The 18 Best (And Worst) Foods At Dodger Stadium

"Deep Fried PB&J ($15) Location: 7th Inning Sweets/Trolley Treats (Field 46, Reserve 2) Dodger Stadium has a tragic history of discontinuing its most cherished desserts (RIP Cool-A-Coo and Carnation Frozen Chocolate Malt), but we hope this deep-fried PB&J is here to stay because it’s a legend in the making. Imagine a Disneyland Monte Cristo sandwich, except oozing warm peanut butter, bananas, and grape jelly. Do we need to sell it beyond that?" - garrett snyder

Darlings, let me spill the tea or should I say, sugar on the absolute gem that is the Trolley Candy Treats shop in California Adventure Park. This isn't just any candy store, it's a full-blown spectacle of sugary delights. First off, let's talk about that magical window. Yes, you read that right. You get to watch these confectionery wizards at work, crafting candies so divine they should come with a halo. It's like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory but without the creepy boat ride. Watching them pull taffy and dip apples is like witnessing an edible ballet. Mesmerizing? Absolutely. Now, onto the goods. The selection is, in a word, epic. Caramel apples that look like they've been kissed by a unicorn and chocolates that make your taste buds dance. It's a sweet lover's paradise, and the best part? You get to see some of these goodies being made right before your eyes. And let's not forget the customer service. These folks are sweeter than the candy they sell. Staff especially Steff is stellar! She gives out recommendations with sugary seal of approval! Got a question, they’ve got answers and a smile that can light up Main Street. Need a special treat for a special someone? They'll package it up like it's the crown jewels. In short, if you're looking for a candy experience that's as entertaining as it is delicious, look no further. This place is a five-star, sugar-coated dream come true. So grab your wallet, your sweet tooth and get ready to be dazzled.

Google
Trolley Treats is a cute little shop full of yummy treats. Tiffany was super sweet and helpful. I got the big Mickey head ginger bread cookie, rice crispy treats and English toffee. I have to say that the big Nikki had cookie was far superior to the little Mickey cookie that everybody is raving about 10 out of 10 would totally recommend the big Mickey had over the little Mickey cookies. The shop has all sorts of cool little knickknacks and yummy treats to choose from the cast members are helpful and sweet and the store is super clean. The English toffee is so delicious 😋 the rice crispy tasted like peanut butter but still tasty. The pineapple cookie and cupcake. I was told both cookie and cupcake tastes like pineapple. That’s a big no! It was horrible and no hint of pineapple at all. Very disappointed. I spoke with Audrey the manager who told me that was the flavor the cast members were told they are. They have no refund or exchanges on food items. I love this store however I’m extremely disappointed in the management and her attitude. The English toffee and churro toffee absolutely delicious a must try.

The best treat you can get here is the churro toffee square. It's very tasty. Gets a little hard and brittle, but it's still delicious. Their cupcakes are pretty good as well but a little too sweet and frosting heavy. Everything is relatively well priced for Disney food.

Google
So many choices for delicious themed treats. We come here very time we visit DisneyLand!

We got the pineapple cookie. It was huge. Not overly sweet. It did taste like pineapple. Service was quick.

Google
Trolley Treats is a nice pitstop for desert. My wife got this giant pineapple flavored cookie and it was banging. Surprisingly good flavor combo. I got the chocolate and caramel covered marshmallow and it hit the spot for my sweet tooth.

Google
Great place to pick up a sweet snack while you're at the park. Grab a couple of treats on your way out too! I LOVE the Abuelita Fudge! It's not usually labeled but you can tell which one it is from the mini marshmallows embedded into the chocolate.

Lee The Panda

Google
A small pastry counter with iconic Disney treats. The counter rarely has a long line and offers a great selection of sweets for those looking for something more than prepackaged candies.

Yelp
Cute! Adorable! Yummy treats! Get the cutest and funnest seasonal caramel apples here. They are always decorated to perfection. BUT THE TOP S-TIER TREAT OF ALL TIME IS THE CHURRO TOFFEE. I've had it multiple times. I don't know what they did last time, but it was INSANELY delicious. This is a must get treat! I haven't met one person that says the churro toffee is not delicious. And if you're in the mood, the dark chocolate covered pineapple spear is not only viral, but tasty too! They LOAD on the dark chocolate (so if you don't love dark chocolate don't get it) and the pineapple was super sweet.

Yelp
OVERALL 4.5 Stars***** Candy Apple: 5 tyars***** Service: 4 Stars**** Ambiance: 4 Stars Price: 3 Stars*** I recently ventured to Trolley Candy Treats in Downtown Disney's California Adventure, and let me tell you, this sweet tooth heaven is like Andy's room--filled with delightful surprises. My mission was clear: to taste their famous Toy Story Little Green Men candy apple. Buzz Lightyear himself would be proud of the intergalactic experience that awaited me. The Little Green Men candy apple did not disappoint. The eyes, crafted from white chocolate, stared back at me like they were about to announce, "The clawww!" The ears, made from marshmallows, added a playful touch, while the outer shell, a glorious layer of white chocolate painted green, sat atop a buttery caramel coating. This ensemble embraced a juicy, crispy Granny Smith apple at its core. The combination of flavors was as harmonious as Woody and Buzz's friendship. The sweet, creamy white chocolate melded perfectly with the rich, buttery caramel. The apple's tart crunch provided the perfect counterbalance, making each bite an explosion of happiness worthy of a Pizza Planet celebration. And those marshmallow ears? An added bonus, just like discovering Mr. Potato Head's hidden compartments. Disney's concoctions, particularly their candy apples, are second to none--comparable to the wonder of Andy's toy collection. This treat made my day at the park infinitely sweeter and is a must-try for every Willy Wonka aficionado out there. Experiencing Pixar Fest at California Adventure was the cherry on top of my magical day. So, to infinity and beyond--don't miss out on this delectable adventure!

Yelp
The cutest treats!! Trolley Treats is where you go for all the cute Disney desserts. They offer some pre-packaged goodies if you are buying a gift for a friend or family member. Or they have the freshly made items behind the glass window. They have it all here really. Trolley Treats hits on the sweat and salty. If you are looking for candy, popcorn, cookies, and more! The Mickey Moused shaped desserts are adorable, but don't always taste the best (in my opinion lol)... But overall, the goodies here are still worth it. The candy apples are delicious!

Yelp
Bought some sour gummies for my daughter that is doing a "candy salad" with her friends at school. This shop has a great candy selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful to my daughters. We love the Disney treats

Yelp
Disney sweets HEAVEN! Mobile order being available comes in so clutch at the end of the night when you no longer can wait in any more lines lol. Included the price, picture, description and exactly what shows up on the app when you place a mobile order. Cute candy shop vibes that brings me back to childhood with the nostalgic look of the store.

Yelp
Is it really a trip to the Disneyland resort without grabbing a treat from Trolley Trips on Buena Vista Street?! I think not! You can order/pay through the Disneyland app to avoid waiting in line, so pop in for a quick treat. It's a beautiful location, and even has a great selection of treats to take as souvenirs if you also want to treat a loved one.

Yelp
*** Snacks *** Trolley Candy Treats, conveniently located next to Starbucks, is the perfect stop to fill up on delectable snacks and grab your favorite drink to complement the treats. The friendliest service you can expect from Disney awaits you at Trolley Candy Treats. The staff here understands that exploring the various treat varieties can be a delightful experience, so they never rush you as you window shop through the mouthwatering options. They are more than happy to share information about each treat, making your visit even more enjoyable. Let's talk about the snacks - the Mickey Churro Cookie. Beyond its charming Mickey-shaped design, the flavors and textures resemble those of cookies you'd find at any excellent pandería. Though it was slightly dry for my tastes, the overall experience is still pleasant and enjoyable. Next up is the beloved Churro Toffee, an absolute favorite throughout the park. This treat is so irresistibly sweet and crunchy, capturing the delicious essence of a classic churro. I typically don't mind sharing, but this is one of those "get your own" snacks. Another delightful treat you can't miss is the Mickey Peanut Butter Sandwich. Covered in chocolate, this peanut butter delight is beloved by both cast members and peanut butter enthusiasts alike. The sandwich boasts an impressively thick layer of peanut butter, more than an inch in size, making it a truly satisfying and indulgent treat. In summary, Trolley Candy Treats is a must-visit snack shop at Disney California. With its prime location next to Starbucks, it's the ideal spot to enjoy a variety of delicious snacks alongside your favorite beverage. The welcoming service and the array of delightful treats, including the Mickey Churro Cookie, Churro Toffee, and Mickey Peanut Butter Sandwich, make this place a delightful stop during your Disney adventures. Treat yourself to these delectable goodies and embrace the magic of Disneyland!

Yelp
This is a fun place to stop if you want to partake of some novelty items the park has to offer. I had heard about the viral churro toffee on social media, so of course, I had to check that out. The shop is located directly next to several other shops so it can be easy to venture away from the treats and over to something else. All the shops here have the classic Hollywood look and feel. The specialty items are located in a large case and you get in line to have one of the employees assist you when it's your turn. Similar to a bakery or donut shop. My youngest daughter opted for a forkey cake pop, which she said was delicious. I went ahead and got a couple squares of the churro toffee because it looked as amazing as it sounded. The staff is friendly and speedy, even though they were very busy. While the items are delicious, I do feel you're paying a premium for what you get just because it's Disney. All in all, if you're okay with that, I'd say to try the churro toffee and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
A must if you're looking for sweet treats or souvenirs for yourself or family/friends! It may get busy and crowded, but cast members are great at directing guests where to go. Trolley treats offers packaged Disney-branded candy, popcorn, and other treats, as well as a counter where you can order items such as cookies and Candy apples. A recent favorite of ours is the churro toffee, I highly recommend it!

Yelp
So, this was my first time visiting Trolley Treats and I liked it because it's kind of like you walk into it by accident. I don't remember there being a sign outside of the building that says, TROLLEY TREATS, but I could be wrong. That being said, it's totally empty for the most part. I've waited in line at Marcelline's in Downtown Disney and Candy Palace at the end of the night is another wait I'd like to avoid, which makes Trolley Treats a hidden gem. They carry the same things you would find at the other two places with less of a wait. I've tried most of the candy apples, they look good but taste ok. I HIGHLY recommend the toffee, especially if you're a fan of almond roca. It's almond roca but a million times better and fresher and easier on your teeth! Also, the churro toffee is a must for anyone. Churro toffee sounds not good, but I promise you, if you try theirs, you will be addicted. It looks super plain but it's the most memorable piece of candy I've ever eaten. I won't buy it, because I know how addicting it is, but everyone should try it once in their life. Am I still talking about toffee or drugs? Toffee.

Yelp
What a sweet shop! Yum! Everything in here makes your mouth water! Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, marshmallow randomness... they have everything! The line is usually way shorter than in Main Street and the music is always perfect! I love the lollipops and the smell that you immediately can't help but to admire. I love everything about this sweet shop, I want to eat it all!!!! Can that happen? That would be someeeee Disney magic!!

Yelp
Time & Date: Friday, 8/27/21 @ 6pm Crowd: store was not at all busy Location: Buena Vista near the entrance When at Disney, you'll see Mickey Mouse head shaped desserts everywhere (no surprise there). Before I left, I made a stop at Trolley Treats to check out all the Disney themed desserts and picked up this pink sprinkles frosted sugar cookie. It was the soft type of cookie that crumbles easily when you break it. Not amazing, but it was cute & photo worthy!

Yelp
Trolley Treats offers a wide array of cookies, candies, chocolates, and other sweet treats that are widely available in both DCA and Disneyland. I was here for the churro cookie which, at first glance, did not see any available in the window. I asked the cashier on the side and she checked with another worker who said they were just coming out of the prep area and about to be displayed! They both got excited to see more stocked and happy to serve a customer (me) looking for that cookie! A quick walk through the line, Magic Key discount applied, and I was on my way! I dealt with a separate cashier at checkout but he, along with the two girls who first helped, were all kinda, friendly, and worked fast to get the line moving. Now the cookie itself was okay, but by "okay" I mean it just did not have that churro flavor I hoped for. This tasted more like a snickerdoodle which I guess a churro is essentially a snickerdoodle having the same or similar cinnamon-sugar flavors and ingredients. But at the same time, this tasted more like a cinnamon-sugar cookie. By no means was this bad because I absolutely love the sugar cookies at Disney. This cookie with thick, chewy, soft, and the cinnamon notes were so good! The icing, although minimal, added a touch of sweetness and creamy texture.

Yelp
With dining closed at Disney California Adventure for the near future, Trolley Treats is the only place in the park to grab something to munch on. Everything is either pre-packaged or packaged for you to take on the go. All food must be eaten outside the property. After finishing Christmas shopping at Downtown Disney, I made my way here to see the reopened Buena Vista Street. The experience was a little less magical, but it was nice to see all the holiday-themed candies and treats on display. The front door was closed, entrance through the side instead. They removed the queue for Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream to ensure enough space to social distance. While waiting in line, you will be tempted to pick up a few sweets on display. Rows and rows of lollipops, peanut brittle, and popcorn greet you as you make your way to the front. Hand-pulled candy canes were not available this season, but there are a variety of cookies, cupcakes, caramel apples, and Rice Krispies treats to choose from. Some of the more unique items include churro toffee and peppermint mallow wand. I chose the giant sugar cookie dressed in a Santa suit, the churro toffee, and the Rice Krispies treat that was shaped as Mickey, topped with M&M'S® and drizzled with a dash of chocolate. The toffee is one of my favorite snacks, so simple yet so delicious. It has a nice thin layer of white chocolate, it's not hard to chew on at all, and the cinnamon sugar just finishes it off nicely! All the treats tasted fresh, and it was good the next day as well. After completing your purchase, the exit is through the merchandise shop Julius Katz & Sons. I'm sure that's on purpose, make sure to grab some pins and collectibles on the way out to support the Mouse.

Yelp
Great place to stop in while Disney California Adventure Park if you are craving something sweet. They offer a great variety of sweets from cookies, cupcakes, lollipops and cotton candy. Plus much more. We decided to stop in before leaving the park for the night for a treat to enjoy later. We went for more of the churro toffee (which is AMAZING) and of course impulse bought extra stuff. We opted for a Mickey sugar cookie with a hint of pineapple in the frosting, a chocolate cake pop, cotton candy and confetti popcorn. We also bought a churro cupcake at the recommendation of the girl behind the counter. Everything was amazing. It was pretty pricey, but that is honestly to be expected at Disney. For example the cupcake was $6 as was the cake pop. We would buy it all again, so I call that a win.

Yelp
Snagged a lemon hand pie here and it was delicious! This is 1 of 2 places you can pick up baked sweet treats in DCA.

Yelp
This is a specialty candy & treats store located inside Disney's California Adventure Park. It is located at the end of Buena Vista Street/the main street on the right. One can find LOTS of fresh made specialty treats at this store. The cases of cupcakes, rice cereal treats, cookies and candies are to die for! Most are Mickey or character themed. I picked up a yummy decorated gingerbread cookie. This is a seasonal item and is delicious! You can find the famous Churro Toffee here to! I know there is a huge following for this. To me, it was just ok, too sweet, too hard. We just took a couple bites and didn't finish the rest. I'd rather have a fresh crispy yummy churro. Customer service is as you would expect from Disney, Excellent! During the pandemic lockdown, Disney has opened up a small area of the park along with Downtown Disney for shopping experiences only due to the lockdown and there may be waits to get into the stores due to capacity restrictions. There's no charge to come during the lockdown period. Parking is available in the Simba/Downtown Disney lot off Disneyland Drive. It costs $10 per car daily. There is no AP discount on parking. Recommended!

Yelp
So many delicious treats! I'm so happy to be able to go back onto Buena Vista Street for the ambience and to get some goodies and shopping. The line at Trolley Treats always seems to be shorter and move faster than the opposite Five and Dime store so this is a good option if you're looking for caramel apples, cookies, etc. or a more limited selection of merchandise. Cast members are consistently friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to keep the environment feeling safe.

Yelp
I would like to sum up this review in 2 words: Churro Toffee. My guest and I were thankfully able to get in here a few weeks ago once they opened BVS! So thankful. Yes, lines. Yes, zillions of people. Yes, masks. Yes, the covid and grewsom have ruined everything. But, regardless of all the negatives: get yourself some Churro Toffee and the rest of that will fall off your back like water on a duck. :) You have to scan the QR code to enter BVS then be sure to scan the next QR code for the Trolley ASAP. I lost track of time during our wait for both. But, I suppose when you come to Disneyland and DTD time doesn't and *shouldn't matter. Leave your worries at your car. :) I had no intention of getting anything else but the Churro Toffee but truth be told, the huge Snickerdoodle cookie was calling my name. I had to oblige! Got a few rice crispy Mickey treats for family, too. My guest found a princess mug that was calling her name, too. :) Service was fine; everyone busy and wearing masks so I couldn't hear a word any CM's were saying to me. But, I guess patience is something that the covid has brought to people as well. Absolutely recommend!

Yelp
BY FAR, our favorite dessert/treat place in all of Disneyland. Our favorites are the cookies and churro toffee! Prices have raised since our last visit but we barely cared because the treats are incredible and worth every penny. As of 12/2020, lines are long due to COVID so expect to wait awhile -- still worth it! Go go go and you'll love it!
google avatar

Yelp
Every time I go to California Adventure I have to stop by and pick up some treats for my friends and family! The cast members are always helpful and so friendly! My favorite is the Mickey Mouse caramel apples! They also just added the churro toffee permanently! That is my absolute favorite! If you haven't tried it, then it's a must! They have so many packed goodies!

Yelp
This is our favorite candy shop in all of Disneyland and California Adventure. The service is great, and the candy is fresh and delicious. We came here the other day to get out of the crowds. My son was definitely in the mood for chocolate and knew exactly what he wanted. He wanted to get the Mickey Mouse cookie, chocolate covered strawberries, and a rice crispy treat with mini M&Ms. It would have been harder for me to make a decision since everything looked so yummy here! This store has a great selection and smells so wonderful. A few displays around the store highlighted some favorite items. The shelves were filled with lots of delicious cookies and candy. Although we didn't spot the chocolate covered pretzels in the shape of Mickie Mouse on this last visit, everything in that case looked amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They pointed out some favorites in the glass case and reminded us about the annual pass-holder discount. The employees were very "sweet" and thoughtful here! Everything was so fresh! The cookie tasted like it was straight out of the oven and those strawberries were wonderful as well. There are plenty of great candy shops at Disneyland, but this one is still a family favorite!

Yelp
There are several places to purchase the high-priced treats around Disneyland and California Adventure. All-in-all they are about the same, however I do notice that Trolley Treats may not have as long of a line and possibly just a bit more of a selection.... or could be my imagination? Anyway, although closely the same, Trolley Treats went the extra mile for me and my friend on our last visit. Enough so, that I had to just go ahead and write my review. It was our birthday trip, we have birthdays just one day apart and we chose to spend the day at the Park... all day! The whole wad; buttons, treats, AP special drinks, as many pix with characters... the whole deal! We were starving as we entered California Adventure first thing in the morning, so Trolley Treats was our spot for "breakfast". The lady behind the counter, I want to say her name was Lillian (I wish I could remember because she was the epitome of Disney) greeted us and helped make selection of sinful treats. She was extra perky and super extra helpful. As she rung us up, I turned to my friend and said "Oh dang, we forgot to get our birthday buttons". Lillian looked up with a grin and said we could get them right there with her!! She asked us about our friendship, and what we liked most about each other, our names, all that stuff. She filled in our buttons, complete with our age and the date on the back. But then... THEN... she started singing a birthday song about us! She included our names, the reasons we were friends, all that stuff she was asking us about! This sweet lady was remarkable!! We could NOT have asked for a better birthday button presentation!! Plus it made our sinful "breakfast" that much sweeter. What a great way to start off our birthday celebration at the Parks!! Thank you!!!!! So sorry I can't remember your name, but we will not ever forget YOU!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Yelp
How can a candy store within a hugely fun theme park not be good? LOL This was so, so good. I came for my favorite thing, the rocky road chocolate but they told me they did not have that :-( well I was sad for a minute, but I got another thing, the caramel apple covered with nuts! Looked tasty and huge! My husband got a square chocolate peanut butter thing, and my daughter got a vanilla cupcake. We took it to the hotel room to eat the next day. Well, they were all delicious! My apple was lovely, classic caramel and nuts, how can you go wrong? I did not get to taste my daughters cupcake because she ate it without sharing! LOL But my husband's peanut butter chocolate square thingie blew us all away! The peanut butter cream inside was like eating butter...peanut butter...butter. It was the creamiest, smoothest, butteriest, thing I've ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Thank you Mouse, you sweet, sweet rodent you.

Yelp
Every year after Thanksgiving, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure sells fresh, hand-pulled candy canes. In order to buy one (or two), you need to line up early to get a wristband. The wristband gives a date (same day) and time for you to return in order to purchase a fresh candy cane. You are limited to one candy cane per wristband and two wristbands per person. The days alternate between the two parks so only one location will make them per day. The day I went, the canes were being made in DCA at Trolley Candy Treats. Grace C. and I arrived shortly before park opening and were allowed into DCA at 7:45 am. We waited about 15 minutes in line before we received our wristbands that told us to come back at 11:30 am. We ended up going to breakfast at Steakhouse 55 in the time being. I wandered back to the parks to kill some time and by the time I got to Trolley Treats, I could see them packaging the candy canes. It's a really cool process to watch. Even Guy Fieri featured it on the Food Network: http://www.eatmedaily.com/2009/12/making-candy-canes-in-disneyland-on-guys-disney-holiday/ If you've never had a freshly made candy cane, you're definitely in for a treat. I plan on using mine for snacking and making peppermint treats. This is one thing I can finally check off my Disney bucket list.

Yelp
Spring has sprung at Trolley Treats!!! There were so many treats to choose from. We ended up buying one of each of the Easter-themed treats. The Rice Krispy treat was really good and softer than usual. The cake pop tasted like every other cake pop we've had at Disney, but really cute! The pineapple shortbread cookie was HUGE and really delicious! The cookie itself was a perfect consistency when we ate it. Not too hard and nothing too soft.

Yelp
Need I say more? Baby yoda rice crispy treat!!!! So cute! So chewy! So sugary. So yummy! I bought three of them

Yelp
If you want to avoid the crazy Candy lines that you expect from Disneyland, here is your alternative. It is right on Buena Vista street and next to Starbucks. It connects to the adjecent gift shops But the Candy selection here is amazing. Last year I wanted to get the famous coveted Disney Candy came and knew my best bet was here. I came when unpurchased Candy canes were up for grabs to the public and was able to snag one. A great souvenir to remember your Christmas trip to disney!!!

Yelp
Delicious Candied Apples Here! Located in Carthay Circle, this shop shares space with a cafe/coffee shop. They have a variety of chocolate and candies. I am a fan of everything I tried. One thing stands out the most..The Candied Apples! ~Candied Apples-5 Stars! The little one and I each had our own. She had Minnie. I had Wizard Mickey. Each had a large and juicy Granny Smith Apple. This Granny Smith Apple was encased by marshmallow, caramel and a final rich chocolate layer. They didn't stop there. The chocolate layer was bedazzled with candied sparkle treats and glitter candy. In one word...WOW! How much you ask??? $10 each. This apple is a true dessert and you won't find a cheaper one at this quality anywhere! Sit out on a patio table with a coffee or at the fountain. You can hangout in Carthay Circle with this amazing treat and watch a couple of shows, meet characters or just people watch. The rest of the items are good, too. Customer service is great. I just think these are the best candied apples I have had. Tip: I liked eating my apple whole and watching people gape and watch me eat it while they stood there jealous as heck. For smaller people, you can ask them to cut the apple. This apple is so large that it is ideal for two to share. Trolley's at Cathay Circle in California Adventure...another reason the OC is the best place to live!
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
Pretty self explanatory: candy...candy...candy! I still prefer Main St, where I can gawk at the candy makers like a pet store. :) p.s. Super amazing cookie...not so great. Stick to the choc covered items or go with the apples!

Yelp
I have always wondered about the freshness of the packaged candy Disney sells in its parks and recently curiosity got the better of me and Laina and I stopped by Trolley Candy Treats ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=PafzWjU78AWjfHGp2Fzdfw ) for some sweets. This shop is located on the left hand side of Buena Vista Street in California Adventure just past the Fruit / Bread stand. Each of the display windows has something unique to entice you into the shop: ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=dEAIVqg7y_ux8r-YcwQ5iA ) ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=2gHMZm2BCCISLG4IES-okQ ) Unfortunately, the train in the first window doesn't seem to run on a consistent basis. On this particular visit Disney was having a rare deal ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=3Sgqqw8S9Iuw7N_OtSHlYw ) on its packaged Goofy's Candy Co. items and the better half grabbed a bag of the Hot Tamales and I grabbed one bag each of the Sour Cherry Balls and Character Gummies. Right next to all the "Goofy" stuff, Trolley Candy Treats has some treats ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=dDrkl2oKShsUPCgcpIJs1g ) with various Star Wars characters on the packaging. If you walk the the middle of the shop you will sweets and souvenirs geared toward the World of Color ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=F4i7Wo5vKxjZd_xGHHZxDw ) night time spectacular. On a bookshelf against a back wall ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=PVs2Qz6w_VTMQqvRU982GQ ) you will find everything you need to have your very own "Very Merry Unbirthday" celebration! There are Alice In Wonderland Tea Sets, Honey Spoons and Wonderland Teas "The Official Unbirthday Tea." There are also Mickey Mugs and Tumblers and K-Cup and Drip Coffee options. Next to the caffeine bookshelf, there is a very old ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=ImRYAneuwB9U-Vbpg2teFg ) candy vending machine. Not only didn't I recognize any of the candy brand names, I can't remember a candy bar ever being sold for a nickel or a dime. Rohlinism: When you are my age, if you can't remember something it is either really old or the early onset of dementia! Next to the register are the glass display cases with the more customized treats: ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=VUO1nb8jLt61uIMSpHDDjA ) ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/trolley-candy-treats-anaheim?select=Ygu5DgR7YSh-VGd5R_ynIw ) We were told by one of the cast members that everything in the glass cases are made fresh daily, but that doesn't mean the items sell out daily. As we were waiting in line to pay for our candies, I spied with my little eye something that started with the letter "G!" I was excited to see gingerbread men at the bottom of one of the display cases since this really isn't the right time of year. I quickly added a gingerbread man to our haul and waited for our turn at the register. Speaking of dementia, the old guy at the cash register was having some real issues completely the simplest of transactions. My better half even asked if another register could be opened or if someone could assist the gentleman. I am guessing this didn't sit so well with the senior citizen because when Laina tried to expedite the bagging of our treats, he snatched the bag away in a flash! There's still life in the old man yet. I paid for treats and remembered to show my annual pass for the 20 percent discount before departing the shop. We hung around the park for a few more hours before taking the tram back to the parking structure and heading for home. Upon arrival at home, I opened up the Sour Cherry Balls and popped a few into my mouth. The cherry flavor was there, but the sour part had long departed these balls. I wouldn't necessarily call the candy stale, but it wasn't exactly fresh either. I warned the better half about the experience I had with the Sour Cherry Balls before she tried a few of the Hot Tamales. The expression on her face when she bit into a tamale made the need for vocalization of her disappointment moot. I didn't see the tamales again, so either they are currently in some landfill or my lovely wife decided to inflict some suffering on her co-workers! The Character Gummies were the same as the balls, decent flavor, but you could tell the gummies had been hanging around the store for a while. The gingerbread man was decent, good flavor from the ginger, relatively soft, but I will probably wait until Christmas time when I know for sure I will be getting a cookie baked the same day. If you are going to get your sugar fix here I will quote you a little Latin "Caveat Emptor" and leave it at that.

Yelp
Quick tips: 1. Quite a bit of great candy at reasonable prices on the walls! 2. The toffee here is made seasonally and not made during winter time. I was disappointed to find out that Trolley Candy Treats didn't have their famous chocolate toffee. So disappointed that I decided to drown my sorrows in a white chocolate cookie and a cake pop. We quickly decided on a red velvet cupcake pop that was covered in chocolate in the good old fashioned visage of Mickey Mouse himself! The white chocolate cookie was thick and doughy and not as sweet. The cookie was well balanced and very nice, but was overshadowed if you bit into the cake pop, which I accidentally did first. The cake pop on the other hand was kind of a disaster. First off the outer shell was fun to eat, but it fell apart almost immediately. There was also marshmallow in the ears above the red velvet cake face area. The red velvet flavor was nice, but the cake part of itself was really so-so. It seemed a little too moist. Overall the cookie cost us $3.99 and the cake pop also cost us $4 or $5. We did miss out on trying a pineapple spear because my girlfriend isn't really into pineapple. I would still visit to try that item out though! A wonderful little stop connected to the rest of the arcade, which is right next to the Starbucks and the ice cream shop. Try it out!

Yelp
A great spot for a treat or souvenir to take home! A variety of snacks, candies, dipped apples, and baked goods, all Disney-themed and Disney priced! It connects to other retail shops, so you can grab the pre-packaged goodies and carry them around with you if you want to continue to shop. The counter for the fresh-made speciality items can get busy in the evenings, so earlier in the day is your best bet.

Yelp
I saw pictures of mouth watering gourmet marshmallows and wanted to try them so bad. We went to get coffee at Fiddler Fifer for my ninja and marshmallows for me. I asked the cast member before waiting in line, but she didn't know anything about the gourmet marshmallows. I only saw the chocolate dipped ones and those were not the ones I wanted :( We ended up getting English toffee for me and shortbread cookie for my ninja. English toffee square ($4.99): kinda expensive for .7 oz square, but hey, this is Disneyland. Not as good as almond roca or See's English toffee though. . Mickey mouse shortbread cookie ($3.99): we had fun breaking Mickey into small pieces and ate the chocolate dipped ears first. His pants and feet are sugar dipped but not his body. It's not good but we had fun posing with the cookie. I want my watermelon marshmallow :( Ughh QUICK TIP: ANNUAL PASS DISCOUNT IS ACCEPTED 3 stars!! Trolley Treats is almost yummylicious!!

I was a bit reluctant to try a certain treat that I'm now a fan of- that is the gourmet marshmallow. I asked an employee what he thought about the confection. Yelp
I felt like I was on a candy conveyor belt. The line moved slowly for not being long. I ordered a candied apple and Olaf marshmallows on a stick covered in white chocolate. We took the candies home and they went in the fridge. The set up was difficult to know what to order as you can't see what's in the cases while in line. We opened the Olaf as soon as we got home and he was tasty, though he was chocolate and marshmallow nothing special. My husband forgot about his apple for five days. Five. He cut that guy open and he was perfect! Like day one!!

Yelp
No trip to DCA is complete without a detour to Trolley Candy Treats ... which is easily recognizable with its iconic "Candy" sign. I've gotten my first caramel apple ever from this store (the only one I've ever tried was the one coated with peanut butter, chocolate, caramel and peanut butter cups), making this destination even more memorable. Though every candy shop (The Candy Palace, Marceline's, etc.) sports a good variety of caramel apples, I love seeing the assortment at this particular store. Some of the more memorable ones have been Olaf and the "Apple Pie" Mickey (at least, it reminded me of an apple pie because of the graham cracker dust at the bottom). You can find many of the treats at Trolley Candy Treats at other locations, but sometimes I just purchase my treats from this location because it tends to be less crowded than The Candy Palace on Main Street in Disneyland. I do miss the original candy store's location (on the right side if you're looking to exit DCA), but I can still usually find whatever I'm looking for at this venue. There's also more space to move around in this venue ... it's not as claustrophobic as The Candy Palace on Main Street. Here are some of my favs: "Mickey Mouse Gingerbread Cookie": This location is hit-or-miss when it comes to my beloved Mickey Mouse Gingerbread, but sometimes, if I'm lucky, I can get my hands on this treat. With its moist, chewy texture and chocolate-dipped Mickey ears, this cookie (available year round) is my absolute go-to! If it's not at this location, however, I just have to make sure to go to Disneyland and stop in at Pooh Corner before leaving the Park. "(Round) Peanut Butter Cookie": The DCA Candy Store (in its original location) was the first place where I ordered this peanut butter-laden cookie, and it's one of my favorites because of its strong peanut butter flavor. I love the soft, chewy consistency of this cookie and the prevalent peanut butter chunks. I'd recommend this for any peanut butter lover. "(Round) Chocolate Chunk Cookie": There are several perfectly round cookies (peanut butter, snickerdoodle, chocolate chunk and some kind of raspberry-white chocolate hybrid) that are usually on display in the various candy stores, but I believe this is where I first tried (well, the old DCA candy store, but same park) this delicious chocolate chip cookie. It features a soft and chewy cookie that's generously infused with chocolate chunks. Some chocolate chip cookies tend to be stingy with their chocolate chunks, but not this bad boy -- I love it cause you get a decent amount of sweet chocolate in every single bite. "Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Rod": I was really hungry one afternoon and absolutely could NOT wait until dinner time, so I got a snack from this Candy Shop to hold me over. I was in the mood to try something different from my usual cookies, so I got one of the chocolate-covered pretzel rods. I was satisfied my choice, as it was the perfect salty-sweet snack. I liked the thicker pretzel--more substance and salt--and the thick milk chocolate coating gave the crunchy treat a sweet aftertaste. And, because it was a cooler day, I didn't have to worry about my chocolate treat melting in the sun. I usually prefer soft, doughy, chewy pretzels over crunchy pretzels -- except for when said crunchy pretzels are covered in chocolate, peanut butter or some other yummy coating. I'd definitely get this treat again if I'm looking for something different than my typical sweet pick-me-up. "Reese's Caramel Apple" (Seasonal): If they ever bring this caramel apple back, I would definitely get it again. This was the very first caramel apple I ever bought from Disneyland! Though the apple itself was REALLY tart--too tart for my liking--the amount of sweetness coated on the outside helped to balance it out. This apple was covered in milk chocolate and had generous chunks of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (and a milk chocolate drizzle) on the outside. I loved how the entire apple was generously covered with the Reese's chunks -- I basically got one in every single bite! Hopefully next time, I'll be lucky and get a slightly sweeter apple! I've seen a lot of other super cute caramel apples at this location as well, such as the "Olaf" apple and "Graduation 2014" apple (which I almost bought, but wanted the Reese's one that was featured in May 2014).

Yelp
Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you want a bunch of Disney themed candy?!? Then yeah you need to make a stop here. Great candy stop in CA Adventure.

Yelp
Your one stop shop for anything sweet at Buena Vista Street. Unlike the Candy Palace on Main Street USA at Disneyland, the Trolley Candy Treats actually has room to move around. Here you can find different sorts of candy ranging from hard lollipops and suckers, to delicious chocolate items. There is even a store window out front where you can see Candy Mountain ( a once proposed mountain for Disneyland's Casey Jr. / Storybook Land in Disneyland early design stages ) and another window where one can watch different candy being made. One can smell the scent of sweetness every now and then as they walk by the store

Yelp
Just a bit of fun in old California. Yeah its retail stuff gets a little on the nerves, however it is such a great place to just wander, I love to get lost in thought here. Thanks to the amazing Cast Members who make the Magic here. Without you guys, its just cool real estate.

Yelp
I love getting Mickey shaped treats to take a picture with. This is the perfect little shop in California Adventure to pick one up at! They have all the seasonal items here as well including mummy Mickey, "poisoned" candy apples and even a maleficent shaped crispy! Perfect place to find something cute to Instagram ;) #doitfortheinsta

Yelp
This is my favorite of all the treat shops in both parks, and I'm not really sure why. Maybe location, ambiance, decor, selection, staff, personal experience? All of the preceding? I feel like they have the best of the best here in terms of selection, like a restaurant with a smaller, better menu. The treats are always fresh, too. We have gotten a couple cookies from Marceline's that were not so fresh, and saw Halloween cupcakes on Main Street last week. Trolley Treats is consistently less crowded than some of the other shops, and I really like the selection of other items here, particularly the teacups and that sort of thing. Just my favorite treat shop.

Yelp
Everything here is tastyyyyyy! It's one of those places you walk in and your eyes get wide because you want it all! Tons of candy and fresh goodies in the counter. You can find more in Disneyland at candy palace but this place is perfect for when you are in DCA and get a sweet tooth ;)

Yelp
I went to Disneyland California Adventure on May 16th of this year with my sister Amanda and her two kids who are my Nephews to have some fun for the day. One of the first stops that we did at Disneyland California Adventure was to go to Trolley Treats to get some Cake Pops and a Churro Toffee to try. The Cake Pops were okay, but I would like to try something else that Trolley Treats offers. The Service at Trolley Treats was okay despite it being busy with customers.

Yelp
I wonder where they get these apples from because they are so fresh and crispy. I love the apples they use green and red apples and I am telling you that they come from some magical farm. Try out Trolley Candy Treats because you will fall in love.

Yelp
I love this spot..Husband and I always make a stop here for treats but I am not impressed with this Large Cake Pop..I'm not sure what the inside is made of but it's less like cake more like a odd texture dough..

Yelp
I bought a Minnie Mouse candied apple for $10 and it was soooooo good! But I also bought a white chocolate chip cookie for I believe $5.99? I got all the way to San Diego and took a bite of the cookie. Looked delicious, but it was literally like dough. It lacked in flavor and tasted like dough with salt added. I was very disappointed! I hope they look into that because those cookies aren't the cheapest. I was very sad that this cookie wasn't even cooked through and it was by far the worst cookie I've ever had. I've had chewy ones before, but this one to me was not cooked through at all.

Yelp
Want to know where to get the delectable gingerbread Mickey Mouse cookie? This is it. They used to sell them at a bakery in the Wharf food court area, but now that's gone. You can also still get them at Pooh Corner in Disneyland, but those don't appear to be as fresh. I personally don't care for gingerbread except at Christmas time, but they seem to have these cookies year-round, so if you've got a jones, go for it.
