"Tree Story can be hard to find among all the stores and restaurants that make up the Park Village Shopping Center in Duluth. But before you get overwhelmed, just look to the right of Super H Mart. The interior is cute and colorful, and there’s a separate seating area where students and remote workers can find quiet space. Take a book to read from their bookshelf, sip some honey ginger tea, and nibble on pastries such as the red bean bun or chestnut manju. Like the other Korean bakeries in the area, they also offer bingsu, a shaved ice dessert with different choices in toppings. Yet, Tree Story remains our area favorite because their calming, cozy atmosphere is a reprieve for the bustling shopping center." - candy hom

"Buford Highway-adjacent Tree Story is far more than a bakery or even a restaurant – rather, it’s an emporium of Korean sweets like saccharine red bean donuts and roll cakes slathered with thick cream. Coffee, tea, wi-fi, and sandwiches are a great excuse to stick around for hours, and everything for sale is packaged for grab-and-go ease." - Sarra Sedghi

Google
Amazing Korean bakery experience. The pastries and breads tasted amazing. Everything we got tastes fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back every time I visit Atlanta. Don’t skip this place.

Google
The bakery items are definitely worth a try! There is a variety of Korean treats as well as beverages here that are all so good! The service here was also nice. I really like coming here after going grocery shopping or simply just hanging out. The cafe itself is a little small on the inside but nonetheless cozy!

Lauren (Rose)

Google
Cafe right next to H Mart, with an array of cakes and pastries 🥐 full coffee menu as well. Plenty of seating , can sit and chat or study

Google
The bingsu (Korean shaved ice) here is so good. IMHO it is the best bingsu I’ve had. We usually get the red bean with strawberries added. They also have mango. Even though it doesn’t have many different kinds of fruit, it beats bingsus with assorted fruit from other cafes. Perfect balance of textures and flavors.

Google
Delicious coffee, I ordered a cappuccino. I got different types of cakes and all I got was good and my kids loved them. They aren’t too sweet. It’s perfect.

Google
The bakery is so pretty and has a calming atmosphere . I got a slice of the mocha cake and it was good. Not too sweet, just perfect 🤩

Google
The price of red bean shaved ice restaurant is a bit expensive, but the taste is okay. Even though it is said to be large, I feel that the size is a little small, but the taste is not bad.

Google
Cute spot! The staff were nice and helpful. Prices are pretty average for a Korean bakery. The red bean bingsoo was delicious.

Yelp
Before we left Atlanta to go back home to Jacksonville, we decided to stop by one last Asian pastry shop. I've been here a few years ago and didn't remember much of how things tasted but I'm so happy we came back! The shop was very cozy upon walking in and the customer service was great!! We went early in the morning so they were just finishing up baking some sausage and pizza/cheese buns! The lady at the register was pleasant, sweet, and cheerful, unlike other Asian bakeries that we've been to, where the customer service was lacking. I believe this is a Korean bakery. We bought a few things to try: Sausage bun: 8/10 - this was my husband's rating as it was his choice of pastry. He loves savory pastries more than sweet ones. He finished it in literally 5 minutes! He said it was really really delicious. Mochi bun with red bean: 10/10 - Out of all the buns I've tried this past weekend, this was my favorite one! The slight crispy edges of the bun married with the mochi/red bean filling was everything that I wanted and more! The pastry itself wasn't too sweet and I loved the consistency of the filling. The filling was I believe, red bean wrapped around a layer of mochi and it had that signature mochi stretch. I would definitely come back for this pastry, over and over again. Melon bun: 9/10 - I bought this for a friend back home and he said that was his favorite pastry out of all the ones I got him. He had no complaints. I can't rate on the flavor though as I haven't tried it. Rating is purely on his thoughts. Sopporo cream bun: 8.0/10 - again, I didn't get to try this one but my husband had it for breakfast the following day and it must have been great because he ate and left no crumbs. Pizza and cheese bun: 8/7/10 - I loved this one! It tasted exactly like I was eating a pizza but in a bun form. The flavors reminded me of an extra cheese pizza. Curry Croquette: 9/10 - What a delicious bun! Japanese curry is one of my favorite dishes and this tasted exactly like that! I love the umami flavor and found myself enjoying and savory each and every little bite. If you don't like the taste or smell curry, then I wouldn't get this bun as the flavor and spices could be strong for you. I love a kick in your face kind of flavor when it comes to curries and this one exceeded my expectations. They have other goodies you can purchase too like dalgona candy. We got a dalgona candy to put in our latte at home! They also have a cafe items such as coffees, refreshers, cold brews, lattes, etc. I'll come back and try the cafe items when I'm back in the area for sure! Definitely a solid Asian bakery to check out and I would say that out of the bakeries that I tried, this one will have to be my top 1. My rankings so far on the bakeries would be: 1). Tree Story 2). White Windmill 3). Sweet Hut 4). Mozart

Yelp
Vegan friendly and very allergen conscious. They list the ingredients in all their bakery goods on easy-to-read cards placed above the goods. Their staff is friendly and good at answering any questions you may have. The atmosphere is very relaxing and has a nice, low lighting that adds to the vibe. And everything I've tried has been unique and well-made! My only complaint is that there are only two bakery items that are vegan friendly (bean donut and mochi). I hope they add more.

Yelp
Cute little Korean bakery next to Hmart. They have a nice assortment of breads, pastries, coffes/teas. They even have a freezer with King of Pops popsicles. Excellent service.

Yelp
This is always a pit stop when I visit Duluth. Not only does this bakery house a HUGE selection of impressive pastries and drinks, it's super-comfy...just a great place to hang out! Again, I grabbed several pastries while here (mostly to take back home with me)...and this time, I also ordered a hot Green Latte. My disappointment came when this Matcha Latte was placed in a paper cup, instead of an actual coffee cup, complete with cafe art. Not sure if they gave up the coffee cups or the cafe art (like before in the past?)...but it just wasn't impressive. Luckily, the Matcha Latte tasted great. Still, for the lackluster presentation of the Matcha Latte, am docking a star. Just hoping they'll pick that back up in the future. Also, although the selection was still big, I noticed an incomplete display this time around. Maybe because I stopped in too early (around 9:30 amish?), but I ws thinking they'd have more, not less, at this early time of day. Guess for the first time ever, this was a tad disappointing of a visit. Still, it won't deter me from re-visiting...as this is probably in my Top 3 bakeries to visit while in Duluth. Still though, I was thinking, if this bakery was in Charlotte, NC, for instance, it would have been a bonafide 5-stars...but there are SO many premium bakeries in Duluth, this place isn't even 5 stars. WOW. Yes, even as a traveler in Duluth, I'm a bit spoiled with bakeries at this point.

Yelp
I've been to Tree Story Bakery & Cafe several times. This spacious Korean bakery has a wide selection of coffee, teas, and pastries. Unfortunately, I just haven't absolutely loved any particular beverages or baked items. This last time, I ordered the Jujube Tea, which had a sweet-tart flavor.

Eve R.

Yelp
A nice Korean bakery near the super HMart in Duluth. They had a wide selection of different bakery. Similar to Sweet Hut Bakery. Initially I wanted to try the bingsu (ice dessert with fruit toppings) but it was over $20 so not ready for that. Polite customer service. Great place to relax or study and meet up with friends.

Chelsea G.

Yelp
Vast variety of Korean pastries, filled with different flavors and texture galore. The interior is cozy and welcoming ~ you'll want to stick around for a little if you're visiting. Things you should know: I. LOCATION Within the HMart plaza (off to the right). There's free private parking out front ~ very easy. II. SERVICE Friendly. They'll greet you as soon as you walk in the door. III. QUALITY They bake fresh pastries everyday, making the crunchy texture in the streusel bread perfect. I like this business because they have a 30% off section; this minor detail is nice because it proves the cafe only displays fresh pastries in the aisles and that they don't waste older ones by throwing them in the trash. IV. CAPACITY Slow in the early morning but by mid-morning the seats start to really fill up.

Jen L.

Yelp
I got the custard bun and the injeolmi bun! The custard bun bread part was super fluffy and really yummy! The custard was on a little thick and a little too sweet for my liking but I was able to scrape some of it off. The injeolmi bun was amazing! The cream was super soft and light and I loved the red bean paste inside as well. The injeolmi dusting on top helped reinforce the flavor. Both buns altogether were about $5 which was perfectly reasonable for the two!

Chris K.

Yelp
The Korean patbingsoo is a must try here. The cleanest bakery in Atlanta, next to h-mart

Amanda M.

Yelp
If you're looking for traditional Korean bakery treats, Tree Story has it! They have such a wide arrangement of breads, buns, cakes, macarons, and drinks. I loaded up on buns to last me the rest of my trip. They had both sweet and savory options. It's self serve which could be dangerous, but they do display the prices so you know how much damage you're doing. This is a great spot with so many restaurants around and an H Mart for shopping nearby. Do yourself a favor and try it!

Melinda C.

Yelp
Best bingsu I've had! It is on the sweeter side but that's just how I like it, the coffee bun pastry is nice and light, and the only thing I wasn't a fan of were their smoothies. My daughter ordered a strawberry smoothie and my husband got the taro with boba. The boba itself was mediocre but the smoothies were more ice than flavor. I do want to try the teas at one point. The service was okay... the ladies were not openly friendly nor were they rude. They kept to the minimum of taking my order. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean. I love the art work on the main wall. They get a plus for having children's books available in a cart near the front door. I would come back for another visit.

Yelp
If you are looking for an inviting vibe and delicious baked goods, go visit Tree Story Bakery and Cafe! This Asian bakery is spacious, bright, organized and airy. As soon as I walked in, I smiled and my eyes lit up when I saw all the variety of goodies displayed! I love how there is a label that displays the ingredients for each baked goods. People with food allergies will appreciate that! As for the baked goods themselves, they are scrumptious! The black rice bread with their sweet butter will elicit a yummy from you for sure. Their egg sandwich was delicious without being overly seasoned. Everything I bought was worth the $75 I spent. So if you are looking for a great bakery to take your friends and family, that has good food, drinks, and ambiance, I recommend you take them there!

Yelp
I visited Tree Story pretty frequently in 2020 thanks to my dad's monthly dental appointments in the plaza next door. During COVID, I was definitely grateful to find Tree Story open and still baking up a storm. I've been a big fan of the iced coffee - they called it a Ice Story Coffee. It's pre-mixed with cream and sugar and quite tasty. However, if you don't prefer too much cream or sugar in your coffee, I wouldn't recommend because you can't adjust the sugar or cream level. The prices haven't changed - as in, they are still quite pricey in comparison to other Korean bakeries in the area. My parents kept griping about it after we saw the total cost after paying for all the bread we bought. Even so, I won't forget breathing in the fragrance of butter and freshly baked bread through my mask at Tree Story. If you're willing to pay for it, Tree Story is one of the better Korean bakeries in the area. I'm just a bit upset that the Doraville location shut down...

Sue K.

Yelp
Plenty of parking, since it is in the same shopping plaza as Hmart. I don't know how I have never been here yet! There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The inside is nice and spacious and would be a good place to study/work. Lots of different variety of breads available as well as cake. They do have drinks as well! I picked up a few breads: sesame bread, green bean, red bean, fresh cream. All of them tasted delicious! The mocha cake was good was well! They do provide candles. Looking forward to trying more :)

Eustina K.

Yelp
My 3 star review is solely based on the bingsoo. Overall, this place is a standard Korean bakery. The selection of pastries aren't mindblowingly creative or tasty but they still hit the spot. But you could probably find the same things at other Korean bakeries. The bingsoo tho.... it's SO OVERPRICED. I can't believe a shaved ice dessert costs $20. Yes, it was big enough to share between 3 people but but I would rather have a little less and pay less lol. The bingsoo tasted pretty average too. I recommend you come here for pastries but go somewhere else for bingsoo, it's not worth the money.

Kaitlin K.

Yelp
This is my favorite bakery! We always get the green bean buns, the blueberry roll cakes and the honey plum tea. It is spacious on the inside and there are plenty of seats to relax in, unlike many bakeries around. I love the decor and the mural on the wall too. Service is fast and friendly. Very highly recommended!

Lindsay W.

Yelp
This place is super cute! There are tons of breads and pastries pre-wrapped to choose from. The butterfly cookies remind me of bow tie cookies from when I was a child. We came here for an afternoon treat. They have a few different cakes by the slice to choose from and offered some coffee and tea options. There was also ice cream and KoP. We had the mocha cake, strawberry and fresh cream, and the chocolate dome. The strawberry and fresh cream was my favorite! It was so light and airy. I wish it had fresh strawberries, but it was great. The other two were also really good. The dome crust was very hard though. I wish it was easier to cut thru since we were sharing. I had an iced tree house coffee with had cream and sugar. It was tasty, but a bit too sweet. The iced vanilla latte was good too. There is tons of seating available which was nice.

Suhana E.

Yelp
The atmosphere is whimsical. They have lot of pastries to choose from as well as coffees and teas. I've tried their custard cream bread ($2.19) and vanilla macaroon ($2.49). The bread was soft and spongy and buttery with generous custard filling- absolutely delicious. I will get this again. The macaroon was very good but it was rock hard which shouldn't be. Macaroons are supposed to be soft and buttery (Vincent Bakery has perfect macaroons!). That was disappointing which is why I scored 4. If macaroon was soft and right then it would be a 5. Nonetheless I will still return to try their many other delectable items.

Amber B.

Yelp
I got the Tiramisu soufflé pancakes, and they were good! cute spot!! nice for hanging with friends!

Addy C.

Yelp
Their Pat Bing Soo is a crazy $20.35 now ... darn that inflation. It is a large size and definitely great for sharing ... however super disappointed in the 25-min wait time, and then waiting that long for pat bing soo that was very average tasting. I did feel sorry they had just two guys working there, and they did look like they were working hard ... I have to assume they are having staffing shortage issues like everyone else. We picked the red bean version, and the dessert was mostly a huge pile of shaved ice that didn't have the snow texture like other Korean cafes and wasn't sweet at all (although looked like they were pouring milk into the shaved ice machine), then topped with sweet red bean (from a big can ... lol I was matching them make it), some mochi, one scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. I'd recommend getting their pastries instead - no extra wait time is a bonus :)

Yoomee H.

Yelp
Wow! So it has been a very long time since I last visited here. I came here with my mom and brother. My mom had a regular hazelnut coffee (black with no sugar or cream). I had ordered the Affogato. It was delicious~! I would get it, again if it weren't so expensive! I forgot how much I paid for this but I think it was around five dollars! The employees working there were friendly and nice! That's the kind of thing I like. I like it when they're welcoming to their guests! The interior still looked the same as before. The restroom was also clean which was a plus for me! I didn't get any sweets, bread or cakes this time.. just beverages.. well unless you count the Affogato as a sweet. And yes, I would come here, again.

Sylvia B.

Yelp
Loved the fruit bing su here!! Portion was pretty big. It was around ~$10 (Note: the fruit bingsu comes only in the bowl size ...not cup) Originally I wanted the cup size because I wouldnt be able to eat a majority of it myself but they showed me the sign that says the cup size would only be red bean flavor. But I wanted the fruit so I ordered that in the bowl size. It was pretty yummy - 2 scoops of ice cream, lychee jelly, mochi, fruit slices and corn flakes. The ice part melted pretty quickly. There are a lot of seating inside and there are a few tables by the outlet as well.

Yi H.

Yelp
This bakery has so many selections! and they are all so delicious. Definitely my new favorite bakery in Atlanta/Doraville/Duluth. I loved the mini rice donuts (so chewy!) and the injeolmj cream bun. It's located right next to HMArt so I highly recommend you stop by if you're in the plaza area

Taylor K.

Yelp
Highlights: Variety of options that are different from other Korean bakeries, great location We got: - Red bean mochi streusel: was okay. I've never heard of any bakeries with bbang (bread) with mochi. There wasn't enough mochi or red bean to taste them enough... more bread than anything. - cream/custard streusel: LOVE the custard especially because it's not overwhelmingly sweet. LOVE how the flavor is there without trying to kill my teeth. - mini rice donuts: I think we got them fresh but tasted a bit stale. My husband disagreed. He thought they were fresh and delicious. I recommend getting them FRESH FRESH. - layered cake: very spongy, soft texture. It's not American style so if that's what you're looking for, this ain't it. It's not too sugary, just the perfect amount of sweetness Overall, i appreciate that they don't overdo their sugar. A lot of bakeries and sweets tend to bake with a butt load of sugar. This place has a lot of variety and new items compared to other Korean bakeries I've been to. The only downside is that they didn't have that many drink items to choose from. Other than that, I'd say 9 Gryffindor points out of 10.

Yelp
I visited Tree Story Baker & Cafe on Saturday, January 24, 2021 around 7pm. This is the second time I visited this establishment only to be met with disappointment. We called ahead of time asking if they served bingsoo, which they responded "yes." By the time we got there they said that they don't serve bing soos 1 hour to closing. That information could have been useful when said through the phone.... The first time, they said the machines were down. Maybe 3rd time's the charm?

Tae Kyung Y.

Yelp
Tree Story is located next to the Duluth Hmart, which is a plus for location. Unfortunately, there aren't many times that I crave Tree Story. Nothing is spectacularly good there and I don't really crave anything from there. I will have to say, however, I am a huge fan of their salad bread and you can probably only get it in the AM time as it's one of their best sellers and runs out quickly. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and I ordered the misootgaru. Misutgaru tasted kind of bland, but I do like my drinks a little sweeter. The people I was with tasted it and they said it tasted fine.. so who knows. I am always down to go to Tree Story, but I don't think I will ever be the one saying "let's go here." There are just better options around.

Ms. W.

Yelp
Was craving something sweet and decided to check out Tree Story. Lots of yummy baked goods to choose from. I got an interesting looking hot dog bun to snack on. It was yummy!

Sheela K.

Yelp
I love the buttercream cake rolls like I die for these they remind me of my childhood

Donny H.

Yelp
Fantastic Asian bakery! Nice environment and delicious treats. It's also a nice quiet place to study.

Freddie S.

Yelp
Great place Not ur traditional cake shop actually better.lol Their blueberry lemon cake is delicious.

Ismael Z.

Yelp
Food was delicious great flavors. Smoothie was delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and staff is very nice and they serve fast. I recommend the croquettes (AMAZING) and their mocha bread paired with a drink is delicious.

Marissa D.

Yelp
Every time we visit Georgia we HAVE to stop by this bakery and cafe. It's my #1 favorite. The tree story iced coffee is the best flavor iced coffee. I have yet to find one that even comes close! All the pastries and breads are delicious and light and fluffy. The macarons are amazing. The atmosphere is very cute and relaxing. Make it a point to stop in if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Jamarcus T.

Yelp
Fun Fact...Tree story Bakery & Cafe opens pretty early! I know this because on the way to campus, I wanted coffee and a snack. Tree Story actually was open at 7 am Saturday! Tree Story is a decently sized Korean owned Bakery shop that had rows and rows of freshly made pastries and sweets. I grabbed their 6 pack of cream cheese rolls ($3.60), and a Vanilla Latte ($4.30). The latte was pretty good, not sugary sweet, which I was kinda fearful of, but i'd definitely order it again. The cream cheese rolls were a little underwhelming. I thought that they would be nicely filled with cream cheese. Instead there was just a very thin layer of cream cheese that was almost impossible to taste. The rolls were hollowed out and they tasted really doughy. I only had two of them before I gave them away to friends. Customer service was just fine, although their selections were limited early in the morning, since they didn't have any of the sausage breads so many have reviewed about, but that's okay. Located right next to H Mart off of pleasant hill road, this place can probably get crazy busy in terms of traffic, but at this early time of day I didn't have any problems at all with a parking spot. There is a red light exit and a couple of other exits along pleasant hill road too. End of the day, if you like Korean/Asian bakeries, you're probably pretty familiar with what you'll get here. Decent bakery with flavors I enjoyed. A-okay spot to me!

Nancy O.

Yelp
Overall...a pleasant place to get some work done or meet up with friends! I first came to this cafe years ago. I vaguely remember anything about it then, but I'm glad I decided to stop in after almost a decade. We needed a place to study and get some stuff done so we decided to give this place a shot. A cute establishment with plenty of seats and cute baked goods I'm definitely looking forward to planning meet ups with friends here! Service: the cashiers can speak both Korean and English. So no worries feeling intimidated by a language barrier with these lovely ladies. The bakery portion of the store is a "serve yourself" style as it is with any other Korean bakery. Most of their baked goods are prepackaged, so you can just grab whichever ones you want and load them up on the basket they have up at the front for you. Only other baked goods you might need assistance with is probably the cakes and such, since they are kept behind the glass cases to keep cool. Food/Drinks: I haven't tried everything at this bakery, but from the few stuff picked up I was impressed with how fresh and moist the baked goods are. The drinks are pretty good and the coffee seems popular as almost all the patrons had ordered coffee for themselves. The prices tend to run a little higher, but this is only because the baked goods are made in house. Since I wasn't feeling coffee I ordered a Iced Honey Plum tea, usually made hot, I personally just prefer it cold. It was served to me with light ice, which I didn't even have to ask for. The drink was actual too sweet so I think they put too much of the tea syrup into the drink. I had to wait for the ice to melt down so it would water down the drink a bit. We also ordered the Black Milk tea, where apparently it can be ordered thicker like a smoothie or served with ice. We decided to just do the ice and it was pretty okay. 4/5- because it's a decent spot to meet up with friends or study. There are limited outlets, so I would recommend maybe bringing an extension cord. This place is always filled with patrons stopping in for a quick pick me up and meeting up with friends. But for the most part, everyone is in and out so if you're just willing to wait a few minutes a table should open up. A cute addition they have is that they have a small bookcase up at the front to allow patrons to read. There seems to be a good mix of books in Korean and English so it's definitely a unique feature.

Cathy P.

Yelp
Need a bubble tea fix or a baked treat? Tree Story has a nice selection of both. If you are at the Hmart next door then come here for the bubble tea. Ordered the Black Tea Smoothie and it had the right combination of flavor and ice blended together. It could use more Boba but I thought this was in the sweeter side than most places. I tried the egg custard inside a bread shell and it was delicious. The bread was soft and fresh. The display of their treats were nicely done as well and the place was busy. It is so hard to decide what to order so I'll be back.

Stephanie V.

Yelp
I've had some of their pastries a few months ago and knew that I had to make a stop when I was coming to Georgia. Came in twice on the way in and leaving. If you have the chance you have to come in for the crispy toast that they have called Lask Italian biscotti. Imagine toast with butter and sugar toasted really crispy. It is on the sweet side but it goes well with a nice cup of coffee. They have other varieties of baked goods such as sponge cake, breads, cakes and they also offer babingsoo (Korean shaved ice) I tried the sponge cake and it was nice and moist not too sweet which is nice. They also offer coffee and teas it seems like it would be a nice place to study after covid is over! I will be back whenever I am in the area.

Lisa P.

Yelp
I've recently become a regular and wish I had done so sooner. Lately I've been ordering the red bean paste doughnut and small coffee. ( a little under $5 for both) They carry Intelligensia coffee and lately the Frequency blend which tastes like chocolate. The sweet rice doughnut comes in two sizes. I like the smaller size, shaped like a small round ball. It's really delicious. I've also ordered their cappuccino and latte. Depending on who is behind the bar you may get more foam on your latte than you normally. Most of my visits are in the morning. There may be anywhere between 2-6 customers. The staff always greets me when I walk in, which I appreciate. All and all it's a cool place.

Donna A.

Yelp
LOVED my bingsu at Tree Story! The red bean bowl comes with a variety of toppings including cereal, mochi, and fruits, plus two scoops of ice cream. One of the best I've had in ATL! I do wish there was a bit more choice in flavors of shaved ice and toppings. However, what they have they seem to do well.

Roberta L.

Yelp
Wandered in here while at the Korean grocery (Zion's) where it's located, so glad I did! I've eaten at several Asian bakeries but the two items I tried here were delicious and far better than any other place. I had the garlic bread, not knowing it had a cream cheese with garlic and sugar filling. It it sweet, garlicky, and salty - no doubt one of the best sinful breads I've eaten in a long time. I also tried the pack of pastries made with a whole roasted chestnut inside. It was rich and had a creamy flavor, delicious.

Jackie S.

Yelp
A client of our company got us some bakery goods today. Everything is so good. It was freshly baked in the morning. The bag was still warm and not even sealed yet since it was still warm. I love the red bean bun the most. I love breads and pastries and prefer less fillings but these buns are loaded with fillings. I got to try the bread with a cold salad inside a few years back. It was so delicious so I hope to come back one day to eat it again.

Yelp
Love Tree Story. It is pretty much like a cafe straight out of Korea with dozens of different pastries and coffee and even Korean Tea. There's classical music and plenty of Koreans hanging out and catching up. It gave me a strong memory of living in Seoul. My red bean walnut pastry was pretty tasty and my citron tea was great. I'd definitely go back!

Yelp
We stopped by for dessert after a yummy dinner at Jang Su Jang. The mister originally wanted ice cream, but immediately turned to the cakes once we arrived. We got a slice each of the tiramisu and the Oreo mousse cakes. The tiramisu was a bit bland for my taste (not enough coffee/sweetness), but the Oreo cake was delicious! He, of course, ended up devouring both. The prices were a bit high, but it was great to sample a slice instead of buying a whole cake. For a bakery though, they didn't seem to have as many bread options as other Korean bakeries. The ladies at the cafe were sweet and we would probably return for more options.

Yelp
After making a trip to Super H Mart we decided to give Tree Story a try. The ambiance is nice and they follow safety protocol. This has been the best Cafe Mocha I've ever tasted it's creamy and rich in cocoa flavor I substituted the milk with almond milk :)

Yelp
Ordered a medium sized fruit cake with peach filling for my mom's birthday. I ordered it on a Monday for pick up on Saturday. It was ready on time and personalized. I was concerned that the cake may be dry based on previous reviews, but it was far from dry. It was great! Cake was light and fluffy. The cream was light as well. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
We decided to come here for a chill breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with how relaxing our time here was. I've come her many many times in the past but this was the first time i've been to a bakery since quarantine and I was not disappointed! I tried their new cream cheese garlic bread that i've seen all over the internet, cream bread, a roll cake/castella kind of bread, and their sweet potato bread. My mom got a mocha latte and everything tasted so so good! The interior is very spacious and spread out so we didn't have to worry about being too close to anyone and got to choose wherever we wanted to eat. The workers and manager were also very helpful in describing and recommending us new items we've never seen before. This place is a must if you enjoy carbs as much as I do ;)

Yelp
We came 2 times during our trip . First time around 7 so most of their bakery was limited or sold out . The second time we came around 10am so there was plenty of bakery left . Very spacious for students . I particularly like the crocettes here .

Yelp
My mother-in-law loves this bakery above all the others she has visited in the area because of a specific cake that is split with cream and jam in the middle and a powdery sweet crumble on the top and bottom of the bread. I've never written the name of it down, so that's the best explanation I can give of it. It's a very good bread, and the other offerings were pretty decent too, but I don't love it as much as I love White Windmill in Nukoa (yes, even after the terrible remodel to appeal to moms!). Thankfully, this location is right next to H-Mart, so I was able to take my toddler out of the bakery where she was making a nuisance of herself and into a supermarket to get wiggles out. In fact, location is probably what will keep this place on our radar now that my wife no longer gets her hair done at the Nukoa Plaza.

Yelp
Looking for some sweets after shilling at Hmart? This is your place. The storefront is just right of the main market and as soon as you open the door you are greeted with sweet smells. Most of their sweets on tables, setup with individual baskets etc, unlike sweet hut where everything is open and unwrapped in self serve shelves. We tried 3-4 different pastries that they were sampling next to the register. Everything is that take on Asian desserts with an American twist (ie red bean pastry) prices are great, most are around $2 or less each. I left with a big bag of goodies and they didn't even last 5 min when I got home. They have an espresso bar and ample seating if you want to bring your laptop and surf the net.

Yelp
I have stopped here twice so far and during both visits, the staff here has been very consistent and very friendly. I am very pleased with the customer service and quality. Last week I stopped here for a birthday cake, but was able to try a slice first as they sell slices of all of the cakes. The forest cake here is outstanding, nice and moist sponge cake, velvet whipped cream frosting and topped with fresh fruit and slivered in chocolate. Ooh la la.... I actually thought this was a Korean cake, but it is actually a German dessert, though the Tree Story version does not have black cherries nor Kirschwasser. The bubble tea here is good as well. The prices here are slightly high, but with good quality products and attentive staff who are friendly, the price is worth it. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the finer things. The inside of this store is very cute and I like the presentation of how they serve their cake, the bamboo tray is adorable I must admit. So far, five stars, which is based off their cake, bubble tea, presentation, customer service and atmosphere. [Review #338] (Ninety Eighth Review of 2015)

Yelp
Korean bakery and cakes. Lots of pastries and bread to choose from. Mask required to go inside. They also have coffees and bing su. Definitely need to go back and try the bing su and cakes. Due to covid no indoor seating only outdoor.
