I come here all the time great food but Darsheen is the rudest nastiest unfriendly person….. buy almost 20 doubles asked for plates she said I can only have two and would have to pay 5 dollars for more ……always want to charge extra for everything and very rude as i walked out she started talking how i want more plate ect…. Please put her in the back to flip roti and not run long time customers away !!!

Worst customer service ever 2 woman working but only 1 serving the other one stand by the people at the bar side talking and the one serving takes forever. We to buy stuff the other day waited forever to buy curry shrimp then I see a person sitting by the bar side drinking came over n look at the food went back n tell the one worker that was with her talking to her all the time not helping service came over and give her all the shrimp that I was waiting for and my turn was nexts. I just walked out I wiated for 10 mins she didn’t come help service or anything seeing that I was waiting so long. Very very rude never going there again Mangers need to look into that because they will be losing business with those 2 woman working there

We walked in, and went up to the counter to order. The staff is at the front, not inside the food area, by the tables, talking to the customers, laughing, and making jokes. While we had to call them so they can do their job. Maybe I'm just old school, but when you have a job why are you conversing beyond normal convention. They also had some guests who were cursing loudly, talking really loudly and very clearly drunk. These are the same guests the staff was too busy talking to.

Probably the best chicken curry I’ve had on liberty avenue. It was very flavorful but a little spicy. The bake and sailfish was just okay. Service was fast and no one was rude which is always a thing to hope for with these Caribbean restaurants.

Saturday, June 21 2025 This morning around maybe 8 AM bought curried chataigne ,curried semi with potato it looks amazing like if you cook the dishes in Trinidad. However happy to taste them. The chataigne was tasteless . The seim over cooked , had too much curry however tasted much better. After 15 min later heartburn keep belching my stomach is upset.

I went to this place and the worker was very mean and nasty. As I walked into the store she had an attitude. I told her why is she treating people like that. She started arguing with me. I asked for the Managers phone number and they didn't want to give it to me. I will never go there again. When I was leaving the store a man outside told me that those Guyanese workers hate when Trinidadian women come to buy food there. 😡😡

I am very disappointed this morning buying 2 doubles 1 roti. But guess wht no channa in doubles just chutney? Really? Com'on. Not buying there again .

Good food, great vibes, cold beers. This type of establishment puts you in a good mood even on the darkest of days. Thank you to my friends who took me here for a drink. Needless to say, it turned into buckets of beers and glasses of who knows what everyone was having. It was late at night so we were only able to get Trini Chinese Chicken and fries - which was great by the way. Came back on another occasion at about 5pm for the real deal. Not only was the food good, it was abundant. Huge roti (enough for two), lots of curry, nice pepper. Yummm!!! Bang for the buck - definitely! Stop by if you are in the neighborhood.
