"The Deal: $7 original cocktails, half off wine bottles, $5 draft beers, $6 mini quesabirria, chicken, or asada tacos We don’t know too much about how raccoons like to party, but if the vibe is anything like Trash Panda Drinking Club, then we want the next invite. At this dive-y spot in Northside Village, you can spend happy hour sitting under fluorescent red lights while you listen to house music deep cuts with $7 classic house cocktails and mini quesabirria tacos served with an eye-watering jalapeno crema sauce." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene
"Sometimes all you need is a dive bar and a stiff drink. Trash Panda delivers both. Order the traditional version — a bourbon and rye combo with angostura and piloncillo ($12). Or, opt for the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, featuring Xicaru mezcal from Oaxaca and Reposado tequila ($12). From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily, both beverages are $7. For a fully satisfying night out, pair your cocktail with the Thursday special: $25 for a rib-eye and two sides." - Brianna Griff
"With daily food specials and free-flowing drinks that will make you want to dance all night long, this Northside Village bar is not only a great place to hang out but also has above-average bar grub. Trash Panda’s weekly food specials span from $1 wing Mondays to $25 rib-eyes on Thursdays, while the Trashy Meal — consisting of a Trash Burger, Outlaw draft, and shot — is available daily for $10. Cold beer, house wines, rotating frozens, and tasty cocktails like the Bee’s Knees are always a guarantee." - Brianna Griff
"A few other places understand the importance of a good late-night meal like Trash Panda Drinking Club in Northside Village. The inside of this divey bar is tiny, painted black, and barely lit, outside of a few red lights hanging over the bar and neon signs inviting you to “eat trash, be free.” While we wouldn’t call crispy glazed brussels sprouts and quesabirria tacos with eye-watering jalepeño crema sauce trash, we have shoveled these dishes in a way that would make local raccoons proud. And after hanging out there for a few hours, we understood all of the trash panda enthusiasm." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene
"If you’re still holding on to the Halloween spirit, head to Trash Panda Drinking Club this December. Expect to see some spooky Christmas decorations as the Northside bar channels The Nightmare Before Christmas. Six specialty cocktails are available, like the Nightshade Tea, which combines mezcal and toasted marshmallows. If you like a little spice, the Bone Daddy uses Trash Panda’s corn liqueur, poblano chile liqueur, and horchata. Themed mugs of Jack Skellington and the gang are also available for $17." - gianni greene
