Trejo's Tacos - Original Farmer's Market at Third and Fairfax

located inside the farmers market, theres always a crowd around trejos tacos. i was enticed by the long queue, and ordered the pork taco. the taco was served quickly, but the taste did not meet expectations. perhaps the crowd and queue had set my expectations high, but the pork was watery and tasteless, had to personally add some extra seasonings to get some flavour in my taco. overall the taco was just soggy and tasteless

I had trejos on my list to visit and ended up eating here for a quick pitstop. Got the carnita and fish tacos. Carnita was bland, fish taco was ok. But I didn't think the price to value was great. There's better I've had in la unfortunately so won't be a repeat for me.

An oasis in an otherwise vegan desert! We tried two of their three vegan tacos, jackfruit and mushroom, plus a v horchata. My partner also got a cheese quesadilla. Everything was fantastic! This is the kind of vegan taco I'd want everywhere, they had a crema and you could tell they actually gave each combo a lot of thought. Very generous portions too. We will be back.

Tacos were faded somehow. The meat felt like it still had water in it and absolutely NO flavour. I had the chicken and the beef tacos. Complete failure - I only ate the beef one as I was starving. Complete failure.

I'm a fan of Trejo but not his tacos. I have been skeptical to try and today I decided to give it a shot. It's crazy how fast they came out as soon as we order and turned the corner the buzzer went off. Not even 2 minutes and they were ready. Only the fish taco looked appealing. The tortillas were completely cold and the meat was slightly warm not even hot or freshly cooked. I would recommend going to the cantina for better tacos. These lack flavor and authenticness. As for the price you can expect to pay that being in the area it is just wished the quality was up to par.

I had an incredible fried chicken burrito bowl here. The staff were lovely and food wonderful. They have a salsa bar where you serve yourself which is a nice touch!

Beef barbacoa bowl was tasty, could have done with a crunchy texture (maybe fresh cabbage ??) but the corn and salsa was a highlight!

The food quality is commendable, although I would appreciate slightly larger portions given the price point. The chicken lacked a bit of flavor, but the sauces offered a delightful enhancement. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, with both the fish and steak delivering on taste and satisfaction.
