Trompudo’s Tacos

The Al pastor tacos were delicious. Most everything else was a range of good and okay. While the place is small, it does a good job of managing space, and it is spectacularly clean as compared to other taco shops. Decorations add to the atmosphere. I strongly recommend if you want a good Al pastor taco, especially on Tuesday with their taco Tuesday deal.

The tacos Al pastor with cheese is delicious! The meat is flavorful. The pineapple elevates it. The food is fresh and tasty. They have a variety of sauces as well. You order and pay first and then the bring the food to you. It’s clean and fast.

Only have had drive thru experience but we can't wait to try inside! Our tacos were delicious!! Go try them out!!

Very delicious and great tasting. The tortillas taste so good took me back to Mexico in a little ranch where you can find grandma making the corn tortillas! The way they pack their things amazed me as well they took their time I recommend this place 🤌🏻 #chiefkiss amazing 👏🏻😋

The food was wonderful. Authentic tacos al pastor were great. I could go broke eating these tacos. Great salsa selection. I didn't like ordering Jarritos and getting the Barritos knock-off though. That cheapened the experience. The AC didn't work inside, but they had enough fans, it still felt comfortable.

We tried a little bit of everything... The food was good and the service was just okay. The menu is basic and doesn't have a lot of options. One option they don't have at all is chicken. We were the only ones eating inside at the time and the tables were filthy and flies were a nuisance. The food came to the table lukewarm at best. It's nice that they have 6 house sauces on the table. It has a ton of character with all of the colorful decor. The tacos were okay, not the best. The star was the quesidilla for sure!!! This was our first time trying it and maybe next time We'll have a better experience. Happiest feasting, Everyone!!!

The food was yummy! But the girl with red hair had terrible customer service, in my opinion she should not be up front taking peoples orders. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or what, but maybe switching her with someone else would make the experience better for others! Aside from that the food was great and the rest of the staff seemed kind.

A part of me was fine with never trying Trompudo's Tacos because of how far away it was from me but, now that I've had it, I kinda want to make the drive for more Tortas and burritos. They really nail the spices here and the cost:quantity ratio is great. We ordered a steak torta, burrito, and al pastor tacos. Every menu item we ordered was delicious on its own, but they all tasted even better with their assortment of salsas. My favorite was the spicy pineapple, it had a great mix of sweet and heat and tasted great on everything. The included chips and queso were tasty too - the queso had a taste and consistency similar to Velveeta, which I think is great but it may not appeal to everyone. Service was fast and friendly, I called in a takeout order and they had the food ready earlier than I expected; they also have a drive-thru option for easy pickup, so +1 for the extra convenience. Easy recommendation. I wish I lived closer, I would give them all my money all the time. Maybe it's best for my wallet this way, but I'm looking forward to stopping by again soon.

The tacos were great and flavorful. The queso wasn't a runny consistency, it thickened up fast. They could definitely work on their cocktails. Order the spicy margarita. It did not taste like a margarita, more like a spicy water. It was cool that they their sauces had suggestions on what they best pair with. Definitely will be back for the tacos, and tacos only,

I wanted to like them so much. I seen the reviews and a few people on Facebook said how good it is. I'll try them again. But not impressed the first time. Pretty dry. Tortillas were tough around the edges. Very nice people though.

Best tacos in okc! If you're looking for margs or beers you'll get the basics but the tacos steal the show. Must try. Service is always great. Restaurant is always clean. Salsa selection is fantastic.

I think Trompudos tacos used to be Taco Bell from the look of the outside, the inside, and the drive through but luckily it is much much better than Taco Bell. Good little variety on the menu. I ordered the torta and it came out super quick. It wasn't the best torta I've ever had but it was good. Especially the bread. I also really enjoyed four of their salsas which I smothered on the torta.

Consistency is key for me when it comes to food! If I love it for the first time, I always go back to make sure my love is consistent. I'm here to report that consistency is here at Trompudos! We ordered the burrito and quesadilla again but this time we asked for the spicier salsa in addition. Phew their spicier salsa was definitely way spicier than the salsa that automatically comes with your food. I love spicy but wow when it's too spicy where I don't enjoy my food, I can go without it. My hubby loved it, so it didn't go to waste lol otherwise, the flavors of our food were amazing again. Every time I'm in the area, I plan on stopping by!

Been here twice and it's been great both times. Once for dine in, food came out hot and fresh. Service was impeccable. The inside is a little small, only 12 total tables, so at lunch it filled up quick. The second was a to go order. Pictures provided. Neatly wrapped up food. Still hot by the time I got back to work, only 5 minutes away. All in all, solid lunch choice.

If you want phenomenal tacos, go here. So dang good and packed with flavor. And the caddy of salsa offer perfect pairings for whatever you order. Highly recommend.

Tasty tacos at a price you can't beat! We decided to give this place a chance, and we are so glad we did. We were trying to look for a casual taco place, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Once you walk in, the environment is very laid back with space for large groups. They have an ordering area strictly for food, and a bar inside. Lots of taco options! There's also other options if you're craving something else: tortas, nachos, quesadillas and more! We got the chips and queso. My boyfriend got a variety of tacos and I got all chorizo tacos. The tortillas were a little oily, but still so tasty. Your order comes with an array of salsas ranging from mild to very hot! A sauce for everyone. We left satisfied and would definitely come back again. Give this place a try!

My new favorite taco place in OKC. The most delicious authentic tacos with all the yummy meat options like asada, suadero, al pastor and more. The queso blanco was real creamy deliciousness! You can also get it with Chorizo. Such a great offering of sauces too. Service was fantastic as we had a few special requests and they did not hesitate to meet them. Great food and service without breaking the bank!

I've been wanting to try this spot for at least a year now and I finally did today. LET ME TELL YOU... It did not disappoint. I had 3 tacos and a beer which hit the spot. It's the Southside so you can pretty much get a taco anywhere; however, it's been a long time since I had one as flavorful and with the perfect amount of crunch. If u don't mind paying a tiny extra per taco, then you'll really enjoy these. They have six sauces to choose from as well that vary from mild to having your nose sweat. The beer was Cold which is all u can really ask for. The vibe is nice too, with continuous music playing at a good volume where u can still talk and hear your thoughts. I only had the pleasure of meeting the young lady at the register who was also my server, but she was really nice and attentive. I can't wait to try other things on the menu soon.

No frills but awesome food! You can order almost anything with your protein of choice-I like the Carne Asada and the Suadero. I feel certain the others are tasty too-just can't get passed ordering those two. I love that they have refried beans in spicy or non spicey. Most of the salsa's are spicy but that's what salsa is for. The chips are always fresh. This is not Tex-Mex-you would be disappointed if that's what you are looking for. But if you want flavorful Mexican food that won't upset your stomach from the grease load-this is it.

Beautiful decor and bar. Service is fast and efficient. I love the tacos de Al pastor and my mom loves their charro beans. It's a good place if you're eating out. I do order to go on occasions. It has multiple salsa choices. The only thing that annoys me is that the to-go cups for the salsa are incredibly tiny. It's not that they don't give you enough (they do), it's just like 6-10 tiny salsa cups instead and 2-3 mid size salsa cups. It can be a bit bothersome when I'm about to die of hunger.

I had read an article about this place and thought I would check it out. Everyone was extremely helpful and the food was amazing! I especially loved the Al Pastor taco, it was delicious! The Suadero taco was also very tasty! I also met the owner/chef as he asking me how I liked the food. Overall, I was impressed with the entire experience! If you get a chance ,please check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

I LOVE Trompudo's! They have claimed the top taco spot in OKC as far as I am concerned. I have had every variation of taco on the menu, and I love them all.......but the the al pastor and suadero are TO DIE FOR! Make sure and get them w/ cheese. They put a tasty cheese between the 2 corn tortillas and it gives them great structure and taste & the taco holds together really well as you eat! The 6 versions of hot sauces are REALLY good. Full bar available. Good queso & salsa. You gotta go try Trompudo's! Taco local!

Let's be real about Tacos Al Pastor. A lot of establishments offer them, but few come correct. Trompudo's offers the most legit Al pastor I've had in a long time. Cooked in the traditional manner on a trompa, the pork is insanely delicious...moist, flavorful with a bit of char and served in two fresh corn tortillas with diced onion and pineapple. I also tried the Suadero and carnitas - both exceeded expectations. The chaska was also great. But listen to me now: Get into this place and get that Al pastor. The ambiance is good and there's a small bar that serves beer and drinks. Oh, they make their own salsas and sauces which pair beautifully with whatever meat selection you choose. Have I told you about the Al pastor? It's to die for.

So far, this place has the best tacos that I have had in Oklahoma. Granted, most of the "Mexican" food here is Tex-Mex, which should be looked at as its own category unrelated. The tacos with cheese are particularly great here. I've had the asada and the Al pastor. I like the addition of the crushed pineapple on the Al pastor a lot. The Torta's are also very good here if that's what you are looking for. Overall, if you are primarily looking for tacos, I recommend trying this place out. Great tacos!

Was looking to try this place out. I am a big lover of al pastor and so I was hoping these guys could prepare it well. I was very impressed by everything we ordered. I ordered some tacos and a torta. Both were on point. The Al pastor was flavorful and they didn't skimp on the pineapple at all. It takes a lot for a restaurant to leave a strong impression on me one way or the other, but I knew this was my new favorite spot by the second bite. I want to go back and try everything on the menu. My goal is to find something I don't like. I'm not optimistic.

My family and I went here tonight and we went through the drive thru and the server was a REAL bitch!! Seems like she has a stick up her ass!! Every dam time she came toward me at the window and then back in she would slam the shit out of that little ass window. When I would ask her for something she would roll her fucken eyes as if she is giving me the food for free. " BITCH if you don't like working here find another job!!" And that's it!! . And it's a shame because the food here is good, but the service is fucken terrible!!!!!!

Went here on a busy Saturday night, near closing time (I'm sorry) but the service was super fast. Our food came out quick. For about $10 you can get these loaded asada fries, they were pretty good honestly. It's such an indulgent unhealthy food but delicious! They have 6 salsas to choose from that are pretty great. It's a nice variety. Probably the best part is the HORCHATA! I've found lots of places cannot perfect horchata but this one is super sweet and cinnamon flavored. So good! I would visit again.

FANTASTIC pastor burritos and salsas! Stopped here on the was to a NCAA Cross Country meet in Stillwater. Loved it soooo much, I had the hubby stop here again on the way home to Texas. Great salsas, from mild to spiiiicy- my favorite was definitely the salsa piña. But don't trust me, try it yourself!

Love this place! You MUST try the Pastor, Suadero, and Chorizo tacos. every taco has a delicious designated salsa. If you want to try something unique, give the Mulita a try. It's basically 2 open faced tacos smashed together into a sandwich. The horchata is delicious, but if you prefer something from the bar, I highly recommend the mango house margarita. The owner Lupe and his staff are super friendly

I am going to give this 3 stars.... For now. I tried the al pastor and asada as well as the chorizo queso.... The al pastor was good. Good flavor. I like how they use a spit roaster... (there are only a handful of restaurants that do this in Oklahoma and only 2 in the city of Oklahoma). The al pastor also came with diced pineapple on top! Fruit always goes great with pork! The asada tacos were dry AF.... But still had a good flavor. In both cases I feel the amount of meat that comes on each taco is very small in comparison to other taquerías in the city... The chorizo was very, VERY FLAVORFUL! Queso was thick and not runny, however they put shredded cheese on top of the queso making it super stringy when you would dip your chips in, making for a not smooth transition from scoop to mouth. I will definitely try this place again, so further my review! All in all 4 tacos and an order of queso and chips, for 2 with no drinks was $18.

Hidden gem in S OKC the very best food I've had the pleasure of eating. Several choices of meat and all delicious. Drinks available as well.

The Service I received tonight Sunday 10/22/23 was beyond unprofessional.. I normally Come to this location and their normally very welcoming and friendly but tonight I guess the one lady at the register didn't want to be at work and I seen it written all over her face even when she proceeded to make my drink. So I get my drinks w salt around the rim without even being asked if I wanted it and also that Resulted in my margarita drink to be salty. I get it people have bad days but i dont think bringing to to work visibly like this is professional for a place w such good food.

We had lunch here today for the second time. It has a nice atmosphere accompanied by music. The Margaritas are wonderful and the queso is exceptional. We had delicious tacos, which are a great value. The food was prepared quickly and served hot. We will be back !

I'd been craving this place for awhile because of all the hype. Finally tried and was a bit disappointed. I feel people hyped it up so much because the owner is known by many and fear to disappoint a friend/acquaintance. Don't let the picture fool you, these "quesa tacos" barely had any cheese. I also added avocado for an additional charge, & what I received was a chorrito of I guess avocado sauce (did not taste much like avocado, more limey) I was expecting actual smashed or sliced avocado. They're not loaded w/protein as it might look, it's all the onion/cilantro that make it look full & they're smaller than what the pictures might make it seem. Honestly the best part for me was the unique taste of the tortilla they use. The asada was mediocre I've most def. tried better. I do believe the pastor is what they specialize in which my sister tried and she said it was decent. Might be back but only try something else. Also, salsas were pretty good. Food aside staff and environment was great. Super nice people and very welcoming. The restaurant is decorated so cute. Based on my experience I would not recommend to try nor not not recommend, it's up to ea. Individuals judgment.

Pretty good tacos imo, really good chaska (its like elote, but the corn is roasted). Spicey re fried beans hit the spicey crave.

Trompudo's Tacos doesn't miss. My girlfriend and I went there to see what all the buzz was about and we were far from disappointed. Not only was the food amazing but customer service matched! I highly recommend their Al Pastor Taco! Ever had pineapple on your taco? You're missing out! The salsas that are unique to each taco are also so different and amazingly paired with each different meat that they offer. Lastly, this place is so affordable! We can't wait for the grand opening of their new location and can't wait try the rest of their menu!

The Al Pastor and Suadero tacos are hands down the best tacos in OKC. All tacos come with their own designated fresh salsas which are amazing. Definitely need a Horchata to cool off the mouth!

I like the salsas my fist time was great !! I eat a quesadilla and also a burrito beef ones, the only complaint I have it's that there isn't a lot of ventilation and the smell was so strong.

Not good. Meat was bland and food was cold when I got it. And pricy for how small the tacos are. Don't recommend

Best tacos in OKC. You can tell they use high quality meats, the mesquite grilled skirt steak is amazing and has great flavor. The salsa selection is excellent. Highly recommended.

Trompudos has some of the best al pastor tacos that actually use the rotisserie in OKC. Their mesquite grilled asada tacos are delicious too. This restaurant is part of the Chelinos family and Lupe, the owner and Chelino's son brought back my personal favorite yellow corn tortillas which have a great flavor. The concept is very unique and will be much better when the restaurant opens up for dine in. They are staying busy with drive thru only right now.

We got tacos, the loaded fries & chaska (corn) and it was AMAZING. Definitely recommend! Everything was perfect.

i went through the drive thru after ordering and the woman made direct eye contact with me after she served the car in front of me. i pulled up and the window was closed for ten minutes. nobody acknowledged me. i really wanted to eat there, it was only my second time, but i ended up driving away because i felt forgotten. this happened a few months ago, but every time i drive by i just remember how ugly of a look she gave me. i really liked this place, but a sour attitude from a grown woman ruined it.

I work right across the street and I kid you not I'm here everyday if not everyday ever other day!! The meat is just delicious especially with the salsa it comes with! . 10/10 recommend . And especially being pregnant this is all I eat haha

The Saudera tacos, rice, beans & chaska were AMAZING! First time to try this lovely little place but will assuredly make this a regular stop!!

The outside of the restaurant was very nice looking but could not go inside because it was closed due to COVID I believe. The staff was friendly and the food is reasonably priced. I got a carne asada burrito and the meat tasted similar to a taco truck! Portion size was great as well. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to eat Mexican for lunch or dinner.
