It helps, of course, that it’s tucked away in a jungle on the shores of Koggala Lake, consisting of just 11 villas that literally disappear into the lush landscape thanks to leafy living walls. Private plunge pools and sunset-facing terraces only heighten the bliss of seclusion—though there are countless reasons to venture out. For one, there’s a luxurious spa, with a steam cavern and treetop yoga studio; then there’s the delicious, superfood-packed Sri Lankan fare served at the lakefront restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making us feel truly at home. Tri was an unforgettable stay we encountered. It’s surrounded by Koggala lake and it’s ideal for a relaxing and unwinding holiday. The place is so quiet and calm. The only noises you’ll hear will be the birds and monkeys around. The food was delicious and the staff was really friendly. The road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow but it is accessible. We booked the Sunset Villa but they upgraded us to the Lake villa, which was spacious and the pool in the villa was nice too. Their high tea is highly recommended.

Check-in was smooth, and the property is a hidden gem surrounded by nature. We were upgraded from the Lake Suite to the Sunset Pool Villa, which was stunning. The infinity pool was amazing, the food was delicious, and the 2-hour boat ride on the lake was unforgettable. Staff were very helpful and made the stay perfect. A 10/10 experience – highly recommended if you want to escape and disconnect.
