Three Wheels Noodle Review - Logan Square - Chicago - The Infatuation

"People who sacrifice wheat at the altar of noodles will appreciate Three Wheels Noodle in Logan Square. This Thai restaurant has some standout dishes like spicy udon noodles, along with takeout staples like pad thai and pad see ew. But they also have a few noodle-based soups that are great. For example, the khao-soi, with a tart and sweet broth punctuated by pickled vegetables, and topped with crispy noodles. It’s usually not too hard to grab a seat at the communal table or one of their high tops, so you can settle in and take your time contemplating the tricycle decor while slurping down a bowl of drunken noodles." - Veda Kilaru

This is one of my favorite spots in the Logan square area! Very friendly staff and great food with a calm and warm atmosphere. I love their tofu and noodle bowl the best. Highly recommend this spot!

Nice place for a quick bite. Friendly service, good food and comfortable seating.

Google
Such a cute Thai place with beautiful murals throughout the inside. The food was really fresh and flavorful. We tried the Crab Rangoon and Drunken Noodles and really enjoyed them. Staff was very friendly and service was quick! While eating there was pleasant, it seems like a great option for takeout as well.

Google
Ordered the Spicy Basil Rice, best I’ve ever had. Chicken is ground instead of sliced so allows even flavor every bite. Crisp fresh green beans and peppers, the spice is authentic (not created by using jalapeños like i’vehad at other places) Basil rice is one of my favorite Thai dishes and this is easily now my favorite place to order it!! Husband had the Drunken Noodles, also amazing.

Trike in Logan Square is an absolute gem for Thai cuisine lovers. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, setting the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. The Khao Suey was an absolute standout—rich, comforting, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight, with the coconut base carrying just the right hint of spice. The veg Penang Curry was equally impressive, boasting a deep, velvety texture and a perfectly balanced mix of sweet and savory. It’s rare to find dishes that feel both indulgent and homely, but Trike absolutely nails it. The hospitality, however, is what truly made the night special. The owner was incredibly gracious and engaged, taking the time to check in on us and ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. His genuine enthusiasm for making guests feel welcomed was a refreshing touch. The complimentary spring rolls were another unexpected joy—their crispness matched with an outstanding dipping sauce made for a fantastic surprise. What left a lasting impression was the owner’s kindness—seeing that my mother was fasting, he thoughtfully packed a portion of the spring rolls so she could enjoy them later. It’s gestures like these that set Trike apart—not just as a restaurant but as a place that genuinely cares about its guests. Trike isn’t just about incredible food; it’s about an experience that makes you feel valued. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or simply looking for an exceptional meal served with heart, this is a spot you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!

Google
The noodles here are top tier. They have a really great consistency and the dishes have a great balance of flavors. The spicy udon noodles and the drunken noodles are my favorite. My wife loved the golden curry noodles. Be sure to check them out! BYOB!

Best Thai food in Logan Square! The spicy udon noodles is the best I've ever had Friendly owner and staffs

Google
Pretty good food and excellent spot for vegetarians looking for Thai food and sushi. The service was good and the prices are quite reasonable, considering the portion size of some of the dishes. I didn’t love the presentation of the maki rolls, as they all came together on the same plate and was confusing as to which one was which... but overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience.

Yelp
Ordered from here a few times for dine-in and takeout, has not disappointed! Recently came here with a large group 10+ people, and was very accommodating! Food was excellent and quick, everyone was happy and satisfied with their order. Will definitely be back here and continue to order! Favorites: bangkok beef noodle soup, pad thai (of course!), trike wings, spicy crispy noodles, drunken chicken... expecting the entire menu to be delicious.

Yelp
Low-key Thai restaurant on Milwaukee. Place is quiet; no tv's. Food was very good. I had the Golden curry noodle but my wife had the Pad Thai with chicken. No pressure from staff for " table turnover " and the waiter was pleasant and attentive. It's byob but they provide glasses and a wine opener upon request. Parking was a challenge but it only took about 10 mins to find a spot. It was a Saturday night and the closest Spot Hero garage was $35. We found parking on Medill.

Yelp
I've been craving pad Thai forever so I takeout through Yelp. I didn't have interaction with the service but it got here 15 minutes before it was set to arrive. Probably because my order was at an off time. Pad Thai with chicken: 7/10 This satisfied my craving however it definitely could have been better. I ordered the second spice of three spice options and this did not have any spice at all. Curious if it was forgotten or if the medium spice isn't spicy. The chicken was pretty dry but otherwise good quality. I would have gotten tofu but it was more expensive which was weird. The noddles were great and didn't have too much sauce. So if you like them saucy, this is not it. Speaking of sauce, it seemed like the added too much fish sauce by the smell of it when I was reheating. Not a big deal but it just smelled really fishy. The portion was great for a hungry person. Overall this felt like a healthier version of pad Thai which is nice cause I didn't feel like garbage after eating too much lol. Veggie egg rolls: 10/10 The hot and sour sauce was super good and spicier than the pad Thai. The egg rolls were filled well. The wrap was flaky and the perfect amount of crisp without being too oily. Overall, I'd probably get this again since it's so close but I'll definitely call to make sure the spice level is translated through.

Yelp
Ordered Doordash delivery and this place is so solid and might be my new favorite place for Thai takeout. Bangkok beef noodle soup - ramen noodle with thai style braised 100% angus beef, bean sprouts, chinese broccoli, fried garlic, fresh radishes, green onion and cilantro in homemade beef broth. The broth is a tiny bit on the saltier side but still so flavorful and so good. The noodles are very very thin. The beef is very tender. Would definitely order this again. Drunken noodles - I'm such a sucker for thick wide flat noodles (I eat pad see ew like it's my job). This is one of my new favorites! It's not super spicy but does have a bit of heat. The garlic chili sauce is phenomenal. I'm also picky when it comes to noodles because I don't like when they get crispy and all these were perfect.

Yelp
Cozy place tucked into a corner of Logan, the drunken noodles were definitely the best! I can't say this is my favorite Thai place but if you need something in a pinch it will do the job. The restaurant has a mix of high and low tables and a few booths. It was really hot and stuffy in the restaurant for some reason

Yelp
I would say three wheels speciality is 100% their Khao Soi. They give you all the fixings but portion was small. Pad see ewe was fine. Flavor was lacking. Sriracha helped give it some oomph. Fried rice average. Not my favorite stop but could see how it could appeal to some palettes.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
To start off, the name of the restaurant was a little confusing. It says Three Wheels Noodle, but it's also under the name Trike. For a Friday night the place was empty and very quiet when we first got there. We started off with the Trike wings. These were very delicious and super crispy. My garlic fried rice was average. The flavor was good, but the chicken was dry. The portion sizes are healthy and I left full. The golden curry noodles were okay. I prefer curry with rice, but it was something different to try. The dining area also filled up with smoke from the kitchen when it started to get more busy. This was off putting. I think there are way better Thai places in the Logan Square area. However, this isn't bad if you're looking to try a new spot.

Yelp
A nice thai place. We went not too longer after they opened, so the AC wasn't functional yet, and it was really hot inside. The server did the best to cool us down by sitting us in front of some big fans, and made sure to give us a constant stream of iced water. All the food has customizable spice levels which is nice, and makes it suitable for people with various spice tolerances. I got the tofu pad see ew, and it was pretty good. The tofu was perfectly textured and flavored.

Yelp
I go to this place fairly often when I used to live in Chicago, recently I visited the city and had to stop by again for the Golden Noodle soup, which is a signature dish here. I get it with the tofu and I'm never disappointed. The broth is so rich with flavor and I love the crispy fried sticks as well. The food is so so good, and the service is fairly fast. There's never a wait to get a table, which is a blessing as a regular. The decoration is so gorgeous, it transports me back to the street food markets back in Asia. There is a gorgeous mural and beautiful art work and magazine prints. Always love coming back here on my visits.

Yelp
Sometimes when I'm craving pad Thai I will search Yelp for best pad Thai and this place came up in one of those searches. It was legit. This was absolutely the best pad Thai I've had in Chicago. Also the best pad see ewe. Also the golden curry noodles were a delight. All the noodles were made upon order, everything was incredibly hot and sitting inside you can smell the wok in action it was mouthwatering. I did have a little confusion when planning my visit- Yelp lists as three wheels noodles as does the sign out front, the website and the menus list as trike noodles. So in case anyone else was confused, it's all the same. Service was quick and the food was also prepared quickly. It looks like they do a lot of take out/ delivery as well I could find on grubhub and Uber eats. Portions sizes are great. There are so many more things on the menu I'm dying to try. It's mostly Thai with some other Asian inspired noodles. No outdoor seating, only about 7 tables of various sizes inside but we didn't have to wait around 6 on a Saturday. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Get lots of noodles from here. It has noodles out the ying yang it seems. Three Wheels Noodle is a pretty hipster place with some kind of tricycle theme going on with these bikes all over the place and whatever. Even more food than just noodles, so explore if wanting something else. Prices are pretty okay for the quality and for being in a hipster place. First time here and we got noodles of course. It seemed like a wise choice, because after all they had to do these good, with it being in the name of the place. The entrees can be kind of expensive, but not crazy for around here though. It's about $14 for entrees. We found a few vegetarian ones of these. I got the Tofu And Noodle Bowl. Simple name but complex flavor. A lot was in it. This was thin rice vermicelli topped with bean sprouts, carrots, cilantro, cucumbers, house made ginger garlic sauce, lime, romaine, and marinated tofu. Filling. This had a nice spice. Have to try a noodle entree, but there's plenty more you can get. In addition, there's also rolls, soups, and more. There's a ton of things for vegans and vegetarians.

Yelp
Honestly super good! Some of the best pad see ew I've had in the city. I really loved the texture of their tofu, it's like somewhere between soft and firm which I feel like is rare at restaurants. The tofu is also super flavorful/obviously marinated. The serving sizes are also huge. When we went it was a super hot day and idk if their AC was broken or they just don't have it but I was sweating so much the entire time even though we sat right in front of the fan. The service was a smidge slower than I would've expected but if you flag them down it was fine.

Yelp
Found hair in noodles. Waiter was very rude and inpatient, smelled like cigarettes and dumpster, went there for my kids birthday and had a terrible time.

Yelp
I ordered Tom Yum soup, and it was served in a dish the size of a cereal bowl, not enough to share with another person.

Yelp
I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A GREAT THAI PLACE IN CHICAGO. I'M EMOTIONAL. There was no wait and we got seated immediately. Golden curry noodle was AMAZIN and so flavorful also affordable! I got chili oil on the side so it was a good spice kick. portions was lowkey enough for 2 meals since there was so much curry left. I'm very thrilled and will definitely be going again

Yelp
everything... about this place...is...AWESOME freshest ingredients, the right spice, satisfying vegan/vegi dishes, made to order, attentive personal service, kitschy atmosphere, byob.
google avatar

Destinee C.

Yelp
This place is my happy spot! I crave their beef noodles all the time. I love the thin texture of this noodle and how it soaks up the rich savory broth. Personally I would add more cilantro and lime but that's just me. Service is so great! Very respectful and attentive. Ambiance is chill as the place is usually just busy with take it orders. Beautiful paintings on almost every wall if this place

Yelp
A gem of Logan Square! Very spacious and interesting seating and loved the vibe/decor. Service was great and their portion sizes were impressive. Highly recommend this place, think it will be a go-to spot for me and my friends!

Yelp
My new favorite joint for Thai! Friday night and plans changed so I was starving about to waste away to nothing! (Dramatic much?) We decided to try a different Thai spot and Three Wheel Noodles had great reviews and a good menu. We called for takeaway and the wait was only 20 minutes. It took us longer to leave and we picked up our food about 10-15 minutes late. Our Drunken Noodles and egg rolls were still warm and amazing by the time we got back (Wicker Park/Bucktown) even after another stop. We ordered our noodles hot, one with chicken and one with beef. The flavor was so good and delish! I absolutely recommend TWN and I'm dreaming about my next visit!

Yelp
I ordered the Bring it on Noodle, Crab Rangoon, Trike's Wings, and Thai Iced Tea. It had been over six months since I had spicy food so my spicy tolerance meter was low. But the Bring it on Noodle dish quickly brought me back up to speed. This dish is truly flavorful, hearty, and spicy! For those who like spicy foods but haven't had in while, I suggest ordering a Thai Iced Tea to accompany the meal to cool your palette. The spicy flavors aren't overwhelming to the point where your eyes water or coughing occurs in between bites, however, the dish definitely has some power. Bring it on Noodle includes thin noodles and crunchy ones sprinkled on top, shrimp, tender chucks of beef and tofu while sitting in a rich, buttery peanut sauce broth. For appetizers, the Crab Rangoon were delicately deep fried in a light shell wrapping and were smaller in shape and size than some other Thai spots I've visited but they were packed with flavor and I couldn't stop eating them. The Trike's wings were seasoned well and delicious even without the sauce. I called ahead to place my order which was ready as soon as I arrived about fifteen minutes later. They had Covid protocols in place and there was no close contact with the staff. When I walked in they could see and talk to me from afar in the kitchen but that was the extent. I hadn't been to Three for indoor dining but the way they had my order ready when I arrived I got the impression the service would be good.

Maura S.

Yelp
This place deserves to be filled to capacity every day. The food was so incredibly fresh and flavorful, the service was impeccable, and everything is reasonable priced. The best Thai I've had!

Yelp
Very surprised by these reviews. Ordered delivery for two people. Our noodles from our different dishes were whatever. Not a lot of taste. I requested mine to be 8/10 spicy. Wasn't spicy whatsoever. Since I ordered a Pad See Ew dish with beef (at $14.50 which is expensive considering the size), I assumed I would get the typical thinner beef slices. Nope. I've never seen this before, but it was like thick cube beef pieces almost like beef that should belong in some Chinese beef soup. Just seriously bizarre. We both did not like our plates, and I the chicken wing appetizer was very meh too. Overall, super disappointed and will not come back here. I genuinely feel like it is so hard to find good Thai food in Chicago. I've been here for a year now and have only found one place that is up to par with Thai food I can find back home in California. I take it as it is, and I've only found one place that's comparable. I'm not some boujee California asshole trying to act like I'm hot shit, but I just want good authentic Thai. I've probably tried 8-9 places so far and I'm unimpressed. Still on the quest to find something good, but the more I try more Thai places, the more I get discouraged to even try new places. Sorry for the bad review. It is what it is.

Yelp
Bring it on noodles: this was delicious the broth was perfectly seasoned. I did ask for spicy and it had a little bit of a kick but nothing where my eyes were watering. I wish there were more noodles that were added to this. The meat in the broth was tender and juicy. Chicken fried rice (spicy): This was your typical chicken fried rice I did ask for spicy and it was made perfectly. Crab Rangoon: these are really little and so cute. They were very crispy on the outside and filled with meat inside. Jumbo wings: I thought the flavoring on the wings were amazing and I did not use the sauce that was provided because the flavorwas that great but it didn't need anything else. Chive dumplings: this was interesting; this came in three that were perfectly fried and you can taste the chives inside. We ordered for takeout and it was ready within 20 minutes. The pickup was very easy as it was right it in the front when I came in.

Yelp
My husband and I pick up from here all the time. Delicious! Very clean restaurant. Our favorite is the spicy drunken chicken noodle. Great portions, friendly owners. Highly recommend.

Yelp
They deliver to East Garfield park lateish! A lot of restaurants don't. The egg rolls were small and mostly bread thus they sucked. Beef Panang curry was good and spicy with a nice balance of green beans broccoli and thin sliced carrots. Veggie Pad Thai had a lot of green beans which I will ask to be left out next time. I ordered everything max spicy and it was though the veggie/tofu pad Thai might have been underspiced purposely being veggie. Fast delivery time.

Yelp
What an amazing little addition to Logan Square with super flavorful Thai food options . The golden curry noodles are a must - they're flavored perfectly and smooth and have a great kick to it. The menu has some good options but it's not terribly overwhelming . The staff is very friendly and the food came our super quick. Without a doubt would come back .

Yelp
Great food. Fair pricing. Quick and competent service. This is a great spot for fast casual food. I loved the basil chicken and drunken noodles.

Yelp
Great food every time! Love the garlic fried rice and veggie spring rolls! Panang curry is good to. You can get a side of egg noodles to soak up all the curry goodness!

Yelp
Not sure why this place has such good reviews. I ordered a pad Thai via takeout and it might have been the worst pad Thai I've ever had. The noodle texture was bad. The noodles were cut into short pieces and it was soggy and unchewy. The color of the dish was very pale so I knew as soon as I opened it it wasn't going to have much flavor and it didn't. It doesn't have peanuts which pad Thais usually have. The balance of flavors was totally off. I felt so deceived because of all the good reviews this place has and was really sad cause I was starving and was really craving a good pad Thai.

Yelp
Amazing neighborhood Thai place! First time here and wasn't disappointed. The menu is a little limited compared to other Thai places I have been to and it is slightly more expensive. However, our entrees came with a side salad which was very light and refreshing. Our entrees were also portioned very nicely. I had enough to bring for lunch the next day! I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken (customer favorite and I can see why!). I ordered the "foreign hot" as the level of spicyness (a "medium" on their menu scale). It was not spicy enough for me, so next time I think I'll try their spiciest! However, the noodles and spices in the sauce were very flavorful. Our waiter was very kind and came around often to refill our waters. Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Ease of parking is as expected in the Logan square area. It is very tough to find parking on Milwaukee. However, if you are willing to walk, there are some spots on side streets you can park on for free.

Yelp
Summary: hipster Thai restaurant in Logan Square, IL. Very artsy wall murals and nice seating area inside. Food was very flavorful and decently priced. Our waitress was also very cheerful and accommodating. Even gave us complimentary salad and dessert! My husband and I were visiting Logan Square for the weekend and decided to dine at Three Wheels Noodle. It was a pretty great decision on my part haha (thanks yelpers!). As mentioned before, we had an awesome waitress who was cheerful and gave us some yummy food recommendations off their menu. We ordered their spring rolls for an appetizer. I ordered their beef noodle soup and my husband ordered their popular dish, beef curry noodles (forget the exact name). Everything tasted so good! Their flavors are so rich and orgasmic! You can really tell that their broths and curries are cooked for a while for all the flavors to come out. The braised beef was delicious and pulled apart wonderfully. I had another kind of beef in my noodle soup that was a little too tough but the whole dish was still delicious. They take credit cards. Probably will have to find street parking. We walked to the restaurant from our nearby Airbnb. Definitely will come here again next time we're in town!

Yelp
This isn't your typical Thai restaurant! They offer several Thai dishes that I haven't heard of before and they are all so good. We got the Thai style chicken wings with sticky rice, Golden Curry Noodle, and Spicy Basil with Beef. I really liked all 3 dishes!! The Thai style chicken wings had really good flavor and were perfectly crisp. The Golden Curry Noodle was a unique dish with two different types of noodles in a curry and it was delicious! The spicy basil with beef also had great flavor and the beef was a good protein to pair with this dish. I would definitely come back to this place for some good Thai food and I'm glad I got to try some Thai dishes I've never had before. I really liked all 3 dishes we got, I can't choose a favorite between them!
google avatar

Yelp
What was once my favorite Thai place in the city has lost a small step in the past six months. Everything is still tasty, fresh, and well-priced, but there's been a change in sauce in some of the dishes, particularly the pad thai. It's a lot sweeter and more syrupy than it once was, and there's a lot more grease on the veggie rolls and chive dumplings. While we still order from time to time, it is not the immediate go to it was for the first year and a half they opened.

Yelp
Three Wheels Noodle will have you asking for seconds. Also, BYOB! The food is absolutely delicious. I would consider myself kind of picky so it is hard for me to sometimes go outside of my comfort zone but the waitress was helpful with recommendations. I do not know how they make their chicken but holy cow, I had three different dishes with chicken and the chicken was always juicy. I ordered two appetizers. One was the chicken wings and the other was the house salad. Both of them were deliciously fresh. The chicken wings left me speechless. I don't know how they made the wings but man oh man I help but fight my fiancé for the very last one. They give you two sauces (sweet and spicy) to use for your chicken and I was in love. For my main dish I ordered the drunken noodles. They did not disappoint like all of the previous dishes I ordered. They were the perfect blend of spicy, they had a nice spicy after taste, and the chicken was tender. I knew the drunken noodles were going to taste great the next day as leftovers... and they did! Three Wheels Noodle is a must visit restaurant! It is definitely in my rotation of go to Thai restaurants.

Yelp
Okay, fellow Yelpers, you're right. This place rocks! I'm coming in from O'Hare and am hangry. Going somewhere in the Loop by the hotel seems boring and oh too far. I'm searching for what's in Logan Square. Your reviews caught my eye. The spot isn't far from California and a few doors down from Rev. It's BYOB, with a corkage fee of $2 per person. I go in and find another group there on an earlier Sunday dinner. I'm seated and attended to quickly. Looking over the menu the noodles sound delicious. I'm hangry and wanted an appetizer, but they were sizeable sounding. I asked the waiter for recommendations and the golden curry noodles came up first. He recommended a couple of other noodle dishes and wings as an appetizer. I do as he recommends and he's surprised I went for the wings (5 pieces in an order). For the noodles, the options are tofu, chicken, or beef and I choose beef. As I'm waiting, the waiter sends over a salad on the house. It's delicious and fresh. Nice gesture and I appreciated the veggies in anticipation for my protein heavy dinner. The wings arrive and are hot, I was careful in handling them. They come with a sweeter tamarind sauce and chili sauce. Both were good, but didn't add much to the wings. There was some cooked garlic crisps on the wings, which could have been blended in for more flavor. The noodles come shortly thereafter and look so amazing. The coconut broth is amazing and the noodles soak in the flavors. Not too spicy, but comforting for a cold day. The beef was fine, though a veggie only option would have complimented the noodles very well. It was a ton of food and I had leftovers. Check the spot out. Food is quality and service on point.

Yelp
One of the best Thai restaurants I've tried in Chicago! Ordered golden curry noodles, drunken noodles, crab Rangoon, chicken wings, and papaya salad. Papaya salad reminded me of Bangkok! Fresh, spicy and Fantastic! Order everything spicy! That's the right way to eat Thai food :) Chicken wings were great too! I loved golden curry with beef! That's their most popular dish! Get it spicy! Unique taste! The drunken noodles with chicken was amazing! Get that spicy too! Flat noodles with veggies and chicken! Lastly, crab Rangoon is another popular item here! Uniquely shaped and texture! Definitely will try again! Great restaurant!

Yelp
I wasn't all that impressed from all the hyped reviews. Overall, it's decent but nothing to go out of your way for. I wouldn't recommend the 5 gyoza appetizer as it wasn't tasty and lacked flavor. The 5 crab Rangoon were good but very small. We got the drunken chicken noodles and bbq crunchy noodles. Everything was just okay but not anything to rave about. The toughest part about this is the location. There is hardly any parking along Milwaukee and it's difficult to get to. It's also terribly overpriced for the amount of food you are getting. I probably wouldn't do it again.

Yelp
Experience: My girlfriend and I were craving Thai food, and this place popped up in our yelp search. Note: This review was taken during Covid restrictions, and therefore only based on the take out experience. I was able to order via phone with no difficulties. Neighborhood appears to be very trendy and great place to explore. Parking: This specific review was based off a take out experience. As a result, I am currently unaware of the status of parking. From just pure observation, it seems to be paid street parking. If i visit here again, I will update my review. Worth: The food was good. It definitely satisfied my craving of Thai food. It is worth the visit if you are near the neighborhood. I ordered the beef pad see ew. No complaints here. Probably would try something different in their menu!

Yelp
Just a little disappointed that they don't have Pad Thai on the menu, but their drunken noodles made up for it. Delicious! Would've enjoyed dining-in and checking out their murals as well.

Yelp
Boy am I glad we stumbled into this cute spot while waiting for a table at Chicago diner. Since we only came for a snack, we didn't order much. Plus my husband is avoiding meat and carbs, so he had limited options. I ordered a tom yum noodle soup. The noodles were broad, silky and chewy. Exactly how they should be. The soup was packed with spice and flavor - exactly what my cold body needed. My husband ordered some fried egg rolls. They were yummy, but egg rolls overall don't vary that much so while they were good, nothing about them stood out. Service was great and food came out quick! Once this quarantine phase is behind us, I think Three Wheels Noodle will be one of the first places I'll be paying a visit to.

Yelp
I'm 10 years old. I went with my mom and dad. I had the Tom yum soup. It was the best soup ever. It had everything in one bowl - sweet, tangy, sour, and spicy. The bbq pork noodles has a sweet sauce on the bottom. If you order the spice it would definitely balance well with the sweet. It amazing I recommend for everybody. I have no complaints - it's spot on!

Yelp
While you may not be able to tell by looking at me I got my Thai pallet from a childhood of Thai home cooking courtesy of my fresh of the boat Thai babysitter. Three Wheels is the first place I've had that captures that home cooking Thai taste that I've truly missed in adulthood and thats what makes this place so special and separates them from the other run of the mill Thai places. During quarantine we ordered from them at least once a week because this was one of the small handful of restaurants we thought needed saving! Anyway we love the spicy basil, drunken noodles, golden curry noodle (my personal face), and getting the chicken wings and eating them with sticky rice just like when I was a kid! Service is great and you can tell this is a family spot by the quality of the food and the service. HIGHLY recommend.

Yelp
Got delivery and the estimate was accurate. Golden Curry Noodle (chicken) - 4/5. Solid khoi soi. Little sweet on the sauce but complex flavor. Would re-order. Veggie Egg Rolls - 3.5/5. Solid. Nice dipping sauce. Could be a bit more fried. Broken Wonton - 3/5. The dumplings are decent but the overall dish isn't one I'd re-order. The BBQ pork doesn't integrate well.

Yelp
A quick Yelp search for restaurants near Cafe Mustache led me here, and boy was this place a terrific discovery! They opened in February of this year and have already amassed an arsenal of 5-star reviews. Must be something special. I had the Golden Curry Noodle and my bf had the Bring it on Noodle. The coconut curry broth was incredibly complex and silky smooth--super comforting on a rainy/chilly day. I wish I had more broth in my bowl (my dude had a tad more in his), but that's just the glutton in me talking. If your a heat-seeker, definitely go "Thai hot" and don't doubt yourself as I did. I asked for the "farang phet" (medium) spice level and instantly regretted not going for the hottest level :P The noodles were perfectly chewy and all the ingredients tasted fresh. They don't skimp on the fixins either. The chunks of beef in both dishes were thick yet tender. We honestly couldn't stop raving about them. Brought joy to our souls. Our server had an upbeat attitude. They have an open kitchen and it was nice to get a peek of the staff doing their thing. Loved the exposed brick, murals and decorative touches inside. Oh, and make sure to check out the 3D art of some of the dishes in bowls (to your left when you walk in)!! Insane. Would love to know who the artist is! The prices are just a little north of what we usually pay for Thai food, but we were very satisfied so I guess it was justified in the end? Would love to go back to try their desserts. I mean... Thai tea lava cake? Where else can you find that in Chicago? What an incredible find in the heart of Logan Square!

Yelp
Amazing food and even better service. Tom was so attentive and he was able to accomodate to some vegan needs! This place is a gem.

Yelp
Finally made it to Three Wheels and the food was every bit deserving of the hype and the reviews. The restaurant is an unassuming space near Revolution Brewery on Milwaukee. It's BYOB (and there's a liquor store across the street) with a $5 corkage fee. It's a cool spot with spacious seating and fun wall art and murals. The kitchen has a fake food truck front look to it that serves as the window to the open kitchen. Service was swift and friendly. The menu is larger than i was expecting, but more limited than your standard Thai restaurant menu. You won't find all of your standard options like red/green curry or ginger stir fry. But i suspect whatever they do offer, they do exceptionally. Based on our server's recommendations, we started with the vegetable spring rolls. They were excellent - filled with veggies and glass noodles. Next up, we ordered the golden curry noodles with beef. I rarely get beef in Thai dishes because it's always over cooked and rubbery. But our server was adamant than beef was the way to go, and she did not disappoint! The dish was so good we drank the curry left in the bowl. Next up was the spicy basil with tofu. Another amazingly flavored and mind blowing dish. Crispy tofu with a delicious sauce. Every item we had was fantastic and we will definitely be back. My only complaint was that the restaurant was insanely hot inside. I'm not sure if the AC was broken or they chose not to run it on a super hot Friday evening. But it was uncomfortably warm. Hopefully they will fix this issue. That said, the food was so good, I would have sat in 110 degree weather to enjoy it.

Yelp
As good as all the previous reviews. Basil chicken and garlic chicken were both delicious. Thai ice tea also very good. Service on point. Cool vibe and not crowded on a Thursday night. They do lots of take out so be prepared to witness nonstop drivers bustling in and out.

Yelp
I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and it was delicious!!! The tofu was so flavorful and firm. The noodles were good and soft. The only thing Is I wish it had more sauce. I can't wait to go back and try some other items
