"True Loaf is a South Beach bakery that’s a reliable place for some great pastries, including one of the best almond croissants in town. They also sell sandwiches, which are good, but we come here for their sweet pastries. There’s that massive and delicious almond croissant, but also great fruit tarts as well as a dulce de leche monkey bread. This place can get crowded on the weekends, and there’s not much seating, but there’s also a lovely little waterfront park with picnic benches (Maurice Gibb Memorial Park) just a block away." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"An OG offering in the bustling Sunset Harbour neighborhood, True Loaf doesn’t share the traditional story of a pastry chef who trained under the watchful eye of masters. Owner Tomas Strulovic learned to bake after leaving his career in finance and opening True Loaf, and now the former banker makes some of the best croissants in Miami and other picture-perfect pastries." - Amber Love Bond
"This small bakery is a reliable place for some great pastries, including the best almond croissant in Miami. They also sell sandwiches, which are good, but we usually come here for the sweet stuff. There’s that massive almond croissant, but also more great rotating pastries that are perfectly baked and often include liberal amounts of dulce de leche. True Loaf is one of the best bakeries in town, so it can get crowded on the weekends, and there’s not much seating, but the beach isn't too far away if you want to have a picnic." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
"True Loaf is a South Beach bakery that’s a reliable place for some great pastries, including one of the best almond croissants in town. They also sell sandwiches, which are good, but we come here for their sweet pastries. This place can get crowded on the weekends, and it's pretty much a takeout-only spot. But the beach isn't too far away if you want to have a sandy picnic." - ryan pfeffer
"Let’s say, for some reason, Lucali doesn’t work out. Or maybe your boat is leaving too early for pizza. Then just walk next door to True Loaf, one of Miami’s best bakeries. They do sandwiches, but also have an excellent selection of sweet pastries that include a huge almond croissant and probably at least one thing stuffed generously with dulce de leche. This is pretty much only a takeout operation, and the earlier you get here, the better. They will sell out of things by the afternoon." - ryan pfeffer
