The 26 Best Restaurants In Mumbai - Mumbai - The Infatuation

"Trèsind’s skilfully done fine dining tasting menu feels at odds with its location. To get here, you must navigate a service road off a dusty, noisy suburban main street and head deep into the driveway of an office complex, where the restaurant is located. Once inside, you’re rewarded with a modern, 14-course Indian dinner (₹6,000-₹6,500 plus taxes) served in an elegant room with curved blue banquettes, swirling metal mesh lights, and a gleaming bar that spans the room. The menu changes every six months, so there's always a reason to keep heading back. We still can’t stop talking about the Mangalorean ghee roast duck, served alongside a triangle of curry leaf honey-drizzled waffle, and the Rajasthani ghewar sweet made into a savory filigree lid that must be cracked open to reveal a small bowl of chaat—both dishes from the last menu we had." - roshni bajaj sanghvi

Trèsind is one of those restaurants where you go for the experience as much as the food. The ambience is classy and modern, with dim lighting and elegant décor that sets the mood right away. Service is top-notch—staff are attentive without being pushy, and they explain each dish like it’s part of a story. The food is creative Indian cuisine with a fine-dining twist. Presentation is Instagram-worthy, and the flavors are balanced, though sometimes you feel it’s more about style than portion size. The tasting menu is fun if you want to try a bit of everything, but be prepared—it’s not cheap. Cocktails are inventive, with unique flavors and presentation that match the restaurant’s vibe. Dessert was the highlight for me—beautifully plated and actually tasted as good as it looked. The only downside is the price. This is definitely a special-occasion place, not somewhere you drop in for a casual dinner. Also, if you prefer classic, straightforward Indian food, the fusion style here may not be your thing. Overall, Trèsind is worth visiting if you appreciate creative plating, fine service, and modern takes on Indian flavors—just go in knowing you’re paying for both the food and the experience.

A rare culinary journey that is authentic and not pretentious. Their interpretations of favourite Indian dishes was mind-blowing. The Khichdi of India was worth the price of admission. The service was simply perfect with each of the staff making sure our experience was beautiful. The ambience needs a bit of work though. Overall completely worth it and must visit.

Great dining experience. I ordered the set menu for dinner with my colleagues and treated to the feast for India. Staff was so attentive and our staff was Durvesh. Great experience and would recommend for anyone visiting India. A feast for the senses!

We were here for lunch on a Friday to celebrate a birthday as a group of 16. We were ushered to 2 separate tables. The dishes and the presentation were all spot on and delectable. The main course was a runaway hit and only the accompanying dal papad was perhaps not quite 5 stars imo. For me personally, the beetroot carpaccio was a standout among the courses. I had a couple of mocktails one lychee based and one off menu with green mango recommend by our wait staff and both were very good. Minor misses were that second group somehow managed to be one course ahead of our table and it was difficult to understand the explanation of each course as explained by Amit (partly his accent and pronunciation). Ambiance and interior design needs upscaling and doesn't really match the culinary experience which is 5 stars. Service is efficient but missing warmth. Maybe we were spoiled with the attention to details and gold standard from spending few days at Oberoi Udaivilas.

My second time here in about a year and the food is fantastic as is the service. We had the Chef's menu and it took us a good 3.5 hours to eat our way through it. Each course is a delight in its own way and I marvel at how they have combined varied ingredients to make such lovely dishes. Will be back again when the menu changes. :)

Incredible food! 14 courses was a lot but every single one was so unique and different. Khichdi was so good and loved how they added ingredients from every state to it. Would recommend and definitely return!
