Authentic Trattoria with excellent service. It opens at 13.00 (not 12.00 as shown on Google). I had the seafood soup with mussels in a tomato marinare (gorgeous) with bread to mop up the sauce - enough as a main course. I then had donkey with roast potatoes. It's served as a thin steak still pink inside (so medium rare - western speak) and potatoes i couldn't have done better myself. Food served with fresh herbs and love. House red wine (0.5 ltr) excellent. Secada as desert with an expresso. A must visit for anyone wanting authentic Sardinian food. Thank you for the friendly service and understanding of my terrible Italian pronunciation. Love this restaurants authenticity.

This place wasn’t on our agenda but it turned out to be the best surprise of the day. Beautifully unpretentious and charming. And yes, the food was superb. Simple and yet prepared with care and pride.

Very welcoming and down to earth local food. Try the sample for two, which includes the local delicacy "lumache."

Used to be one of my favorite places in town: authentic, friendly and down to earth. Unfortunately the quality dropped since my last visit: the bread was stale, the food is still ok but nothing special. The whole place looked dirtier and more cluttered than the previous time. Is still not bad but used ro be way better.

One of the best Fregola dishes I had anywhere in Sardinia. It was spicy and delicious. The rest of the menu was pretty unique and interesting as well. Would definitely return

This place was not easy to find, but really worth it; like a treasure hunt. Hidden in the grotto of a palazzo, this family owned and operated risto was more like a private dining room, very welcoming. The perfect place to first experience Sardo fare. Grilled halves of eggplant that are then roasted, crispy outside, soft and creamy inside, served with marinated artichoke hearts that are warmed in the oven, and fava beans in a creamy pecorino. We were wowed. A must for anyone visiting Sassari.
