The 20 Best Bakeries In Seattle

"There’s nowhere in town that serves tres leches cake as terrific as Tres Lecheria, a takeout bakery in Wallingford where you can grab said cake in portable plastic containers. The tender dessert soaks up more milk than a horde of thirsty kittens, ribbons of piped whipped cream are essentially dairy-based clouds, and there are a ton of flavor options (like matcha, strawberry, or Mexican mocha) to keep things exciting. We’re fans of the subtle cinnamon kick in their horchata variation, but we can guarantee greatness with any tub of the stuff." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Best Places to Get Cake Slices in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"Pastry Chef Kevin Moulder, a frequent face on TV baking competitions, converted his Wallingford cake shop Cubes Baking Co. into Tres Lecheria, a bakery devoted to the popular Latin American dessert, in 2019. The bakery’s classic tres leches slice is soft, creamy, and not overly sweet, and the horchata slice is also stellar, topped off with cinnamon whipped cream." - Kurt Suchman

I loved my Tres Leches traditional slice of cake. On this visit, we had a traditional and a coconut tres leches slices. Both were superb with a leches at the bottom and a nice sponge cake. Not too sweet at all like most cakes. If I had to give my Paul Hollywood critique I would say the coconut cake did not punch through and the flavor blended together. Overall an amazing addition to Wallingford.

On December 24, 2024, I visited Tres Lecheria and had the pleasure of trying their Full Strawberry and Traditional tres leches cakes. Both were absolutely incredible! The Full Strawberry was bursting with fresh, natural strawberry flavor, perfectly balanced with creamy richness. The Traditional was equally delightful, with a classic flavor that truly melted in your mouth. Neither cake was overly sweet, which made them even more enjoyable. The shop was spotless, and the cakes were beautifully presented. For just $35, the portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. If you’re craving a perfect tres leches cake, Tres Lecheria is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Google
I've tried a few flavors over the years and they've all been delicious and unique. Most recently, I tried the coconut tres leches for a friend's birthday. It was perfectly moist and sweet, balanced with a light whipped topping and toasted coconut flakes. I love that they sell individual slices as well as whole cakse.

I was in introduced to tres lecheria cake by Frelard tamales while I was at their older location. Order traditional, pistachio, horchata cakes. Tastes very very delicious. Ambience is lowkey cool. A must try if you are around. Each pop costs $9 and you really can’t beat these prices. Owner also mentioned cakes are available at PCC community markets as well.

Google
It was okay….. I ordered the traditional tres leches flavor for a party and it is not the same as the one from Mexico. Personally, it was too sweet for me which is disappointing. I think they might have over did it with the condensed milk and sugar. The real one from Mexico has a subtle sweetness that is not that overpowering. I think the Whole Foods tres leches is probably better than this place.

Google
The staff was very friendly and professional! I left a message that my friend birthday would be on Monday, but I needed to pick up the cake on Saturday. The staff gave me a call and asked if I would like it frozen for maximum freshness on Monday, and instructed me on thawing it in preparation for her birthday. The cake was a massive hit! The flavor is amazing! Thank you so much.

If you are in Seattle, you must try this traditional plate made using three milks. Tres Leches as we know it is a fixture in all of Latin American cuisine. In this cafe there is a big variety of flavors: strawberry,  pistachio, mocha... cakes are very light, with many air bubbles.

Google
got the traditional Tres Leches Cake this was straight up an incredible cake from the time i took my first bite, i was immediately surprised as to how flavorful this was the amount of milk soaked in this cake, and the amount that the cake absorbed, was unreal i'm pretty used to dry cakes at this point - so the cake being this wet was so unique when you think about a cake being wet, normally it's not a good thing, but in this case the surrounding milk had so much flavor, so much sweetness, that it gave each bite of the normally-boring cake inside an incredible taste speaking of the sweetness, this was an astoundingly sweet cake, maybe the sweetest cake i've ever had however, this wasn't sickly sweet - on the contrary the sweetness, combined with the milk flavor, created a powerful taste that was absolutely fantastic this place was also unique in the amount of milk used - there was so much that the bottom of the cake box was almost full of milk this had a disadvantage - that i'll get to later - but the advantage was that it drenched every part of the cake in that sweet milk goodness I'd never had tres leches cake before - so I didn't know what to expect - but I simply didn't expect a cake to be this flavorful, the result of pouring three types of milk over the finished cake The whipped cream icing on top also tasted pretty good what makes this cake great can really be seen when comparing it to other cakes other cakes have an inside that's light and fluffy - they have some flavor but the real flavor comes from the icing in this cake, due to the milk and sugar mixture that gets absorbed into the cake, each inside bite comes with that icing flavor + better with that said, this gets really close to a perfect score, but I can't give it that for a couple reasons Firstly, the icing is just whipped cream. Which is fine - it tasted good - but I can't help but think a real icing would've made this a lot better. The whipped cream is simply too airy and light to really taste like anything Secondly, the cake is simply too runny. I recognize this is part of what brings the flavor in, but the downside of this is when taking out slices of the cake (and not eating it directly from the box) the milk gets all over your plate and the texture isn't great. There's also just too much milk at the box in the end Overall, the most flavorful cake I've ever had. 9.75/10

Yelp
A small, quaint space that's meant mostly for grab-n-go. I opted for the Marionberry option as a dessert after dinner. Pricing wasn't horrible and it was very tasty!

Yelp
We love trying new places once a week, and this week, we decided to try Tres Lecheria to satisfy our sweet tooth. These cakes are made ready to purchase, so we were able to walk up to the refrigerator case and pick out the flavors we wanted. We ended up spending $36 total for 4 flavors: Mexican mocha, pandan, matcha, and dulce de leche. Digging out spoons into our first bite, we immediately noticed how soft the cake was. There was a good amount of milk pooled at the bottom, so we knew it was going to be a good bite. We were pleasantly surprised by how accurate the flavor descriptions were of each tres leches. It was also great that they weren't overwhelming sweet either. I was skeptical how well they would pull off the pandan flavor, but I thought they nailed it! My favorite was the dulce de leche, and I would definitely recommend this shop to others!

Yelp
Super cute spot that has amazing Tres Leches slices! Located in a small storefront near the University of Washington, this bakery is a gem! On a recent visit I was greeted warmly by the person at the counter. She entertained my endless questions about the beautiful artwork and the different flavors of cake. Tres Lecheria has definitely perfected an old favorite. Besides traditional tres leches slices, there are several different flavors to pick from. On this visit I decided to get Pistachio, Pumpkin Chai, Coconut, and Horchata. Another awesome thing that they offer is a punch card. If you get 8 slices, the 9th one is free. I didn't need another reason to come back for more, but the punch card is a sweet addition! The Pumpkin Chai was amazing! I devoured it as soon as I got home and it was super delish. I have no doubt the other flavors will be just as good. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Some places have a hella of a reputation for a darn good reason, and Tres Lecheria is squarely in this category. When you make one thing great, just keep making that one thing. Tres Lecheria, as the name implies, makes the famous tres leches - a sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk: evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whole milk. This cake is popular throughout Latin America. I am in multiple foodie groups, and when it comes to tres leches cake, there is only one reply - Tres Lecheria. They sell their milk-soaked cake slices precut and prepackaged in containers. Getting the traditional is a must. It is certainly not the only flavor. I eyed horchata, dulce de leche, sweet corn & honey, before I finally decided to go bonkers and got matcha. Honestly, traditional is the way to go. They also sell seasonal flavors. They are currently offering pumpkin chai and eggnog. Each of the small slices are $8. It is a weighty slice that takes two of us to finish. A whole cake is $35 for twelve slices. Need to pre-order online. Service is as swift as you want, or without anyone behind us, we b.s. a bit with the lady. The décor is cute with some tchotchkes for sale. Highly recommend!

Yelp
These people make the best tres leches cakes in Seattle!! They're so good at it, it's all they do. Freshly made and delicious !!

Yelp
More like 4.5 stars!!!! These cakes are amazing!!!!!! We heard of this place before but didn't really motivated to try as I'm super picky with cakes but these are on a different level. I love how moist it is We got 2 flavors: Traditional and marionberry: they were both delicious and had good flavoring. I think I learn though that it's definitely better to freeze it and eat if after because the cake is more stabilized, otherwise, the cake do get a little mushy from all the milk. That's just personal preference though because my husband loved both of them equally lol At ~$8 a piece I think it's a good price considering that it's a hefty cake. It's not the prettiest cake but the flavor makes up for it :)
google avatar

Ariella N.

Yelp
I would also give this place 4.5 stars, but would round up:) It's a cute little tres leches shop in Wallingford. There's no other place like it. I was really craving a strawberry cake, and went here. The horchata and strawberry tres leches were very sweet--more than I'm used to, but I enjoyed it.

Yelp
My friend and I went here for the 4/20 special - $4.20 per slice of cake and the portions are the large, regular-sized portions! Even at $8 per slice which is their original price, it is very well worth it. One slice of cake is like a container tub, enough for 2 people for dessert. We tried the original, dulce de leche, Mexican mocha, and matcha flavors as the promotion only allowed maximum 2 slices per customer, which is more than enough for a few days of sweets for us. The original tres leches cake is spot on - very milky and decently sweet. The dulce de leche is fairly similar, with additional caramel flavor. I would opt for dulce de leche between the two, if you were to choose one, but both were excellent. The Mexican mocha tasted like chocolate as expected, and I am a fan of that. The matcha is okay - the consistency is still similar to regular tres leches cake but the flavor did not really pair that well. This place is a grab and go type of place so keep that in mind when you make a purchase here. Fortunately, the containers are very durable and so you don't need to worry about the cake as you make a journey to wherever you decide to consume it - whether it be back home, or at a nearby park.

Yelp
I just think it's really cool that this place exists. A bakery just for tres leches cakes? Pretty sweet. You can get them at a couple different locations in the city besides their actual store, but as far as I know, this is the go-to spot to get it as fresh as possible - they need time to soak in condensed milk, so you aren't exactly getting them right out of the oven, but yeah. Every flavor I've tried so far has been pretty good - it's not exactly like what I've come to expect from tres leches cake, consistency or flavor-wise, but it's undeniably tres leches. I'm partial to their horchata flavor. May not be your favorite take, but this is definitely a dessert worth trying!
google avatar

Abigail A.

Yelp
Delicious slices of cake!! If you have a sweet tooth and are in Wallingford, I highly recommend getting your dessert fix at Tres Lechería! Each slice is about $8 and they offer a variety of flavors. If this is your first time here, you definitely have to try their classic, tres leche. It has just the right amount of liquid where it's moist, but not soupy. It is also not too sweet, which I really appreciate. My partner isn't that big of a fan of desserts, and he really enjoyed this! When you do go, I highly recommend buying at least two slices. After the first one, you'll regret not getting more!

Rebecca H.

Yelp
First off, I have been having a craving for tres leches cake and this totally satisfied my craving! I got the traditional flavor and it was perfect. I am looking forward to the next time I order from here because I am interested in trying from their range of flavors. I ordered delivery from DoorDash so I never saw the interior, but they put a smiley face on my bag and I thought that was the most wholesome thing ever! Amazing customer service.
google avatar

Nishad K.

Yelp
Tres times, tres flavors, tres lecheria No Mas...! Little biased review as i generally dont get tres leches. But this one did not work for me. This supposedly sugar rush featured place serves a wide variety of tres leches. However, it is brain dizzylingly sweet...i know i know...it is dessert...but compared to lot of other tres leches this one was sickeningly sweet. Also the cake kind of disintegrated at center of the box. Overall maybe I am the one off eater who did not like this place...but i wanted to like it so much but hated it. Sorry hardworking folks here...but this probably is not for me
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
I didn't know this place was on Sugar Rush on Netflix!! What a cool surprise when I came up on the storefront! We were visiting from out of state and want something sweet after lunch. We ordered the matcha and marionberry flavor. Both were so good! the matcha one had more a subtle flavor and the marionberry one had a more stronger berry taste. LOL we looked at the nutritional fact label while eating and saw how many calories one slice was and we were like let's moderate ourselves. Def could've eaten the whole thing in one sitting tho HAHA BIGGEST TIP: get ONE slice to share with someone or maybe even share between 3 people because one slice is a lot for one person.
google avatar

Sage M.

Yelp
I am so happy I found this little gem in Wallingford! We got three different flavors, but my personal favorite was the Horchata! They're very creamy and amazing. We came on a Saturday and had a small business discount where each one was $2 off! They also have a punch card so you can rack up a free tres leche. Customer service was great and offered us great insight of which flavor we should get. They offer spoons and napkins. I will definitely be coming back!!
google avatar

Audrey C.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! I'm a fan of tres leches cake and was craving some. I initially discovered this place from a tiktok video and had no idea that Seattle had such an amazing spot like this! Ordering online was easy since they drop their new flavours on Tuesday and usually sell out the following days afterwards. I tried the cookies n cream as well as the matcha and they were a hit! Such delicious tres leches cake!
google avatar

Lacey H.

Yelp
So delicious, light, fluffy, perfectly sweet (though I do have a big sweet tooth). Super satisfying without feeling too heavy or artificial. Literal yum in my tum
google avatar

Valerie C.

Yelp
Stopped by Tres Lecheria during the last hour before they closed. Stepping into the store, I was intrigued by the beautiful artwork everywhere! It was my family and I first time here and the employee Robert was extremely hospitable! He gave great recommendations for us and we were tempted by the many options. Thank you so much for your help, Robert! You deserve a merit increase and your customer service is what help brings customers back!
google avatar

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
Cake slice in a box! It's super delicious! Moist cake, topped with what it seems like a tiny bit of melted icecream. Definitely makes a great combo! Each spoonful was so delicious! Omgosh.... I am salivating as I write this! The flavors was spot on! I was worried they would be too sweet, but the original and cookies and cream was wonderful!! Highly recommend, and would totally order some more! Service was quick and friendly! And they do online shipping now in the cutest tins! We should be lucky they are in appropriate sizes.. or I would devour this cake sheet size at a time!
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
We got the classic, corn honey and Marion berry Tres Leches. All of them were yum and had good portions.
google avatar

Barrie S.

Yelp
When I found out there's a tres lecheria...that makes tres leches in different flavors, my mind exploded in excitement! My slight lactose intolerance, and attempt to have a fairly healthy diet, guilted me into choosing only one flavor and I chose matcha. I was definitely eyeing the rest of the menu, but the matcha tres leches cake did not disappoint! My visit was during the pandemic, so my experience at the storefront wasn't mind-blowing. You walk in, ring a bell, tell which flavor you want, pay and go. I almost feel like a visit to the store is no different than buying tres lecheria from the markets that sell their cakes. I would love to see what a post-pandemic experience at Tres Lecheria would be like with indoor seating! I LOVE how Tres Lecheria took an already amazing cake, and made it even more exciting! I can't wait to try their other flavors!
google avatar

Mary N.

Yelp
I hate to be dramatic but that Tres Leches cake is the best damn cake I've ever had in my life. So there I was, at my favorite tamale place (shout out to the always amazing Frelard Tamales) when I had noticed they were selling these cake slices!! You don't know how long I've been searching for a good Tres Leches cake so you already know I had to get some. Throughout the many impulsive decisions I've made, this was the best one. I got the cookies & cream and the traditional. The frosting is light and fluffy, the cake is doused in milk making it moist and airy - as any good Tres Leches should be!! And that flavor, wow. Sweet but not too sweet. Sweet enough to leave a lingering taste on your tongue - begging for more. I have not stopped thinking about these cakes since the first time I've tried them and am beyond excited to come back and try the other flavors.
google avatar

Yash K.

Yelp
They have one of the best tres leches cake I've ever had. Unlike most places they offer a variety of different flavored tres leches cakes, ranging from Mexican Mocha, Dulce de Leches, Horchata, Marionberry, Strawberry or the Traditional one. I tried the Dulce de Leches, Mocha and Marionberry ones, they were all great, the Dulce de Leches one was my favorite. The cakes are very soft and have lot of the liquid. They also had some outfits for pets, we got a freddy krueger outfit for dogs complete with a hat. Definitely recommend if you like desserts and are looking for a good tres leches cake.

Justin U.

Yelp
Super delicious! Nice milky sweet taste but wasn't overly sweet. Horchata flavoring isnt too overpowering. One star down just because the price is a little steep and the service wasnt amazing. We told the lady it was our first time there but she didnt really seem to care or seem enthusiastic. We asked for recommendations and she said horchata was the most popular followed by traditional and then dulce de leche. Overall would consider coming again to try other flavors or to pic one up for special occasions.
google avatar

Priya S.

Yelp
this place surely is a hidden gem in Wallingford. I was on my way to get tacos and stumbled upon this place and had to stop. It has a very cute and aesthetic interior. They have a wide variety of tres leches cakes -- we opted for the tradtional. Each slice is $8, which is a little steep, but after trying the cake it was well worth it. It was so creamy and flavorful I could not stop eating it. I can't wait to try the other flavors like horchata or dulce de leche soon!
google avatar

Ñídhì S.

Yelp
Amazing cake. Worth the price. They have so many flavors to choose from, my favorite is dulce leches.
google avatar

Brian T.

Yelp
Are you looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Because damn, Tres Lecheria hits the spot. A thousand times over. The fact that I am lactose intolerant, yet ordered and demolished these cakes, should speak volumes of how great this place is. After hearing some talk about this place, my wife and I had to stop by and try. We were greeted by Kevin and he was so friendly and gave us his recommendations. We ordered: Mexican Mocha, the traditional Tres Leches, and the Eggnog. All were phenomenal, and probably some of the best tres leches cakes I've ever had. NOTE: these cakes are WET! That's the way it's supposed to be! But that milky goodness just makes the cake that much more delicious. And on top of that, we got a stamp card! 3 down, 7 more to go to get a free cake. And with these amazing cakes, that'll definitely be a feasible goal to achieve. P.S. Afterwards, my wife and I sat down to watch Kevin compete in Sugar Rush on Netflix, and he KILLED it!
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
I was able to calm my election night anxiety with a slice of tres leches cake from Tres Lecheria. I wanted to try their original tres leches but they were sold out for the night. Opted for the Dulce De Leche instead. The cakes are sold by the slice and run $7/per slice. Overall taste & texture: It was everything that I had expected in a tres leches cake. Tres leches is usually comprised of 3 types of milk which include: milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk. If you have a real sweet tooth, this cake is for you! The cream on top of the cake was nice and light. My only qualm with my dulce de leche is that certain parts of the cake were dry and the milk wasn't consistently spread out throughout the entire slice of cake. Maybe it was just this batch? I'll be back again to try the other flavors next time!
google avatar

Karishma A.

Yelp
Unfortunately I am not a big fan of tres lecheria. I think it's more because overall I am not as sold on the concept as opposed to they didn't do a good job. Personally the cake was too sweet and too heavy and milky for me. I couldn't eat more than couple bites at best. My friends who love tres lecheria really worship this place.
google avatar

Erica Z.

Yelp
Between a 3 and a 4 star. We got the matcha flavor and it was great and all. But personally I wouldn't come back given the $8 price. They do give out a punch card. Buy 8 get 1 free
google avatar

Felicia N.

Yelp
Cake is my favorite kind of dessert so I don't take it lightly. I first had Tres Lecheria at a work event months ago and I could never forget about it! So I had to take my family here when they were visiting from out of town to show them what it was all about. We got a matcha, original, and cookies and cream. They were all incredible! We all agreed the cookies and cream was our favorite, even though we expected it to be the underdog. The matcha really came through but wasn't overpowering which is a great and tough balance to hit. And how could you go wrong with a traditional tres leches? I love how soft the cake is, and how soaked in goodness it gets. My new favorite dessert spot in Seattle!
google avatar

Nhan L.

Yelp
I haven't had tres leches in many spots in Seattle but this is hands down the best place I've tried. If you want a wetttt cake that's not overly sweet this is your spot. Hope to try the pandan flavor if it ever comes back!! Tradition 5/5: these cakes are so wet with great flavor. The icing is so light. It's like a whipped cream but eats like frosting. I don't know how they do it. Can't go wrong with traditional. Horchata 5/5: tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch or like French toast. The horchata flavor is strong but goes well with the cake. Sweet corn and honey 4/5: the corn flavor is there on the first bite but it kinda fizzles out. Don't taste much of the honey. Matcha 3/5: matcha flavor over powers the overall cake flavor.
google avatar

Xichen J.

Yelp
This place offers all sorts of tres leches cakes. They offer flavors such as matcha, horchata, traditional, and more. Unfortunately, there is currently no indoor seating and parking is difficult to find along the street. Their cakes taste better than the look.
google avatar

Luis R.

Yelp
Wow!! Freaking Delicious I'm from San Jose Ca and in this trip I hardly saw any Mexican joints . I love Tres Leches and this location gets my thumps up! Horchata Tres Leches was delicious, super milky, and the taste was spot on. Also great service!
google avatar

Jun Li Z.

Yelp
Ordered the Mexican chocolate, strawberry and cookies and cream cakes here for a friend's birthdays. Also wanted to see what the hype was all about. It was downright delicious! Not too sweet at all, just right so the other reviews do stack up. Only thing that I have about this place that it is quite expensive for a slice of cake, $8 since the base is the same but the cream and milk flavors are different.
google avatar

Jolie C.

Yelp
Run don't walk here!! My sister and I came here around a year ago for their tres leches cake and it was phenomenal. Skip forward to today, we made another pit stop to grab some and it was just as good as we remembered. We got the matcha, horchata, and seasonal marionberry flavors and all of them were super yummy and full of flavor. Not only do they have good cake but their staff are super friendly and helpful as well.

Joan D.

Yelp
Love this little shop and people who work there! Cake is so good with many interesting tres leches flavors. I got the Cookies & Cream. The shop itself is small, clean, and efficient. However, the woman behind the counter was so kind and personable which drove my experience home. Thank you and I'm excited to fill out my punch card!
google avatar

Mytoan N.

Yelp
I envy those who can do one thing and do it extremely well. That one thing is tres leches cake. I ordered ahead because rule follower but there seemed to be an abundance of grab and go at noon. Get your calorie steps in!
google avatar

Wilson T.

Yelp
Milky and creamy! First time having tres leches cake and it was amazing here! The style of the cake is on the wet side, but that's what makes it so good. The cake is juicy with every bite. The cream on top serves as a perfect complement to the cake. The overall cake is also not too sweet, but just sweet enough. Will definitely keep coming back here for this amazing cake!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
Waiting for the day they make custom cakes again! In the meantime, we order individual slices of Tres Leches -- the Oreo and Coconut flavors are top hits among my husband and his friends (todos Venezolanos). I can't try it because I have a wheat sensitivity, so also would LOVE if they added one or two GF options so I could grab a great for myself on our next pick-up.
google avatar

Luci L.

Yelp
Why am I lactose intolerant??? Like why????? These luscious cakes was can only be eaten sparingly for me. I had no idea that tres leches could taste the way they do here. In another life I would eat these endlessly.
google avatar

Kayla J.

Yelp
Best tres leches cake I've ever had. Not too sweet but so flavorful and creamy. The sponginess of the cake has been perfected. So good that we had it shipped out of state for our wedding.
google avatar

Carol P.

Yelp
This tres leches is the one I've been looking for the past 20 years. It tastes like the one I had in Mexico, near the San Diego border. It tastes like Heaven and I'm in love. Searching and searching for one in different restaurants always led to disappointing. Until now. Thank you for your most amazing tres leches ( and for selling in new seasons so I can get it anytime)
google avatar

jessica c.

Yelp
So I'm not a big tres leches fan or anything, but I was intrigued and am a lover of most sweets and desserts so I thought why not give this place a try. I'm totally sold on this little cake. The concept is so interesting to me.. like the thing is literally soaking in milk yet somehow isn't totally soggy. I hate soggy foods, so I think that's why originally I had never really been drawn to tres leches, but these cakes were not soggy. I usually can't finish all in one sitting so usually one cake I'll have over the course of a couple days l, and I've never had issues with it keeping and maintaining its shape. My favorite flavor is the horchata, but I was able to try a couple special flavors they did when they did a collab with a food blogger and those were legit as well. The cakes are a bit pricey for the size, but like I mentioned I usually can make 1 last a couple nights. Also love how they have them at some of the local grocery stores so that if you aren't near wallingford you can still enjoy!

Yelp
Nothing bad to say at all. I passed by in the afternoon on a weekend. There were no other customers. Parking was easy right in front on the street. I tried Matcha and Horchata and both were scrumptious. They bordered on being a bit too sweet but that's okay with me. Will definitely be back to try the other flavors

Yelp
This is one amazing place for Tres Leches cake .. It stands by its name.. never had I come across such luscious cake! Usual tres leaches anywhere else would just have a cake soaking in bed of milk underneath... but this, at this place the cake just holds the liquid in every cell and membrane without letting it drip .. atleast that's what I felt it was doing as I scooped every bite of it! Just mind blowing.. thats all. The flavors I tried were strawberry ( felt like edible strawberry milk shake ) and mexican mocha ( it was decent ) . The whipping cream on the top is as much as cake -- could have been little less on that front. They had other flavors like Horchata, mango, orange , cookies & cream, coconut, dulce de leche, cheesecake, pumpkin chai, matcha, etc.,

Yelp
I got the Traditional and the Matcha for comparison. I'm a matcha fan-girl so the matcha was the first thing I reached for. Honestly, I thought the traditional was better. I think it was most tasty as a light and delicate cream taste. Matcha does have a slight bitterness to it, which I usually really like, but I enjoyed the light flavoring of the traditional cake. I'm looking forward to trying their horchata flavor and seasonal pumpkin chai!

Yelp
LOVE this place soooo much!! This might be my favorite cake in the city! We tried a few months ago and now I am hooked and I go back every couple of weeks. Recently, we just picked up four kinds to share with friends over the 4th of July. They loved it too! Their cake is moist, not soggy, so flavorful and the frosting is thick but not too sweet! I had never had tres leches before but OMG it's so good! We've had it at a few other places now and these guys are just the best! Yes, it's $8 a slice/cake but they are a pretty good size! We probably shouldn't eat one in one sitting but we always do. You just keep wanting another bite...it's that good! They have a lot of flavors to pick from. We've tried cookies and cream, strawberry, Mexican mocha, coconut and all were good but our consistent favs are original, horchata and dulce de leche. They also just recently renovated so their shop is small but extra cute now! I also appreciate their consistency. Their cakes are always packaged nicely and delish! Go check them out! Side note: They do ship nationwide on goldbelly.

Yelp
Nice variety of tres leches cakes. Ordering online for pick up was continent and easy. I was used to the cake being completely soaked but these were still juicy and delicious. Some may think the cakes are on the sweeter side but I thought they have a good balance. Ordered: Traditional Matcha Mexican mocha- (favorite flavor profile) Sweet corn & honey
