The 24 Best Restaurants In Rome - Rome - The Infatuation

"Trattoria Ai Due Ponti makes quite an impression. Your meal starts with a spread of salami that arrives on a large wooden tray, piled high with five pounds of assorted meats and accompanied by a knife and glove. We’re talking about every type of salami you can imagine—classic, truffle, fennel, ‘nduja, and more—ready to be sliced and self-served until you’ve had your fill. It’s not all cured meats here, though. The pastas, like gricia with asparagus and the deconstructed amatriciana, are great. And the suckling maialino, juicy and encased in thick, crispy skin, is the porky equivalent of a soprano solo you'd see at Teatro dell'Opera. The white tablecloths and antique artwork make it somewhere you’ll want to linger, especially since you're miles away from large tour groups with flags and microphones." - annie replogle

The bonus I got from the website (shown in the photo) was a good reason to go out for the evening. I ordered pasta — simple but very tasty. The sauce was just right: rich and aromatic, with grated cheese on top. It was nice to just relax and enjoy a good meal.

The food was really delicious and you could tell it was made with care — the pasta was just perfect, rich in flavor and nicely presented. I also calculated the calories using the service shown in the photo, and it turned out to be super convenient! For anyone watching their diet, it’s a real gem — you can check all the macros and calories in seconds.

Wonderful grilled meat at a very pleasant restaurant. Very pricey, in some plates unjustified.

The price was a bit higher than expected but the fish was very good.

I had two visits here. On our recent visit with my wife, our server was horrible and many items on the menu were not available including fish, and the food we got was really bland. The guy in the cashier asked me - did I enjoy? We didn't I said. On my first visit the year before: For main, I asked the waiter to recommend and he responded Black Pepper Pasta, which is very common in Rome, but I was a single person and that portion is huge... It would not be polite of me to refuse the recommendation. It was boring to eat all that pasta. Maybe I should have asked for half portion of the pasta and some meat but I only thought about this when it was too late.

Took my partner here for her birthday dinner on the 13th May and it was everything and more than we expected. From the moment we arrived we were treated to impeccable service from Marco and his colleagues. We had the Buffalo mozzarella and Bruschetta to start, they arrived promptly and we both fresh and tasty. We then both had the grilled lamb chops which were cooked to perfection. With an excellent bottle of Chianti recommended by Marco to match the meal it was a magical night. Thank you very much for a great night.

It was a surprise to find this restaurant hiding on a road I drive on since 2002...🥴 🤔 Nice atmosphere, 2 separate dining rooms that allows you some privacy if you ha a working dinner, a family reunion. Other big point it has a nice parking in a city, Rome, we're parking spots are a luxury. Nice people, a young waiter by the name Francesco who study chemical engineering and work, which is very good. Top course was a roasted little pig "maialino" very delicate and te artistic double fried "carciofo alla giudica" . Classic roman pasta "gricia and cacio e pepe", very good selection of wines.

Amazing food. Great service. Fantastic wine menu. Deserts we're unbelievably good 🤤 some of the best I ever had. They have a selection of salami for each table to snack on. Highly recommend this restaurant.
