Lukewarm hospitality and lukewarm, yet delicious food. The restaurant is okay. Nigerians frequent this place often, which is a VERY GOOD sign that the food is authentic! Naija music plays in the background.
The food is delicious, I just wish it would have been hot! I should have just asked could they warm it up, but their customer service attentiveness is not the best.
One thing that turned me off about the service is when I asked for menu suggestions to try, they struggled to describe the food, and when I ask how items taste, they would just say "It is good" in a slightly impatient manner. Keeping in mind the menu DOES NOT have a MENU DESCRIPTION, so of course, one would ask.
The Egusi was room temperature for soup, but I promise I'm not being petty, after all, it is soup/stew! The grilled chicken is very good as well. I'm not holding the lukewarm food against them on my rating, had to dock a star because they were a tad bit rude on two different visits. Not totally rude, but just polite enough not to walk out and not order. Overall, okay experience compared to other African restaurants that I've been to with a better experience. I don't think they're used to serving people that didn't grow up in their culture.
