
I've been looking for a store with a decent selection of Chi-themed decor and things for a while now since most places are your typical tourist shop [trap] or might be a gift shop and has a small section dedicated to it. Transit Tees has shirts/tanks (as the name might suggest), socks, pillows, candles, posters/wall decor, street signs, puzzles, magnets, postcards, stickers, pins, glasses - basically anything you may want to rep Chicago. They also have this pretty funny card game, created by them, called Loop. Think Uno but with CTA. I got one because I think it'll be a great coffee table addition to get a quick game going when people are over! I think they also have magnets for every L stop out there which was pretty cool. I do wish their wall decor had a little more variety than the same chicago neighborhood map in different colors or the rest being CTA-themed, but everything else was a fairly broad assortment that fits what different people might be looking for! Go support a local business and check it out!

Ken C.

Yelp
These people have some seriously fun designs. I happened to pop in during their end of summer sale and was lucky to find a couple of great women's tanks that were 20% off. They had a bunch of great men's tees and even some adorable baby clothes too. I really enjoyed looking through their unique post cards, stickers, patches, pins, and other souvineers. They have an online store too, so I was crossing my fingers hoping they made designs for other cities and sports teams, but sadly they don't. If you guys ever branch out and make gear for other teams, (CA Bay Area, ahem) I'll be your first customer!
google avatar

Jonathan M.

Yelp
This area is pretty cool and this store is pretty much a souvenir shop in the middle of wicker park. We were visiting from out of town and we wanted to get some cool memorabilia to remember our awesome trip. They have an awesome selection of stickers to choose from with good prices.

Yelp
i love this store i got a shirt buttons cards i be back for more the also give you acuopon $5 off next purchase wiiiiiii chiiiiiiiiiiii

Yelp
Came here specifically for the six point pet chicago flag dog collar. Store is pretty cool everything Chicago related. Good customer service. The only reason im not giving them 5 stars is because i would have like to have seen more chicago flag sweaters beside that cool store if your looking for anything chicago related
google avatar

Yelp
Transit tees has great Chicago gear (with awesome, in-house designed and printed) at a fair price. Consider visiting with your out of town friends, family, etc. rather than spending money at a run of the mill gift store for Chicago gear. It's awesome that some of the merchandise is geared toward out of towners, while other stuff is geared towards Chicagoans (take a look at their stickers). The store itself has a great layout, and the employees (and owner!) are extremely friendly. TL;DR: In-house produced merchandise geared towards city folk and out of towners for a fair price. Buy local. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Great Chicago-centric store! Bought several postcards a faux Chicago Hotel key-chain- like hotels used to attach to room keys before they started issuing key-cards. I regret not purchasing the Chicago Flag winter hat.

Kristy E.

Yelp
Loved it! Lots of variety and there is something for everyone. The kids tees sizes were a bit off. A large was for 14-16 y/o but could probably only fit your average 7/8 year old. It then jumped to Adult Small which was way too long for a kid. Other than that, amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
Shopping along Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park beats the Mag Mile. Transit Tees is a cute shop for locals and tourists - you will find much cooler t-shirts here than those oddball souvenir shops in the Loop. I bought myself one t-shirt with a multi-colored L map. I love maps, and all things rainbow colored, and the fact that they had the t-shirt in my size means it was meant to be. The ladies tees do run a little small. I'm typically a L/XL, so I'm embarrassed to admit that I needed to purchase a 2X and it's still a bit snug. I also purchased a small square magnet with the same design for my refrigerator. There are t-shirts and magnets with various maps printed on them of the entire city, traffic signs, or just single L stops. There was a men's t-shirt with a fun neon design of buses, but my husband insisted he's "not a hipster," and wasn't willing to try on the shirt. Oh well. I guess you all can't be as fashionable as me. That being said, there are some sporty t-shirts too with retro White Sox and Cubs screenprints. Transit Tees is awesome and perfect for gifting to yourself, anyone with Chicago pride, and a tourist that doesn't want to go home in a tacky Hard Rock Café t-shirt.

Yelp
I always want to support small Chicago businesses but it gets tough when they have the same designs on their shirts for the past several years. I was visiting my hometown of Chicago this weekend (after being gone for 2 years) and many of the shirts were all the same designs from years ago. I think they need to scrap all their old designs and come up with new ones. There are so many possibilities. Needless to say this time I did not buy anything. But we do have like 5-6 Chicago shirts from here from the past. Hopefully next time I go in, I'll find some new shirts (more tanks would be great too!) Kudos to you tho for being open on a Monday, all the other Chicago stores were closed on Monday!

Yelp
We've worked with Transit Tees for over a year as our main printer for our custom sports apparel business. The owner Tim is just the right mixture of artist and business man. It's a rare combination and he applies it well to create some really cool concepts, amazing attention to detail, and some really killer processes that have produced almost zero errors during our time working together. Given the volume we do with Transit Tees the error rate is incredibly low. Highly recommend them for cool styles in the store, or getting a custom print that you know is going to be delivered exactly as you expect.
google avatar

Jose G.

Yelp
I Chicago store for Chicago people and not tourists........... The staff is super friendly and the ideas they came up with to put this place together is very unique and eccentric
google avatar

Ysabelle P.

Yelp
This place has the best Chicago souvenirs for people from out of town. This is the place to take them to get themselves something handmade from the city. Everything sold at Transit Tees is handmade in the store itself. The things here are not only for visitors from outside Chicago, but they are also made for people who live in Chicago. You could get things from magnets to shirts and even pins and stickers. This is THE place to go if you want to get something to remind you of the city instead of getting something from the nearest gift shop. The price matches the quality of the items sold here and it is truly a place to go when you're from out of town.
google avatar

Kat D.

Yelp
I absolutely love this store! Whenever I have friends in town I take them here to get cute Chicago souvenirs that aren't super cheesy.
google avatar

Fabiola C.

Yelp
They sell the best Chi things! So unique and not your typical souvenirs. Locally made bar soap with Chicago wrapping paper and city map posters is what I brought back with me to my friends in LA.

Daniel O.

Yelp
Day after a purchase, i came back and Told them I forgot to use a 5 dollar off coupon - They couldn't do a 5 dollar credit and said he wouldn't let me return the items and purchase something else in order to use the coupon? I messed up and forgot the coupon, I know and understand that - but I was still willing to purchase items and the whole "customer is always right" is first thing that comes to mind. pretty much why I do my shopping through online now, unfortunately. This experience aside, cool items at the store. This just rubbed me the wrong way Appreciate that the owner got back to me !
google avatar

S D.

Yelp
The customer service is fantastic. I ordered a poster, but I bought the wrong size poster frame due to an error in the website description. Transit Tees resolved the problem by immediately fixing the size description and delivering a new poster (complete with a complimentary frame) straight to my door. They coordinated a time with me where I would be home to receive the poster, so it wouldn't be left on the snowy ground. I was impressed by their responsiveness and service. I will definitely purchase from them again. I can't wait to see what new stuff comes into the shop.
google avatar

Vee G.

Yelp
Great shop with super friendly staff! Fun Chicago-inspired merchandise. I stop by here often!

Dave M.

Yelp
Very cool shop. Will definitely be back for more items when I'm back in Chicago!!! Customer service was awesome and friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome unique Chicago souvenirs... But really more than that... More like... Awesome Chicago themed stuff!!!
google avatar

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Very cool Chicago stuff, stuff I have not run across anywhere else! I find great stuff for my Chicago people who are living elsewhere and missing Chicago. Got a great City of Chicago Water Dept, water bottle for a friend who works for the Water Dept he totally loved it! And very cool Chicago t-shirts! if you're in the neighborhood do not pass this place up I promise you won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Jimmy M.

Yelp
I was visiting Chicago for a few days and I was trying to find interesting, non-touristy places to buy things I don't need. I ended up noticing the loop graphics initially and thought that was a clever idea to put those on various items. I bought one shirt initially and even returned later to buy another. I wanted one shirt specifically so the owner actually went to the back and brought a box out to have the employee find it. The staff were very friendly in a genuine way, not in that forced robotic way you see sometimes and the prices were fair. I'm probably going to order another shirt online because I like mine so much. This one of my favorite stores that I discovered in Chicago and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for Chicago merchandise.
google avatar

Stefanie A.

Yelp
Such a cute little boutique! For all things "Chicago", without the traditional touristy-feel, this is the place to go. I've received so many compliments and "where did you get that?"s for my Chicago flag tank. Don't forget to check in when you're there for a discount on your purchase!
google avatar

Nick A.

Yelp
This place is GREAT! Lots of really awesome Chicago branded items. Perfect for anyone wanting a top notch souvenir with some thought behind it. My wife and I were in town for a hawks game and found this place while walking by. We will definitely be stopping back by anytime we come to the city. The people working here were some of the nicest we've met. Would highly recommend this shop to EVERYONE!
google avatar

Denise M.

Yelp
I have worked with Transit Tees for over 5 years and it has been a great experience. They have strong design, layout and customer service. I always feel like their most important customer when I work with them.
google avatar

Ross R.

Yelp
Very cool merch. Stuff you won't find anywhere else. But buy online, because the customer service in this store leaves a lot to be desired. I've been in 3 times and the people behind the counter won't even acknowledge your existence or ask if they can help you, and when you engage with them, they make it seem like they're doing you a favor.
google avatar

Jessica E.

Yelp
Stumbled upon Transit Tees while walking around the neighborhood in search for quirky little shops. TT definitely has a "niche" and all their products are super unique and creative. I'm sure if I lived in Chicago, I would definitely own many pieces from this store. As a visitor to Chicago, I got a sense of civic pride and unity and that is definitely something very, very awesome. Customer service was fabulous!
google avatar

Sammi E.

Yelp
A totally kick-ass store that makes you love Chicago more than you already do. Great designs on shirts and the various gifts they have available. As soon as you walk in, you want to buy everything and deck your life out to display your Chicago pride. The staff was super friendly and I will definitely be back soon to buy some Chicago swag.
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
These guys will be branding the City of Chicago in no time. Like any major design company, these guys draw from their city's magnificent transit system, a source of architectual, artistic, and historic wealth. I got myself the Blue Line shirt! Pretty fantastic.

Yelp
Wandered in to the store to find it was a little gem! Unique, well priced items and a super friendly staff! Bravo for small business that does it right! Don't miss dropping your cash at Transit Tees!
