"One of the most anticipated restaurants of the year is ready to debut in Downtown Summerlin, boosted by a seasonal menu inspired by Dr. Andrew Weil’s anti-inflammatory food pyramid, an early investment and endorsement by Oprah Winfrey, and a bright airy interior to match its upbeat, conscious nutrition mantra. The first of two local expansions for True Food Kitchen, the lifestyle brand will arrive on the Strip in early 2020, but the Summerlin restaurant’s launch this week takes full advantage of a covered patio and open-plan design. Diners can opt for seating at the bar, on stools at long, tall tables, or in green-hued booths beneath planters of herbs and spices. Among the eco-friendly touches, the light, hardwood floors and dining chairs created from recycled soda bottles. With room for 190 at lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch, a Monday to Friday social hour promotion is built around $5 small plate dishes, cocktails, beer, or wines by the glass." - Bradley Martin

"True Food Kitchen, the healthy food restaurant out of Phoenix, now has an opening date for the first of two locations in Las Vegas. On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the location at Downtown Summerlin opens at 10970 Rosemary Park Drive, Suite 160, taking over the former Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar in the northern Dining Arroyo section of the shopping center. Integrative medicine specialist Dr. Andrew Weil co-founded the restaurant with a healthy menu that uses wholesome, simple ingredients. The restaurant plans to serve lunch, dinner, and a weekend brunch with a menu that includes organic Tuscan kale salad, an Inside Out quinoa burger, ancient grains bowl, and the spaghetti squash casserole." - Susan Stapleton

True Food Kitchen is the best restaurant in Downtown Summerlin! We have had lunch here several times and wanted to try the happy hour drinks and menu today and were not disappointed! We dined outside on their fabulous patio with our dogs. Debbie our server was awesome and provided exceptional service making sure everything was perfect. Matt the manager came by our table and was so friendly and helpful. We enjoy coming to Summerlin and eating at True Food Kitchen for their delicious organic food and great service. It's a great choice for a dog friendly restaurant! We highly recommend this restaurant to our friends and neighbors in Las Vegas. Everything is fabulous!

AMAZING FOOD! Always come here to eat on our trips to Vegas. It’s a place you must have to eat in. The food is outstanding and the staff were lovely.

I enjoyed the restaurant very much! It was interesting because I was in Henderson, but when I googled food near me, True Food Kitchen in Summerlin was recommended. I saw a burger with an egg that I really wanted, so I drove across town for it. When I got there I was seated and didn't see that particular item on the menu. I also didn't see eggs as an option but decided to ask anyway. The waitress was very nice and said that the item had been taken out of the menu but went to ask if it could be done. Meanwhile, I didn't notice how fast time flew (since I drove for close to 30 min to get to the restaurant), and I saw I only had 20 minutes. The waitress was incredibly nice and brought the food within 5 min, so I actually ate for another 10 min and had to leave. The food was very delicious, and I got to have the egg with the burger that I drove across town for, haha, so I am grateful for the quick and accommodating experience. The vibe of the place is also very bright, colorful and welcoming. It's very spacious and nice. I will be back as I didn't have time for dessert but the cappuccino was great and it came with these really cool looking sugar cubes I hadn't seen since I was a kid 😊.

Timmy was our server and between him and the incredible food we had to share our that we had a 5 star experience. The first in class ingredients with people who care that are cooking and serving made our day. Recommend- the Matcha, coffee, vegan pizza

Google
Kyler, our server, seemed truly enthusiastic about the food and excelled at describing the dishes. We absolutely enjoyed our date night at this lovely restaurant. Thank you.

Google
It was our first time here and it was awesome. Kyler was our waiter and he was above and beyond the best waiter! Food was so so good and fresh! I had the butternut squash soup and butternut squash pizza! I would recommend this place to everyone!

We came to Vegas for the first time this October for the when we were young festival. A member of our group has celiac and a dairy allergy. True Food Kitchen was so knowledgeable about allergy safety and on top of that the food was LITERALLY amazing! 😍 We ate there three of the five days we were in vegas. Their cocktails were also some of the best we’ve ever had. My favorite bites were the lettuce wraps and the clear Mary drink was divine. Our servers were amazing, our last server even gave a free glass of wine on our last visit. We will be back next time we visit. ❤️

Dining out is more than just about the food! It's about the experience, and a great waiter can truly elevate that. I have had the pleasure of being served by James at True Food Kitchen, and I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding service he provides! My daughter and I are regulars at True Foods Kitchen and have had James serve us many times! From the moment that we are seated, James always greets us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. He always takes the time to explain the menu in detail, offering insightful recommendations with the seasonal menu options. Great service can make a meal more enjoyable! and James ensures that ours is always exceptional. If you're visiting True Foods Kitchen, I hope you're lucky enough to be served by him!

Yelp
Came here again for happy hour. My waitress Samantha was absolutely outstanding!!! She was so attentive and made sure everything was perfect. 10/10 experience!

Lesley M.

Yelp
Great freshly made food. Wonderful service by James. The vibe of the restaurant is also cool. First time here, but won't be the last.

Lucy A.

Yelp
Today I went to true food kitchen for happy hour for the first time. And I must say, the food and drinks were incredible! Our server, Samantha, was very attentive and recommended her favorite options. 10/10 experience! Will definitely come back! :)

Nathasia

Yelp
We really enjoyed the freshly made juices, especially the Kale and Beets-based one, which was both refreshing and delicious. A standout part of our visit was the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Debbie. From the moment we were seated, Debbie was friendly, attentive, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal and even offered great recommendations from the menu. Her friendly demeanor truly enhanced our experience, and we felt well taken care of from start to finish.

Yelp
Terrible This restaurant seems to be in trouble 20 dollars for s strip of chicken and a bun- this was take out so I couldn't send it back Didn't eat it - which is sad because we waited an hour and I was hungry

Yelp
Stopped in today as we do most Saturdays for lunch. We had the best welcoming when we got seated at our table by ANGELA. ANGELA had the best personality and beautiful smile and the service was fast and efficient. I ordered the Butternut Squash pizza, butternut squash soup, and my wife ordered the simple green salad with side of sweet potatoes. I highly recommend the Butternut squash pizza, gluten free... super delicious and I will for sure order it again next time. ANGELA'S service was perfect and Yelp only allows a 5 star review.... I would give 10 stars if I could. ANGLEA treated us like VIP combined with great food... makes True Food Kitchen in my eyes the best restaurant in Las Vegas. The ambiance is super nice with a ton of healthy choices. Restaurant is super clean along with the bathrooms. Thank you ANGELA for making our lunch perfect with your exceptional service you provided.

Yelp
Absolutely love this restaurant and everything it stands for, quality ingredients, no seed oils, and prioritize organic as well. The best part is, it all tastes amazing and their drinks are so good! There are two locations in Vegas, one at Cesar's Forum Shops and the other in Summerlin, both locations are great. Summertime has indoor and outdoor seating which is nice and I believe both locations have bar seating.

Catalina J.

Yelp
This place deserves to be more busy than they were. It took a while to be tended to when we first walked in but our server was so kind and attentive. I love the array of healthy options they have here that are unique too! They offer table, booth and bar seating. There are gluten free and vegetarian options as well. The location is easy to get to in downtown summerlin. As far as ambiance it's casual restaurant style. The chicken Parmesan was by far one of my favorites. Paired with the spaghetti squash was a different dish I have never tried but I loved it. Can't wait to try different dishes

Alex B.

Yelp
Actually, maybe 3.5 stars. Haven't been here in such a long time. Food was decent but service could use a bit of improvement. We waited for utensils and napkins while our food got cold. Wait staff wasn't well coordinated, just a disorganized. Restaurant was busy which probably added to the chaos.

Sara O.

Yelp
Had the best experience here for sunday brunch with my family! Shane was our server and stayed on top of everything quickly and professionally. He handled so many tables with ease. I ordered the avocado toast and have been thinking about it ever since! Haha it was so delicious! I loved the kick it had with the crush chili sauce on top, the side salad it came with was so great! I inhaled every bite on my plate! So so good! I paired it with water & a cafe Latte which was served hot and I couldn't have been happier. Obsessed with their brunch menu! Great quality food and service! DEFINITELY coming back asap!

Alex P.

Yelp
Here again! Love this place - truly the epitome of health and flavor. I love how upfront they are regarding their ingredients. Everything is always fresh and flavorful with opportunities to reduce salt, sugars, carbs. I snagged the seasonal butternut squash pizza (they typically run out quickly as I've tried to order this a few times in the last couple years without success) and it's absolutely delicious. My fiancée tried their burger which was also great - I've never tried their burgers before. They're fantastic. Now onto some holiday shopping!

Yvette A.

Yelp
We were shopping in the area and found this place on yelp. It has allot of options for gluten and dairy free. We ordered the butternut squash soup which was delicious. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich. The gluten bread was not my favorite and the sauce was not hot. But it was good overall. The beef sandwich at $26 was not worth it. Very little beef on the sandwich but the flavor was good. We wanted to try the squash pie but they were sold out. Overall I would go again to try some new things. Give it a shot if in the area.

Stacy J.

Yelp
Was skeptical about this place .... BUT I recommend it. TASTE LIKE TRUE REAL FOOD. So fresh .....

Ameena A.

Yelp
**Gluten free people beware** ^Now, I say this with a grain of salt, because I know mistakes can happen and yadda yadda yadda. But, I don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone else - so I would say to be extra cautious and double/triple check your order. Essentially, I ordered what I thought was their gluten free chicken sandwich, I was told that the chicken was coated in gluten free panko on a gluten free bun. Asked when I ordered if it was GF, when it was delivered, and ate it happily. Was violently ill 2 hours later. Also - I am someone who can handle cross contamination without getting sick, and this was not that. This was 100% a gluten-filled chicken sandwich (either the chicken, bun, or both). I was so disappointed and upset - these mistakes can be very harmful. And again, this is not a cross contamination issue or small amount of gluten (which I can tolerate and am fine with). Double and maybe triple check your items, especially if you have an intolerance or serious allergy.

Yelp
Shout out to James who is a great waiter at True Food Summerlin! This is one of my favorite restaurants not only because the food is quality but every time I come the staff takes great care of me... My favorites are Penang Curry with salmon, Korean noodles bowl with grass fed beef, ancient grain bowl with chicken. Seasonal menu with a butternut squash soup is delicious. I also love the chard cauliflower and I'm a huge fan of the peanut butter tart. At times they have an amazing key lime tart.... Oh and the Tulsi Tea with homemade ginger lemon elixir beats out my medicine ball from Starbucks every-time. If True food had drive thru I would get a Tulsi Tea everyday!

Athéna T.

Yelp
Honestly HATE to put bad reviews but ugh- we had came here at the "To go" section of the restaurant and we had ordered the Matcha Horchata Latte and we were served the regular Matcha latte rather than the Horchata one that we ordered. Honestly nobody was upset at it mistakes happen all the time and i totally understand. We approached one of the ladies that also worked at the to go section but wasn't the one who took our order and we explained to her that it wasn't what we ordered and that it was quite bad as a drink and she proceeded to check the order and it was indeed a horchata matcha that we ordered just the guy maybe misunderstood since i said latte at the end however there's only one of them with horchata.. anyways the guy who made our drinks and took our order seemed annoyed with us and then proceeded to remake the drinks but shorted my drink by significantly a good amount compared to my friend's maybe out of pettiness ? I don't know but i know due to this incident i definitely will not be back because why short my drink over a misunderstanding? Really? PS: They use culinary grade matcha rather than ceremonial so it tastes like grass and is no where near a quality matcha so honestly after the interaction + the matcha quality i definitely will not be back! Not a great look for the business.

Yelp
After passing by True Foods everyday on my way to work, I finally decided to stop in today. My only complaint is that I waited so long to give this place a try because I was blown away. The food was amazing. The Charred Cauliflower had such a nice flavor to it and paired so nicely with the dates. It was such a good combination. But the best part of my experience was the service. Breezjae was our server and she was outstanding. She was so nice and so knowledgeable about the menu. It was really nice because my mom has a gluten allergy and Bre was able to make recommendations based off of her accommodations. She really did go above and beyond for my family and she alone will be the reason I go back. The manager Matt stopped by and he was amazing too!! He was so sweet and checked in and made sure our experience was great. It's always a nice touch when a manager comes by. True Foods was amazing. If you decide to stop in make sure to ask for Bre!! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This review is for the service today, especially takeout. The food was decent, but the service was ABYSMAL. Arrived on time to pickup my order tonight and looked through it to make sure it was done correctly. Noticed the dessert was missing the ice cream (that I paid extra for) so I told the bartender who was working next to the pickup point that I think they forgot the ice cream. She said something to the effect of "look, i'm a bartender, thats not my problem, you need to wait to talk to someone else." Ooooookay... maybe I hit a nerve or something. I have a hearing disability from the military so chalked it up to maybe I misheard her. While they were correcting things, I noticed that there also didn't appear to be any tuna in the tuna poke bowl I ordered. I went to the other bartender and said that I think the tuna was missing. She rolled her eyes at me and told me that I need to look in the other container because it's always separate. Okay this time I heard it perfectly clear and there was DEFINITELY an attitude, and i was nothing but nice when I brought it up. I went back to check the bag in case i missed another container of tuna and nope, no tuna. So I brought it up again and said it wasn't in there. She sighed with exasperation and walked over in a huff, grabbed the bag, and started throwing the containers of food out on the countertop, exasperated that I must be somehow unable to find the tuna that they so obviously packed. When she didn't find it, she snapped at another guy (who turned out to be the manager) that i didn't get my tuna. Once they fixed the order, I told the manager that I'm pretty sure I caught a ton of attitude from the bartenders and that i did not appreciate it. He said he saw it with his own eyes and was very aware of it and was planning on talking to them about it. He apologized and agreed that it was really bad, but offered nothing more. I don't necessarily need freebies, but I couldn't help but feel like my concerns (which he agreed were valid) were not taken seriously. Love the food, and have been here multiple times, but doubt that I'll be back if this is how they're going to treat their customers.

Therese A.

Yelp
Liked the food here, restaurant easy to find, clean and also had a patio with misters and service was good . Everything was tasty and i enjoyed my Rose Sangria as well. However, the restaurant is a mix of a variety of food options and feels more like a lunch spot than dinner spot. But prices were def more dinner like although there is a range of items and price points to choose from. I enjoyed True Food & dishes were quality but I left a little bit confused as to whether I'd come back for lunch or dinner! If you go, let me know what you think!

Yelp
Yelp Review 2024 #75 I've been coming to this True Food Kitchen location for several years. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown Summerlin and has been one of the few that has stayed open for over 4 years. And I hope they stick around for more years to come. Edamame Dumplings: Dumplings with white truffle oil, dashi, and thai basil. This is my favorite item on the menu. We would get this as a shareable appetizer and I would order another one as my entree and eat it with a side of chicken. The dumpling is soft and not heavy or doughy. The mashed edamame filling is nice. The broth with truffle oil is remarkably delicious. 5/5 Guacamole: Avocado, lime, edamame, pistachio pesto, with house-made baked tortilla chips. A nice twist to good ol' guacamole and chips. The chips are grainy and lightly salted but pleasant. 4/5 Tuna Lettuce Cups: Bibb lettuce, wild-caught tuna, tataki rice, pineapple relish, chili garlic crunch. Light, refreshing and crunchy. A nice healthier option if you like crunchy food without it being fried. 4/5 Korean Noodle Bowl: Noodles with soy sauce, mushrooms, carrots, cilantro, lots of green onions, sesame seeds. I was not a fan of this dish. The soy sauce plus all the green onions are too much that you can't taste anything else. Which is probably why it's no longer on the menu. 2/5 Pizza: Ancient Grain Bowl: Miso sesame glazed sweet potato, charred onions, snap peas, portobello, avocado, organic grains, pistachio pesto, hemp seeds, and turmeric. You can add your choice of protein (salmon, steak, chicken, smoked tempeh, tofu, or shrimp). A nice way to get your fruit and veggies in. It's a very colorful dish with lots of different textures. 4/5 Matcha Horchata: Matcha, vanilla, and oat milk. A nice combination of two of my favorite drinks. The only sad thing is it comes in a small glass. 4/5 If you want something healthier whether you're a carnivore, vegetarian, vegan or what have you or if you have a group with different dietary preferences - True Food Kitchen is the place to be. It's quite a big restaurant with lots of tables without being cramped. They take reservations and my other favorite is the service - all of our servers over the years have been fantastic.

Heather O.

Yelp
Popular, stylish, and delicious spot! I loved the colors and the modern vibe of the restaurant. I also liked that we got to look into their busy kitchen, it really added to the experience. Our server Shane was very diligent about the modifications to our order, which was so appreciated as there were allergies at the table; he was awesome. Now, the absolute odes I could write about the avocado toast...wow. It was spicy and flavorful and more than enough to satisfy for breakfast. I also loved the little salad that came on the side, yum! I thoroughly enjoyed the iced coffee, and their lattes are so pretty. I would love to come back and try other dishes, but I'm afeared I am now addicted to the avocado toast & don't know how I'll be able to try anything else!

Janet M.

Yelp
WOW!!! So delicious!!! This place NEVER disappoints!!!! I always order the chopped salad and today my husband ordered the pot roast dip sandwich with sweet potato hash! He practically licked the plate!!! lol We LOVE the service we got from Shane! He is AMAZING!!! What a servants heart he has!!!!! THANK YOU SHANE!!!

Xavier M.

Yelp
Our server James introduced us to the menu at this incredible restaurant, and helped us with choosing the two great dinners we got. Both diners were preceded by an incredibly tasty butternut squash soup. If you live in the Las Vegas valley, you've got to come over here and try out this restaurant. Super fresh, unique, delicious, seasonable, sustainable food. They even sent us home with an incredible recipe! The ambiance is really laid back, like a giant lively living room.

Kimberly F.

Yelp
We went here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. It's cute inside, very clean. Servers are friendly. Food was yummy. We got a kale salad and mushroom pizza to split. I also got a Moscow mule, but that didn't taste great. Everything else was amazing.

Hanna S.

Yelp
Basically comfort food with an emphasis on whole grains. The prickly pear tisane was refreshing but almost wholly tart. A bit of stevia improved the balance. I enjoyed the ancient grain bowl, especially the sautéed onions and the interesting, bright pesto. It wasn't super flavorful, but I wanted something simple, and this was ideal. My husband's Hawaiian fried rice was true to Spam versions we had in the islands. It was salty and savory with a hint of heat. The strawberry crumble cake dessert was strange. It tasted good, but was soggy when I wanted the top layer to be crispy. It seemed underbaked to me. I didn't get what made it a crumble. The patio was shady and pleasant on a hot day. It did seem like they forgot us out there a few times. All in all, a nice neighborhood option. We'll be back when we want something lighter than Fine Company next door.

Guy K.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -True Food is a chain that serves using healthy ingredients & doesn't sell soda -Sounds like something RFK Jr. would use as a template to champion his MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) goal. -Pun intended, seriously the food here is really good. -I have enjoyed their Butternut Pizza, Thai Curry & Buffalo Chicken Salad. -The place is very clean, has an open kitchen, styled modernly w/ plenty of seating. Overall, I like that they have good pinot noir & the staff is very kind.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Great place to go any time of day. The food is on point as well as their prices. Everyone is always nice from the moment you walk in. Servers are great and friendly. Love the decor and how bright and open it is. Highly recommend!

Christina M.

Yelp
Such a good dinner at True Food! They have such healthy and clean options. I ordered the Citrus Salmon Salad and had them add a scope of quinoa. It was definitely one of the best salads I have. The grapefruit was so unique but paired perfectly with the salmon. I also got the dragon fruit lemonade and it was so refreshing. The staff was great and very sensitive to food allergies. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Joe F.

Yelp
The food here is so fresh and tasty and we have experienced some of the best service in town at this location. I absolutely love the ambience and the clean feeling that you get while eating here. We can't wait to come back.

Tyler P.

Yelp
Had a great dinner! The food was delicious, but what really stood out was our waiter, James. He was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and made the whole night fun. Service was quick, drinks stayed full, and we felt totally taken care of. James is the best--ask for him if you go! Definitely coming back soon.

Anna L.

Yelp
I loved this place!! I was a first timer, and our server was very kind, attentive, and let us know everything about the menu and clean ingredients they use. The espresso was really good, and the food was just delicious (reasonably priced, too). Honestly really impressed with this place, I will be back for sure.

Kristy B.

Yelp
I love having lunch here. The food is always great but the service is phenomenal. Shane is so professional and always upbeat. We ask it for him time and time again.

Jaynar S.

Yelp
We left disappointed and had high hopes after reading all the great reviews. While the OG Grass Fed Burger was super juicy and flavorful, the potatoes that came with the dish were dry, hard & needed salt. Happy Hour is M-F from 3-6pm. The Not Your Mama's Meatloaf Sliders from the Happy Hour menu was ok, and the Peach Mojito was good, but $5 for can of Modelo beer? I guess I should've have checked as they do not serve draft beers. My daughter had the Kid's Mozzarella Pizza from the Kids Menu. FYI, drinks are not included with kids meals. It was $5.50 for a kids Peach Lemonade. The least favorite dish was the Grilled Chicken and Mozzarella Panini. Honestly, the flavors & texture of the crunchy chili-garlic didn't pair well with each other. The meal is grilled chicken breast & broccoli served in a "crunch wrap" with that crunchy sauce. And it's not even served like a panini yet its called one. The interior is very spacious and tables can be arranged to seat large groups. There is also a large outdoor seating space and a separate area for private events. From a value standpoint, I can't justify paying the slightly higher costs for these dishes & drinks when the quality didn't match. Perhaps if we decide to return, we'll get a better experience.

Parris J.

Yelp
***This review is solely based on my experience through a limited menu I've been to this restaurant when I use to deliver on Uber Eats. I noticed how big the space was and loud but vibrant the environment was at the same time. We were asked to come here for a work meeting. I'll first start off by saying the service is awesome. Our group was a bit spaced apart we sat at these high tables that seated 4 people. First thing came to mind was "why don't they have something for women's purses "? Well someone had their hands under the table and discovered "hidden" hooks. Anyhow, we received limited menus for $25 per person. The table gets to choose 2 starters we got the the Loaded Fingerling Potatoes: hatch chili ranch, chili garlic crunch, cotija, Chef Matt's Magical Dust (Vegan/Gluten Free). Those were really delicious I would order those for myself (9 out of 10). The second item was the SOURDOUGH STREET CORN FLATBREAD: roasted corn, yogurt crema, cotija, cilantro, aleppo pepper (Vegan). I didn't get a pic but these were good its it's just the flatbread was exactly that flat like Communion crackers. I would say a 7.5 out of 10 from what I remember. For my entree I ended up choosing the Citrus Salmon Salad*;range glazed sustainable salmon, toasted walnuts and almonds, feta, grapefruit, citrus vinaigrette, organic mixed greens (Gluten Free). The salmon had a little flavor, I wasn't a fan of the vinaigrette dressing and the greens tasted like they were fresh out of the ground IMO. I gave it a 6.5 out of 10. Lately we were able to get dessert, it was between COLOSSAL COOKIE AND ICE CREAM: sourdough batter, TCHO 68% chocolate, Cosmic Bliss organic grass-fed ice cream or the THE PINK LIME TART: key lime & ube filling, marcona almond & coconut crumble (Vegan/Gluten). I wanted the cookie but I thought it would be messy and we were not informed about the ice cream that came with it. The tart was decent, tart level about 6-7, taste was a 7 out of 10. I didn't really care for the crust area but the dessert itself not bad. This is one of those places you may come back to try something else but it's not anytime soon.

Yelp
Wonderful meal! Great food and very healthy choices. Angela was our server and she was thoughtful as well as responsive to anything we needed. We had the meatloaf sliders and dips during happy hour, both were delicious. The butternut squash pizza was such a treat, the dough was very good and another great shareable. We also had the OG burger, turkey burger and lasagna. All of those were very delicious. I will be back to try more dishes and will recommend True Food Kitchen. This also happens to be a chain that we were told to try.

Daniel Q.

Yelp
Chantel and Angela recommended a drink and Kai made it to perfection. Excellent drinks and food.

Kim N.

Yelp
Overpriced and overhyped. I always want to love true food kitchen but it seems to always be a miss for me food wise. The service is always great and the restaurant is beautiful but I don't find anything delicious or unique about the food. I got the chopped cob salad this time and although the ingredients were fresh, it had no flavor.

Ken M.

Yelp
Vegan Double Cheeseburger is my favorite item here. I've also had the Ancient Grains Bowl (with Organic Tofu) and Korean Noodle Bowl (with Organic Smoked Tempeh). Iced Matcha Horchata and Kale Aid are good beverages. Squash Pie is similar to pumpkin pie but with squash instead of pumpkin. Next, I'd like to try the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl and Roasted Butternut Squash Pizza (winter seasonal item). This business has the best location and view in Downtown Summerlin, overlooking the small man-made pond. The walls facing the outside are all window. It is an upscale health-conscious restaurant with minimalist decor. The entire restaurant is kept clean and uncluttered. The menu emphasizes healthier dining. Service is friendly and attentive.

Celeste C.

Yelp
I loved loved loved true food kitchen. So far it's been my favorite restaurant in Summerlin. From the moment you walked in the hostess is super nice. The restaurant is so clean and has such cute decor. We got sat down right away and the server brought us water without even asking which was great in this 117 degree weather. We asked if he recommended anything and boy did he not disappoint. My meal was delicious and filing. The rest of my family enjoyed theirs as well. I definitely recommend this place compare to other restaurants in this shopping center. Will definitely come back whenever I am in town!

Yelp
Came to True Food for lunch and was disappointed with our experience, which is why I am giving this restaurant 3 stars. Food: Taste of food was good. Brussel sprouts didn't have any mushrooms as noted on the menu. Tomato soup was thick and very good. Bowl was average. Service: Our waitress did not check on our table very often. Appetizer was served and we didn't have any utensils or napkins. We were waiting about half an hour for our entrees to come out. Eventually the manager, Debbie, came out and assisted and comped our entire meal and apologized, which was very nice. She was probably the best part of our experience. I also wanted to note that we found a sticker or something plastic in the bowl, which was disappointing since we had waited so long to get our food. I would come back to give True Food another chance still. Service will need to be improved though.

Yelp
Toni took great care of us at the bar. Her attentiveness and menu suggestions were perfection. Also, even though she was super busy, she took time with everyone to listen, converse and connect. Wonderful service, fair prices and exceptional food. We love this restaurant. Thank you, Toni!

Yelp
On Dec 26 I made a lunch reservation for a party of 5 via OpenTable, but I was told it wouldn't be honored because it was made too recently. After waiting, a staff member called for a party of 5, but when no one else responded, I suspected it was my reservation. However, she insisted it wasn't without confirming my name and refused to seat us, despite many empty tables. We ended up ordering to-go, and no other party of 5 arrived. On the other hand at least 4 parties that arrived after us were seated almost immediately while we were waiting. While the situation was frustrating (it felt like the hostess did not want to seat us for whatever reason, perhaps due to racial profiling), the food exceeded expectations, and the rest of the staff was pleasant. I've also seen other reviews mentioning racial profiling and discrimination at other True Food Kitchen locations, so it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident.

Yelp
Outdoor seating was perfect fit to perfect evening temps. Drinks were fresh but depended on your choice. Some had no taste at all. Food was as also very fresh and clean.

Yelp
One of my all time favorite casual dinning spots with high quality food and consistent good service. this location is my new favorite. Hosts here always do a great job accommodating me and other mom friends with our gang of strollers. We appreciate you and know it's not easy!! menu is seasonal, which is nice always something new to try.. they also have a full bar so if you like to have an alcoholic beverage with your meal. restrooms are always clean.. location is great near shopping.. it's easy becoming our regular lunch spot... Highly recommend their peach lemonade.. and their chicken panini.. it's not your typical panini!! It's better :) Prices are reasonable.. mid range $16 to $30 ish!!

Yelp
As somebody that is always watching my weight and trying to eat healthy I love going to true food kitchen because I never walk away feeling bad after I get done eating. I love their roasted Brussel sprouts, I always get them every time I am there. I really like their kale drink as well. Every time I leave that restaurant, I feel as though I've done something healthy for myself and I'm taking very good care of my body. I appreciate having this restaurant in my neighbourhood so that I can go and eat somewhere and not feel guilty when leaving, but instead have an extremely positive experience.

Yelp
Service was great on a Sunday morning. Food left more to be desired. I found the smoked salmon toast to be quite dry. I added eggs to my order, jammy eggs, which were offered on the avocado toast, and what I got was just a plain old hard-boiled egg. This place is definitely on the healthier side and I felt good about the nutritious meal, however, it did lack some flavor. The fresh-pressed juice was delicious. I enjoyed the Kale Aid very much.

Yelp
The edamame dumplings are to die for. However, they run out!! It's the most depressing thing ever. I had to go back the next day to try to get them. Their squash lasagna is also incredible. Those are my two favorite things on the menu and I rarely venture out of those. If it's not broke, why fix it? We sat outside and I loved the open spacious area. I brought my dog and he was welcomed warmly. Drinks were great too. I am definitely coming back when I am in town.

Yelp
I'm definitely glad we decided to give True Food Kitchen another try. This time the service was fantastic! Justin was always right there for drink refills, as well as bringing out the correct orders and in a timely manner. Also, he was super friendly. I really liked the edamame guac, but the chips were overcooked. I also really like all their seasonal hummus. The edamame dumplings were delicious. Everyone liked their steak or their salmon entree with the exception of an odd flavor in the rice that came with salmon. It tasted like it had mint mixed in with rice. I love mint, but it was weird in the rice? They were out of the desserts we really wanted, and of the desserts we did try, none were a big hit. I love trying different things at restaurants and landing on my favorites, but here they change their menu seasonally, and my favorites disappear. This is always a good place to go if you have a mixed group of meat/fish eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. The atmosphere is a large open room and somehow manages to be quite enough to be able to have conversations and actually hear everyone in your party... I love that! I also really like the location in downtown Summerlin.

Yelp
Update! Man smh...I really absolutely dig this place...but there was some unfortunate changes to the menu that make it not as friendly for, vegans, gluten free and nut allergies. Hence the update has 3 orange stars. They discontinued a few of the best dishes on the menu that we're going to miss. The service is still wonderful and some of the best. A big thank you to Myla and Debbie. These two really helped navigate the menu for the very few vegan options true food kitchen does offer. Question will We come back???...we'll not as often as we did,but yes we will come by to say hello and maybe have a cup of coffee and chat with the awesome people that work here. We will keep checking the menu each season to see if any updates are made...God bless
