I loved the ambience and the set up right at Avalon The service was great and our server was very friendly. We did not have to wait long for the food They have a good selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic The food options are clean and healthy however the taste was not great for us. The hummus was flavorful which was the best. The rest we had issues with The pizza we ordered came out burnt as you will see in the pics and I surprised they served it to us … we ate it but left all the burnt pieces My plant burger was over seasoned with salt The fried chicken sandwich was decent The poke bowl was decent but quantity was less Same with the chicken parm Overall for a $200 for 4 I was disappointed I was looking forward to this experience being my birthday. Maybe we are just a one of bad experience because all the other reviews seem great

True food, kitchen offers a wide variety of tasty dishes on their menu, all of their salads are delicious and the food is high-quality and well prepared. It’s great for lunch or dinner and has plenty of seating, it’s a popular location so it can be a bit busy, but the staff is very nice and friendly. they are also pet friendly. We love coming here and definitely recommend.

I had a lovely experience with Gekesha as our server. She was attentive, kind, and even told us about a way to get free dessert. As someone who is vegan and gluten free I was very happy to have a place to eat with fresh food!

Excellent location with tasty food and a pleasant restaurant ambiance. Parking can be a bit challenging to find. The guacamole served with bread was outstanding.

My avocado toast was average, a little salty for my taste, and some of the avocado was unripe and not soft. My friend liked her pizza. The service is a bit slow. Nothing special and not compelled to return.

The food is rather mid for the price. Definitely avoid the turkey burger. Tastes super processed. The market salad is delicious. The servers are always friendly. This last time Zoe from the bar served us because the server for our section was MIA. Zoe was So sweet and attentive! A blessing ✨

True Food Kitchen in Alpharetta is a refreshing dining experience! The decor is light, fresh, and filled with greenery, creating a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. The food was just as impressive. My Tuna Poke Bowl was delicious, with just the right amount of spice to enhance the flavors. The sliders were also fantastic—juicy and flavorful. Service was good, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a place with great ambiance and healthy, flavorful dishes, True Food is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Food is really good with lots of healthy options. My vegetarian burger was delicious but too sweet, probably because of the caramelized onions. The edamame dumplings are to die for!! The flourless chocolate cake is good too.

Excellent, large ambient environment with lots of healthy, creative menu options. Any of the salads seem like hits - the gourmet chopped with a creamy avocado and a well seasoned, perfectly cooked piece of salmon with a sufficiently acidic dressing and enough crunch to remain interesting - this was stellar. The turkey burger was well seasoned, juicy, creative and on an excellently paired bun. I love that this place is super kid friendly. Lots of parents and their little ones. Staff is super friendly and well coordinated. A great healthy option in a pretty busy location.

This restaurant continues to go down hill! I live a block away in the Avalon area, and have been to this restaurant several times, each time the experience gets worse and worse. I don't plan to eat here again. We were greeted by an unfriendly, snooty waitress. we ordered the $20 burger medium, it arrived over cooked/well done and dry as a hockey puck, seems like they cook up a batch, leave them in a bowl and reheat them when ordered. Needless to say we had to send it back. Five Guys does a better burger. The other item was a a dripping wet wrap with two little pieces of chicken in it. The protein addition is extra, and not worth it. There are plenty of great restaurants in the Avalon location, this is not one of them, not sure how long this place will be around.

This place is truly one of my all-time favorites! Since moving back, I've been counting down the days to stop by, and I finally made it. Of course, I went straight for my tried-and-true favorite, the Spicy Curry Panang. This dish has been my go-to for years, and I was eager to see if it still held up to my memory. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed in that familiar, warm way that makes this place so special. I was seated quickly, and the atmosphere was as inviting as ever--relaxed and cozy, with just the right level of background chatter. I didn't even need the menu because I knew exactly what I was here for. The service was top-notch, and it wasn't long before my Spicy Curry Panang arrived, steaming hot. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. The flavors were on point, a perfect balance of spice and richness that kept me savoring each bite. The vegetables were vibrant and fresh, adding a nice texture that complemented the creamy curry sauce. Every spoonful was packed with that signature kick of spice I love, but never overpowering--it's a heat that builds just enough to keep things interesting. I could genuinely eat this dish every day. It's hearty, satisfying, and a fantastic way to get in some wholesome veggies without sacrificing flavor. If they ever took this item off the menu, I'd be beyond disappointed. For anyone who enjoys a spicy kick and wants a well-rounded, flavorful meal, the Spicy Curry Panang is an absolute must-try. True Food is a place that just feels special and unique when you walk in. I love the ambiance and warmth of the space. It was very busy when we went during the holiday break but we were seated quickly. Service was not bad and considering how busy they were, our server was really all over the place and moving the entire time. Our meal came out quickly and everyone was satisfied with that they ordered. The portions are on the smaller side. I do think it's a little pricier than the average place but it felt like a treat eating there and my mom loved it, which was all that mattered.

I know that I shouldn't like this place because it is a chain but I can't help myself. I find their dishes to be flavorful without being excessively laden with fat or salt. It somehow manages to feel like a treat and like you're being virtuous all at once. We ordered the sliders and air-fried chicken tenders to start and the beef tenderloin entree with a side of kale salad and sweet potato hash. The mashed potatoes that came with the tenderloin were heavenly and the sauce was divine. I almost died when I tried the chocolate peanut butter tart.

I was truly expecting a better experience, but here we are! My co worker recommended this place to me because of the vegetarian options on the menu so I was excited to try them out. I ended up ordering the plant base double cheeseburger and I was not happy, not because of the patty. It was really tasty, but they did not have anything that should have come on this burger, no cheese no tomatoes, and very little pickled onion and did not let me know until the burger actually came out. The side orders were slim so I ended up ordering a salad, which was only spinach and cucumbers, how disappointing was that? My friend said that I should have tried the Buckhead location , so maybe I will give that one a try the next time but I would not suggest this place . The ambience was very simple, but pretty and the service was ok.

I love True Food Kitchen and can confidently say this is my favorite nationwide chain. They have healthy, yet comforting foods that let you indulge without feeling (too) guilty. The atmosphere is always bright and a fantastic place for lunch with a girlfriend, date night, or even work meals. This was my first time trying the Alpharetta location and we came with a reservation and ordered an app, two entrees, and shared a dessert- we could have gotten away with sharing one entree. - charred cauliflower (5/5): this was fantastic. Creamy tahini sauce with pistachios and dates- so good. The smaller pieces were perfectly charred while the larger pieces were soft and soggy. I wish all the pieces were cut consistently and were charred and crispy. - southwest bison pizza (4/5): this was very good. We always ask for a side of marinara sauce to dip. These flavors were cool but 1400 calories for a small pizza? The margheria at 850 was much more worth it. - mom's meatloaf (2/5): edible but just not good. Dry meatloaf with gravy and undercooked vegetables. I wish it was more tender with a ketchup-based sauce. - carrot cake (5/5): very good. I asked for the cake to be warmed and the icing to be placed on top after. The icing did not have the satisfying cream cheese taste and texture, but the cake was very moist.

Love this place!! I always go for one of the bowls (the teriyaki and the Korean bowls are probably my favorites), but everything on the menu is healthy and delicious. This time I went for the Hawaiian fried rice and it did not disappoint! I also love the interior design; the lighting is soft and the decor is almost going for modern-farmhouse style. Definitely compliments the farm-to-table and freshly/locally sourced ingredients and goods. I don't drink that often, but this most recent time I visited with friends I did order a cocktail and it was AMAZING! I got the Pom Collins, and I honestly want to go back for another this weekend. I also tried their unique take on a Moscow Mule (vodka, no ginger beer), and it was fantastic! Very refreshing and I almost liked it better than a regular one I've had elsewhere. I know it won't be long until I make my way back here for another wonderful meal!

One of the worst meals I've had at Avalon. Got the Panang curry (recommended by the server), and added chicken. It came out as a bowl of soupy mess, nothing like you'd get at even a half-decent Thai restaurant. Taste was blah at best. When I got the bill, I realized that adding the chicken added almost $7 to the meal, so I had the joy of realizing that I paid over $25 for a bad entree. Not sure if they were just having a bad day, but would not go back.

I'll start with the vibe. It's a very bright, fun and open area with modern decor. Kind of disappointed in the food here. We had a party of 4. The Chinese chicken salad was very good. The spicy chicken sandwich was ok, but the kale salad that goes with it was very lemony. The Turkey burger and potato hash were pretty good. Sourdough pizza was very thin and soggy. We ordered a wellness shot and we all tried it and it was 50/50. 2 people disliked it and 2 of us could deal with it. We have visited the one in Dallas TX and had a better experience.

I've been to this True Food twice, and it is okay, but nothing special. I do like their salads and the variety of options there are for vegetarians / vegans. The vegan cheese burger is good, but there isn't an option for fries. Both times I've come here, it was lunch or early dinner (5:30 PM) on a weekday. Overall great experience would go again and recommend. Service was great, our waitress was excellent. From the moment we walked into the door, we were greeted and seated immediately. There is a lot of seating available. We went on a Saturday evening. We left very close to their closing time and we weren't rushed. The food was also great and they were very patient and accommodating. The menu was easy to read and detailed with laying out what was vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc.

This restaurant is an amalgam of flavor combinations intended to be different from typical fare. The interiors are clean, simple and clean. The ambience is fun with a heightened sense of order and structure. Our server was pleasant and helpful. She really tried to make the experience pleasant. I had the grass-fed steak, which exploded with flavor. It was served with perfectly cooked brussel sprouts, charred onion, mini sweet peppers and black rice over a Peruvian pepper sauce. It was a great combination of savory and sweet. My wife had the trout, served with arugula and black quinoa. This dish really needed some kind of sauce, though. It was very bland. Dessert was chocolate chip cookies served with vegan ice cream. Overall, we would come back and try new things. But the dishes we had were a hit and a miss.

First time at this location and I wonder why they make the Ancient Grain Bowl spicy. The same dish is super mild at Lenox. I had to send it back cause spicy food always gives me a bad stomach ache. The edamame dumplings are awesome always. Did not like the lemon-lime water. Way too sour for me. Service was on point. Clean, charming ambience.

We went to the Avalon location. True Foods food is always great but honestly, the pricing is out of control. A side dish of Brussels sprouts is $13-thats a lunch entree at other places. My daughter and I spent $80 on coffee, juice, Brussels sprouts and a salmon salad. Again, really good but way too expensive.

Do you want to have all the pizza and pasta but still feel light and healthy? Well this is the place for you. The food is packed with flavors but it's healthy and delicious! I've always gone here for dinner and as packed as it may be, service was quick for our large table. My favorite is the pizza.. any type!

Had to come back to True Food Kitchen after my first experience being so memorable and this time did not disappoint! Came for the spinach and mushroom pizza and it's one of my favorite pizzas I've ever had, so FLAVORFUL and DELICIOUS!! Again, the manager came to check on how we were enjoying the meal and if there was anything he could get. I'll definitely be back!!

I've been to this location about three times since moving to Georgia. Ive been getting an altered version of the bison pizza which is delicious, but I just ordered one and this time it's barely ANY bison on this pizza. Just scraps of bison, unfortunately Food is delicious but I wish there was consistency in portion or at least not scraps thrown in the pizza, disappointed.

I really wanted to like the food- I love the focus on high quality ingredients. We ordered through Uber eats, a chicken sandwich with a side of Mac & cheese, and the whole grain bowl. The chicken sandwich came without any of the toppings.... I asked for sauce on the side, and somehow ended up with just a dry chicken breast on a bun. No sauce. Nothing. The whole grain bowl was okay but kind of small I thought. (I know better ingredients cost more, but the total bill from the restaurant was ~$55 which seems steep to me) The mac and cheese was very bland and needed salt at the minimum. Maybe it's a better experience in person, but it was a pretty disappointing experience through Uber eats, which is a shame after spending $70 for a very subpar dinner. It's always a huge treat to order Uber eats and not cook, but this wasn't what we'd expected at all.

Hands down my favorite spot to grab a quick bite in all my fav cities! Boca, Dallas, and Alpharetta. Health choices that taste amazing is simply the best. Love the open feel of the dinning area and the cute patio seating at all locations as well. Service is probably one of the best in the industry!

We were walking around killing time, and we decided to have an early dinner. This place is our normal go to as we're very health conscious and normally eat vegan. Christian was our waiter and he was so awesome lmao!! He made the experience effortless and very entertaining. He took such good care of us, and was quite the pal during it all. I had gotten the Forbidden Poke and it was so good nomnomnom. It says it has "magical dust" as an ingredient but it's good lmao. It's not anything to be concerned about, but it does give it even more flavor. Also Christian asked if I wanted chopsticks, and it was funny because I was literally wishing I had it. It's like her read my mind!! Def coming back, but it was so much fun I had to write about it. Thank you!

That Vegan Double Cheeseburger was so good! One of the best things I ever tasted (vegan). My mentor was raving about it. I finally tried it and she wasn't lying. It's delicious! First time at the spot. Didn't grab the health inspection score, but it was likely good because of the area. All of the staff were very nice and polite. I'll be coming back very soon I hope. Yeah that burger was worth the full $18 and some change. I'm looking forward to trying more on the menu.

Amazing food! Service was top notice with all the welcoming atmosphere. Came here for my homegurl who is vegans and loved everything about the fresh and some raw food deserts. Definitely coming back.

This place has been steadily declining over the last year. The prices are very high, and the portions are shrinking. I ordered the salmon dinner for $29. The piece of salmon was tiny! It looked like it was about 3 ounces, and it was also dry and fishy. It came with 6 steamed sugar snap peas, and I subbed out a salad for the rice. The other people at my table got the bison pizza, which was just okay, and the meatloaf, which was good. I love the philosophy of healthy, local food, but $150 for a family of four who all leave hungry is not sustainable.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding food quality, inviting ambience, and exceptional customer service. Very well-maintained restrooms as well which is very important to me. It's a fantastic dining experience overall.

I would give this place a zero if I could. Came in today after having ordered food on the app. Told the waitress I was picking up and gave my name. She was holding the bag with my name, but asked me to open up the app and confirm that it was my order. I am an African-American female, and after speaking to the manager, was told that is not policy. Interesting. Customer Service sucks. Left there with my money and will patronize another establishment. Of note, the Manager didn't seem too concerned about the behavior. He sucks too.

I had a dietary restriction. I mentioned it to the waitress and she told me that I wouldn't be able to have anything on the menu except one of the salads. However, I am very knowledgeable about the types of foods that contain the ingredient, I knew I could have most things as long as garnishing sauces weren't used. It took some back and forth between her and the kitchen. Just kind of showed she didn't know which part of the dish had the ingredient (kind of had a bossy attitude of telling me what I would not be able to have). I am giving it stars still because once I confirmed with the kitchen I just needed by dish without the sauce, I actually had a really yummy meal.

Fresh flavorful palate experience. The service was kind and uplifting. The miso sauce on the ancient grains bowl was delicious. The forbidden poke was cool, fresh, and nicely garnished with mint and cilantro. I highly recommend both dishes and this location. The sparkling prickly pear tisane drink was also refreshing.

I ordered the grass-fed burger w sweet potato hash, side of tofu, and chocolate chip cookie - TASTE: 4/5 - the burger was great and more flavorful than I expected! I really enjoyed the mushrooms, arugula, and burger patty itself. The sweet potato hash and side of tofu could've been seasoned more. The cookie was lovely too; appreciated that it's vegan and gluten free TEXTURE: 4/5 - the burger was thick and juicy, and the mushrooms were a nice complement. Some bites of the cookie were a little dry PRICE: 4/5 - this came out to a $24.50 subtotal. The grass-fed burger is quite expensive at $18 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - filled me up for dinner SERVICE: 5/5 - I ordered online at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and my food was ready on time, approximately 15min later, in a bag at the pick-up table inside ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - only got takeout, but True Food appeared large and clean from my brief walk inside PARKING: 4/5 - parking at Avalon can be frustrating. I was happy to find a spot in the first floor of the parking garage around the corner

10/10 every time. We always suggest True Food for family events because there's something for everyone. The kids love the pizza, the vegans are happy, and everyone shares apps!

Average food with bad service. Ordered tofu scramble and it came with hard cold stale tortilla. Had to ask waiter to get fresh ones which took 15 mins; Another issue was check - they gave someone else's check and it took another 15 mins to find waiter to get our check. Both service and food were below average.

My boyfriend and I have both been here but to the Buckhead location so I was looking forward to trying it up here at the Avalon. We met my girlfriend for dinner and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. The waitress was super nice but the food fell short. My boyfriend got the tacos and said they were just okay. My girlfriend liked her lasagna but I really thought my ancient grain bowl was just okay. My salmon was over cooked and the grains were hard, and I'm guessing not cooked long enough. The sweet potatoes were pretty good but overall the bowl lacked flavor. The side of pesto and soy helped some but just didn't really love the meal. I love the concept of this restaurant and the fact they really try to creat healthy meals. I'm all for healthy but just missed the mark on flavor and either overcooking or undercooking some things. I also felt my boyfriend's tacos were pretty slim for the price. Maybe it was what we got but it was a little disappointing. Love the healthy factor but please add more flavor!

What's unique about this place is their ability to create delicious food that's genuinely good for your body. The founder created the restaurant with the hopes of increasing healthy living for both people and the planet. I love that I can dine here and choose anything on the menu knowing the dish was intentionally created to make my body feel good. Another plus--the food packages well and is great for takeout. I typically order the Ancient Grains Bowl or the Grass-Fed Burger, which is what I got this time. It's juicy, well-seasoned, and the side salad has a deliciously tangy dressing. Instacart was running a special, so I got a complimentary order of the hummus. And it did not disappoint.

Sunday night we waited about 20 minutes to be waited on or given water. Once served we didn't have silverware and the food was very average, I could've made better potato's and noodles at home to be honest. The waiter was friendly and you could tell they meant well, but we won't be returning.

Used to be my favorite go to restaurant. Not sure why they changed the menu but it appears to have been a big mistake. My favs are gone; chopped salad with grilled chicken and chicken teriyaki bowl. Was difficult to get a table on Saturday for lunch and now it's almost empty. Many others feel the same way including the waitresses and chefs. They said there is a new person at Corporate in charge of the menus. Wants to open the dining options up to a broader group. Clearly they are out of touch with reality and doesn't have the ability to listen. What a shame. Very sad to see this happen:(. We're out!

The best salad I have ever had! We have been to the Avalon quite a bit since moving here. We love the area and all it has to offer. Many times I have wondered what the food here was like... so finally I took my wife here for a little lunch date. The inside is bright and nicely laid out. You can see into the kitchen and that place is hopping. Service is outstanding and the over all atmosphere is wonderful. It was a great place to have an intimate lunch while also being surrounded by others. We started with a couple of drinks... I had the common bond... it was delicious and dangerously easy to drink... I felt like I could have kept an endless stream of them coming, I didn't, but they were so good I wanted too. Then we hit the appetizer... their Brussel sprouts. As I've said before we love Brussels and try them everywhere we go. These had a chili string component to them that really pumped up their exceptional flavor... the were OHHH MY GODDIE TOOO DARN HOTTIE!!! Seriously out of this world! I had been craving a really good salad for a while so I tried their chopped salad. It is a generous portion consisting of medjool dates, dried cranberries, jicama, organic apples, manchego, farro, marcona almonds, mixed greens, and lovingly covered in a champagne vinaigrette. This is very simply put... THE BEST SALAD I HAVE EVER HAD! The dates were a pleasant surprise of sweetness that complimented the tang of the dressing and the savory of the manchego. The almonds played extremely well with the jicama adding a crunch that really elevated the salad beyond just the lettuce. All of the ingredients melded together in a symphony of delight! Since eating this salad I have craved it over and over. We now get it delivered to our home and my wife eats it too. It is just heavenly!! I just can't say enough about this wonderful establishment! It is a must dine in location that will have you coming back again and again.

I was looking for a healthy lunch option and decided to try takeout from True Food! On initial glance, prices are a little high (but then again its in Avalon and healthy food seems to always have a higher premium). I ordered the Ancient Grains Bowl with Salmon. It was PHENOMENAL! The pesto sauce it comes with is so tasty and the salmon was cooked so well, flaking and cutting beautifully. I also really liked the sweet potatoes and portabello mushrooms. Overall, True Food was a really delicious and nutritious lunch option!

We always LOVE coming to True Food in the Avalon and our waitress Jackie was amazing. Great food customer service and ambience is never disappoints.
