"If you have friends trickling in at random times and don’t feel like waiting for everyone before you start drinking, go to Triple Rock Brewing Co. This place is massive, with two giant rooms and a second story patio. Grab a table early, start drinking, and scoot over whenever Carl shows up from work. They also have a solid menu of bar food with things like their blue rock burger with blue cheese and caramelized onions." - Will Kamensky

"Triple Rock Brewing Co. is really three bars in one. If you’re the kind of person who likes to drink beers surrounded by old wood and leather booths, you can sit at the main bar. If you’re with a group of people who are about to do some serious day drinking, the second room has long picnic tables in a modern beer hall setting with TVs and a shuffleboard table. If it’s a nice day outside, and you prefer drinking on a rooftop, they have an open-air space upstairs that feels like a private escape. The beer they brew is great, and if you plan to stay all day, they have a full bar menu of things like artichoke dip, loaded fries, and a blue rock burger with blue cheese and caramelized onions." - Will Kamensky

One of my favorite spots to go to in Berkeley. This brewery has been around for a while now. The restaurant itself has recently been expanded and now sits a lot more people. You have mainly 3 seating option. 1. Near the bar 2. New Larger room which has more space and a shuffleboard or 3. the outdoor/rooftop seating. I prefer seating on the roof or the larger room depending on the weather and size of the group. The service is great and all the servers know what they are serving. They can help you decided what to get. My favorite day to visit is Thursday because they serve their famous Monkey Head on that day. It is an $8 dollar huge bottle of beer that needs to be had in tine glasses. (That's the fun of it). Even the food is yum! so if you work around the area you could definitely get some food and drinks here I have had some great times here. Tip: On Thursday's it usually gets crowded so you might want to get there by 6-ish to make sure you get a good spot.

This was a great place to have a relaxed lunch in Berkeley. They have a wonderful rooftop bar and also outdoor seating. And they do a phenomenal job of keeping everyone safe during Covid. Every menu at every table is discarded after use for example! You can also order online and pay online without having to speak to a waiter.

Google
We used to love triple rock but they changed the quality of the food recently and the dishes we used to order are now barely palatable. :( Understand that businesses need to cut costs but it's such a bummer.

Often stop by for trivia on Wednesdays. Service is via QR codes on the tables. Staff is super friendly. Bar menu is substantial. Has a bike rack outside to hang yours. Staff helped me recover a lock I forgot one night.

I was trying to watch the vice presidential debate. I walked in to find it on, so I ordered a beer. I asked if the audio could be turned on, and I was informed the owners would not allow that. There were other patrons who were interested, so this heavy handed micro managing by owners who weren't even present was hard to understand. I don't think anyone wants to hear "Pretty Fly For a White Guy" that badly in 2024. I won't be back.

Google
I hit the tripartite rock thrice daily, and look at it nice, very closely. It's an extension of my soul. Stop, drop and roll when I hear the fire drill. Eating cheeseburgers on a hill. Only after I've taken my pills that my doctor recommended with a meal. Embrace the new new deal, that's better than the old new deal. Is it real? We'll see.

I ended up at Triple Rock by accident today. I had planned for an end-of-the-year lunch with some ex-coworkers at a nearby restaurant and it was closed. I had not been in this place since the 90’s, I think it was just beer back then. I was pleasantly surprised to see the cocktail menu. The Campsite Karaoke cocktail was so good it tasted like candy. The food is standard fare with good portions. Service was quick, contactless and efficient.

Google
Went in during mid day, so the place was essentially empty just a few people at the bar and a few tables occupied. Nevertheless, I brought my spouse who had his own food, but planned to order from them as well like I did. Some people are diabetic and need to eat right away and cannot wait. Anyway, and before I knew it, the Blond male bartender yells across the room, "What the hell do you think your doing.?!" I was shocked, and thought there was an element of racism in the bartender's response. Never again.

Yelp
Came by to have a beer with my partner & loved the vibe of this place! Super roomy & the bar looked pretty old school, but clean. Seems to be a spot of many regulars, and is pretty popular. The beers were decent, but what really made the experience awesome was that they have slushies (two alcoholic & one non-alcoholic)! Since we were there around the time the bartender was planning on switching out the slushie flavors anyway, we were given a complementary glass of their pineapple elderflower lemonade slushie. That was soooo good and super nice of them!!! A kind gesture that was totally not expected! Thank you!!

Yelp
Once again it was wonderful. Andre and Chelsea were helpful. Rock Hopper Burger with goat cheese was da bomb. I had apricot cider and a Ruben. Everything we ate and drank was perfect and as expected and had great eye appeal. Though it was a Saturday afternoon it was busy but not too noisy, but I can see with those high ceilings. Hell would be pretty noisy in the evening. The meat in my Reuben was moist and flavorful, not overcooked. I could taste the cheese, and I love that they grilled the sauerkraut. When it came out with that Russian sauce on it, it had all the flavors that I had hoped and expected. My wife had the goat burger, which has goat cheese on it and some peppers on top . The flavor of the peppers was wonderful and the heat was not bad at all. The flavor of the burger was really elevated because they use a flame and I could taste it in the food. The french fries were perfect. They were nice and crisp outside and creamy inside and I can taste fresh oil and they used fresh oil. You always know when french fries taste off. It's usually because there is many fresh oil used that will never happen here. We want to return again when the weather is nice so we can use the roof portion of the café and be able to eat our lunch outdoors above the streets and watch the action .

Yelp
I went to Triple Rock Brewery & Alehouse for Wednesday trivia night. It is located in a really beautiful part of Berkeley. When I walked in we had to show ID, get a stamp and then we could head inside. There are two areas. The smaller room to enter with a bar and bathrooms in the back and then a quite large room to the right decorated with string lights and teaming with large long tables. There appeared to be a game of shuffleboard in the back and the trivia questions were shown on the TV's. I've been to several trivia hosting establishments and this one was by far the most organized and had the best graphics. Our group logged in on an elected team members phone. Then an MC narrated the questions and we input our guesses into our phone. There were about 6 rounds or so of 6-10 questions drawn from various pop culture categories. The pace of the trivia was very good although for me it went a little long. It started around 8pm and ended around 10:30pm. I ordered a smash burger and it was super tasty. I also got to try the spinach and artichoke dip and wow! Truly fire. The drink I ordered was pretty good too. 10/10 on food and beverages for sure. All in all its a fun place to come:)

Yelp
My friends and I came here to attend a friend's band's concert. Hubby dropped my friend and I off and another couple of friends drove but had a hard time finding parking on a Friday night so they parked in a lot. This is a humongous place with two big rooms and a rooftop with seating. I hadn't eaten dinner so using the QR code on the table, you can order drinks and meal and/or appetizers and pay on your phone, very convenient! They have a huge menu! We had a Diamond Dealer moscow mule, beer, cheese croquettes, fried brussel sprouts, a basket of french fries and a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw. The drinks and food came out pretty quickly and there is plenty of seating inside the venue. I thoroughly enjoyed the Diamond drink, along with the crispy french fries and fried chicken sandwich. Next time, I'll try one of their beers since it is a brewery!

Yelp
Oh man, it's been years, even decades, since I last entered the front doors of this longtime brewpub open since 1986. I just figured I was getting too old and crotchety to melt into the crowd here...young sports-obsessed, beer guzzlers that presumably congregate here under the impression that pork nachos are a superfood. I imagined I would come across like old Mr. Gower. Remember him? He was in George Bailey's nightmare in "It's a Wonderful Life" when he was thrown out of the bar for poisoning a customer years before. Not that anyone here would've thrown me out. What drew me back was a sidewalk sandwich board announcing "Alcoholic Slushies!" There's just something about a libation not unlike a Hawaiian shave ice soaked in booze. The appearance of boozy slushies makes me say, "I belong here." Only $7.50 for a full 16-ounce Mason jar, they've been appropriately dubbed lushies. Flavors change daily, but I've had the Pina Colada Lushie (photo), and with Jamie W. later, had the equally luscious Pineapple Guava Rum Lushie (photo). On yet another visit, the machine was being cleaned, so we tried their short and sweet Rocktail list. We tried the $10 Gold Velour with Klir red, lemonade, and blackberry syrup, and the $12 Diamond Dealer, Triple Rock's version of a Moscow Mule (photo). Both were potent delights though overshadowed by the absent lushies. I've even eaten here. I had the $14 BBQ Pork Sando where slow roasted pork shoulder was drowned in BBQ sauce and piled with apple cider vinegar slaw on a filone bun (photo). It was just alright. DRINKS - 4.5 stars...lushies are the new black, the rocktails do fine as a backup FOOD - 3 stars...kinda underwhelmed by the BBQ sauce AMBIANCE - 4 stars...spacious in here with even a rooftop for al fresco drunkenness SERVICE - 4.5 stars...nice staff (shout-out to Inoke) TOTAL - 4 stars...living the lush life RELATED - Exploring Berkeley? Yelp
No waitress or server stress. You order and pay by VR code. I honestly wish every restaurant operated in such a way. The restaurant and bar were super busy. However, our food arrived quickly. I am huge fan of the portion size and menu selection. It's not your typical sports bar food, which is great. Also, it's not your typical sports bar vibe. You can watch the game or have a girls' night or have a family dinner. This spot is appropriate for any occasion. Highly recommended! Great spot!

Yelp
Found this spot two blocks from our hotel. Wanted to see how college peeps chilled at a spot like this and definitely got that feeling. Had a good dinner with my dad and enjoyed some Beers. My burger was damn good and my pop enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak. The bartender was a Detroit guy so that was a cool touch. Definitely a good place to enjoy in Berkeley.

Ruby C.

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner with friends and it definitely hits the spot if you're craving burgers and beers! I got the blue rock burger and the pomegranate cider with a side of onion rings to share. The pomegranate cider was amazing, super tasty and one of the best ciders I've had! The blue rock burger was also delicious. The caramelized onions paired so well with the smoky bacon and blue cheese. Onion rings were a hit also and the sauce that came with it was so good! This place is a very casual brewery so it's all complete self service. You seat yourself, order/pay online, and grab utensils/condiments by yourself. Not something that bothered me but it is something to be aware of since the signs aren't too clear. Overall great spot in downtown and I definitely would come back!

Grant S.

Yelp
Really good food! Unfortunately no photos, but I've had the onion rings which were crispy, huge, and flavorful; the Impossible burger which was delicious with fresh veggies, and their House Salad which was also nice. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly as well. To top it off, whether you want a secluded study space or have fun playing shuffleboard with friends, this place is great. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We were trying to find a bar to watch football games before the OSU - Cal Berkeley game and stumbled upon Tripe Rock. It has a great vibe, everyone dressed in game day apparel, super friendly patrons and staff. We requested a tv to be switched to a game we wanted to watch and they happily complied. We order some beverages, entrees and desserts to pass the hours away before game time. Yummy food that hit the spot especially the desert. All in all - a perfect location to socialize, watch tv and get in our food and drink fill before game time.

Yelp
Food: 3.6/5 NO ONE ON HERE TALKS ABOUT HOW AMAZING THEIR DRY RUB WINGS ARE AND HOW ITS ONE OF THE ONLY THINGS SAVING THEIR FOOD MENU!!! came with some friends for a snack and some drinks and got the Wings to share with BBQ and Dry Rub flavor and a plate of nachos. usually, we solely come here for the Monkeyhead beers for Trock Thursdays (come for the Berkeley college experience on these days), but it was late and one of the only places still open near us away from Telegraph. the dry rub seasoning they use is a little smokey, a little sweet, some subtle cajun spice in there; genuinely some of the best wings i've had. the chicken was juicy and we all inhaled them within like 5 minutes of it getting to our table. bbq was typical, nachos were aight. cocktails were mid af. cant say anything else about the rest of their menu. i really only came here to bump up the hype on those dry rub wings. so if you are feeling a little bit hungry, i swear you should get the wings.

Curt B.

Yelp
Great beer, great food! Will definitely come back. Highly recommend the IPAX and Reuben Rock.

Brittany E.

Yelp
So...... if your looking for table service do not come here. I read the reviews that said you scan a QR code and they bring you the food. Wellp it's true. They literally JUST bring you food. No check backs, nothing. You need anything add it to the bill and maybe someone comes. They did tell me they are short staffed today but come on.... Not a single check back super disappointed..... My Ruben came out so toasted I couldn't even finish it. My sweet potato frys were cold. Just so much potential and they just dropped the ball all around. It wasn't even busy. Maybe 4 tables. Terrible service and food is mediocre. The worst Ruben I've ever had in my life. Ambiance is nice actually the only thing good about this place. If you like being ignored and asking for everything on your phone then this is your place. They'd be better off just doing a to go order instead of half assed table service.

Yelp
WHEN: Wednesday, 11/16/22 @ 8pm Parking: no private lot so be prepared to find street parking. The bus stops close by so if you're a student I'd recommend taking the bus that way you can drink and not worry about driving Now to the review... TRIPLE ROCK TRIVIA NIGHT!!! We got here at 7:50 right before trivia starts (8-10pm) and the place was packed. They have a huge room with open seating that they use for trivia on Wednesday nights. When we got here every seat was taken but we were lucky to catch a group leaving. They have a QR code at every table so you order everything online and they bring the food to your table. What I got: 1. 20oz Star Bed ($8.75) -- a crisp and fruity beer #love 2. Rock Hopper Burger ($13) -- a very mid burger that comes with a side of homemade kettle chips. the chips were great but the burger was so bad Overall, food is definitely a no go there. But the ambiance is GREAT!! The trivia nights are so fun and executed well with new questions every week. The drinks are bomb and the ordering is made even easier with the online process

Katherine G.

Yelp
Stopped by for some drinks after dinner. I'm not a huge fan of beer which feels weird here since it's basically all beer, but they did have a few cocktail selections as well. When you arrive, you choose to sit wherever you want and then scan a qr code on the table and order from there. Then, they bring your drinks out to you. The inside smells strongly of beer as expected, but it's super spacious. I decided to get gold velour, one of the 3 cocktails they offered. It arrived pretty quickly, but wasn't too spectacular. It tasted a bit watered down, and while there was a hint of alcohol if definitely wasn't super present. I will say, though, it is cheaper than a lot of other cocktails around here. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I did enjoy the overall ambiance of the place.

Nick B.

Yelp
My wife and I hosted a wedding welcome event in the Richter Room at Triple Rock Brewery. The in-house beer selection and the large party menu items were great for all of the guests. Chelsea and the staff were super helpful and accommodating for our large, 90-person private event on a holiday weekend. They even helped set up an A/V system for a quick speech and we were able to control our own Spotify playlist on the sound system. We'd recommend them if you are looking to host a casual, brewpub event in downtown Berkeley.

Jake T.

Yelp
A group of friends and I, along with our kids, decided to get together for a sunny Sunday lunch and drinks. Triple rock was the perfect choice for the occasion. We were a party of 15 and the service was amazing. We were seated easily and enjoyed perusing g the menu while we sipped our beverages. The food was absolutely delicious. The kids and the adults had a great time! If you're looking for a family friendly Sunday lunch with good beverages, sportsball on big tvs, and awesome reasonably priced food, give triple rock a try!

Ewa U.

Yelp
Great place for some good craft brews , food and screens to watch your fave game to! With ample indoor and outdoor seating - this is a perfect weekend hang out spot and could be particularly nice if coming from SF - in case you want to escape the summer cold weather for a change.

John B.

Yelp
- Great beer - Friendly service - yummy food and lots of options - Ambiance is okay, unchanged for a while Triple Rock is a classic Berkeley spot located right next to campus! I've been here a few times in the past but it had been years since my last visit. My wife and I decided to come here with a couple of friends after I suggested it. Inside, the ambiance seems to have been mostly unchanged since I went. It seemed like they added an entirely new dining section to the right when you walk in, but I wasn't quite sure. The main bar and seating areas are largely unchanged, and to be honest I'm not the biggest fan. It all feels a little grimey and there were quite a few flies buzzing around. The beer list, however, was excellent as always. I wanted a Monkey Head but that's only offered on Thursdays, so I went with a porter instead. It was great! I shared the brussell sprouts and the potato twinkie things. Both tasted great and were the perfect thing to share. I really appreciated our servers who were very fast and didn't mind explaining things on the menu to us. Thank you so much Triple Rock!

Justin K.

Yelp
Great food, but disappointed they removed their parklet. You never know if the roof deck is going to be open or not, so it's no longer possible to plan a covid-safe dining experience.

David C.

Yelp
This place is very cool and has various rooms with a rooftop deck (partially opened) and a front patio off of the street parklet. They have a great varieties of in house made beers. They have a brewery on the spot. And the wings are great too.

Jenna T.

Yelp
Came here recently to catch the Warriors game with some friends. They do have security checking vax cards and IDs and they stamp you. It was crowded and they have hella TVs. Tables were left dirty until we asked someone if they can wipe it down. They also have small tables outside for dining. They have good beer and you can order and pay with the QR code which is super convenient. We didn't order food this time. The only TV that was playing the Warriors game was changed to a football game that was already on another TV! lol we voiced our disappointment and the waitress seemed annoyed but was able to change another TV for the game. haha.

Jonathan U.

Yelp
Great food, plenty of space, many televisions with prompt service. I would appreciate if they incorporated more non-alcoholic beer and mocktail options to complement their great array of alcoholic beverages offered.

Greg M.

Yelp
Has a nice selection of beer which are all pretty solid. Food is good & you can get a burger & fries for cheaper than a lot of places.

Christian T.

Yelp
This is one of my main hangs. Love the sandwiches and beer options. Was just there in Feburary for SF beer week. Enjoyed a great beer flight with Terpenes. And the staff was so helpful with describing the flight optins and details. This is a pub for beer lovers!! Please bring back Sour Sunday though.. I miss it so!

Michael W.

Yelp
The food was good as usual. We sat at the table right outside of the kitchen. We ordered ourselves through the qr code. I watched our order sitting under the heat lamps for over 15 minutes and arrived cold. They delivered it before the beers were delivered. It was clear they were understaffed as I saw the entire shelf below the heat lamp FULL! Good food, nice place to watch sports but management needs to step up and hire more people or jump in and help out! I had to grab my own plates that I ordered on the app and I Also had to grab my own to go container.

John M.

Yelp
We stopped in for a couple of beers while walking in the area before meeting up with our daughter. The draw for us was the roof top tables, which were nice but had no view whatsoever. Otherwise, here is what we noticed: - Decent selection of beers either their own or others - All ordering is done via an app - The beers tasted pretty good - We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, which was OK but nothing special Bottom line: OK place for some beers and a casual bite, but not one of the best craft breweries I've been to.

Meggie C.

Yelp
Busy Thursday night and the staff never missed a beat. A lot of larger parties so the service was impressive! The wings and nachos were great. Big selection of beer and a small wine list as well. Finish it off with the deep fried Oreos. We will be back!

Caroline F.

Yelp
It was perfect to grab some beers, a few ok bites, and see the game. Only request- please fix the slamming from door and I bump you 1/2 star.

Sierra N.

Yelp
Sad day, we're taking a Triple Rock hiatus in the hopes they work out some major kinks! We've been loyal customers for years and even drive 30 min and scramble for parking to get dinner here. The last straw... On a Sunday night we arrived at 8:30pm (9:00pm closing). MID-ORDER via QR code they shut down ordering for the night early and wouldn't budge. So we got our beer, fries, and my salad. But not my partner's salad. Our waiter explained the situation to the manager who wouldn't hear it. In what world do you serve half the table? Our waiter was lovely and apologetic about the situation but that's the only nice thing I can say about our experience. Other cumulative issues... A few months ago I ordered my usual Cesar salad and it was made with cabbage instead of romaine. Luckily they swapped it out. But bizarre. Their beer is hit or miss lately. They rarely have a solid solid sour or Pilsner these days. They were out of romaine and salmon for months (even though romaine was readily available at grocery stores). At this point, Triple Rock is no longer worth it. We'll be giving our business to Cato's Ale House and Ben N Nicks in Oakland instead.

Selena L.

Yelp
Stopped here after finals in the evening, and was a bit disappointed. We got a table outside, but all the tables were slightly dirty. The drinks were also not impressive and pretty average. I think there's better options for drinks around.

Saumya S.

Yelp
This is a great spot to get some beer in Berkeley. Lots of options with their home brews and guest brews - something for everyone. They have ample seating and a roof top as well. Cool vibes .

Brian B.

Yelp
If you're looking for a tavern-like atmosphere and good beer, Triple Rock is a place you will enjoy! As the name indicates ("brewery and ale house"), Triple Rock is more known for its beer than its cocktails (so you may not want to venture here if you are not a fan of beer). That being said, I really enjoy the ambiance. The dim lighting, the well-dressed and friendly bartenders, and the tasty beer all add up to a good time in my book. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in Downtown Berkeley near Shattuck.

Brian W.

Yelp
Proof of vaccination required. No problem, but Scanning my license like I'm providing a fake ID (I'm 57) and then they wouldn't let my daughter in since she didn't have a state issued ID. She is 14. She had her student ID. This place is a joke. We won't be back!

Sidney M.

Yelp
Great Time Simple tasty food! Well balanced beer. Usually the place is super busy but today was quiet. Service was fast

Vickie C.

Yelp
The was good. We had a French dip and a grilled cheese sandwich with wine. The service was good and friendly. We sat in the bar. Since it's a college town, it had a relaxed atmosphere. They do allow dogs we noticed. My husband is allergic, we didn't notice an affect.

Audio F.

Yelp
It's been over ten years since i last walked through these doors. I used to frequent this establishment as a young twenty something dude strictly for the monkey head cause i was under the impression that the higher the alcohol the better the beer obviously!!!! I think i had a few buddies that worked there over the years. Anyway it was a cold rainy day and i was looking for a lunch joint that had food "AND" BEER. Made a rash decision to come in here and i don't regret it one bit. I'll be completely honest they never were known for the food here in my book but the beer here is phenomenal!! I appreciated the value option what they call "chow and brau." I got a grilled chicken sandwich, fries and a 20oz glass of craft beer, Session up vista hop pale ale, all for $12. The place seems to be thriving which is good to know i will have to go back soon!!

Leo S.

Yelp
Went in a group of 6, and nobody was happy with their food. Burgers were somehow bitter and dry, salad was mid, and chicken sandwiches were also dry. The Brussel sprouts were also pretty bad, and the sweet potato fries were the only good item of the night. Service was good, food came fast.

James M.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a snack and a drink before continuing our day in Berkeley. We decided upon the Cheesy Bacon Fries, which proved to be adequate, but certainly nothing special. We got the large and the portions were generous, but the fries themselves were pretty basic, lacking a lot of flavor or crispiness. There wasn't really enough cheese sauce on top of the fries to be able to enjoy them all. I've been here before and had a better dining experience, but I wouldn't recommend this particular dish to anyone. The service was prompt and we were in and out in very short order so it served its purpose, but I was honestly hoping for more from a place I had fond memories of during my time in Berkeley.

Emma S.

Yelp
Triple Rock is a great spot! The food is very good, and most of all I love their seating options. They have some of everything: an outdoor space, an intimate dimmer-lit back space, which would be good for a date, the booths in the middle feel more family friendly, and then there are some scattered tables in the front with several TVs, which make it feel more like a sports bar. They also have a roof deck which I don't recall what it's like so I can't comment on it, but it just adds to my point that they check every box for seating. I believe it's dog friendly too. I have brought my dog in and nobody batted an eye but I'm not 100% sure about that. I imagine dogs are definitely welcome at least in the front outdoor area. The wings are good, ranch is great. We ordered half BBQ wings and half their habanero option. The BBQ was exactly what you would expect, but the habanero fell a tad short, the sauce had very little flavor, and surprisingly was not very spicy. We ended up ordering a side of buffalo sauce to put on the habanero and that fixed them right up. We also ordered the club sandwich and it was a-ok, bread was a little thick and dry, but still good. Toasting the bread would have really kicked it up a notch. The nachos and decadent french fry options they offer all look and sound amazing as well. Service is friendly, honestly just a great spot. Parking is horrible but it's close to all kinds of public transpo.

Jillian P.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a beer with friends or coworkers. The environment is old school sports bar meets industrial warehouse. Plenty of space and seating- so don't be shy about inviting the whole gang! I haven't tried much from their food menu, but their fries are solid. If you have trouble deciding, I recommend the motley fries, since they have a bit of everything. Always a strong selection of beers to choose from. This time I ordered the 'Merci a latte' and was very happy with my choice. I'm a sucker for darker beers that have flavors of coffee or vanilla (this one has both)! Recommend for a casual/comfy spot to meet up with friends or watch a game!

Yelp
Had a lovely lunch after spending the day at the Berkeley Botanical Garden. Thankfully they have a lot of nice outdoor seating and indoor open floor plan, which helped make things feel safer. Unique ordering system: scan QR code and order online. My only hiccup with that was we had to go inside to clarify some dietary restrictions. We ordered the pulled pork sandwiches - Wow!! They were delicious. A bit greasy but the flavor was great and the slaw is a excellent compliment. I wish I had more! And those french fries - not sure if it's been a while or something, but they were incredible! Perfection! We had to order some brews! Got a In Techniflavor, really tasty IPA. I tried their flight: Pony Gold Weizenbier - this ended up being my favorite, cloudy and definitely worth the try Extra Extra IPAX Saturday Roller

Yelp
Their outdoor seating was so perfect! I had the nachos, cheese sticks, and a flight of beer. The beer selection was quite tasty and the service was super friendly. I will Be going back soon.

Yelp
Enjoyed having lunch in the sun in their parklet. I love me a Reuben sandwich, and this one was among the best I've tried. Garlic fries on point. And great beers...obvi... Using the automated/QR ordering system was easy and efficient. Beers were delivered within about 60 seconds of hitting the order button...pretty amazing. Food came out quickly and efficiently. Will definitely be back for another Reuben!

Yelp
WHEN: Saturday @8pm To my surprise this huge brewery was not packed, with plenty of empty tables to choose from! I don't usually go to breweries because I don't drink beer or care for sports. But my partner recommend the food here, and I was in the mood to try a new spot for dinner. Here's what I had: TRIPLE ROCKS - $6 Three (3) Mac + Cheese croquettes and chipotle mayo. This was presently well on a bed of arugula (yay free side salaed!), and I thought it was pretty tasty! COCONUT-MEATBALLS - $7 Five (5) Small beef + pork meatballs, Coconut-ginger broth, Thai herbs, Fresh Jalepenos. This was much sweeter than expected, but good! I honestly wish it came with a side of white rice because of the broth, hehe. ARUGULA BOWL - $8 Organic Arugula, Apples, Shredded parmesan, Candied walnuts, Lemon Vinaigrette. I added the Salmon for an additional $6. I was very impressed with how the salmon came out. It was crispy on t he outside, and moist on the inside. I'm always afraid of the salmon coming out dry. The overall dish was so good with the different tastes of both sweet and savory. I really enjoyed this dish! I figured since I was here I should get a drink. Since I don't drink beer, I figure a cider will do: GOLDEN GATE CIDER - $7.50 This had apples in it and it tasted pretty light. I was too full to finish it, but hey, I gave it a shot! I like it here, and would come back with a larger group. Service was very great, and the staff here are friendly. I'm happy that even though I don't drink beer, I know I can order food that has great quality.

Yelp
I love going to triple rock. I took my mom here when she visited me from out of town and she wouldn't stop raving about it (and she doesn't even like beer.) it's always a nice surprise to find out what's on tap because they switch it up so frequently. I also took my dad when he visited and he liked the fly away pilsner so much he made me get a 16 oz bottle to go. The bottle is so cute and the little handle made it easy to carry. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available and you order by scanning the QR code on the table. Service is always super fast and ambiance is always very laidback.

Yelp
I always disliked Triple Rock before because I thought their beers were excessively bitter, but I thought that was just because I didn't like beer. Now that I've spent the last month being forced to get acclimated to the taste of beer (i.e. traveling Central Europe), I can definitively say that I just don't like Triple Rock's beer. You won't find lagers here - just macho ale. If you live off IPAs, you'll probably like it, but I'm glad to be moving on. A lot of people come here for the vibe, and while there is plenty of seating, I'm not really a fan. The board games are like, for normies. The vibe is somehow both loud and lonely. I like cozy bars. That being said, the monkey head is a good deal if you want to get easily wasted. The taste is a little too sweet and the aftertaste a bit weird, but it's very easy to drink, has a shockingly high alcohol content, and comes in a 25 oz bottle. The burger patties are also pretty good, and if you come early enough for the check in deal or special, definitely worth.

Yelp
**I'd like to start by saying please give this restaurant another shot if you had tried the food pre pandemic and been turned off** My first experience at Triple Rock was in 2019. I got takeout, the service was great but the food was not dry and bland. Fast forward to 2020 when outdoor dining was briefly open. They remodeled and made one of the nicest outdoor areas in Berkeley i'd say. They were also some of the first to get heaters! Big points for that. They have patio outdoor dining upstairs - advertised as roof top- super nice and covid safe feeling. They have mastered contactless ordering. After that they were constantly busy! Its so close to my house, I figured give it another shot. I ordered the nachos and added chicken. BOMB. Completely different then my first experience. I was impressed with the quality, flavor, quantity and price. My friend ordered the potato croquets and she said she could basically live off of just them for the rest of her life. I also went back a couple times just to get beers. They have great beer. Get a growler, you'll be back for more no doubt. I can't wait to go back. I'll update my review with photos as soon as i'm back!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner with a large group. A bunch of us ended up with the worst food poisoning ever. I am not joking, it was the worst nausea I have ever experienced in my life. I ended up in the emergency room because I was so badly dehydrated and thought I had appendicitis, but they confirmed it was food poisoning. Further confirmed after finding out that at least 5 of us from the group were all having the same terrible symptoms. The food was actually really good but I will never come back here after that experience.
