Da Noemi

"The mother of the current owner opened this busy restaurant in a medieval alleyway in the historic centre, giving it her own name. The historic dishes here reflect the culinary traditions of Ferrara, with specialities such as salama da sugo (pork sausage) and pasticcio di maccheroni (a baked pasta dish) on the menu. A must for anyone looking to sample local dishes already famous during the time of the Este family." - Michelin Inspector

At our first day in Ferrara we saw this restaurant and said, we should have dinner over there. With high expectations we went on Sunday evening and everything was just perfect. From the storytelling of the history until the ambiance and local and traditional dishes. We loved it, thank you!

Amazing Authentic Italian Experience! I recently dined at Trattoria da Noemi and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, authentic Italian ambiance. The menu offered a wonderful selection of traditional dishes, and every bite exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Overall, Trattoria da Noemi is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. I will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic lunch here! Just a heads up, you’ll need a reservation because it seems to be a popular spot all year round. The service charge includes the bread basket, which was really good. We even got to try some local bread from Ferrara. The starter of fried zucchini with mozzarella was a must-try - it was fresh, crunchy, and delicious. The food was great, and the staff were super friendly and professional. The prices were also reasonable. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

This place is really the real deal. Authentic, Ferrara cuisine that is made with love is something worth seeking out. We had eaten here 15 years ago and stumbled upon it again. This time, there is a Michelin sign up, but that wasn't the motivation to go. It was because we remembered the pumpkin ravioli with sage and amaretto cookie, the fresh pasta with black truffle, and the wonderful, authentic vibe of this place. It's a busy place, and the elegance is just enough when paired with the working class traditional cuisine. It's a special place. And, it is tucked away in the cute medieval quarter of Ferrara. Transport yourself back and eat the way it was meant to be. Wonderful.

Lovely find. Delicious local pasta dishes and chocolate cake. Also, probably the best fresh bread we've had in Italy so far. Great value for money, very nice setting. Loved the interesting history with Noemi, the original owner born more than 100 years ago

Yelp
Wonderful traditional local food. I haven't found a place I like more! Wonderful and quaint location and friendly staff. Italian and English menus. I love the pinzini and cappellacci alla panna. Great house vino as well. Prices are comparable to the area.
