The Best Restaurants in Frisco, Texas | Eater Dallas

"This fancy restaurant inside the Omni PGA Frisco named a new chef over the summer — Joe Riojas, formerly of Uchi in Houston, José Andres’ now-defunct Zaytinya in Frisco, and Carbone Dallas. He has redesigned elements of the menu, so if you haven’t been in recently, its time for another trip. There are a lot of new cuts of steak, including a grand tasting of the wagyu menu." - Eater Staff

Our favorite place for date night. Food is incredible! I had the Mac and cheese this time. I’ve never tasted anything so good! We had wedge salads and the presentation was fabulous and the dressing was to die for! My bf got the salmon and loved it. Service fantastic! We will always go back!

Trick Rider – 5 Stars Trick Rider isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s an experience. The theme and design are impressive, and it fits right in at the Omni PGA in Frisco. My wife and I live local and dropped in for a date night. We sat at the bar, which is always the best way to get the vibe of a place—and this one delivered. The bartenders? Total pros. They handled nonstop drink orders for the whole restaurant with absolute precision. From cocktails to straight pours, everything came out smooth, fast, and well-crafted. It’s the kind of bar team that gives you confidence the whole place is running right. We enjoyed it so much we texted friends while still sitting there to set up a happy hour to come back. Now the food: We started with salads—her Caesar and my wedge (ranch instead of blue cheese, the way a ranch-style steakhouse should do it). Both were excellent and fresh. Steaks were next—ribeye for me, filet for her. I asked for mine “Pittsburgh style,” which is charred outside and rare inside—a hard cook to pull off. They nailed it. Flavors were a little different than expected—less buttery rosemary, more bold and slightly bitter spice—but still delicious. I ate every bite. If I had one minor gripe, it’s the attire. I expected golf wear at a PGA resort, but was surprised by the number of ball caps, T-shirts, and tennis shoes. We came dressed in sport coats and cowboy hats, and honestly, the space deserves that kind of respect. Bottom line: Trick Rider is a Frisco gem. Whether you’re local or just visiting the PGA, stop in for a drink or dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

Trick Rider is an exceptional upscale restaurant, perfect for a special dinner or date night. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, making it an ideal spot for a memorable evening. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The food was outstanding—everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. I had one of the best steaks of my life, perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. The attention to detail in every dish was evident. Adding to the experience, Trick Rider’s unique house-made drinks made the night even more fun. Each cocktail was creative, expertly crafted, and full of flavor, making them the perfect complement to the meal. Our server, Steve, provided impeccable service, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His professionalism and attentiveness elevated the entire experience. If you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with phenomenal food, drinks, and service, Trick Rider is an excellent choice! Trick Rider – A Must-Visit Gem in Frisco Hands down my favorite restaurant! This was our second time dining at Trick Rider, and we chose it to celebrate our anniversary with the whole family—and it did not disappoint. The highlight of the meal was the 12 oz Wagyu Delmonico, easily the best steak I’ve ever had. We also indulged in the Grand Wagyu Tasting, which featured an incredible lineup: short rib, New York strip, and spinalis—each bite was rich, tender, and full of flavor. We rounded out the mains with an additional NY strip, paired with a classic wedge salad. For sides, the grilled asparagus, potatoes, and mac and cheese whiz were off the charts. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. To top off an already amazing meal, we ordered the Holy Sundae for dessert. It was a blast—super fun and definitely the kids’ favorite part of the night. The staff was outstanding—warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. Trick Rider is not just a dinner, it’s an experience. If you’re anywhere near the Frisco area, this place is a must stop!

I had an outstanding experience at Trick Rider! The service was truly top-notch, and the food was excellent. A special shoutout to Cameron—he is one of the hardest workers I’ve seen in this industry in a long time. His professionalism, attentiveness, and dedication to great service were beyond impressive. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and his positive attitude made the experience even better. Keep mentoring him—he has a bright future ahead! Also, huge compliments to the Omni for going all out for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was elegant and thoughtfully curated, making for a truly special evening. Looking forward to my next visit!

Crab & Crystals 🦀 💎 Let’s start with the ambience, because yes, they nailed it. You walk in and boom, there’s a crystal horse just hanging as the fabulous focus. It’s dramatic. It’s glamorous. It’s giving “yes, I sparkle and I’m expensive.” This is a 16-foot-long, 9-foot-high Swarovski crystal chandelier designed by Jeffrey Beers International, featuring 4,075 bohemian cut crystal beads and weighing 1,500 pounds. Now onto the food…specifically, the king crab! Life-changing. I’m not saying I fell in love, but I am saying if that crab proposed to me, I’d say yes without hesitation. Forget love languages, mine is clearly butter-drenched shellfish, and Trick Rider understood the assignment. Also, I ordered asparagus because I needed to pretend I’m a responsible adult who eats green things, and wow, I did not share. Not one spear. Don’t look at me like that; it was too good and frankly, I have no regrets. Pro tip? Ask for two orders of bread. Just do it. Trust me. You’ll thank me later when you’re hoarding it like it’s your last meal on Earth. It’s warm, it’s fluffy, it’s probably laced with magic. And, you have a plate of butter from your king crab. Show up hungry, leave dramatic. Just like that crystal horse would want.

Google
Service was fantastic! Sadly though some of the food was sub par. The artichoke appetizer was WAY to charred. The beef tartare was awful, crazy crazy salty.......and yes, people.....I love salt!!! However, the broccolini was delicious and my husband's filet was also delicious. I had the King Crab.......let's face it, you can't mess up a King Crab....I just wish the portion was more! You essentially pay $80 for what a picky 2 year old child would eat !! Over all, we will absolutely be going back!!

We visited for a celebration and got reservations easily. We had excellent service and loved the atmosphere, but the pork chop fell short - overly salted and overcooked. We let our waitress know when she checked on us and made it right. They offered another entree but we were stuffed. Every other menu item she recommended was amazing! We will be back to dine on another special occasion.

Google
The Omni PGA Frisco is a great destination spot even just for drinks in the lobby and out on the patio. Had a birthday celebration at Trick Rider. The 6 oz filet, whipped & potatoes were great. Mac & cheese was alright. The sides are "for the table" but honestly portions were small enough to be personal portions. Had the special birthday dessert with the fun giant candle. It was all kinds of yummy with ice cream and pop corn. Good spot for a one time special occasion or for hotel guests but don't plan to return as a local based on prices/portion sizes.

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was the absolute highlight of my birthday weekend. Starting off, they offer complimentary valet parking. The front doors leading to the restaurant are gorgeous and the moment we walked in the, the whole vibe set the tone. We weren't sure where our table would be so we opted to sit at the bar until our reservation was ready. The bar is breathtaking, with the crystal horse the true eye candy of the entire place. I had a gin drink which was beautifully made and my boyfriend loved his old fashion. The hostess came for us when our reservation was ready and we were lucky enough to have a table facing the bar on the other side. Daniel was our server and he went above and beyond to make our dinner spectacular. I do not have enough good things to say about this man but he was knowledgeable about the menu and exemplified what a top class server should be. He brough me a birthday dessert, champagne and bon bons. The only compliant I have is not having a large enough stomach! We will be dining here again and requesting his service as nothing can possibly compare. Thank you for making my birthday amazing!

Yelp
Beautiful place for fine dining. Gorgeous atmosphere in a peaceful area. Service has been great. Had dinner one evening and the food was great...and went back for a cocktail another evening.

Yelp
Hmm, I guess I'd give it 3.5-4 stars. For such a beautiful resort where it's clear every single detail was labored over and the menus at The Apron, poolside restaurants, and Ryder Cup Grille are well thought out and the food is actually good, Trick Ridder fell short for me. We stayed at the resort for the weekend and decided to get dressed up (not something we do often with three little kids) and treat ourselves to a fancy dinner at Trick Rider. It's conveniently located in the resort so we didn't have to go far or worry about an Uber. The atmosphere is wonderful and like the resort, every detail is well thought out and appealing to the eyes. We were seated at a cozy booth facing the bar and the gorgeous crystal horse art display. Our waiter was wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. We both started with a glass of wine and got down to figuring out what we wanted to eat. Before arriving I'd perused the menu and figured I'd get the Salmon, but my husband was intrigued by the Grand Wagyu Beef Tasting and after he gave me that amazing smile I agreed. We added the Charred Broccolini as our side. The Grand Wagyu Beef Tasting was a disappointment (see image). Having been to Nick & Sam's and with the price tag of the option, we felt the presentation was lacking as were the portion sizes of each. To top it off, it tasted like any other steak I've had. There was nothing special or amazing about it. I had a slice of each and didn't bother going back for more. My husband enjoyed the meat, but agreed, there was nothing special about it. The cook on the meat was wonderful, but nothing else stood out. The dessert menu was was balanced, but nothing special so I skipped it. There was nothing wrong with the restaurant. From the front desk to the gentleman clearing our dishes, everyone was kind and friendly. Our waters stayed full, our drinks were good and a decent pour, the meat was fine, the broccolini good, but it just didn't stand out as amazing as we'd expected it to. I would definitely give Trick Rider another shot on my next stay and maybe try a seafood option.

Yelp
We had Arcadio as our server and he was wonderful!! He offered us a champagne toast and dessert for my husband's birthday! He was a true gem that made sure we were well taken care of! They have fun drinks on their menu, wine and liquor galore. We shared the wedge salad, which you can't go wrong with! I had the 6 oz filet and my husband and the pork chop. The whipped potatoes are very whipped and thin but have lots of flavor. The asparagus had great flavor as well. The dessert was next level and so yummy with huge bites of banana. A perfect spot for a date night or special occaison.

Yelp
Decided to try Trick Rider for my 21st wedding anniversary dinner and it did not let us down. We arrived for dinner and had a hard time finding the actual restaurant as it's lacking good signage at PGA Frisco but after some help we were guided to a pair of wooden doors that led us in almost like a speak easy. Staff greeted us and the ambiance was great. There is a massive crystal light fixture in the shape of a horse hanging above the bar that is incredible. Our waiter greeted us with champagne and we appreciated the effort but we do not drink and told him abruptly. He apologized and took the champagne away and said they do it for anniversary dinners and again, we appreciated the efforts. My wife and I both ordered filet mignon steaks which were cooked to perfection; juicy and succulent. We also shared an asparagus order that was good but a little too thick for our liking (smaller diameter asparagus just tastes better but they did a great job with flavor). For dessert we share a slice of wood chocolate pie which was exceptional, as was the passion fruit sorbet. Staff kept our sparkling water filled non stop and attended to us very well without being overbearing. The GM also approached me by name and we had a great conversation together. We will return! Tips: if you use the roundabout valet parking, when you enter the building take an immediate left to the end of the halls where the two wooden doors are and that's the Restaurant.

Yelp
To sum up this experience, our party of four was in agreement that the value for the dollar you spend is not there. Definitely an expensive menu and we are willing to spend the money. Totally understand they up charge everything being a nice restaurant, though if that's what you're going to do then make sure the quality is top notch. Our server was excellent, no complaints about him (I think his name was Steve). They treated us very well and we did receive a large booth and it didn't get too loud for the night we were in there so we could have a good conversation. The flow is excellent and you'll get complimentary champagne and dessert for a celebration. The cocktails were fine. The espresso martini was definitely more coffee forward though almost too bitter that you didn't know what to pair it with. The wine was fantastic as was the appetizers. The lobster was slightly rubbery and the filets were average. Overall, we won't go back given the price and the ability to find other high quality restaurants in frisco these days.

Yelp
We were staying at the hotel while visiting one of our new horses so it was only fitting that we went to trick rider. That said, we felt a little under dressed in jeans and sweatshirts given that every detail of the space was so carefully put together, but it did not impact our enjoyment of the meal. It was a complete standout. We knew going in that we'd be getting the wagyu sampler but that was about it. We had the Sidepiece and the Spice of Life cocktails which were both fantastic. Debated between oysters and a Caesar salad, we went with the Caesar salad which was ON POINT. perfect sizes of lettuce, perfect amount of dressing - perfect dressing! And the croutons were incredible. So much umami flavor. I believe our server said they use black garlic and miso paste in them. Even the butter for the bread was somehow amazing (and perfectly spreadable). Along with the wagyu we got the whipped potatoes which were the perfect accompaniment. Every bite of the meal was decadent and delicious. The sampler included short ribs, ny strip, and spinalis. The spinalis was the best steak I've ever tasted, bar none (and I have been to dozens of high end steakhouses across the globe). I wanted to try the cowboy sauce but each cut was so flavorful on its own that I never did. The potatoes were rich and creamy with garlic and Parmesan which offset the meat perfectly. We ordered a slice of carrot cake for dessert since we were both pretty full and knew it might make it back to Chicago with us. It was also wonderful although I wish I'd had room for more spinalis. Our server was a blast - great sense of humor especially after we started to get goofy after our second drink. Really this was the perfect meal for a wonderful day of playing with baby horses and exploring horse country.

Yelp
Food is perfectly cooked Ordered a tomahawk and it was seasoned perfectly Filet was delicious as well. Cocktails were on point The service was friendly and informative Atmosphere is an eclectic place with a cool chandelier that looks like a horse Cool spot! Very pricey

Yelp
We sat at the bar waiting for our table and Alexandra, bartender, was very professional and informative. My husband spilled his drink and about 4 staff members showed up to help clean it up very quickly and Alexandria had a fresh drink ready for him immediately. Great service! The mixed drinks tasted great as well. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, the Burrata was was good as well as the shrimp cocktail. Bearnaise sauce is a must. Diego was our server and provided great service throughout our meal.

Yelp
We were at Trick Rider last night for my birthday and the restaurant is beautiful, but fruit flies ruined the night. They kept flying into my drink and I had to send it back multiple times. When you pay $200 for drinks (which weren't good), one steak (not nearly as good as Eddie Vs), and two sides..I shouldn't have to check my food and drink for flies before I put it in my mouth. The waiter was killing the flies at our table! The manager said it was attributed to climate change and the flies getting in, however we had ate at Eddie Vs the night before and had zero issues. We were offered no discount. I asked to move tables but the waiter acted as if he didn't hear me. We paid full price, the manager said he would call us back but we will see.

Yelp
This place looks sooo freaking cool. The horse chandelier is just gorgeous. We had the Wagyu Flight which offered a selection of different types of wagyu from around the world. My husband and I each found only one type we liked and the other two were sub par. Plenty of food for 2 but imho not worth the price. Service was super friendly and knowledgeable so we lucked out there. I was impressed but it's a pricey place to go so that's a once a year type place for me lol. You won't be disappointed or left hungry when you leave here.

Yelp
We went to Trick Rider with a very large group of about 18 people. There is a great back room that seated all of us at a long table. We had two dedicated servers who were both outstanding. The Wagyu strip and the Branzino were outstanding. There were plenty of sides, and then of course we finished with the chocolate pie and carrot cake. The entire group thought everything was fantastic. Nice execution on a large group.

Yelp
Slow slow service so slow! Lobster was not edible due to a chive or parsley it was soaked in. Crab legs were amazing. It took several minutes to get water or even acknowledged Wouldn't seat us until full party was there although they were at bar - very odd Server kept disappearing I have Never been reached across my table so much by a server. Very disappointing overall Steaks were tiny It is a very overpriced concept. Best thing was the Seafood tower and chandelier.

Yelp
Husband and I are local and have been waiting for the new PGA property and hotels to open so we check them out. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and decided that we wanted to see if we could get in to Trick Rider. We didn't have a reservation but got there as soon as they opened with hopes of getting a seat. No table available, but they offer full service at the bar. We bellied up and were greeted by Alexandra. Husband ordered a bourbon cocktail and I asked for a non alcoholic beer. They have my favorite, Athletic Brewing run wild IPA, different review but they're amazing non alcoholic beers, that taste like beer. Anywho...got our drinks and toasted our anniversary. Alexandra congratulated us an brought back champagne on the house. Well, I don't drink alcohol, and mentioned it as she dropped it off, she was so sweet and brought me a replacement sparkling mocktail. She apologized,, which was not necessary as I didn't mention I don't drink, just that I liked the non alcoholic beer. We went over the menu where she expertly explained the cuts of steaks and her favorite appetizers. We took her recommendation and ordered the crispy artichokes, YUM! There was a lemony aïoli that you just needed a dab of. They could have used a sprinkle of salt, but still yummy. We were warned that the salads were huge so we split the Caesar salad. There was a touch of dry heat in the dressing and Alexandra was enthusiastically set on finding out what the chef added to the dressing, a little dijon. I thought it was horseradish, my palate was off. Then the tomahawk ribeye comes out perfectly cooked with a bulb of roasted garlic. This time I asked for some salt for the meat, hubs and I polished it off. Last but not least the Karrot cake for 4! It's a huge piece and deliciously divine, I could go with out the gold leaf, but that's me. It was pretty! We took half home and I'll probably have it for breakfast. Back to Alexandra, she's amazing! She's a wonderfully lovely human, we talked about our love of rescue dogs (she rescues geriatric pups and has a pack of 5 at home) and just generally had great time dinning with her, she was a majority part of our wonderful experience. We'll definitely go back and sit where Alexandra is covering at the bar. I should have given her my number, we should be friends. I hope management recognizes the asset that they have with her!

Yelp
Awesome ambiance with even better drinks. Definitely a special occasion type of place but it's worth every penny.

Yelp
My husband and I were in the area wanting to try something new for our date night. Unfortunately this location does not accept walk ins. On the website it doesn't say reservations required. Disappointing

Yelp
A welcome bougie addition to the Frisco area! My husband and I stopped by for happy hour. The decor, albeit dark, is beautiful. The crystal horse above the bar is a showstopper. My husband ordered the sidepiece cocktail and I got the ride of die (TR's version of a dirty martini). Both were really good. We chatted with the bartenders Alexandra and Andrew, who gave us some food recommendations that did not disappoint. We had the steak tartar, calamari, and fried artichoke. All were good but the tartar was especially phenomenal. We also sampled the delicious bread and butter and some bar snacks (crispy chickpeas, popcorn, and spiced walnuts). My only qualm is that it is VERY expensive. Wish they offered some happy hour specials.

Yelp
This place has a beautiful ambiance and delicious food to match. This is a place where you can come for drinks, a celebration, or for fun. Our server was very attentive; he noted my allergies and checked in on us periodically. I ordered the half chicken, which was roasted very well, and my friend ordered the salmon, who said it was perfectly cooked. Additionally, we ordered a side of their mac and cheese, which was velvety and cooked well. We will definitely be back to try their steaks.

Yelp
The experience at this restaurant was epic! The service was spectacular. The manager Jim was warm and welcoming. Me and my girlfriend wanted to set at the bar but could only find one open seat. Jim without us asking noticed and brought an extra chair. Not only did he validate our ticket for parking he had our car ready for us when we walked out. The bathroom was spotless. The live piano was a nice elegant touch. Our drinks were perfect and and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this place and will come back.

Yelp
Excellent NY Strip Steak but services from Arcadio is making the night more cheerful. The atmosphere is perfect for anniversaries, not to mention Horse chandelier centerpiece, beautiful.

Yelp
Been to Trick Rider twice and our big fans. Reservations are tough but go if you have the chance. Love the decor and the staff really are great. We also loved the calamari, broiled oysters and mac n cheese.

Yelp
FANTASTIC FOOD! The beet salad and wedge were incredible and we got the meat sampler which was to die for! Highly highly recommend this place! Best steak/seafood restaurant I've been to in a really long time!!

Yelp
We had a fabulous birthday dinner at Trick Rider and stayed for the incredible drone & fireworks show afterwards. The interior is stunningly beautiful and the staff were very attentive. It was the best steak of any restaurant in Texas I've had...flavor was beyond. Highly recommend!!!!

Yelp
After our first visit weeks ago we immediately made reservations again because we just had to see if this hyped up restaurant could score a home run twice in a row. Spoiler alert: it can! We requested Cara because she was so wonderful, but to our dismay, she was working a private event. She came out to say hi and help me remember what drink I liked the best from their great cocktail selection. (she actually remembered us!) Soon we met Will, who surprised us by being just as friendly, professional, and helpful, and he took great care of us. The whole waitstaff was top notch and on the mark all night. We ordered the same thing as last time because we were so impressed: wedge salad, 10 oz filet, and mushrooms....but this time we added calamari and mashed potatoes (melts in your mouth). For dessert we knew it would be difficult to beat the carrot cake with real gold, edible flakes on it, but we opted for the bananas foster like dessert and it was delectable!! Can't say enough about this modern yet warm and friendly restaurant and it's vibe and atmosphere. We will be regulars! AND the valet staff is awesome too!

Tim C.

Yelp
Phenomenal service with several extra surprises throughout the evening. The live piano music was a nice touch. Great food, too!

Yelp
Dined in for the first time and everything was exceptional!! My server's name is Eduardo, he really made sure that everything was going well The ambiance was great and the food was beyond expectation! All the food that I ordered came out very well and all tasted delicious The staff are all very sweet! I was feeling a bit lonely but they surely made my night special. Servers named Will and Steve were also checking out if I'm doing great. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Kudos to everyone working at Trick Rider! You all did a great job! With that being said, I'm definitely gonna dine in again.

Yelp
Great cocktails in a dark, snazzy environment with an amazing bartender (Alexandra)!!

Sheila W.

Yelp
Celebrating hubby's birthday at Trick Ryder. It was our first time and by far one of the best dining experiences we've had. The ambiance, food, and service a definite 10. Eduardo was our waiter and he made great menu suggestions and was very accommodating. The lamb chops were amazing- perfectly seasoned and tender. Eduardo recommended the crispy artichokes. They were DELISH! Light, crispy, seasoned with a hint of salt and lemon. We ordered the charred broccolini as the side. Can't even explain how delectable it was. Just trust me and try it. For dessert, we shared bananas foster. Another home run! Yes, it's considered upscale dining so more expensive than your typical restaurant. In my opinion, the quality of food, service, and ambiance make it well worth it. Yes, it's a little loud but didn't take away from our dining experience. We will definitely visit again soon!
google avatar

Crystal S.

Yelp
This is amazing! We loved every single dish and cocktail. The atmosphere was perfect and so was the staff. I can't wait to back!

Asif K.

Yelp
Great food and nice ambiance for a steak house. Drinks are ok... nothing special. Food was great... we had a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids. Expensive!
google avatar

Duane S.

Yelp
The food was good once they got the steaks right. Took them three tries to get it right. The atmosphere is good. The service was great. Waitress and other staff were very attentive and nice. Place was clean and presentable. The menu was a little short. Not a huge amount of offering. However, the desert was off the chain. Outstanding in presentation and taste.

Yelp
My Husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner when staying at the Omni. Our waiter, Jeremy, and he was absolutely amazing. He made the whole experience such a great time and made sure we felt special. We will definitely be going again and for sure recommend this place!

Yelp
Girlfriends birthday Dinner..What a nightmare! Inundated with fruit flys..I basically had to dress the manager down to get them to let us leave. They tried to offer us a 50% discount for the food we ordered but hadn't received. When I say inundated I mean attacked by fruit flys. They were in the butter, In the drinks in our eyes. Yes I asked to be reseated but apparently they're everywhere in the restaurant. The manager tried to tell me it's not their fault but clearly it is..Perhaps they should close the doors until the problem is fixed. It was very warm in there and perhaps that's part of the problem....They ruined our night. I'm still pissed about it. You can't charge $115 a plate and allow your guests to suffer like that..Unbelievable

Yelp
Wow! What an amazing experience this venue was on opening night. Top notch quality drinks in a setting that was beautifully decorated. The service, food, and overall dining experience was nothing short of superb! Welcome to Frisco a new dining experience that is a must visit. Well done OMNI!!!!

Troy C.

Yelp
Incredible food and service from a very well prepared opening team. Don't just think of this as a hotel restaurant. This one's for you Frisco...get out to Trick Rider right away! You won't regret it. Steaks are amazing, lobster tails are perfect, and the fried artichokes are next level. Great job Trick Rider team!

Yelp
Blake the bartender is amazing! Probably the reason we have been back once a week since it opened. Great service, great explanation of menu, and great recommendation on Garrison Brothers bourbon flight. Top notch bartender an asset to PGA Omni!!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely the best! The best service. The most beautiful property and the most amazing food. Edgar is the manager and he was so hospitable. They give you the best taste of Texas and we have been several times.

John P.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent. Noise level was a little high due to large group seated across from us, but we were moved as soon as our waiter came to the table. Had the broiled oysters and the wayghu delmonico. Excellent!

Jeremy H.

Yelp
The absolute best filet I've ever eaten in my life! It's expensive, but I'd pay the price again & again!

Yelp
We came in to Trick Rider just to peek in and had to stay for drinks. The manager was welcoming and showed us around. The drinks were perfectly balanced. The bartender that served us was attentive and speedy. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and lively. This is my new favorite place. Pro tip - there is live music every night!

Yelp
Service was fantastic. Food was good but small portions. Prices were crazy high. So many better steakhouse options in the area. This place will target hotel guest from out of town only. Locals will not likely go back as we won't.

Yelp
beautiful restaurant with crystal horse hanging Over the bar. Food ( Filet, boiled (6) Shrimp and lobster Mac and cheese were really Good- ****however, the lobster Mac and cheese was $90.00. Yes, $90.00 dollars!!!!!!!! ( just as a note, for example, it is $33.00 at Perry's steakhouse!). I asked the waitress as well as the manager if that was the correct price and they both said yes. It said market price on the menu and I should have either been told and/or asked. I've traveled all over the world and never, ever, ever been charged anywhere near close to $90.00 for a lobster Mac and cheese. (Another note- a 3 pound Maine lobster at Pappadeauxs is roughly $100!) The 3 flavors of bread bread they serve is Excellent and is from a bakery in McKinney. It is delicious!!!! could not Stop eating it!! The restaurant and bar is a very loud place and it also offers live music each night. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays! They have valet Parking, the sign for the restaurant is kind of hidden. I recommend the restaurant but definitely ask what the prices Are When it says market Price. I would recommend you only Sit at table number 30- ---you get the full view of the crystal horse, the view of the live performer and the view of people Coming in to the restaurant. They sat us at the back of the restaurant initially and we asked to be moved to table 30, which only seats 2-3 people near the bar area, but it's a great table!!!

Yelp
I attended a private dinner party at Trick Rider and had an amazing time. Our server, Arcadio, was wonderful and attentive and even made the effort to bring out a surprise dessert for my birthday at the end of the night. All of the food was exceptional. Great atmosphere for a special occasion.

Yelp
Won't allow reservations unless your staying at the Omni. Pretty stupid way to start off with the local community that COULD support you. Fail!

Yelp
Highly recommend this place. Our server, Blake was amazing. We started with cocktails and ordered oysters on the half shell, Caesar salad (which was fantastic), Dry aged ribeye cooked to perfection, and mashed potatoes (a lot of butter, so be aware). Since it was my birthday and I couldn't choose which dessert to get, they brought out the carrot cake (really great) and the chocolate silk pie. Overall, very good meal. Would ultimately rate it a 4.5/5, but the service was fantastic, so I'll give Trick Rider a 5

Yelp
Finally, an amazing upscale steakhouse near Prosper at the incredible new Omni PGA Resort. No details have been spared in this establishment; from the breathtaking chandelier to the glassware and dinner set, everything exudes fine taste without overpowering. The service is warm, attentive and hospitable. Huge shoutout to Diego (our awesome waiter) and Edgar (the manager) for making the dining experience so special. The quality of the steaks and their preparation were amazing and perfect and so were the drinks. The Mac and cheese and mushrooms are a must try. For dessert, the cake carrot was decadent with a generous shareable portion. PS: they had a great fun band on Thursday that really livened up the ambience with some epic old school songs. This is now undoubtedly my go to restaurant whenever I want to host my friends visiting from out of town or for a random treat now and then. Go try it :)

Yelp
Requested to sit where we could see/hear Goga and we were seated in back. Lady asked if we wanEd bread and we said yes. Food came and we asked our waiter about the bread we were offered. He said he would make it happen. Never happened. This is one and done.

Yelp
Service was fantastic!! The food on the other hand was mediocre at best and the prices are outrageous! You could easily eat at any steakhouse in Texas for half of what they charge here and have a much better meal.
