Trattoria Farfalla Los Feliz

Found the Los Feliz location on accident on our way to the Greek Theater, and yes this was a great idea. Small and simple with a variety of seating options: a few large round tables, bench seating along the side as well as standard square tables. But the food really stands out here. I expected the pizza to be good, but it was damn good. And the pasta was just outstanding. I considered the prices to be more than fair, especially for the area, and the portions large enough to share. We got there a bit early, but I can imagine this place going off at peak hours, with wait times and slower service...all worth the wait!! There is outdoor seating, but the street noise could be an issue for some. Cheers to our server Andres!

We have great memories dining at Farfalla for the past 36 years. They were your traditional trattoria, that you tumble upon while visiting Italy. It just to be half of the side that you see today. Its warmth rustic atmosphere would set the scene, a good glass of wine and enjoyed traditional Italian food. My favorite it’s always been the Penne à la Norma, delicious saucy , with good mozzarella- just divine. Me and husband appreciate the effort to maintain their tradition of trattoria. Good and friendly staff and the Adrian the manager are great people.

What a great experience. We booked this restaurant based on reviews and its proximity to the Griffith Observatory and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was super attentive and the atmosphere was friendly. The restaurant was full on a Sunday evening and it was very clearly regulars. The portions for everything including wines by the glass were generous. We will be back.

It’s better to fly to LA for Trattoria Farfalla’s pasta pizza than fly to Italy! Everything was delicious. Thanks to the entire staff. We loved your food and the outdoor seating is fantastic! We’ll definitely stop in when we are back in town.

I had the Gnocchi Quattro Fromagi and it was absolutely delicious. This is my new spot for comfort pasta. So creamy and savory, I am already thinking about the next time I can eat this.

The food, atmosphere and service is amazing. The servers never rushed us to leave or finish our meal faster. This is real Italian way. Loved that!

We went around 8:45pm on a Saturday night. The olive oil used for the bread could have been seasoned more. The gentleman that took our order was friendly and provided prompt service. The spaghetti and beef (for my people who do not eat pork) meatballs were great. The Pasta E Fagioli (pasta and bean soup) tasted great. The Pennette Santino with sausage tasted great. We were served the best Tiramisu to date. I recommend you get it if you like Tiramisu. I also tried the Old Fashioned chocolate fudge cake which had whipped cream on the side. As someone previously stated, it wasn’t that sweet but it tasted good.

This is a great Italian spot, perfect for a date or dinner before a show at The Greek. It's dark and cool inside; sidewalk tables outside. Their bread and oil table starter is one of my favorites. The portion sizes are large and the pasta is fresh. I ordered ravioli and bolognese on last visit and the we had plenty for leftovers. I prefer making a reservation as I've seen the place fill quickly by 6p. The service is friendly and prompt.

Farfalla Trattoria is a homemade Italian place with cozy ambience, great for a casual dinner for some simple pasta. Price point is affordable, but with similar price you could find better place if you're willing to drive a bit. Quite oily food.

Farfalla had been on our list to try for some time. On the positive side, the service was adequate, if stern, and the location was lively. The Montepulciano was delicious. Our pasta dishes were not good at all, however. I've been a house made pasta kick for a few months, and the ravioli de magro (spinach and ricotta) was undercooked and completely overwhelmed by the tomato with basil sauce. We couldn't taste anything other than deep tomato (no hint of basil). We also tried their signature pennette with sausage, which was more flavorful with gentle spices, but not worth returning for. The free bread was appreciated because we were starving, but also not that great. My sweetheart was in the mood for dessert, but preferred to go somewhere else. We waited a long time for our food. I think we wouldn't have minded if a waiter had checked in with us or said something pleasant. Sadly there was little to make this restaurant enjoyable other than the location, people watching, and good company.

This is Yelp review I will be listing; 1 star (zero is not allowed): I had an absolutely disappointing experience at this so-called "Italian" restaurant late in the evening (after 8:30pm), and I feel compelled to share it to warn others, especially seniors or those with mobility needs. We arrived to find the place nearly empty, only about 4 out of 20 tables occupied, which should have been our first red flag. Service was slow, rude, and downright hostile from the start. My guest, a 72 year old senior, requested a simple accommodation for comfort: sitting side by side in a one-sided booth, which would have required moving the table just 3-4 inches. Before we could fully explain the reason (related to mobility issues), the staff yanked the table away aggressively, pulling my body forward (luckily I grabbed the other table), blamed me for trying to adjust it, and snapped, "Leave if you don't like it." My guest even tried to joke around to lighten the mood, but they doubled down on their stance, making the whole interaction feel even more unwelcoming and unnecessary, particularly concerning given my guest's age and visible need for such a minor adjustment. The hostility was so intense that my guest didn't even feel comfortable paying with a credit card, fearing possible retaliation. As for the food, it was a total miss. The pasta e fagioli soup tasted and looked like straight-up refried beans from a can--nothing Italian about it. The marinara sauce was gross ketchup-like slop in both appearance and flavor. We sent both back, but the overall vibe and quality made us regret staying. If you're looking for authentic Italian or even basic hospitality, skip this place. I hope they improve, but based on our visit, it's not worth the risk.

Quick stop on the way home from playing tourist for the day - I was tired and hungry from not having eaten all day. Got sat immediately without reservations at 7pm on a Friday night which is always a special treat. Everyone there was super friendly and service was impeccable. Except we weren't offered a drink nor were we read the specials - which we didn't even notice until we had a different server at the table next to us going through everything. It was a blessing really as we just wanted to eat and leave. I had the penne arrabiata which is my go to when there are too many delicious choices. It was good. I could only eat half as it was a generous serving. Not the best one I've ever had but it hit the spot. However we got a bit of bread before the pasta with a dipping oil with herbs and sundried tomato and garlic that I wish I could have poured over my pasta - it was delish! Great atmosphere / I would love to go back and try something else.

I live close but haven't been back in over 10 years after a bad experience. I was super hungry and craving Italian so we decided to give Farfalla another shot. We got seated pretty quickly but similar to our last experience no one brought water or asked for drink order for over 5 minutes. At that point, we were also ready to order. Did I say I was super hungry ? We ordered the calamari, lasagna and gnocchi. They brought some (cold) bread and olive oil which worked to stave off my hangry mood. The large plate of calamari came and it was NOT good. Super chewy and the batter had no flavor and was way too heavy. I ate it though because, you know, still hungry. After a while, my lasagna came. It was barely room temperature, and the thick layer of mozzarella cheese was no longer melted. It might have been good if it was warm, but I will never know. However, the gnocchi was actually hot and tasty. Thank goodness because it was the only saving grace from the visit. Service was ok but can't say I will ever come back again no matter how hungry I am.

I had the Lobster ravioli, one of the daily specials. It was excellent! We ordered takeout.

Hadn't had Farfalla in years and ordered take-out from them this Sunday and was happily surprised. Started with the Contadina, light veggies with goat cheese that was seasoned perfectly and rich in flavor. The pastas were delicious! My favorite was the Farfalle al Salmone, bowtie pasta with peas served in a light pink sauce. The Tagliolini Gamberetti was also delicious and a bit lighter in flavor. My favorite pasta here was the Ravioli di Zucca, though I haven't had that in years. I did also order the apple tart which arrived cold, but I'm thinking that's cause this was an Uber Eats order. The flavor was still great and the apples delicious, I'm certain this must taste amazing fresh and warm. As far as delivery Italian food goes, this was a win! Parmesan cheese and bread on the side, dishes all packaged extremely well, and all items arriving fresh and tasty. Will definitely be ordering from them again and will gladly go in person as well.

The penne pasta was absolutely delicious. It was creamy but still dynamic and was such a comfort food. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was perfect with it. I did not particularly love the pizza because I felt the cheese tastes too "milky" but my sister liked it and said it tasted fresh. The starting bread was super underwhelming along with the garlic confit. The bread was hard and cold. The pasta stole the show for sure!

Came here for dinner as I had been craving the pumpkin ravioli. Came here multiple times over the years and the pumpkin ravioli was so flavorful, and hadn't been in some time so stopped by. It was busy for a Monday evening but we were seated right away and waters were brought right out. Next came the bread with an olive oil mixed with garlic and other items. It doesn't necessarily feel the bread is made in house, but it's a basic little pre-meal snack. Our server went over the daily specials and mentioned a smoked mozzarella pizza, so we tried that along with the ravioli de zucca (pumpkin ravioli in a walnut and cream sauce). The pizza was decent but not necessarily something I will remember. It didn't have that fitness when holding it out, it flopped down like it was sad due to the heaviness of the cheese on the front end and it melting through, making the crust soggy. As for the ravioli, I had been craving it for some time but it just didn't hit like it used to. It tasted like something was missing from how it used to be prepared. Really can't put my finger on it but it just didn't carry that same flavor it had in the past, and that was a disappointment. Overall, an ok meal but something was just off with both dishes, unfortunately.

Farfalla is such an underrated gem. I came here on a Thursday evening and was seated immediately upon arrival. I made reservations a couple days in advance just in case, but the restaurant was pretty quiet that evening. The waiters were all so friendly and made me feel at home. They serve complimentary bread with the most amazing flavored olive oil (dried roasted tomatoes and garlic, yes please). We ordered the calamari fritti as the app and it was fantastic. Super light and fresh, it's the perfect spring/summer dish. For the mains, we got the tagliolini cozze e vongole and rigatoni al tre funghi. The portions were extremely generous and we had leftovers to take home. Both pastas were incredible and had so much flavor. I especially enjoyed the richness and umami flavors of the funghi pasta. I will definitely be making a trip back here to satisfy any of my Italian food cravings. Well done Farfalla.

What a gem in Los Feliz! The portions are big and reasonable. The ambiance is romantic and cozy. Authentic Italian feel to the place. Loved the wines and pastas. Ther service was quick. Will come back again!

The Chicken Piccata was not received as advertised. There were no "mashed" potatoes. Instead, the potatoes "chunks" where incredibly undercooked . Barely any vegetables, with a terrible sauce. After waiting nearly 2 hours for delivery, this is disappointing.

Food was outstanding. Really nice vibe in there. The only bummer was the bread was cold and tough to chew. Felt like it was leftover bread from lunch or the day before. But the pasta was on point.

Rude as F have an 8:15 they set a 8:30 crew down right in front of us wow you suck So we waited a half hour and just decided to leave the girl behind the counter was clueless. The guy came up with a glass of wine offering. Your place is gonna go down suck it.

our neighborhood on Finley Avenue has been dealing with the toxic wood smoke from the pizza oven for many years. Every day at 12:30 they start burning wood and it fills our apartment building with smoke. You cannot leave the windows open and you cannot use your patio. You cannot go outdoors. The most shocking thing about all this is they're still burning the oven this week while we still have smoke from the terrible fires surrounding our city. When I complained about the smoke today to John Borghetti, the owner, he threatened to sue me for $10 million dollars. His son Xandre was equally rude to us. They don't live in this community therefore they really don't care about what happens here. Despite all the trauma of the smoke from the fires for them, it's just business as usual. Toxic wood smoke from commercial fires needs to be discontinued in. extremely bad for the environment.

Ambiance was nice on a Sunday at 5pm. Place filled up about an hour later. It's a small place, so some of the tables are close to each other. I ordered the rigatoni pasta with chicken and broccoli and a light cream sauce. Sadly it had no flavor. I wouldn't come back here again.

I had a good time dining on Farfalla's cute patio, even though I do have mixed feelings about its cuisine. The service was really nice and the food came out very quickly - and both of our pastas were delicious. I love that they have many vegetarian options. But then the dessert came out and it was just weird.. we ordered the cheesecake and it was warm, almost hot. Felt like it was just thrown in the microwave and served to us right away. It left me confused. Other than that, it's a pretty nice spot for dinner :)

I made a Friday night reservation on Resy just hours before. I had never been to Farfalla Trattoria, but my boss who once lived in this part of Los Angeles suggested it. Our party of 3 had a fantastic experience. I'm a big fan of Bruschetta and it was a standout. Served like a flat bread pizza, we ordered the 3 slice and you will have to eat it right away as the crust will get soft and soggy. Otherwise, the crispness of the crust made the dish. For a Friday night, it was quite slow, so I wonder if this is normal. If so, it is likely to be a normal stop for a nice night before a show at The Greek. I was able to find street parking at 7pm, but it was a few blocks away, but nice stroll for a Fall night.

This place is a hidden gem. The pizza and pasta was incredible and service was excellent. Wine list is also on point! I would highly recommend if in the area!

The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent and the service was great. I went with a friend to celebrate my birthday and was quite pleased with the experience. I will definitely come back

A great spot for a date place with your wife/husband, or meeting up with friends, or a family gathering. I noticed this was evident in the many people that filled this place on a Friday night. No parking lots nearby, thou neighborhood street parking only. Highly suggested to reserve a table thou after 9pm dining your ok to find a table. The restaurant was packed from 6:30-8:30 pm. Staff very friendly and seated us immediately. There is also outdoor dining next to the street. Interior is inviting, simple decor and brick walls. Service was excellent. At any rate, we ordered the caprese salad and mozzarella salad for starters. A plate of homemade bread was brought out along with olive oil dip marinated in rosemary, garlic and tomatoes. This dip was delicious. The caprese salad was nothing special here because it lacked flavor. The tomato and mozzarella was tasteless for $15.95. Grateful the pasta were all outstanding; Pumpkin ravioli in a walnut cream sauce was absolutely scrumptious. Pasta made Al dente and the pumpkin filling had the perfect blend of spices that complimented the walnut cream sauce. A dreamy dish. A very memorable dish, I can eat this year round and I could eat double the portions. I was crying eating this dish because it was that good! Zucchini with shrimp in fettuccine was another noteworthy dish. Laden with garlic and shrimp broth was an epic dish, each bite made you want more. Spaghetti and super large meat balls a savory dish with a delicious tomato sauce like from your nonnas kitchen. We had no room for dessert thou the Pinot Grigio was a dessert on it own. This Italian trattoria is a gem in the heart of Los Feliz and will return when we are back in town. Grazie Mille!

Too bad I can't give this place 0 stars. The pizza and pasta were so tasteless I had to add a ton of salt in order to get some flavor out of it. Both my wife and I couldn't finish our pasta and felt sick after eating. 2 pastas and one measly pizza for $72 before tip. Defiantly not worth it. Won't be returning.

This place looks like a small hole in the wall but has amazing food. My wife had the swordfish dinner and it was amazing. The quality, the taste of it all was amazing to her taste buds. I had a steak plate, which came with a lot of thin pieces of meat that tasted amazing. I highly recommend this place for a date night. While I forgot to take pictures, I will tell you that this place is worth in value, taste and quantity.

Would give zero if I could!! Went to this restaurant for dinner with friends last night. It was my second time here, and definitely my LAST!! I ordered the Rigatoni Al Tre Funghi, and within an hour of eating, I started feeling extremely sick. My stomach has been in pain since, and I barely slept last night. I've spent most of today in bed feeling awful. Whatever was in that dish did not sit right -- and it's beyond disappointing to pay for food that ends up making you ill. As if the food wasn't bad enough, the service was horrendous. The waiter kept bumping into me multiple times and didn't once apologize. At one point, they squeezed another table so close to me -- literally about 5 inches away -- without warning or asking. I was completely blocked in and had a hard time getting out. That's not just inconsiderate, it's dangerous in case of an emergency. When we were paying, I politely asked if they accepted Apple Pay. Instead of giving a simple answer, the waiter rudely gestured at me with his hand as if to say "shh" while taking another one of my friends' credit card -- completely ignoring me. That kind of dismissive behavior is unacceptable. It takes two seconds to say "one moment" or "no, we don't." Between the awful food, getting suck, and the disrespectful, careless service -- I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money somewhere that values their customers and their health.

The food is bomb and the wait staff are so attentive! I've been here on several occasions (birthdays, graduations, date nights, just because!) and have had a great experience every time. We're usually serviced by an older gentleman who is great every time - it's literally a pleasure to see the waitstaff every time. Also, I should add I'm not a huge fan of Italian food altogether - I don't like pasta very much. This is the only Italian place I'll frequent. Love it and would totally recommend!

Visited Farfalla for the 1st time for a co-worker's b-day dinner! It's on the corner of the intersection, and you can valet-park at a nearby lot or try street parking. At 7:30pm on a Saturday, I was able to find a few spots on the side streets. The restaurant's quaint and offers indoor & outdoor seating. I recommend putting in a reservation ahead of time; we did, and we were a group of 7 and got to sit indoors. I tried a couple of appetizers, including the Bruschetta Al Pomodoro, which looked and tasted like a crisp flatbread with lots of tomato; and Calamari Fritti (not pictured), which was your standard, lightly golden calamri with arrabiata sauce on the side. My entree was the Gnocchi Di Patate with pesto. The gnocchi was pillowy goodness, but I wish I got a different sauce or added protein because although the pesto was delicious, it got saltier and more oily over time. The gnocchi was super filling though! Overall, the ambiance and food were good - fit for a dinner party. Service was alright, albeit on the slower side. If going on a weekend night and/or peak times, then expect to wait a bit until you can order and eat. Also, do order all your items together. Our waiter disappeared on us for a while after the appetizers & drinks were ordered/served, so we didn't get our entrees until about an hour after the appetizers & drinks.

This is our go-to for our weekly pizza night. I'm a fan of thin crust pizza, and they do a great job. They make a good classic pizza margherita, a nice sausage pizza (with or without arugula, depending on your preference), and a really tasty pesto and goat cheese pizza. If you want to be really wicked, order the four cheese pizza - it's intense. The Caesar salad is really good, and they also make a nice grilled vegetable dish. And my favorite part - they have the nicest delivery guys in the world!

November 2022 - Party of 4, Friday night reservation for 4:30pm. The place was pretty empty at this time. Food/Pricing - 4 stars for the food!! Everything we ordered, from the calamari to the pasta, delicious! Calamari Fritti - $16.95 - Crispy and the sauce went very well with it! Highly recommend squeezing lemon in there if you enjoy a bit of sour. Pollo Ruspante - $27.95 - Half Chicken was juicy, skin crispy, and tasty! Veggies were yum and the roasted potatoes were crispy as well. Taglioni Cozze E Vongole - $25.95 - Delicious! Creamy and just wonderful! Rigatoni Ai Tre Funghi - $23.95 - Delicious! Service/Ambiance - Alright now the fun stuff, the service. Solid 2 stars. When the server first greeted us, he had a plastic toothpick/dentistick sticking out of his mouth while saying "hi guys, how're you doing today?". It was honestly very disappointing, disgusting, and unprofessional. No mask? Fine. Toothpick/whatever sticking out of your mouth? Absolutely not fine. Then when our half chicken came out, we weren't warned that the plate was hot until much after he placed the plate down. By then a member of our party had already tried to push the plate further into the table (cuz it was placed poorly) and exclaimed "ow, f***!!". The server reiterated it was hot and just left. Didn't seem to care or ask if she was fine. She wasn't by the way and spent the next 20 minutes or so soaking her burned fingers in her ice water. Still no care from the server. They also rush to take plates away in a frenzy and don't bother asking if you still need them. With the price point I expected much better service. I love the cozy atmosphere and that the staff seemed to get along well with one another but I noticed them chatting with each other often and felt the service could've been more attentive and professional. Parking - Parking is limited but if you look hard enough there's free street parking! Some is metered of course.

I had dinner at Farfalla recently with a friend and it was very good meal. It is a bit pricey, but the food and the service was great, so I feel it was worth it. I had the Chicken Piccata with mashed potatoes and my friend had a steak. The chicken piccata was delicious and my friend said the steak was very yummy as well. We split the arugula salad and were very happy with that. The servers were delightful, very attentive and helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. I highly recommend Farfalla.

My lady and I were going to a concert at the Greek Theater and wanted to have dinner close by so we wouldn't be late. I found this place on YELP and decided to give it a try. Even though it was a Sunday afternoon, we were seated immediately. Our waiter brought us fresh bread with olive oil with garlic and little tomatoes which was an excellent start. Since we were pressed for time, we chose our meals quickly starting with a Caprese Salad that was made with fresh tomatoe slices and homemade creamy mozzarella cheese. I had the lasagna and my girl ordered the penne pasta. The sauce was super delicious and the pasta cooked perfectly on both dishes. Even the Parmigian cheese that our waiter sprinkled over our pasta was real cheese, not that powder type. The ambiance was a little busy due to the fact that this seems to be a very family friendly establishment. As you walk in to be seated, you will see the cooks super busy making the meals which is a different but pleasant surprise and our waiter was very attentive. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Farfalla Trattoria, located in Los Feliz, is my favorite restaurant in L.A. Cozy atmosphere, fantastic Italian dishes and friendly servers. I order the Rigatoni Ai Tre Funghi pretty much every time I dine here. Amazing with a glass of house Cabernet. Highly recommended!

This place has been here forever, so I finally tired it. The inside is warm and dark and outside truly has no ambiance. The food is extremely oily. The salad was fine.

We were in the area and enjoying Griffith Observatory. We did a search and found this restaurant and it was close and had good ratings. We arrived and parking was difficult as it is street parking. We entered and were immediately greeted with friendly service and seated to our table. We made our food selections after looking over all the delicious items on the menu. We had to ask for water and then after finishing our order, we were delivered bread. Our food came quickly and the Santino, spaghetti and meatballs, and raviolis were absolutely delicious. The bread was also delicious. However, we wanted to have more bread, but it was not delivered. We had to then also asked for water to refill our cups. Service was friendly, but sometimes slow. If we're back in the area we would go there again.

I had a confirmed dinner reservation for Valentine's Day at 7:15, through Resy. I received a text message the day before asking me to confirm, which I did. I received another text reminder an hour before my reservation. We arrived promptly at 7:15 and there was a long line of people waiting for tables. I stepped inside to check in for my reservation and was told by a very irritated host that we needed to step outside and wait in line for a table with everyone else, reservations or not. So we left and managed to get two seats at the bar in a great Mexican restaurant that recently opened nearby (Encanto). Honestly, we owe a debt of gratitude to the rude host at Farfalla for helping us discover Encanto. Farfalla's food has always been marginal, at best. But it's on a charming block in Los Feliz with several great restaurants nearby. My advice is to skip Farfalla and book a table at one of these great new places that have opened up and down that stretch of Hillhurst, including Cirvico 2064 and Encanto. If you want more casual old school Italian, Little Dom is just a few doors down and it's a neighborhood gem. Alcove is also a highly recommended restaurant, bar and bakery nearby.

I haven't even left the table yet that's how much I needed to leave a review. Stumbled in this place on a whim with my friend and we had some of the best Italian food in Los Feliz. Great food, great portions, fantastic service. Can't wait for dessert.

The food was AMAZING, you must try the calamari the best thing there. Service is really well, the only reason why I didn't give a 5 star was because the wait WAS TERRIBLE, it took us about 45 minutes to get our pasta, I felt that was pretty bad. Very cute decor but stuffy inside like not spacious enough for me so we sat outside and that was much better

Horrible service. We had a reservation. The restaurant was packed and overbooked. When I went up to the server to let him know we arrived he said move to the side lady we are busy and waved me of in a very agitated manner. No one checked in with us. The cashier said it wasn't her job. People were getting seated with reservations past our time and people were waiting over 20-30 minutes past their reservation trying to get someone's attention. I've never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. Will not go back and we left and had a very nice dinner somewhere else with good service.

I hadn't been to Farfalla in quite some time, but let me tell you, I am so glad we went back!! First and foremost, our server Eduardo was amazing. He was so kind and provided great options and recommendations for us. We started with the bruschetta and a bottle of Lambrusco, then ordered our own individual dishes. Everything that came out tasted fresh and delicious and at the end of the meal Eduardo asked if we'd be willing to try another Lambrusco offering they had and let him know what we thought. Of course we accepted the offer and loved the second bottle even more than the first. Overall it was a great experience and will be my first choice when I'm wanting an Italian food evening in the neighborhood! They made us feel so special and so glad to be gathering together for dining in person again!

Overall had a good experience here for dinner last night. The food was pretty good but not the best Italian food I'd ever had. My partner and I were seated quickly (as in right when we walked in the door, although they asked to switch tables about 15 minutes into being seated) and food was served in a timely manner. I ordered the spicy penne alla vodka and he got the lasagna. Both were good but steaming hot when served which made it a little difficult to eat. In case you are like me and love vodka sauce, it is very spicy! The kick comes at the end, and was a little bit more than I can handle and I typically order spicy vodka sauce. They were serving free rosemary focaccia bread which was lovely since I had wanted to try it, but one word of caution the bread is much more a hard thin pizza crust then your typical fluffy soft focaccia! Overall I will definitely come back to try more of the dishes as it is a nice neighborhood spot and has an extensive menu!

It was easy to get a reservation on a Friday night, but as it got later (around 8 pm) there was more of a wait for tables. All of the pastas and pizzas can be made gluten-free which is always nice to see. I had a gluten-free pizza and the crust wasn't burnt & wasn't too doughy - which can be a problem with gf pizza. Very pleasantly surprised.

We are staying in the area from out of town and located the restaurant on the Yelp map. Famished after a long day of travel and sightseeing, the bread with olive oil, pasta and aauteed spinach really hit the spot! Pastas were cooked al dente, sauces with vegetables were fresh and the plates steaming hot. Sautéed spinach was not too garlic-y and not too oily. Staff were really nice and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely return!

Restaurants come and go in Los Feliz but Farfalla is a staple and so good. True Italian Food, Great Quality, Cozy Dining, Great Delivery, and Friendly Staff!!!!

WOW WOW WOW! That's all i can say about Farfalla. From the cozy setting to the service to the food! Everything was top notch! We had reservations for 8 pm and got seated quickly. It was a bit chilly but the heat tower thing was on and it made the ambiance enjoyable. Our waiter was amazing!!!! Super attentive and helped us choose our food. We were a party of 4 and split two appetizers and each got our individual plate. For starters they gave us bread and olive oil. The olive oil had roasted peppers and garlic! Delicious we made our own little spread with balsamic vinegar. If you've never had it try it! The bread was warm and crunchy. For appetizers we order the calamari and pizza! Both equally delicious! I forgot to take pictures of the menu but this gives me more of a reason to go back I wish i remembered the name of my wine all i know i wanted a bottle to take home. Our total bill was around $150 which i believe is reasonable because that includes the wine
